Quality Folders with a Built-In Tab
Smead File Folders are durable and useful. The built-in 1/3-cut tab is very helpful and I prefer using the tab instead of labeling my folders with plastic tab inserts which tend to fall off. This product has helped me organize both my desk and my filing room. I would definitely recommend this product to others to organize both their home and business offices; it is versatile and convenient, suitable for all of your filing needs.

The smead red file folder is exactly what I need for files that I am putting into storage. I have plenty of room to write on the tab and the front for locating the folder in a box. They get a lot of abuse but are still in good shape.

Top-rate, Top-tab folders
I love to use these folders for organizing large amounts of paperwork. The three locations of the tabs make it fast and convenient to find the right folder. They are sturdy, and once I am finished with them and put them in storage, they hold up for years with little wear.I also love the variety of colors. I use a different color each year to help me organize.

Do you know what I love most?... Being able to see my desk. I work for an apartment community and we keep a folder for each of our tenants. Instead of having papers scattered everywhere, they can neatly be contained in these folders. Unlike some regular manilla file folders, these are heavier stock and aren't flimsy when stuffed full of papers. As an added bonus, they come in vibrant colors. Having a little more selection than just plain old beige is a nice addition to my day. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone - whether you need it for home files or office files!

We are a green office and we use green folders for our marketing. I then use yellow and this pretty teal as my other meeting folders (blue + yellow = green) for the guys. Not feminine (or they wouldn't use them) but such a vibrant color. Definitely wont lose these : )

Brighten & Lighten your load!
I have ordered these folders for my office to help keep the guys and their projects color coded and organized. When I came to work here, it was boring old manila. NOT ANY MORE! These help distinguish between jobs and have helped the guys stay organized and look on top of everything when they walk in to meetings. They are durable and none of these colors is too dark for the clear labels with black print we use. Will be ordering the jeweled ones for office stuff in the next few weeks!!!

Add a little color to your life
I Love color folders. Let's face it, most office buildings are not designed for beauty. And depending on the type of business, you may not have as much flexability to decorate and have your work space enjoyable. These color folders completely brighten up your area. Not only are these folders fun to have, they are great for organization. I am a neat freak and I have different tasks and responsibilities in my office. I like to keep each responsibility filed in a different color to make sure that I keep myself organized. It also helps brighten up the day. When you have fun colors to work with, it helps you relax and open your mind to new and fun things to do.

I color coordinate letter size folders to go inside my Smead legal size hanging folders. My projects are thus clearly defined and a pleasure to look at. This is an easy and inexpensive way to organize. I also applaud Smead products for being made in U.S.A. and responsibly made from recycled content.

Smead file folders come in a great variety of color. We use the different colors to keep our employee files organized by section. Our Human Resources department finds the color code system to be to find a great time savings. The only, very small complaint, is that every once and a while the 3 different tab top types end up being unbalanced in a box making it more difficule to stager the employee files. Overall a great product.

The folders are sturdy and don't colapes even if there isn't enough folders in the hanging folders. I have some folders that I have put in storage, so far been there for 3 years and still in Very Good shape.

I am a busy girl, and having the colored file folders make my office prettier- yes- it's all about being pretty. Actually, functionally, they make it so much easier to find a file, and pretty too- can't beat that! I get lots of comments from other Realtors and clients about how organized I am. Some of the finer points of these pink file folders are the simple, overlooked key points that typically get taken for granted. Example: the fact I can handle the files without getting cardboard paper cuts. Really. The fact that I can color coordinate files in a more refined way, utilizing more than the basic primary colors is HUGE! Essentially I get the benefits of a cusom order file folder while still paying the modest price of smead basic inventory. Excellent item.

I love Smead file folders as these are products i use every day Monday through Friday at my work (Bank Of America- Home loans - Partial Release Division). The different coloured folders are very attractive. I use these products on regular basis.The different types of Investors i deal with are assigned each adifferent colour by the management to make work easier and organised. The material used in making the folders are soft and i love the texture too.Its an exciting experience to use these unique Smead products every day.

I needed colored file folders at work to file this year's spending reports. I color code each year to separate the fiscal years. I choose Smead Organomics purple 1/3 cut letter file folders because I like purple. I will be happy filing all year long with my neatly organized purple files. I have 4 different colors of these three tab files and I LOVE them. Not only do they keep my papers organized and together but I can quickly see where I am and what needs done by using the different colors with for different projects and departments. Unlike some files these never seem to break down and get all cheap and tacky looking. Only down sidee is that they are made of such nice quality material that they give the worse papercuts if you not careful.

