This glue gun is great if you need a thin line of glue for special projects. Easy to load and the colored tip makes it easy to tell when the gun is ready to use for cool enough to put away. Love it!

I like how quickly the glue pen heats up and by the tip turning from blue to red let's you know when it's cool or hot.  I like how the flow of the glue from the glue pen.  The glue pen needs a stand so it doesn't lay on it's side.  It's not convenient each time to move the lever on the sides when more glue is needed, however, I do like how it keeps the flow consistent.

The glue pen is so easy to use and very convenient. This product is more compact that the regular size glue gun.  It is easy to take on the go tok any crafting event.

Loved how the Hot Glue Pen fit my hand and was lightweight and very comfortable to use. The finger controlled trigger released the glue so easily but the quick heating up of glue sticks wasn't expected and I was a bit concerned about the dripping out of tip onto work surface was premature.  I will know better to place an old metal teaspoon under the tip to catch the droplets before I plug in the pen. \

I loved the ease of the tip heating up and changing color from BLUE to note it was RED hot along with the speed to handle emergency crafting/repairs as I've often had to wait awhile with other brands of glue guns which were uncomfortable weightwise.

The glue pen has a comfortable design that is easy to use. I like that the tip turns red when it is ready to use. Is a great addition to my crafting supplies and is something my older students could easily use.

The glue gun is small and compact and releases a nice amount of glue.  However, I couldn't get the trigger to work and had to push the glue through with one hand.

This product is so compact and handy that it is priceless.  It heats up quickly and came in very handy for a craft project that I was doing. And the best part is that it is so small that you can easily store it in a drawer!

I love this so much! So easy to use, made a few Christmas decorations for family and friends. The glue holds up very well. Has a nice grip so you're not sliding. No sticking, no fiber strands as you use it.

The hot glue pen is a great iteration of the glue gun! More control and a very fine line of glue. Also, the tip turns from black to red when it’s hot enough to start gluing. It’s ergonomically correct, light weight and cool to the touch. Perfect for fine detail gluing!

So I may not be like most people. Me and a hot glue gun do not go well together. I always manage a sloppy glue and have it on something it's not supposed to or burning myself with it. This product arrived just in time. My little one likes to rearrange the ornaments on the tree. She has a collection of broken ones that needed to be fixed. We used this product to glue the little backs onto the nutcrackers. Great tool very easy to use and the best part precise. I didn't have glue everywhere. You cannot even see that the back are glued on.

This was great timing- i am using my glue gun to fix ornaments this Christmas!

Comes with written instructions, but I watched a short video tutorial to properly insert the mini-glue stick. It takes a little getting used to. I recommend practicing a few shots to get used to the trigger flow. It stays hot with no glue drips so there's no waste. Love the tip indicator, it turns red when it's hot & ready to use. Turns blue when it's cool and ones it cools, you can easily remove glue strings from the silicone tip.

This compact design works great and is much easier to use.

This product is a great idea...it is so much easier to put the hot glue exactly where you want it than with the old "gun style" hot glue guns. The only issue I had was that the part that pushes the glue down kept hitting my big hands when I was using it. Other than that, it is a great product and I love the fact that you can visibly see (the tip turns red) when it is hot enough to use.

Great for everyday crafting. This tool fills the need to precisely place hot glue in a small areas or normal every day projects with a comfortable grip! Finally a comfortable grip that doesn't make you hands cry after using a bit. I love the easy press trigger as well. It's like a happy dance, as finally a hot glue gun that truly works for me.

I have been using this glue gun for the past several weeks.  It heats up very quickly and is relatively easy to use.   I love the idea of it being so small.  However, I felt like I was constantly having to feed  glue into the gun and it was a bit awkward to use. \
I feel more comfortable with the traditional glue guns, but I will continue to work with this one... and who knows... I might change my mind.

I love the size of this glue gun.  It's so compact and easy to maneuver.  The directions were a little confusing and I'm not sure how that Release button at the top of the pen works, but I used it like any other glue gun.  It also has that temperature changing tip, so you know when the tip is hot.  Love it!

It was a little frustratingId to figure out how to use the pen because it is very different from the glue gun.  I think this is great for small projects.  I had to mend the trim on a Santa pillow and this pen was great for the job.  It gives a few seconds of steady stream.  If you have a bigger job, I would recommend using a glue gun.  The pen is harder to control.  If you have a bigger area to cover, it peters out too soon.  I like the indicator that shows when the tip is hot (it turns red).  Once you get used to this pen, I think you will like it too.  Doesn't replace a glue gun, but I will add it to my kit for small repairs and projects.

The hand grip on this pen glue gun fit my hands perfectly and made it very easy to manipulate the glue. I was able to write words with the glue. The red tip feature (tip turns red when the glue gun has heated up) really is wonderful. Just keep in mind that due to the smaller "stream" of glue coming out that the glue cools down faster. I can see this being handy for working on crafts that require gluing in narrow openings. Great tool for maker spaces.

This hot glue gun works perfectly for my daughter's arts and crafts projects!

I didn’t know what to expect from this simple glue gun but I was very impress. It may be small but it works great for everything I need. Easy to use and perfect for small spaces.

My first impression of the Westcott Hot Glue Pen is that it could be my first choice for a convenient, quick to heat glue gun.  The package and device are attractive and the glue pen seems solid.  \

After getting the device out of its packaging, I read the directions, plugged it in, and waited for melted glue to come out.  It did, and I was happy.  I think the tip changing color is especially useful, not to mention it being a cool (!) way to know when the hot glue pen can safely be touched and stored. \

My only negative comment concerns the packaging.  While it clearly shows folks what they are buying, it is difficult and potentially dangerous to open.  Opening the package took scissors, and they leave sharp edges which cut me, and could leave seriously deep cuts on others. \
