It will cut!

Decent paper cutter. I cut a lot paper for my art students so we put it through the paces. Time will tell how it holds up though. Just some initial thoughts: Handle is built really close to the shearing edge which is nice. Very minimal gap and the paper doesn't slip while cutting. The finger guard is a little to low for cutting 10 sheets of paper. I comfortably cut 6-8 with ease. Very light weight with decent structural plastic underneath for strength.The centimeter/inch ruler about 5 inches from the top doesn't really make sense though, I wish there was a ruler at the top and the bottom.

Great for small home crafts!

This guillotine trimmer is good for home craft and paper projects. I found that it works best with 5-7 sheets of standard computer paper at a time. The main problem for me the ruler, but I just measure by grid marks and it makes even cuts. I will use it for making my own gift tags.