I have learned over the years as an Accountant that being organized is as important as showing up for work everyday. I have to track contracts, billings, payables, journals etc. Each year I choose a file folder color to use and when one Fiscal Year ends and another starts I never miss file, and there is no confusion which year I am working with. Thanks for making all of the wonderful colors to choose from and most importantly using recycle materials.

ORGANIZATION AT THE TIP OF MY FINGERS
I am the manager for a medical staffing agency and have a great need for organization for my employees. I have over 100 employees and sometimes need to pull the file quickly at times to call them for a job. The different color folders makes it so easy to see my employees names and to give them each a different color folder helps too. The folders are durable and hold together well to hold a lot of papers.

Who doesn't like a rainbow? I use these files for filing, organizing, to transport documents for signatures. I like that they stand out against the vanilla manila standard folder, and they are sturdy enough to withstand being passed around, filed and refilled, even sometimes after being defiled! I reuse and recycle them, too-- I can make them last nearly forever.

I work in a busy personal injury law office. We use the whole rainbow of your folders to represent different aspects of each client's case. Purple is important because that is the color we chose for the "Demand", which determines whether the case will be settled or go to trial. Thank you, Smead, for keeping us organized and on task! Here at Interim we use Smead File folders for everything! We use them for discharged patient charts, organizing our drawers, file cabinets, and personal files. With an office full of manilla folders, the colored files help me to spot my important files quickly. It is easy to relate the color to the subject. Red is for the Security file, orange for the marketing, yellow for staff meetings, green for expense file and blue for personnel issues. If I must be out of the office, I can tell someone to get the yellow file on my desk and know they will find it quickly.

Organizing the Whole County
I work in the accounting office, for all five of the skilled nursing facilities in my county. That being said, there is always five of everything that I need to keep record of. These file folders are perfect for that. First, they come in five different colors, one for each of the facilities. The different colors would also be very useful, for the ultimate organizer, if you had multiple projects or multiple departments in your company or at home. Two, they come with a 1/3-cut tab, which makes it perfect for me to hold three of these file folders per hanging file folder. One is labeled on the left, one is labeled in the middle, and one is labeled on the right. These are well worth the price, and I know I will be buying these again, when I run out. On that note, these file folders are very sturdy and durable, so you could put a new label on the 1/3 cut tab, and reuse them again and again, which could make the possibility of running out seem impossible.

I got a job as a secretary and was thrilled because I'm one of the only people I know that loves to do paperwork. I use the mead purple file folders at work to file customers into our database. I like them because they are sturdy and dependable, and I love them because they are fun and the color lifts my mood when I start to get tired. When It Isn't "Just a Folder"
I needed a colorful organizer that held numerous accounts at one time. I bought the pretty, colored folders and opened up one of each of the colors. I then stacked them on top of each other and stapled them down the middle four times #requires a special stapler#. I now have a colorful, professional-looking item that organizes my accounts and helps me locate information quickly.

I work at a company that has a ridiculous amount of files to keep track of for only 10 projects being worked on. Naturally, labeling things by file name isn't enough, you need visual aid and therefore we went with a color system of folders using Smead Brights Folders. It helps you differentiate different projects in a stack of files quickly by color. You start to get used to what colors to look for instead of digging through names and titles and reference numbers. Its great! The quality of the folders is also top notch. It seems like they can take a beating in any fast paced office environment. Don't work too fast though, you might give yourself a paper cut. Kidding. :) Great product, definitely would get more when needed.

We buy the 100 count box of these all the times (not just yellow but blue, green, purple, manila, etc) We tried the reinforced tabs but the tabs are short and get lost in the file cabinets. The regular ones and taller but they do have a tendency to bend some if you are not careful. Out of all the folders we have used though these are still the best and the most affordable for the amount you get in the box.

Smead file folders come in an array of colors, they are strong and provide consistant premium quality. I find them very helpful in organizing dfferent groups of expenses. I use red for medical, blue for dental, yellow for school, etc. Then I use colored labels blue for Bobby, Green for Greg and Red for me. the colored filed folders help me with quick filing and the colored label helps me locate at a glance the person's folder I am looking for.

I enjoy using Smead Products because it allows you to color code all departments. When I have some information on my desk in a blue folder I know its for the healthy homes department. When its red I know which department it corresponds with. Smead is the best because of the level of variety they offer.

Love the file folders in "Jewel Tones"!! They are sturdy and hold up well after many uses. I LOVE that they come in more subtle colors as I was looking for something different than the plain primary colors and didn't want such bright tones. These folders are sturdy and built with quality. The variety of colors helps organizing categories in the office much easier. Perfect height of the tabs allows for easy viewing of titles when filing in cabinets. I would definitely recommend these folders to businesses as well as individuals at home trying to be organized with filing documents and mail.

