    love it
I have never had much luck with cling wrap but the press and seal works great. I have loved it from the first time I tried it and have told a lot of people to try it. I have found it sticks to most any surface. It keeps things sealed great.

    PRESS ' N SEAL
I have always like this press 'n seal ...the last roll I bought has been terrible. I can not roll it ... it is like the roll is melted together. I can not remember where this was purchased. I have used this product since the beginning when it was introduced. The roll is not up to GLAD standards.P

    Nice Seal and good looking
I loved the cling power. It worked very easily. I had no problem with the packaging. I find many products with similar packaging tend to come apart at the sides, so I just keep adhesive tape in my kitchen drawer to re-attach the sides and that does the trick. I got the seasonal package with a snowflake design on the wrap and that was very attractive. I would love to see other designs throughout the year.

    Product seals well
I think this is a great product. It was sturdy and it did a good job sticking to itself and whatever else. Like many of those indicated here however, the cutter was horrible. There was no way to get it out of the package and cut something to the right length like regular plastic wrap. Short of using a pair of scissors, which was not particularly convenient, there was no way to get any length using the cutter bar. So while I like the product, I simply won't buy the it again because the cutter is the key to the whole experience. Too bad. Convenience however is key.

    Too difficult to use
It is very hard to pulll out the amount of sealer that you want. I find I have to pull so hard that the box comes apart. Then, the cutter is terrible. Usually by the time I tear off the sheet, it has all stuck together. What a shame because it holds so well.

    BEST COVER EVER!!
Absolutely love this product. It seals so airtight that food stays fresh 2-3 times as long as it would with other methods. I have even cut an avocado and wrapped the other half and it kept for 3-4 days. Unbelievable - I tell all my friends and family you HAVE to buy this product!

    Used to LOVE this stuff
I used to love Press and Seal, but the affair is over and I will not be buying it ever again. The packaging is now so flimsy that the whole thing falls apart in three or four uses making the rest of the wrap impossible to use. Without the ability to tear and cut the stuff, it's worthless. Fix the packaging, even if it costs more because using 2 or 3 strips is the worst waste I have seen in a very, very long time.

    Fnatastic Product-Very Poor Packaging
I LOVE this product-but the Packaging is amazingly Substandard-it falls apart after 1 or 2 uses.
    Uses:
    -Great for food-adheres to everything
-Protect floors when painting base boards
-Protect ceiling paint when painting ceiling trim-so much easier than tape!
-"Shrink wrap" shoes for both moving and travelling
-Keep paint fresh in between coats
-Leak protection for travelling with liquids
    -Leak protection for shipping liquids
And these are only a few times where Press 'n Seal has come in handy and performed flawlessly!

Please fix the packaging-if nothing else than to eliminate the irony.....

    More than food storage!
I am a retired Mechanical Engineer and when I found this product I thought, "This can have more important uses than just preserving food!"
    - Most important use for me, I am allergic to most adhesives that are used on skin. I found that out the hard way after my first back surgery. When removing the burning, itchy tape from the area, the skin would slough off with it. The doctor I had at that time must not have noticed because he wrapped the area again with another kind of tape which just made matters worse. That was when I remembered Press-n-Seal. I held the start of the roll on my stomach as my husband pulled the roll around me like a belt. When he made the 2nd circuit it stuck to itself and to areas of my skin not damaged. Since it would still let in air but kept the incision clean, the area healed much faster than it would have done without it. Once air got to the tape damaged area, the itching and swelling went down there as well. From that time on whenever I needed another surgical procedure done, I come home and whip out the Press-n-Seal.
    My other uses for it:
    - The Press-n-Seal can be used to keep a cast or bandage dry during bathing. Less expensive than those cast covers for the same purpose.
    - I put a sheet of Press-n-Seal over the whole of the inside of my jewelry roll when we travel. No more lost earrings!
    - I put a sheet of it down on my counter when kneading sticky dough or dipping brownie pops or candy into candy coatings. Nicer than wax paper than leaves a wax residue on the counter.
    - I put a sheet of it on my studio table while I am using alcohol inks or any of the messy art supplies used in multimedia crafting.
    - I use pieces of Press-n-Seal as vellum to make misty, spooky or glass appearances over greeting card designs. I can press the pieces down onto card stock and even run it through my die cutting machine.
    - I wish this stuff was around when my kids were small! I run a long sheet down on ANY surface where my grand kids are going to be playing with their crayons or markers. I no longer have to use goo-gone and a fingernail to pry up heavy crayon wax off of the coffee table!

