Double Zipper Freezer Bags, 1 qt, 2.7 mil, 6.97" x 7.7", Clear, 9/Carton

I just bought a new bag of Ziploc Quart size freezer bags. The first bag out of the box was hard to open and also leaked at the corner of the seal. The bags as I used them felt thinner and I feel they are also harder to open than previously. I will be trying some other brands as I feel they are inferior to the old bags.

The easy open Ziploc bags rip really easily. Usually it is just one side of the zip top area, but occasionally the entire side rips out. Not one of my bags has stayed completely intact.

Every bag I have used has ripped. Many as you try to open them right out of the box. If you are lucky enough to get one open without ruining it you will the next time you try to open. What a frustratingId waste of money!!!! Send this one back to the drawing board!

As others have experienced I to have had 1 in 5 bags rip. And the ones that did work ripped after trying to reopen. Really only thing you can do is buy another product even if generic. Its not like I am gonna go back to the store with a bunch of ripped bags and ask for a refund. If its not broke don't fix it. Kinda like all my storage containers that because they wanna change the design I have 5 different lids to things that may or not fit.

Bought 2 boxes of 54 recently and none of them worked. The sides all rip a little or all the way down when you gently try to open them. These are supposed to be heavy duty freezer bags. That's why we pay extra money for them. I will be trying other brands. Plastic wrap would work better than these bags unless you want to duct tape all the edges. Grade F

love these bags - use them all the time for freezer & heavy duty storage for travel & camping. I have never had any problems with leakage.

My family calls me the queen of Ziplock bags, and containers. I use both all of the time. The new easy open tabs are not an improvement. They tear away, and leave you with less to grasp to open the bags. Please fix this soon.

The new "Easy Open Tabs" design feature makes the bags more difficult to open! When I go to open a brand new bag the tab rips 3 out of 5 times! This than makes it way more difficult to open! These bags need a redesign!

I bought these bags and I don't know why they improved to become a terrible product. Plastic is thinner and it took me 5 tries to zip close my quart size bag. This won't work for me when bagging up meats and sauce. I'm buying other brands now.

I could not get the air out of these bags to form a vacuum to store hamburgers in the freezer. These are flimsier plastic and I won't even get to see the benefit (if any) of the new tabs. I only used Ziplocs for the freezer because no other brand held up as well, but these tab bags are the worst

The new easy-open Ziploc bags seem to be made from thinner plastic and are not as durable. Also, the old closure mechanisms kept the bags closed more securely. I prefer the old style bags and hope Ziploc will consider going back to that.

The zipper lock on this product tears apart. I can take a new one out of the box and when I open it, it pulls apart. Or if I've stored some in one of the bags, when I go to re-open it, it tears apart. I love the idea of the tab feature, but the locking section needs to be dealt with...period.

I agree with a previous comment about the easy open tabs on the freezer bags. As careful as I have tried to be, every single bag has ripped, usually on one side of the zipper. I have always used Ziploc, but I am afraid these just don't measure up!!

I just purchased a new box of Ziplock quart freezer bags, so that I could freeze the 40 lbs of berries my daughter and I picked... I was saddened to see that the plastic is thinner and that the bag is slightly shorter, but what really upset me is that the seams ripped out. Please go back to the old style or improve these new ones so that I can trust them again.

I have used nothing but Ziploc Freezer bags for many years. I purchased these Quart freezer bags and found the quality to be what you would expect with a very cheap off-brand. The bags leak and get pin-holes in them. They do not seal well and they are very thin. I have never minded paying a higher price for Ziploc brand products because of the quality, but, I will not purchase any other Ziploc products until the quality gets better.

I have been buying this ubiquitous product for years and while I may have occasionally run into 1 out of 50 that had difficulty opening, at least they all opened and reclosed. Such is not the case for the "improved design" which routinely results in the new tab ripping off from the bag rendering opening nearly impossible. I'll come back to these if they "re-improve", but for now your competitor gets my business.

Disappointed to find out ziploc freezer bags are poor quality now. No sense spending more for ziploc brand when I can get the same sub-standard quality in a house-brand. These new freezer bags are similar in quality as the storage bags.

I bought a box Sept 4th bagged hamburger and pork loin cuts and today the 5th they already have the little crystals on them and 2 packages already taste like the freezer first time it's happened I love this brand they're great they licking in everything don't break on me but the one time I put meat in bags instead of leaving it in the original package it's just my luck

These bags are sturdy and reliable. I have never had problems with leaks. I even use them occasionally in the refrigerator for storing highly fragrant foods since the extra thickness of the bag keeps all odors within! Love the new easy open tabs.