Smead Cutless File Foldes

I love file folders. Everytime I print anything, write anything, collect anything...I think of those objects like brain food, and on the run you put food on a paper plate or in a bag to keep it safe. Smead file folders are mypaper bags for my brain food. My favorite way to hold papers is in the bold colors of these smead file folders, so my brain food stays fresh and safe, and bright and cheery at the same time.

We use Smead file folders in all departments of our company. We never use any another kind. We found that our file folders needed to be sturdy and be able to stand-up to years of use. No other company's product passes this test. This is why we stay with Smead.

Super Duper Purple in a 3rd Grade Classroom!
Your purple file folders have always been a staple in my classroom. They not only meet an elementary teacher's budget needs but my students have always enjoyed their purple privacy shields! I teach middle school writing, and the folders hold the students' writing samples and handouts. The folders are also easy to write on and the students love to personalize their folders with their names. I chose the purple ones because it's a dark enough purple for the boys, and what middle school girl doesn't like purple?!

Every year I use and reuse these sturdy folders. I am particularly fond of green since that is our school color. These folders last; students use them in class and even take them home. While I have reused most for going on five years, I always like to buy new ones for the students. Would not be without them! Would not buy another brand either!!

Multi-Colored File Folders Help Organize
The assorted color file folders have allowed me to organize in several ways. One is that I can make one color a certain category or type to easily find that category. Another is by using the colors in a sequence allows me to search for something that much easier. I am sure there many more ways that I just haven't figured out yet. Great value and multiple uses. My Favorite Smead Product
My favorite Smead product is the green File Folders. These are my overall favorite product because the are durable, inexpensive, and overall great for organizing. In my experiance of working for one of my favorite teachers, my least favorite task was organizing papers until I purchased the Green Smead file folders and it soon was my favorite because the folders were so durable and lasted for a very long time. With 100 per box each student had there own file and it ended up being so much easier to do my filing. So, when I had the Smead folders I couldn't stop there! Now that teacher has a whole room full of Smead products, and it all started with those file folders!

I bought these folders to use in my classroom. The colors are bright and the folders are sturdy (especially after laminating them for student use). I now have a relatively inexpensive organization method for literacy center activities. The students use the colors to help identify the type of work that they will find inside! I work in a construction office and we use colored folders to organize the massive amounts of paperwork we handle on a daily basis. When we have hundreds of jobs in progress at the same time the colored folders really help us keep the jobs organized by type of job and area. Couldn't imagine having our office organized without colored folders. Would be nice if the folders came pre-sorted!

I have used Smead 1/3 cut file folders for our home filing system for the last 3 years. The tabs are large enough to write on without being to much. I am one to never be afraid of color so when I saw these Red folders on sale I said, "what a great buy and the color was amazing"! That was last year and I've continued since. I've used cheaper brands and they just are not worth it. They tear and are just too thin. Smead brand is well worth the price even if they are regularly priced or on sale. I will never go to any other brand again. I am thinking about getting a different color though, ya know just to switch it up a little...LOL

Great organizing product for filing system
I recommend these file folders to my clients to categorize their filing system since they come in several colors, including bright colors (if they like color-coding). They are sturdy and cost-effective and can be conveniently be picked up at a local office supply store.

Organization: One Student at a Time
I am a nurse in the school setting and it seemed that student's medical information was filed somewhat haphazardly. It was decided to use the green file folders to organize and file all the students' medical information. I LOVE the folders! It makes it so much easier when I need to look back a couple of school years to research something. Each student has their green folder neatly filed away. There are certain requirements as to how long information is kept and this makes it extremely easy to distinguish the medical information from the student's educational records. I would recommend this product to everyone and being able to get specific colors is also wonderful!

In Home Office and traveling
I am a very busy Clinical Lead for a pharmaceutical company. I am not only responsible for a large area of the country, but have many projects on a weekly basis. While I have files on my laptop, i am an ORGAINIZING FREAK. I take my files along on the plane, across country and to my meetings. Without Smead file folders, I would be sunk. I choose them over generic brands because they are strong, hold up under horrendous conditions in my briefcase, take a lot of punishment on a plane, taxis, shuttles and in hotels. where I tend to toss them onto the desk. The Joy of Filing With Blue
Our department at work has 3 colors of folders, but blue has always been my favorite. I like the way the folders look in the hanging files. They are easy to label and are thick enough to stand up straight for easy access. Even when I have to look back several years to find something that has been filed, I can easily see what month that I need, I have been using this brand of folder for 19 years and I have always been pleased with the quality and durability. I would recommend this folder to anyone who needs to file papers, whether it is at home or at work.

