Scott 1000 Tissue is the only way
We have lived in the same home with a septic tank for 46 years. Using Scott Tissues has been the best way for us to go. It is sturdy enough in use, but flushes much better than other brands. My grown children for the most part use only Scott Tissue in their homes.

I only buy the Scott 12 pk. I find it has the most tissues for the price on sale. I only wish it could be a little softer and keep the same amount of tissues and price.

Did you all change the formula from 2 ply to single ply? My Scott tissue is falling apart. I've only used Scott tissue 1000 for the last 25 years, and am shocked by how it's falling apart now. I hope this is a temporary problem.

Scott 1000 Tissues Missing Cardboard Inserts
Dear Scott CS:
Eight rolls from a 36 count plastic bag of Scott 1000 unscented bathroom tissue rolls did not have the cardboard insert for easy replacement. We purchased the 36 count bag from BJ Wholesale Club in Amherst NY last month. This is the first time ever that this happened to us over several years of purchasing your products, so kudos to your quality control team!
Nevertheless, would you be able to compensate us in some way for the hastle of cutting holes and wasting some of your product?

I haven't purchased Scott 1000 for a long time and have switched to Scott Extra Soft. I find the 1000 so thin that I was using twice as much. Using the 1000 brand felt like I was using pages from a telephone book.

The quality is not good now. I have used it for more than 50 years and now it is so bad, can't use it to wipe without it falling apart and sticking to the skin.

We use Scott 1000 all the time and are very satisfied with the product. But at times it seems that some of the rolls have thinner paper than others. My daughter who uses the same product noticed the same thing.

Thick or Thin or What?????
Lately the roles are totally inconsistent. One 12 pack will be right and another bought the same day will be so thin that you can't even pull it off with out it ripping off two sheets in. The house hold is getting real tired of this. Either change your quality control or we are done.

my rolls of scott 1000 tissue had various holes in it as you unrolled it. who is in control of quality control here? need to make the tissue a bit thicker in order to avoid such a problem.

I have been using only Scott for many years. I find that it is the best value for the price. But it could be a little softer. I tried the extra soft but it seemed to fall apart too easily. Still, I won't change from Scott!

I have used scott tissue for many years--we grew up with it and I am 59 years old!i have tried other brands but scott is the best--safe for septic systems and does not clog up --I can usually find a good deal on large packs of scott tissue for a very reasonable price--I like to buy in quantity--after all it is one of those things you will always need--will always use scott tissue--thank you

We have been using this product in household for a long time. Great for using with septic tank because keeps from creating issues with it. My grandkids love it and ask why all the other tissue they use is not like Scott tissue.

Latest purchase very hard/rough
We have been buying this product for many more years than I can remember. It is always been on the thinner side when compared to luxury type products but none the less a great product. Apparently the formula has changed with the last 36 pack we just bought (9/2015). It used to have a certain softness to it. Just a little rougher than a tissue. It is now lacking texture and hard more like a sheet of paper from a laser printer. It's bad enough that we will try other brands and not even finish this pack.

This is not the same as it used to be and I've used this same brand for more than twenty years. I don't want to be vulgar but it seems like almost more paper is being left than is ending up in the toilet. I've not been very happy with the rolls for some time now; it's getting too soft or something...please bring back the old paper formula.

FrustratingId Experience on a new roll
I have been using Scott 1,000 rolls since I was a kid. I love that I don't have to change the roll as frequently as other tissues. Lately I have been very frustrated when opening a new roll of tissue...You are gluing down the starter edge so that there is no way to get a grip on anything to start the roll going. So you end up having to rip through several sheets to get it going, making a mess of tiny tissue pieces all over the floor. Why do you need to glue these edges down when these rolls are individually wrapped anyway? If you do glue the edge down, you must leave a loose end to grab on to (and you used to). This has been going on for some time now and frustratingId me for some time now and I've been meaning to write you about it for some time now too...happened again today so I decided to write. If you don't fix this, I'm regretfully moving on to a new brand.

The Best, Jerry, The Best
When I Was a kid, we had a septic tank, so my mom always bought Scott. I didn't particularly care for (or think about) it, just knowing that I preferred the funny commercials from another brand. But as soon as I moved out and had to do my own necessity-shopping, I learned quickly that Scott is still the way to go. The texture is great (no "flakes") and like so many others are quick to point out, this is hands-down the longest-lasting roll I've ever bought. I do want to point out that I like tubeless, too, but the texture is just not the same as the Scott 1000, nor does it last as long! All that said, from a college house of 6 to my tiny apartment four years later, Scott is my go-to!