Quality Product, Questionable Seal After The First Time
We really like this product and prefer it to any traditional cellophane wrap from any manufacturer. It seals better, it sticks better, it keeps food fresher.

The one issue I have is that after that first use, we rarely have good results sealing the food back up without using a different section of wrap. The first use is great; however, if the sealed food is reopened for an additional serving, the same sheet of wrap does not stick very well if you try to reuse it over the same dish without getting a new section off of the roll. Once that seal has been broken, it seems to never stick a second time, certainly not sufficiently to keep the food fresh. Still Glad Press N Seal wrap is superior to any regular cling wrap and we buy it exclusively now.

Very hard to tear off of the roll
GLAD changed the cutter teeth on the roll that are used to tear the Glad Press & Seal sheets off, from metal to plastic. The plastic does not work at all when it comes to tearing off a sheet. All it does is stretch out the wrap making it unusable.I used to love this product and I am so disappointed that GLAD has cheapened the cutter on the roll. I have to take the roll out of the box and cut it to the desired size with scissors. I hope that GLAD changes the cutter on it's GLAD Press and Seal rolls, otherwise I will change what I am buying.

    Good Stuff!
I use it for many things besides covering food.
Only thing I don't like about it is, when you get about 2/3 to the end of the roll and beyond both sides of it are sticky.

Glad Press & Seal is the BEST!
Glad Press & Seal is the only plastic wrap I use anymore. It provides a nice tight seal on my dishware without becoming loose like other wraps. I also like that its microwave safe. Being able to toss a covered plate or dish in the microwave for a quick reheat (without the messy splatter) makes it a breeze for clean up!

    I won't buy anything else!

    Really holds tight....
I have tried many different plastic wrap products over the past years, but they never have a good seal. Press and seal really does work. You just cover your dish and push it down around the edges and IT HOLDS. This is the best wrap I have ever used. It is also good in the microwave.

    Awesome product
i love Glad press & seal and use it almost every day because I have a ton of plastic storage containers of all sizes and can NEVER find the right lid of the container I want to use! So instead, I just throw some Glad press & seal on it and put it in the fridge! Saves me the time and frustration of looking for the lid!!

Great. Ist time you wrap, not very good reusable factor.
I really thoghi was great and convenient the 1st time I wrapped something. When I had totake some of the food out and rewrap the bwl, the Press N Seal was sticky and stuch to itself, not really the bowl anymore.

Nothing but good things to say!
I first tried Press'n Seal at a friend's house. It never dawned on me to buy it because it seemed unnecessary--like when remote controls first came out(as if we all couldn't get up off the couch to change the channel). However, once I tried it, I was impressed--it's easy to use, especially to reposition, and stays in place. It doesn't stick to itself like some brands of regular plastic wrap, so there's no time spent peeling stuck pieces apart. I love it, and would recommend everyone try it to see for themselves. It's a few pennies more, but those pennies can be made up for by reusing it(and yes, it still works if reused).

GOES FROM COLD TO MICROWAVE, WITHOUT ANT WORRIES.
YOU CAN PUT YOUR FRESH FRUIT, OR ANYTHING IN THE BAG AND IT SEALS SIMPLY, WITHOUT HAVING TO DOBLE CHECK IT. HEN YOU CAN PUT LEFTOVER IN THE FRIDGE AND THEN TAKE THM OUT AND PUT THEM RIGHT INTO THE MICROWAVE, THEN PRESTO DINNER IS READY, WITHOUT ALL THE POTS AND PANS AND OTHER UTENSILS YOU WOULD HAVE TO USE N THE OLD DAYS. WHEN YUR DONE JUST TOSS THE BAG, AND THAT IS SO TIME SAVING IT IS ALMOST UNBEILVABLE. I LOVE ALL GLAD PRODUCTS.

I had heard my dad and my aunt talk more than once about how I needed to get some Press n Seal as they watched me struggle with other plastic wraps. Finally I gave in and brought a roll home. I now know what they were talking about. Thanks Glad for such an awesome product. PS last time I noticed my dad had 6 rolls in his cabinet. Guess he wants to make sure he always has Press n Seal on hand!

The Only Cling Wrap I Use
Glad cling wrap is the only wrap I use. I am a baker and the cling wrap is my go to for keeping things sealed and fresh. I use it mostly on my fondant to store it along with the glad sandwich and freezer bags. It keeps the fondant fresh and allows me to store it for at least 30 days. The other brands usually allows air to seep in but glad cling wrap seals in the freshness. I also use this for breads and dips that I make. Very easy to use in the microwave as well to heat up dishes without making a mess.