Ziploc freezer bags are my go to bags. They don't leak and seal easily. No issues with Ziploc.

I love the size of these bags to help me make smaller meal packages. The zip loc worked perfectly and I had no problems sealing it with my arthritic hands. I looked back in my freezer and the food items still look great.

I always buy Ziploc storage bags. I like the quality of the bags and the variety of sizes available. The freezer bags are sturdy and hold up well. I have never had a problem and use Ziploc bags for everything from food to packing items when traveling.

The Easy Open Tabs work great in a hurry and are a special bonus for my kids at lunchtime when I pack their snacks. Easy Open works great!

These medium bags are just right for so many things. I have frozen corn that I cut off the cob; works perfectly!!!

We bought these bags and the first one I was impressed w the new easy open top but after the first one, I have ripped every other down the side. The seams on the side are quite weak. I will rip one, have to toss it then grab a new one so I went through a box quickly. Not impressed.

Received these bags in the mail and just love them. The quality is exceptional, thick and just dependable. I trust all my food that I make in them, and that is saying a lot, with the price of food and the love put into the preparation.

I like the size because I use the portion control method for grilled chicken breasts for my salad lunches. I freeze 1 cooked breast in a bag and place in the fridge overnight from the freezer. It seals well and I have no problems.

I love zip loc! Much better than store brand. They are easy to fill, and they zip closed with no extra, pinching to make sure they're really closed. No leaks! I freeze extra garden produce, and these keep them fresh.

These are thick high quality bags which seal well and do not break easily.

I have been using various re-sealable bags for years to store left-overs and partially used frozen items when a larger container is too much. I have been using Ziploc brand freezer bags and was thrilled to see the new, easy open design. It can be difficult at times to open freezer bags because they get slippery and you just can't get a good grip. The new, easy open tabs make it much easier to find the opening and then actually open the bag, even straight out of the freezer.

This bag has a wonderful grip and seals tight.the grip is easy to grab and the seal does not separate

I really like the new and improved ziploc. I like how it is much easier to get it open due to the tab on the top of the bag. It is really strong and leak proof.

These bags are good for storing leftovers in the freezer.

This model of Ziploc tears easily at top when opening, also had to continually check to make sure the seal was good.

The bags were reliable in the past, but no more. Now they tear easily when trying to open if you actually pull on the tab. Then you have to pull from the sides and hope the bag doesn't rip open. Truly bad.

I have arthritis in both wrists and have had a serious problem opening zipper bags. Since I purchased ziplock with the easy open tabs feature I have no pain when I open the bags and can easily open the bags now when it was extremely difficult before.

I bought these bags with the "new" Easy Open Tabs thinking cool. But now I am bummed. The first time my bag leaked I thought it was a one time thing. But now I have had 4 bags leak from this box. And after looking online, this seems to be an occurring thing with the new design. I also miss the thickness of the bags. That is why we have always bought Ziploc: for the thickness and great seal. We defrost meat all the time because we buy meat in bulk. We may have to start experimenting with other brands :-(

I have used these bags for many years, but the last 2 boxes I have bought are of very poor quality. They rip when you try to open them or if you do manage to get them open without tearing down the side, they are very difficult to seal.

I just bought my first Ziplock Easy Open quart freezer bags. I really love the new easy open top. With my poor eyesight at times, this is a real win for me and people like me. Yes the sides of the bags sometimes open, but I have taken to using these bags for non-liquid items. With just the 2 of us, buying in bulk helps and these bags will be used daily. "Good Work!" to your designers.

The idea of the offset opening is great but 1 out of every three bags rips at the seal. Disappointing.

Bought these quart freezer bags with the nice new easy open tabs at on them, however the first 3 or 4 I opened, tore the side seam when I tried opening them slow and easy it worked, fine I figured it out... When I went to reopen the ones that I had work the seam split in between the seals leaving me to cut the bags open. Good thick material, easy open tabs, bit somebody has got to figure out how to make the seams stronger. Until then I will not buy them.

OMG - These new style freezer bags are TERRIBLE! For decades I did not mind spending the extra cost for ziplock because the quality was far superior to other brands on the market. These new ones ALWAYS split along the sides. I can't trust these bags anymore. I have never contacted a manufacturer before to complain, but I have to do so with this latest change. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD STYLE!