My Dad suggested I use this product 20 years ago, safe for the septic tank. He was right. And with 3 ladies in the house we've been satisfied with the quality of the paper itself. It's softness and durability makes us stick to Scott and nothing else.

We love Scott because it isn't thick like traditional toilet paper and that allows it to flush easier. Moreover, we all rave on how it wipes easily and doesn't leave us feeling as if we have residual toilet paper left behind. I grew up using Scott 1000 and now that I'm an adult, Scott 1000 or Scott Naturals cleansing cloths are the only options for my family.

My family loves Scott 1000 because it lasts a long time. No replacing rolls of toilet tissue after two to three bathroom uses. We buy the 12 roll pack. Love the cost. We have been using Scott 1000 since 1990. No other toilet tissue will do. Does not clog toilet.

Love the new texture, but after just one month of buying the new product and liking it, then buying it a second time, I noticed how much less we get! The price doesn't change but the size and weight certainly do! It is a big pet peeve that we keep getting less as if we can't figure that out! At least be honest and make the price represent the change in quantity.

Great on my budget, and my septic tank
I have used this for years and have had to have my septic tank emptied only once in twenty years--great savings and 1 roll lasts 3 times as long as others who sell more cheaply. The only disappointment was when they followed others in the narrower roll.

Been buying Scott bathroom tissue for Years because good quality and 1000 sheets.
No more. The quality of the sheets has gone to the dogs. Too thin, holy, and just plain poor. You practically use 500 sheets in one trip to the bathroom.

32 years ago, when we built our house, our plumber said to use only Scott tissue in our bathrooms since we have our own septic tank. We have never had to have the septic pumped out and all 3 toilets have not given any problems. However, three weeks ago, I had a coupon for another brand of toilet tissue that was really a great savings, I thought. Now I have to flush the toilet sometimes 3 times before it will flush down this off brand of toilet tissue. Never again will I buy any brand but Scott. (P.S.-My husband isn't happy with me).

I like Scott Brand toilet paper best because, it's the best money value around, and also the best paper - not too thin so you don't use reams of it, and not so thick that it forces you to use more than needed - it's perfect. Please do not make it any narrower!!

My wife and I have been loyal Scott users for over 40 years.
recently, we purchase our usual supply of multi-pack tissue. I am now seeing that the rolls are not perforated for easy tearing.
This has been an issue, especially when our grandchildren are with us.
I am very disappointed with the quality control and would like to make you aware.

Less than what I expected
We have bought this toilet paper for over 25 years because we're concerned about the septic tank. We've been please until this last package we got. It's quite different now. It may still be 1,000 sheets, but they're thinner sheets and has a bigger tube. Wished the quality stayed the same.

is the septic safe label the same as 'fast dissolving', same as 'much thinner than it was before'? I switched brands for a few months and when I went back to Scott I immediately noticed how much thinner it was. I compared it to an older roll in another bathroom (from about 6 months ago to make sure this was an accurate assessment), and yep, it is MUCH thinner! Soooo, thinner means more sheets will be used which means it's value has decreased. I've been using this product my whole life because half of it was lived in a house with a septic tank, so this was the only brand my parents used. Why did you do this, this is like the cheap public restroom toilet paper now. I will not be buying this product again unless you tell me the septic safe is not the standard but is in fact meant to be thinner. I have a picture to prove it also.

great value but not much a fan
Scott 1000 was the very first scott bath tissue I ever bought. Sure the money value was there, but I wanted a softer texture. I donated the rest to my son's charter school then I switched to Scott extra soft.

Great reviewTitl for as much as you recieve
I had Scott toilet paper since I was growing up. I love Scott because it is unscented, does not make a mess while using it and can always get the job done. I had to change one time , just for money issues, and disliked even having to do it. People feel this is a harder toilet paper and I am thinking it is safer cause it is not sticking to everything and it is unscented. For woman that get a lot of infections I tell them to use this toilet paper. Proud to say I have more people using it, if only I received a commission I think I would have been set for a vacation.

Last 25+ years...this is the one. I have tried softer ones ( Charmin, Northern ...just do not compare to value, function and design. ) Do not change product...why?
It works, dissolves not to clog plumbing, soft and roll last a long time! Entire family uses it and wet wipes for baby, extra clean messes...combo in the bathroom. Nothing compares!