Red file folders-Reading (because the words read & red are close in spelling) Orange file folders-Grammar/Writing (orange is close to red) Pink file folders-Spelling/Phonics (pink is another form of red) Yellow file folders-Math (it was a color left over) Green file folders-Science (I think of science associated with life and green) Blue file folders-Social Studies (I think of the blue earth & people around the world with blue) Gray file folders-Homework. (since homework covers all of the subjects, I picked gray as a neutral color) It is great to have my files like this so that I can go right to the subject & know where to find things! I also use a lot of folders for my classroom file folder center activities. I use the same color code for the files so the students know what subject they are-it helps to keep them organized.

When I opened my box of 100 blue 1/3-cut tab folders, I admit that I had preconceptions. I expected flimsy, forgettable folders. Imagine my surprise when I saw BOLD, ROBUST folders! These folders looked ready to file away both Rocky and Rambo! (Hey! those guys look kinda similar, don't they...?) Imagine my further surprise when on top of these folders was a small card. My mind was immediately drawn to "The Office", where Michael Scott's 'Golden Ticket' promotion goes wrong and gives the consumer an unrealistic discount. However, this card was NOT a foolish promotion that blatantly copyrighted a beloved children's movie, (though that tunnel-boat scene was messed up. For real.) instead it was an invitation to write a review for their product. And while I initially came here to try and win $100, in retrospect, I think that these Smead folders are truly top-notch. Jokes aside, they DID feel pretty thick and quality. I am satisfied.

Our office stops without these folders
We use these folders to organize all of our incoming jobs. In a graphic design firm, it is important for us to keep our jobs organized, especially when dealing with high-end clients and multiple vendors. If one of us is unable to get to the office supply store before we run out, the office comes to a standstill. Without the folders, we are unable to bill and file our jobs, and we can't have that! Just got a new batch of folders today, and our office is back to being a well-oiled machine.

I couldn't keep my workspace organized at home or on the job without Smead File Folders. The variety of colors available help me to color code different categories or sections. Tab cuts also allow you to find files easily...makes it difficult for files to hide. It would be spectacular if Smead could produce files in a variety of additional unique colors.

Durable and Worth Every Penny

The 1/3 cut letter size file folders are great for a multitude of projects. I find the 1/3 cut so much easier to label than the 1/5 cut. I also love the vibrant yellow - takes some of drudgery out of filing.

I don't understand how the question they are asking pertain to file folders such as my gear style and if I use these for car camping, climbing, mountaineering or at the beach, but for filing they are great. They are nice and heavy duty and a really pretty shade of purple.

We use the green folders strictly for individual construction jobs. If there is a green folder out, we know it's for a job. The green makes it easy to spot and means there is money involved! This has been our system for 20 years and Smead has been there with us the whole time!

First of all, for an office company, knowing whether I am a car camper or an avid adventurer seems strange.
Secondly, I ordered 3 tab file folders. Out of a hundred folders, one would expect 34 middle folders, 33 left folders and 33 right folders or some variation on that theme. Instead, I got 43 Left, 31 right and 26 Middle. Since I make the same set of folders for all my clients at one time, I expect to be able to have 100 folders in tab order: left, middle, right.
Just wondering what the thought process was behind this situation.

I used the "Brights Folders" while setting up a news filling system for my elderly mother-in-law (recently widowed). The colors have made it easy for her to see therefor easier for her to use.

I would continue buying this product.
I like so much this product; first for the quality of the material, second for the beautiful assorted colors, and third because I can use in different forms them. I use this product to archive documents, put in presentations, literature of our company, and training certificates.

I love the colorful files in my office and the colors make work more lively and fun. I can assign a color to specific tasks categories to keep my next task easy to find.

I bought 4 packages and there were 5 missing folders
I bought 4 packages of pastel file folders and was shorted 4 purple and 1 blue folder. I was not happy about that.

I use the Smead color folders to help organize my work. Could not survive without the different color folders. I use the bright yellow folders to send home with my clients with my business card attached. The clients can always spot the bright yellow folder and my business card which has generated a remarkable amount of return business and referrals.

I would buy this product again!
I purchased these folders for personal/home filing. I was really impressed with the five bright assorted colors, as well as their heavy duty quality. It would have been helpful if there had been self-adhesive pre-cut labels included with the box, but that certainly was NOT a deal-breaker for the value of the box of 100.

The Perfect File Folder to Present Awards
The orange manila folders are perfect for school use because black and orange are the school colors! When a student passes their Industry Certification, I print out their certificates and give to them in one of your orange folders. It is very impressive!
It also makes it easy for the high schoolers to take home their certificate in their book bags.

Used these file folders for years
I use the bright colors to brighten my day and I can more easily recognize where my file belongs or where it might be hiding sometimes. LOL