Really disappointed in the poor quality control on these new-style bags. Five out of the first six bags I pulled out of the box leaked at the corner, below the zipper seal. Like a pinhole leak. I've used the Ziploc quart sized freezer bags for years and have been pleased with them - until this new version with the easy open tab. The bags tear at the corners so easily it's ridiculous. Even when you're trying to be careful (knowing the tearing issue) they can still tear. I'm very disappointed in this product and will buy another brand when I run out this time.

I have always purchased ziplock bags because they have always been worth the price. However, the latest design is horrible. Right out of the box, the first 5 bags ripped as I attempted to open them. Those I managed to open without ripping, have ripped the next time I opened them. Basically, the entire box of bags is unusable. Very disappointing. I will be using another brand from now on.

Tight seal, seems tighter than prior design but reopening bag at least half of time causes side seams to give way from top downward. In all tab does not prove easier to open plus results in increased bag waste. Go back to prior design. We use about 250 bags/year.

These new easy open tab bags rip 75% of the time I've used them (literally). I've bought more than one box in case it was a fluke and had same results. Plan to ask for money back from Ziploc.

I bought a new box of the Quart Ziploc Freezer Bags about a week ago and they are not up to the standards I'm used to with Ziploc bags. They do not have the Tabs I see mentioned here, so maybe they are old and were warehoused somewhere too hot (?) because all the zippers have a pronounced curve to them. You can only seal them by pinching different spots along the zipper and when you finish, then try to close them running your fingers hard along the zipper. Some still did not seal after several minutes of trying. I regretted trying the brand again. I have used Ziploc bags for decades, these were the first defective ones I've used.

I've purchased Ziplock for years & always loved their product ..UNTIL ...the most recent batch (quart & gallon) seem to pull apart at the top & it makes me unsure of its seal .

I am very disappointed with the news"EASY OPEN" bags. I either can't open them at all, or they rip at sides or top, or both!!! Bring back the old bags!!! The name of the new bags is rather ironic!! I have thrown away totally unused bags!

I've been using Ziploc bags forever. Recently I purchased a box of the Freezer Quart size--38, with the easy open tabs. What Ziploc forget to put on the box was "easy open side"--the first four I used came apart on the side and were useless. This is a horrible decline in quality. A waste of bags plus unreliable for protecting food or whatever. This is NOT S. C. Johnson quality.

I bought 2 large packages and both boxes of bags did the same thing. There must be some kind of defect, because the larger size bags I also purchased, did not rip down the side.

I recently bought this item and am disappointed with the "improvement." The new bags tear easily down the side seam when opened. The new "Easy Open Tab" style is unusable. The tab easily rips off before the bag will open. Scissors/tweezers are needed to pry the remains apart. Have seen the problem for months with bags from different sources. Doesn't seem like a bad batch. Can't find the normal bags (without the Easy Open Tabt). Can never buy Ziplocs again if they have the "Easy Open Tab".

The new redesigned bags with the easy open tab are horrible. Do not waste your money. I have been a SC Johnson Ziploc fan forever, but no longer. Generic bags work better and are more durable. Look at the reviews SC Johnson has a major issue and they seem to be doing nothing about it. and the failures happen on all sizes of the bags!

Please bring back the original Ziploc. The Easy Open Tabs are not "easy" and they do not function well. I don't want the slider and I don't want the tabs; just keep the original bags the way they were. I've started buy another brand.

I have bought 2 boxes of quart freezer bags and 3 boxes of gallon freezer bags. The "ziplock" sealing strip was unattached on over half of them out of each box. This product used to be great but I will never buy them again. Waste of money

I bought a family size box Ziploc quart bags. On half of them, Ziploc is not even attached to the rest of the bag on one side. this of course, makes them unsuitable for anything but immediately throwing away.

Had to go through 15 bags to find 8 that would not leak at sealed seem at zipper. Last time I lost half a wild turkey breast and have a heck of a mess to clean up in bottom of freezer ! Stick to garbage bags cause that's all you are producing these days !

new qt bags do not seal properly or easily. one blue zipper detaches. from all the reviews you have major quality issues. i don't want apologies or excuses. own the problem and tell me what you are doing to correct it. i have purchased nothing but ziploc for 20+ years and i will no be buying them again.

Love the new Easy Open Tabs! Was having harder and harder time getting bags opened initially. This makes it a snap!