Forget traditional plastic wrap...Press'n Seal is THE best!
I will never, ever use traditional plastic wrap again! I use Press'n Seal for all of my food wrapping needs. Seals fantastically! You don't need "extra" to wrap around the entire bowl/plate....just enough to make sure edges are covered! Plus, it's so much easier to handle! There are so many uses...my favorite (after food wrap) is to line my refridgerator shelves with it...once they become soiled just pull it off and start fresh!
Thank you, Glad, for creating this wonderful product :]

Like its namesake, press and seal!
I remember when Press'n Seal first came out and was impressed with its clinging abilities. To this day, I still use it to keep food fresh longer over saran wrap. Heck, I even found an ingenious use for it over my overfill drainer in my bathtub! I always have a roll in my house, because it's a great product to have for its main purpose (food) and multi-purpose too!

    Awesome product and life saver!!
I have tried many 'plastic wraps' that claim to keep food fresh and avoid spillage. I've got to say that none of them can hold a candle to Glad Press n seal. I have two teenage girls and they don't always pay attention to the goods in the back of my suv when asked. They are usually to busy listening to their ipods, etc.... I am so happy that I gave this product a try. We were on our way to a family reunion. I had several containers ( some with solid food and some with liquids) covered with Press n Seal. The trip wasn't long but we did cross several bumpy paths along our way. Several of the containers fell over or completely upside down. My kids, of course, said they were fine. I freaked!!! The carpet in my suv was safe as was the food. Nothing leaked, spilled or splattered! The day was great and the Press n Seal saved the day, and my life :)

I used to really like the product but the packaging makes it nearly impossible to use.
I thought this was a fabulous product and used to really like it. However, the last few boxes I have bought have been a disaster. The white holders do not stay in the box, so the roll will not stay in the box. It is nearly impossible to use the cutting edge to get a nice piece of the wrap that is not ripped. I wish that you would go back to the original packaging! I will probably stop buying it because it is no longer worth the extra price to get the better seal... Too bad - was a great product in the beginning.

    Plastic cutter failure
We have used Glad press n seal for a while now and have been very happy. That is up until now; you see the last two press n seals packages have failed to cut the sheets as designed. Please tell me that you will go back to the better cutters. Or is it the last two are only two in a million that fail. We do love the product and hope that this is only a fluke.

    Thank you

My husband could take a shower after surgery!
My husband had rotator cuff surgery recently. In the post-op instructions it said, "Do not shower until after your post-op appointment." That was 6 days away! Ugh! At the re-dressing appointment, the day after the appointment, the PA told us that Press and Seal had been used successfully by patients to keep the water off of the wound. We went home and very carefully gave him a shower with the Press and Seal protecting the shoulder wound. Voila! No moisture had penetrated or "sneaked under " the wrap. He happily and carefully showered daily after that. Thank you, Press and Seal!

Great Product terrible cutter on the box
I like the wrap sticks good for me , the dish or bowl even if it's cold the wrap still sttays tight but the cutter on the box just doesn't work! I usually end up getting a pair of scissors to cut it with.

    Great storing wrapp
When it came down to take down our artifical Christmas tree in January no one wanted to get in there & take down the ornaments and wrap them up and take apart the tree. My son got tired of his dad complaining about it so he went and took the Press 'n Seal and wrapped the tree and ornaments up all together in Press 'n Seal.

Congratulations! Your cutter is now useless!
You recently changed the cutter for this product and after many failed attempts I am deeming it useless. I have to drag out a pair of scissors every time I want to use the product. That is immensely inconvenient. Oh, btw...I was a professional baker for 4 years and I know my way around a kitchen. On the bright side...your product is spot on! :/ Can you please spare my family the bad words and mini temper tantrums I tend to throw when I have to wrap something in the kitchen and go back to the old cutter? I would appreciate it!

    wrap4*-cutting edge/box0*
I waited a long time before trying Press n Seal because of the higher price than regular Glad Wrap(which I have used forever). Finally, I broke down and bought my first box.The actual Press n Seal works fine, if you could get it to cut on the flimsy plastic cutter on the flimsy box lid edge.
I have to unroll it and cut it with a pair of scissors.
This stuff was supposed to make my life easier.
    Too bad it did not.

    Plastic Cutting Blade--Fail
I've never seen a plastic cutting blade before--totally unsuitable for its purposes.  This a design change that should never have left the test lab.

The product is excellent, but the cutter is the worse.\
However, it is bad in all Glad products.\

    Works great
I have bought Press 'n Seal whenever I could. I prefer the it over plastic wrap. I never have an issue with the cutting edge & it seals nicely to my items that I wrap. I will only buy Press 'n Seal now.