I spent a lot of money on trying different tissues. They left bits behind, caused rashes, and were very uncomfortable and expensive. With Scott I get no rashes, its comfortable and clean, and the savings are great. Won't use anything else!

For many, many years, I have only purchased Scott 1000. Sadly, no longer. It has been changed. It is thinner and flimsy. It has become a cheap, nasty product! I would be mortified to have my family & guests use it! Too bad... now I am heading back to the store to return the remaining rolls and to start the search for my new toilet paper.

I love Scott 1000 Tissue. There's no lint on the tissue so when I wipe no residue is left. Scott 1000 Tissue last much longer than most any other brands other than your other Scott Bath Tissues. Keep up the good work.

Economical, Long Lasting and Strong
I have been buying this item since it showed up on the shelves years ago. I think it is the best toilet paper for your money. It is economical, long lasting and strong. I hope it will be on the shelves for life. It has proven to be the best whether septic tank or in town. You might try Scott paper towels as they are just the right clean up item when you need it.

Scott 10000 High quality? Really?
After my last purchase I decided to put the following review on Amazon: "I've been using Scott 1000 For as long as I can remember. My mom always bought it and and I followed suit. I had noticed a few years ago that the rolls were shorter (toilet paper holder now looks way too big), but I continued to buy it. Then a while back I noticed it was a bit thinner too, but I continued to buy it. I had a couple of rolls left from the last pkg (I always buy the 36 roll pkgs at the local wholesale club) so I compared the two and sure enough it was even shorter and EVEN THINNER (didn't think that was even possible). It is so thin, urine soaks right through to your hand! It is repulsiveness! I need to use THREE TIMES as much as before. It's understandable that manufacturing costs go up but the product shouldn't change, just the price. I would rather pay more money for a superior product then pay the same amount and get an inferior product. After 47 years I am forced to switch to a new toilet paper. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Someone at Scott's should be held accountable for their bright, money saving idea! Don't they realize how many loyal customers they are losing???"
I suggest that someone from quality control check out the Scotts ratingIds and reviews on the Amazon site.

Great tissue --- Long Lasting Too!
Sometimes this tissue costs a little more but it is worth it. Each roll lasts a long time and I don't have to change it every day. It is soft enough, I don't like some of the very soft brands that stick to you. Scott is a GREAT value!

I noticed that this product has changed . . . it used to more durable and now it is thinner and it's harder to get the first sheet off of the roll. I'd say this has been for several months now. I don't know what you guys did, but it's not the same product, and I don't like it anymore. I'm thinking of trying something different.

Every time my mother would send me to the store she would always say "Make sure you buy Scott!" Living with her that's all I ever used and when I finally lived on my own I finally know why. I've bought many brands over the years, most because I'm in a rush and just grab any toilet paper in the local grocery store but Scott is the best. It's the only one I use and now I make sure I buy larger packs so I never run out. They last longer, are more durable and the best part, they do not irritate at all ! Thanks for a great product

I've always used Scott tissue as we have a septic tank and it the mist bio friendly TP around as well as goes so far. Others in the house complained it was hard but not me. Recently, it's gotten very thin and even harder. I would now try something new if it's septic friendly.

I bought the 36 count and my local BJ's store which I've done hundreds of times before but I have to say I'm not sure if you've change the way you do it but this toilet paper is like sandpaper. The quality of this paper has gone downhill.

Your product is absolutely inferior to days of old. The tissue is so thin you end up using twice as much to make up the difference. Although it boasts 1100 sheets it is a misrepresentation of a true value. Shame on your company for going down the same road of other American "quick revenue making/inferior quality" companies.

I have been a customer of Scott 1000 for over 30 years. I started when an elementary student did a study and found for the quality and price this was the best value. This last 12 pack is decidely different. It is much thinner than the previous toilet paper. I am very disappointed. A few weeks ago I would have given this a 5, now it is a one maybe a two.

Scott toilet paper is noticeably getting narrower. it's much more difficult to unroll without tearing, and it tends to roll up at the edge because its so narrow. I've used and liked Scott for years, but no more. Terrible decision on their part to cheapen their product like this.