I residently getting pork chops ready to freeze using your bags.  I wrote on the outside and was trying to open the top to put them in. It was very difficult, one wouldn't open at all and the top tore, in another one the blue strip came completely off!  As you can see I still rate the product with 5 stars because they are the best for freezer but this has become a new concern.  These are the ones with the smartzip plus top.

I specifically bought ziploc brand freezer bags thinking that they would be of a better quality since I like to marinate my meats in them. They are good overall but I'm not even half way through the box and already experienced three leaking bags! The first time I opened by lunch bag at work only to find a puddle of juices from my fruits sitting at the bottom. I thought I might have punctured it somehow but after the third time when my marinade leaked all over my fridge, I realized it's probably not me..They look to be leaking from the bottom corner seal. The seal on top is great and I ended up just storing them upside down instead. Just hate the leaky surprises.

The bag does not close properly.  You zip it closed and it isn't secured, it literally pulls apart as if unsealed.  I've used it with freezing pork chops, luckily I had individually wrapped each chop in plastic wrap so they were protected.  I was very disappointed, and now I have a better portion of a box left.

I use quart and gallon size to freeze steaks and lamb chops. After thawing I use the same bag for marinating. The bags are very bad about leaking at seams.

The plastic feels thinner and the opening tears.  Your product was superior before. Now it's a waste since I end up throwing away torn bags.

I have always used and trusted Ziploc. I do a lot of canning and freezing of my garden products and have used Ziploc  in freezing and storing,, I had a very recent bad experience with the Ziploc Quart freezer bags, when opening them the bag came apart just below the zipper part of the bag,It appears the bags (39) of them from a box of 54 were defective, I was getting a little irritated. I would still use this product, but am a little nervous now.

We always purchase Ziploc products because you generally know you get good quality. We purchased these bags for the first time and they are awful! The sides beneath locking section tear every time we use them. They are very difficult to close back up once you have opened them as well. These were a complete waste of money and total disappointment

My whole life (I am 64), I have bought the brand Ziploc bags in many sizes.  Even the huge ones for packing clothes etc.  I am so dissatisfied with all of the Ziploc bags (quart, gallon, freezer, regular).  I have wasted so much money on these only to find as soon as I go to open the locking part it separates & rips apart from the bag.  I maybe have 1-2 bags if that from any one box that opens fine the 1st time, but then the next time I use that lock it doesn't work at all now & the bag rips again.  I need to find a different brand of bags that hold up.  I have bought the Ziploc brand from at least 6 different stores now in addition to buying them in bulk at large chain stores.  Bottom line these bags are junk!!  It is ridiculous that we the consumer have to spend top dollar for these bags that do not work.  I will be contacting customer service again.  I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THESE BAGS!

Get your quality control up to snuff. Your quart freezer bags continue to leak and you do nothing about it !!

I love the sandwich-size bags and the gallon-size, but for some reason EVERY TIME I try to open a quart-size bag, the plastic rips along the seal. Super frustrating because then there's nothing to grip on to open the bag. I have to wedge my nail in the actual seal to open it.

Seriously, who did the product testing on this version? I didn't used to mind paying more for the Ziplock brand but these constantly rip out when opening them, either on the top above the "zip" or if you get past that, the side rips out.  I would love to attach a photo, if you need it.

I agree with the other reviewers who have mentioned that ziplock brand bags have declined in quality.  They used to be the only brand that I would buy.  In the last year, I've had so many tear that I have started shopping around for alternatives.

I bought the Ziplock Easy Open Tabs- 19 Freezer Quart.  Everytime I opened the seal, the entires side rips.  I had to throw an an entire box due to this!

I am old enough to remember the days before freezer bags had such tight seals. I know for quite a while in my childhood freezer bags were closed by the metal and paper twistie ties or I even knew a few people who used the wax coated boxes. You can be sure those boxes didn't seal squat out let alone any air.  It was not at all uncommon to have items with freezer burn and to open and spill in the freezer. It was just a completely different world.  Now today with the tight seal it's SO much better. It's not just for freezing. I wouldn't even know where to begin to list the number of items I have placed in these bags. I just grab for the bags in the pantry and store cake decorating supplies, leftovers, food from open boxes and bags, it just goes on and on and on and that doesn't even include the countless items for 50+ years from every corner of the house and for every use imaginable that I've grabbed Ziploc bags.  