    Needs new packaging
I love this product. I hate the packaging. The box falls apart after the first use. Because of this the cutting edge doesnt work properly. I waste more of the wrap  then I use. From reading the comments  I see I'm not the only one with this problem. Please change your packaging!! Thank You

    101st Use for this product!
I use this product for many tasks around the house and have been very pleased. I have found use #101 which is completely out of the norm.  I recently had surgery and have three sets of stitches that I can't get wet.  I would normally use plastic wrap, but I used Press N Seal instead and it was perfect. I wrapped it around my leg, it clung to my skin perfectly and sealed it, keeping my stitches from getting wet in the shower. It was an awesome DIY.  Must buy more!!!  Love this product.

    Don't Buy
We all hate cling wrap.  We wanted to try this because of the new design.  The wrap is probably the best to manage that we have ever tried.  Unfortunately, the product is not usable.  The frustration factor attempting to use the box it comes in is beyond words.  A few times we have actually cut a piece and been able to use it.  Now we give up and go get a pair of scissors first.  Please do not buy it.  I just threw mine out the window.

Excellent product but dispenser is horrible!
I love this multi use product, but with all the comments about the bad dispenser I' really like to see Glad address the core problem and replace it with something that works instead of just saying they are sorry for the experience.  While I love the product my frustration with the dispense made we down rate it.

Great product, but the packaging is pathetic
We've been using this product for a long time and it is extremely useful for storing food in the refrigerator. However, the box makes it nearly impossible to cut the plastic without shredding it. The box lid isn't stiff enough to cut the plastic and it almost makes the product useless.

    So upset
It states on the packaging that this can be used on wood. We just moved and ran out of saran wrap to protect our furniture so we used this. What a huge mistake. It left a film all over my wood table and chairs. So now on top of the stress of moving to a new state and getting settled in, I have to figure out how to deal with this.

    Poor cutter design
I have used this product for many years and have loved it.  However, I have had major issues getting a section to cut off from the dispenser.  It seems that it has gotten flimsy and is pretty much useless.  I have stopped using it & have gone back to regular plastic wrap, wax paper and foil.

    Poor packaging
I bought this at a warehouse center in a 3 pack.  Opened the first one and you can not tear the plastic wrap off the roll.  The knife would not cut through warm butter.  I ended up wasting more then I used to cover bowls.  I now use a knife to cut the plastic when needed. Will not buy this again.

    Press n Seal
I bought this press n deal to seal my glass box where in I take my soups or sauces to work.\
I wanted to avoid the soups/sauces from sticking on the lid.the press n seal does not stick to the glass box.\
    \
Secondly the dispenser is not at all good .\
The wrap does not tear properly.\
    The edges are blunt .\
I tried a couple of times and then ended up throwing the press n seal.\
I wanted my money on the press n seal .\
Press n seal is expensive .\
    Please\
    Do not waste money.

    Lots of uses
I use Press N Seal for many different things around the house. I never had any problem tearing it off the dispenser. My daughter-in-law was hear for a birthday celebration, we were cleaning up and putting food away, and I got the Press N Seal out. She said she tried it, and can't cut it! It gets all jumbled up in a mess! She showed me, and it did. But them I did it, and it was fine! The observation we made: I'm left handed, and tear it the opposite way than she did as a right hander!

    So-So press n seal
This stuff was great at first. I use two layers to cover my large Platters and it used to stuck very well. Now-a-days it does not stick to itself at all, or to the platter very well. I thought it was just a "bad box" but the problem continues with new boxes. \
    \
Problem #2 is the stickyness it leaves behind!  I'd like to re-use my Platters but have not been able to get rid of the stickyness. Any suggestions would be welcome!\
    \
As far as the difficulty in cutting the wrap, I now use scissors

    My most-used kitchen tool
I can't believe how many uses I've found for this product - in the kitchen and home organization. A couple of my favorite ways to use it, is make a to-go cup with Press 'n Seal and a straw, or keep cookies super fresh by wrapping them individually.

    Unique Use
I have used Glad Press n Seal for a long time.  I love the fact that it stays put and provides a great seal. Recently I fell in the garden, and without going into the gory details, I ended up with 13 stitches in my leg.  Needless to say, the doctor told me to keep the wound dry when I showered for the first few days.  Eureka!  Press n Seal came to the rescue.  I wrapped my bandaged area on my leg with Press n Seal and the wound stayed dry.  No problem.  I'm not sure that this would be a good advertising example of its many uses, but it worked like a charm.