I buy Scott 1000 Sheet Rolls all the time. It's soft and I save money on buying the 1000 sheet toilet tissue. Other brands that have had a 1000 sheets were hard and not worth what I paid for the other product. Will only buy Scott 1000 Tissue Rolls

I have purchased Scott tissue for many years. In a pinch I purchased other brands and have not been pleased with the results. For more money on other name brands you have to use more to get the quality results and go through rolls faster. With Scotts brand I can use less rolls and have quality results. I will not purchase any other brand again. Thank you for a wonderful product

I brought 2 large packs of this since I was tied of replacing the roll so often. They did last a long time but the paper was thin and easily ripped or shredded. Disappointed in the quality of this product. Not what I expected from Scott papers.

I have learned my lesson. I recently went to buy Scott Bath Tissue, and since I didn't have any coupons for it I switched to another brand. And I regret it. Love the fact that Scott Bath Tissue is strong and lasts more than other brands of the same type of paper. Coupons and discount offers should be available more often.

Works Great for septic tanks
Have been using this product for many years, and having a septic tank, these work great, they are 1 ply which works best in septic tanks, but the tissues are soft as well. They flush and dissolve great.

Scott 1000 is the worst toilet paper ever. It is like tissue paper. You need 20 sheets each time you use it. I will not ever buy it again. Also it is not soft but like tissue paper. I can't wait to finish using what I have so I can buy another brand!

Size of the roll is shrinking. Width wise. Many sheets are shredded. Useless\
Too much or too strong glue, can't get rolls started without wasting 3 or 4 layers.\
Products are expensive, we can't afford to waste.

Great for our septic system

12 roll with tube toilet paper
I bought a package of twelve roll Scott 1000 sheets per roll, and 4 of the rolls I am not able to place on my toilet paper holder, because the tubing was crushed making it impossible to use as intended. I in the past have always used Scott Tissue paper, but I am disappointed. i tried the tubeless and do not like it. i prefer the tube but not when it is not useable.

I have only used Scott products for all of my adult life. I am in my mid 50's and have become so sick of the brand! You can literally read through the toilet tissue so whereas it used to be 2 ply and very cost conscious..now you are using MORE just to get the job done and not get your hands soiled. This was an edge that Scott had on ALL THE COMPETITORS, but not any more! I am not sure what brand I will be switching to now, but after this package I just bought on Friday August 19th. I can assure you it wont be Scott anymore. I was a huge supporter of anything Scott. In June my family I bought a huge 24 package for our beach week and we all noticed at the same time that something was drastically bad and different. I suggested it was just an error in just this package an OTO, one time only, I said, but no...sadly its not. Sadly, its not! Shame on you for changing what was an already good product. If its not broke, don't fix it!

I have purchased Scott toilet tissue many, many times over the years. I appreciated the long-lasting rolls and the quality of the job it did. The last tissue I bought I wouldn't have recognized as Scott. It's so weak it pulls apart when I try to unroll it and it's not very good for its intended purpose. I definitely have to use more to get the job done. What happened?

Soft,convenient , economical my favorite!
In my family we have the battle of the toilet paper! Our adult family make a big deal about their favorites! As guests in our home I find criticizing our choices of products is rude and disrespectful. Raising 4 children in a multi-bathroom home ,it seemed the rolls were always in need of changing. My husband and I began to use Scott toilet paper and our annoying problem improved . The convenience of soft ,strong and larger roles made life easier and greatly better than the days of individual sheets from public facilities that we had growing up. Get a grip , potty paper snobs it could be corn cobs or catalogs ! Try a little thankfulness!

We have old & outdated plumbing, every tiolet paper seemed to clogg/overflow the toilet,35yrs in this apartment and Scott 1000 sheets per roll works never cloggs toilet, we've use and love Scott 1000в„ў. Great product with normal use( not a ton of toilet paper).

I have always bought this brand and product because it last longer than the other rolls and my husband likes the thickness. He does not like those real thick toilet paper he says it doesn't clean as well. Also it's not so thin that anything goes through and it does tear up when you wipe.

When I was a kid my mom bought only Scott. I would tell her that when I was grown I was buying the soft fluffy stuff! She would explain that Scott was a better value because you use less of it. Of course I tried the fluffy stuff when I was grown and found out how right Mama was! I am 51 and can't remember a time when I didn't use Scott. I still haven't seen the tubeless tissue I keep getting coupons for though.

I have used Scott toilet paper for 30 years. It is the only toilet paper that lasted more than a few days. Recently, it is thinner and suddenly I am replacing rolls every 3 or 4 days. It also won't separate well at the perforations so it can be frustratingId and it leaves a ragged mess. It is time to go for one of those soft absorbent brands, if I have to replace rolls this often.