I learned long long ago that it NEVER pays to try and save a few pennies and purchase unknown brands of much cheaper products. This is definitely one area where you get what you pay for. I've never worried about the bag breaking or having problems. I've used these bags countless times when I've traveled. In my "past life" I traveled every month for my paid employment, for a hobby job on the side, for personal travel, for church and countless other things. I actually had a "to go" bag packed all the time with duplicates of all the toiletries used at home in makeup, haircare, bathing, and so forth. Everything but medication could be duplicated and I stored these items in Ziploc bags. I used the bags for dirty laundry, for unmentionables, for food, you name it.  

I've stored photographs, important papers, you name it, if it could fit into a size of Ziploc bag, its been in there.  The small snack size Ziploc bag was one of the greatest creations the company ever did. That small little size is IMMENSELY useful. Anytime I have a small amount of something to store I find myself reaching for these size bag. I have probably used it for everything BUT snacks.  Several years ago my brother gave me the bag sealing machine for Christmas. Once I sat down and figured out how to use it, it's changed my life.

I do an INSANELY large amount of baking for others in addition I now must eat gluten free in my life. If you know anyone with Celiac you know they have between 15 and 20 different flours on hand for baking and cooking gluten free.  A bad characteristic of many of these flours (since many are based on nuts) is that they go stale or rancid very quickly. I was taught years ago by my mother to store flour and nuts and a vast number of other items in the freezer.  The bag sealer has been an God Send for me for freezer storage of these flours both gluten and non-gluten. Whole wheat flour goes rancid 3 times faster than regular AP flour. I keep everything in these bags. Pretzel sticks, crackers, potato chips, cereals, and on and on and on.  I don't know what I would do without all of my Ziploc products.

What happened to the quality of ziplock bags? I used to be able to depend on these bags to hold up. This new design for quart bags easily split on the sides when you open them making them useless. I would say at least 50% of the bags did this. That's what I would expect from a cheaper brand, not EXPENSIVE ziplock bags! I won't be buying this brand again.

Good bag, however they should make the label a square and remove the writing on the label area. We use these bags at an Engineer firm and the reduced label area is not functional.

I love Ziploc, I think they're the best bag out there. But every time I put meat or a liquid in the freezer bag and then into the freezer. I always need to put them in a bowl when defrosting in the refrigerator or my fridge will fill up with liquid from the bag. Wish they would fix this

I usually buy ziploc because I know they are a good reliable bag but the last box I baught were aweful! Every time I opened one the sides busted out or they broke as soon as I sealed them! Unfortunately this kinda gave me a bad taste in my mouth about buying these again. I don't mind spending the money on a decent product but I refuse to throw my money away and that's exactly what I did when I bought these bags!!

I have used Ziploc Freezer bags (both quart and gallon size) for many, many years.  But, your newly designed ones rip at the sides.  Today is the second time one of these bags ripped at the side (exact same place).  Once closed, the bags are so tightly sealed, that when finally opened, it tears at the side.  Great seal, but the side seam needs to be more tightly sealed.

I've gotten Ziploc Brand before but don't know if they've changed the "zipping" mechanism or what but it's extremely hard and frustrating to get them sealed.

My wife and I have been satisfied customers of Ziploc products for many years. Over the past few months we have experienced a problem with quart freezer bags splitting at the sides when the bags are opened.  It appears the product quality is not what it used to be.

I bought a box of these freezer bags a couple months ago and froze 5 ponds of hamburger meat, 3 pounds of ground turkey, and a few steaks... Yesterday I went to use a pound of hamburger and it was freezer burnt... Upon inspection of all of my meat it was ALL freezer burnt... I had to throw it all away... That was a LOT of money... How can these be labeled as "freezer bags" if you can't freeze things in them???

I buy Ziploc for the quality and convenience. The new style is not as easy to open/close and it seems to be lower in overall quality. I will choose a different brand over Ziploc without the tab.

I thought it was just the quart size that was not sealing but it is the gallon size too.  I pressed all air out and used a straw to suck out air and as soon as I closed up bag I saw bag rein flats. I repeated the process with two more bags and had same thing happen. I looked close and noted small "X" like marks going across and am wondering if this mark is causing the lose of seal. Based on reviews I have just read I am not the only one having this issue. Company needs to figure out what is going on and fix it! Until I see better reviews I will not spend the extra money on a product that doesn't work as it should! Very disappointed!

This is the last time I buy ziploc freezer bags, the "easy open" is a joke. The blue tab separates from the zipper and then try to get the bag open.