    Threw it away
I bought this product because it sounded similar to Saran Wrap and the store was out of the regular Cling Wrap.  I used it once to wrap some left over chicken and I needed a chisel to get the food out of the wrap the next day.  Tonight I was going to try to wrap some left over chicken.  I guess the roll decided to seal itself because I could not find the end.  I tried for a long time and then tried to loosen with the tip of a sharp knife. No luck anyway I tried and I finally gave us after 15 frustratingId minutes.  It is going in the garbage now that I took a picture for you.  I am a 73 year old male who does all the cooking and everything else for a disabled wife and this product did not make things better for me.  I have used Glad products for the last 50 years but I will go back to something easier to use.  I regret that I paid about $4 for this product and had to throw it out.

    Dispenser is a disaster
Product provides great seal but the dispenser is so terrible I avoid using the product.  Surely you can engineer a dispenser that doesn't fall apart and works reliably.  Would only recommend this product with huge warning to prepare for frustration.

    Great product! Terrible tear bar
The product is great, but tearing it off the roll is really difficult to do without shredding 2-3 inches of wrap. The tear bar (part of the packaging) is really the weak point in this product.

    THERE ARE SOME PROBLEMS
I have been buying GLAD products for years and began buyng the Press 'n Seal 2 years ago. I know you have a good product but really don't you have anyone testing the packaging of this product?  Does anyone but I know that the lid doesn't stay closed and therefore jams the drawer every time I open it? and the plastic roll turner is always out of place.  I think I've purchased my last roll.

    Great product, terrible packaging!
I have purchased Press N Seal since it was first introduced, and was happy with it.  Recently, however, the functionality of the packaging has gone down the drain.  The end caps on the roller fall off every time I try to use it and it is very frustratingId.  It's practically unusable.

    Even works for painting projects!
Press'n seal makes a great paint tray liner! I have loved this product for a long time for its ability to seal extremely well. But I just realized it is also great for painting! I have been lining my paint tray with it and when I am finished I just pull it out and have almost no clean up. So much cheaper than buying those tray liners! I also seal my paint with press'n seal when I have to take breaks or overnight and my paint stays really fresh. Between this and putting my rollers in zip loc bags to stay fresh during breaks I am avoiding a lot of yucky paint clean up.

very hard to start the roll
We use Glad Press'n Seal all the time, but we have been so crazy with this last roll we got - upon opening, we immediately got started wrong and ended up wasting three quarters of the roll before we could get it started. There has got to be a better way to keep the roll from doing this.  Any advice would be appreciated.

    Press n Seal
The product itself is great, however the box is not constructed properly. The “cutter” detached from the box on the second tear. I attempted to reattach w no success. Without the cutter it is useless and a waste of money. I have even tried cutting w scissors, unsuccessful!

    Sticks to everything!
I've wrapped fresh melon halves, covered open cans & leftovers on a plate.  It has stayed on tight on every one of them!  Most wraps stick to glass, but this Glad Press 'n Seal is awesome!  You have to be careful not to press on the box as you unroll it, but it tells you that on the box, because it even sticks to itself.  :)  Great product!

    Leak-Proof YEP!
I work at a pre-school and we refill 5 gallon water jugs for our 50 plus employees.  We use your Press'n Seal to keep the dust out of the water jugs.  But the day I had to refill the jugs, one of the 5 gallon jugs tipped over in my car and I was still a half a mile away from the school...not a single drop of the five gallons spilled in my car.  Your product really works.  You should change the picture on your box from a cup of water to a five gallon water jug.

If you would spend just a little more on the box so that it holds together when tearing off the needed piece things would be great.. but the odds of glad doing a box improvement are going to be low I'm sure but hope to be wrong.. And that is sad.

    Lousy product
I purchased Press & Seal thinking that it had replaced the original Glad Cling Wrap because it didn’t seem to be on the shelves.  The Press & Seal is such a pain in the neck to work with, it handles just like the other national  brand of clear wrap which is poorly!  My intention just now was to find a customer service number to call in my  complaint because I thought Glad was not making Cling Wrap anymore; however, after looking at the website I see that the original is still being made. I just don’t know if it’s at the store where I usually shop!!  It will be worth it to go out of my way just to get the  original Glad Cling Wrap.  Cling Wrap is so easy to use.  I do not like the Press & Seal at all!!!

Love the product, hate the cutter ??
I’ve been buying this for awhile because of course, it sticks to everything. I also use it to freeze bcuz it’s pretty airtight. But the cutter is awful after about 10 uses. It doesn’t cut evenly across and by the time you actually get it cut and out, the piece of wrap is shredded and stuck together. My fiancé hates using it. So you’re basically spot on with the Product but definitely need to go back to the drawing board on the packaging and cutter mechanism.