Inexpensive and lasts months

I've been using Scott toilet papers for years. However, over the past six months or so, the quality of this product has gone down hill. I'd like to choose a thicker/stronger product however, because I live in a basement and have a flush up toilet, I have to use a one ply product because if I use anything of better quality, I run into problems with the pump. Getting back to my review.....the last roll I bought wasn't only thin.....it actually had little holes in the paper which made a product already substandard to be worst. When I first started using this product, it was a better grade than the product being sold. I guess I'll have to try and find another 1000 roll that won't fall apart in my hands.

I would like to voice my opinion on this matter because it strongly bothers me. I have been using Scottissue for years now. Now i am seeing a tv commercial advertising your tubeless tissue. and what a great concept it is because consumers use a lot of this product. you hail your pride in it, yet you still sell it ina plastic wrapper. i would like to note this...paper (even tubes) dissolves easily while the plastic wrapper on your products can take up to 12 years to dissolve. dont you think it would eb a greater service to our world to once again start sellling your product in a thin paper wrapper? this is just MY own opinion and somethign that i think would be a more viable selling point that doing away with the tube.

Have been purchasing this product for quite some time but now have to share my thoughts. The paper is fine but the cardboard tube is terrible. In each roll the tube is bent in such a way that when using it makes a loud thump-thump noise coming off the roll which is embarrassing, especially when the rest room is in close proximity to another room. Have tried to bend it before placing it on the holder, but usually does not work well. FrustratingId and will go to another product soon if not corrected.

The best tissue paper in the market
The Scott tissue paper is the only paper that I buy, is a soft tissue that do not break in your hands. My family member loved whe are five member and I all ways buy the 20 packets and lasts me for 2 month.

So very disappointed with this product
I bought this product a few weeks ago and was disappointed with it. It is so thin that you have to use twice as much in order for it to work. I did pay attention to the fact that it is one ply paper. I will not be buying this product ever again. I paid more for it than a good two ply paper.

I started using Scott 1,000 sheets over 25 years ago. My daughter's heard me all their life say, don't use anything but Scott Tissue in your restrooms. The reason was because every time I used other brands, I ended up with sewerage pipe clogs. After discovering Scott 1,000 sheets, no more clogs! \
I then told everyone I know my personal experience. All our tenants are recommended to use Scott to prevent sewerage pipes clogs or backups. I can tell when they buy Scott.. no problems, but when they use any other brand, they calling with backup issues. My first question is, did you use Scott or another brand of tp? I can say, 9 out of ten times, it was another brand. \
The value of Scott 1,000 Sheets can't be beat. The roll outlast others also! I highly recommend you to take the Scott test and see the value of Scott 1,000 Tissue. \

I have a very large household of 8+ people. And when I use other toilet tissue. It just dosn't last long at all. But with Scott tissue, 4 rolls can last a week. Compared to the 24 reg. rolls of other or even the double rolls that don't even last as long.

The never ending roll in a house full of girls!
It took me a while to realize the cardboard rolls piled up quickly in the garbage can .... And then I tried Scott 1,000 sheet per roll! We have 3\

I ONLY use Scott brand toilet paper in my home. When I had an iron defiency, I went as far as to chew it(not swallow) because it was the only brand I trusted. I no longer have the deficiency, but any tissue that was safe enough to chew, is safe enough to use, and I am a lifelong consumer of Scott Products! Thank You!

I bought a 12 pack to save money. Came home later that day & my son removed it & put a roll of sandpaper on the roll. That is how horrible Scott's feels.

I love Scott's tissue because my children must think they have to wrap their entire arm up in toilet paper. With Scott toilet paper they don't go through half as much and much less expensive!

I've tried in the past other toilet paper was just as good but now I will only buy this brand. One roll will last days and one roll of any other toilet paper we have used may last only a day or two. I'll never switch from Scott toilet paper.

Best bang for your buck !
I've used Scott 1000 more than 25 years and I just bought a new 12 pack today. I'm a Missouri woman and you 've got to Show Me that it's a bargain ! Scott 1000 outlasts every roll on the market..

Use daily my entire life.
My family has sensitivity issues. Toilet tissues with perfumes or that claim to be "extra soft" cause major itchy and even infections for my family. Scott 1000 has never let us down. I always purchase it and it is the only brand I will ever buy.