I bought 2 packs of (19x) quart freezer bags, 1st box had 2 bags with pin holes the 2nd box over half of them. I purposely bought Ziplock brand because I wanted quality and thats exactly what I did not get.

On a fourth box and when new, these two sizes of freezer bags have ripper apart when opened for the first time.  I gently opened them and they are all ripping.  My daughter commented on this too.  Batch QA for items sold here in WI?

Theses bags have ripped one every seam possible. What happened to the quality?

Keep getting bags that leak and not at the zipper either.

Our family, ourselves and 2 sisters and families spend a month every year on the lake catching fish we filet and freeze for the year. We have ALWAYS bought Ziploc only because they did not leak out in our freezer when put up to freeze. This year we have ALL had problems. I finally realized this week that you HAVE to be sure first zipper is sealed, second one doesn't matter, there is a hole on both ends between the zips where liquid leaks out.

I had been a faithful Ziploc user for years... but NO more!  The bag design has changed.  The new bags are thinner and permit moisture, which lead to freezer burn.  The seal and top sides easily tear, making the bags unusable.  I've had to throw several bags away after only one use.  Please revert back to the old version.  Put QUALITY back into your bags and Ziploc name!

I have been using the ziploc freezer bags for years to split big packs of meat into portions and it has been working great until recently. The last batch I purchased was a triple pack of 38 bags each pack, and all of them have not been locking properly. I have had a whole bunch of expensive meat get freezer burnt due to the faulty bags.

Having problems even thinking about buying them again, seeing as they rip when you open them up.
Never had this issue before so assuming its a bad batch of new and improved, but after reading the reviews I'm having my doubts.

I purchased a box of Large and a box Medium Slider Freezer bags. I used them to store bulk quantities of meat for the winter. I found in both products that the bags leaked. This is not acceptable product quality when you pay extra for the Ziploc tradename.

What happened Ziploc?  We never buy the store brand as they are made poorly.  Every one of these bags rip when you attempt to open them.  Go back to your quality standards please.  Switching until you fix.

The half gallon 30 bags box that I bought has holes on every single bag. I have attached a photo.

At least 2 bags in the box (Easy Open) 19 count did not have the lock runner on one side of bag. Have never had this before. Quality control needs to be improved!

Ziploc changed the bags and they are cheaply made now, ripping at the edges of the seal. Will find alternate and more environmentally friendly ways of storing food.

I purchased a box of quart size freezer bags and they are HORRIBLE! I don't know if it is a bad batch or what but every time I try to open them, the top rips off and the ziploc part stays shut. I have tried everything and I am furious that I bought a big box and have only had 2 of them somewhat open correctly. Easier opening...NOT AT ALL!

I'm so happy with these easy-open Ziploc quart freezer bags.  I have all kinds of trouble trying to open regular sandwich/freezer bags.  Just noticed these easy-opens recently and bought them.  Thank goodness y'all made them.  Very easy to open.  I'm happy with the bags themselves, too.  No complaints.

The last box of bags I bought were terrible quality! The tops tore the first time I tried to open each one. When I finally figured out how to get them open, I then had the same problem on the flip side when I went to use what was inside. Ended up having to just cut the entire top off!

the seal was excellent but the new tab part was terrible -- ripped away from bag making it useless

Did you change the thickness of the plastic ?
The bags rip very easily when we try to open them after taking them out of the freezer.

My go to freezing bags,never disappointed.

My wife grew up on a farm, so she simply doesn't see not using Ziploc bags many, many times.
She puts the bags open-down, so the water drains out the bottom. That's the traditional way.
I put the bags open as wide as possible, in the sun if possible, since I see evaporation as faster than drip-drying. I call my way the scientific way.
Do you have a professional, manufacturer opionion or research on which is best for drying?
It would settle a long-running difference of opinion in our house.

I have used 1000's of these bags to store miscellaneous items as well as food, and I cannot even get these open without tearing them to shreds. I have tried numerous ways to open them to prevent tearing them. but nothing works. They really have a great seal, unfortunately it is stronger than the tabs that as supposed to allow me to open them. Please either make the bags stronger or go back to the original design, or I will have to move to another brand. Something has changed with the ziploc freezer quart bags easy open tab type. Now many, many of the bags tear, with or without food in them, when opening the bags. It's very frustrating when you pay money for a brand that has always meant high quality but now they appear to have decided to go with cheaper plastic and a different design that will force me to try alternate brands.