I have been using Scott Tiolet Paper my whole life. My mother only used Scott's and I only use Scott's why because it is the best. I am a big fan Of Scott's Toilet Paper. The only Tiolet paper I would recommend to everyone.

Quality has gone downhill
I have faithfully purchased this paper for many years, mainly, because it was the only one that stayed consistent in size/ quality over the years. The last packages were so thin, not to mention narrower, that they are virtually unusable. Sadly, I must look for another product.

Prefer Longer Lasting Product
I always bought Scott 1000 because the tissue lasted for a long time. I do not like the newer 'softer' version because we quickly used the roll like other similar products. I wish you would keep the older version and perhaps offer it and another softer version as well.

My toilet used to get stopped up all of the time when I used another leading (more expensive) brand, I finally switched to Scott 1000 about 4 years or so ago, it never stops up now and the rolls last longer too. I've converted many people to Scott just from staying at my house and using Scott. I will never switch.

I can buy an 8 pack it last us (2) for two months maybe three. Scott brand is soft and very effective. It's very cost efficient. Thank you. I do not buy anything else. 1,000 sheets per roll. That's what you need.

I've heard this company name my whole life and thought it was time to give it try...now I know why we never had this growing up. Sorry mom, I should've listened. \
1. Too thin. You can see through it. It's like tracing paper. The toilet seat covers in public restrooms are thicker. \
2. Pieces left behind...literally left on your behind. If you're not careful, SURPRISE! You'll find pieces dried to your butt later on.\
3. Easily tears. Careful wiping your rear. Unless you use 1/2 the roll your finger will poke through and you'll end up using it to wipe your butt. Might as well save time and money and just use your finger to begin with. Buy soap instead of this tp. \
There's more but I'm running out of space and time. But, here's some advice. DO NOT SUGGEST THAT I TRY YOUR OTHER "THICKER" TP! That's a Negative, it's NOT going to happen!

Have been using Scott TT for all 59 years of my marriage through 2 homes w/septic and 4 w/sewer and altho it IS thinner AND narrower I still prefer it over other brands. (An aside, do you really NEED the profits reaped by making it thinner and narrower?)

Scott Bathroom Tissue 25+ Years
I have been using only Scott bathroom tissue for over 30+ years ! While we've tried different brands along the years we always go back to Scott ! It doesn't tear easily during use but most importantly does not clog up the toilet like softer tissues do. I use it and now my 3 grown children use it in their homes !

I bought Scotts "bathroom" tissue, (toilet paper) at Costco. It is awful, non absorbent, thin, you use twice as much. I have to say, using twice as much is great, since once we're done we'll never buy this product again.

It seems to last forever!!
This product is the best buy on toilet paper hands down! I have a large family and I used to buy toilet paper every time I went to the store. However, even if I buy a small package-4 rolls I know I will not run out until my next grocery trip. It is more expensive but it lasts 2 to 4 times longer than double rolls. Why? It is thinner and not as soft as most TP, but when you have children (and husbands)that already use twice as much(or more) than they need to, it doesn't add up to half the roll !!

Folks, I've been using Scott Brand Toilet Paper for 20+ years, and it is the best of the best! Those other "softer" brands are flaky and not soft and smooth like Scott! And on top of that, Scott is often the greatest quantity with the best quality for the lowest price!

I grew up using your regular TP as it was affordable and long lasting. After marriage, I converted my husband from a perfume brand (yuk) and we raised our kids using this necessity. Recently your rolls are so thin I can see through them. The new paper tears easily leaving "behind" debris! Yuk again! I want the better quality paper I grew up with. Until then, we are moving on to another brand. And no thanks to ultra soft or smelly scented tissue.

great for septic, long lasting
Isheets bought a 4 pack. one of the rolls so far had a defect in that every 50 to 60 sheets used then 5to10 sheets had double cuts running and inch apart four about 6 sheet intervals

There are many different brands of toilet paper out there but there is only one Scotts and thats the only one for me.WITHOUT SCOTTS I WOULD MOST LIKELY GO BACK TO THE OLD WAYS OF NEWSPAPER OR LEAVES THANKS SCOTTS YOU PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE

You have lost some more long-time customers!
Don't know what has changed but have used for years and was very happy with product. Now, the t.p. just disinigrates in your hand and on your body. Please! No auto-generated canned denial that there is a difference. There most definitely is and 4 different households will no longer purchase. Very disappointed.

Differences in the same product!
I have been using Scott tissue rolls for more than forty years. I am so not satisfied anymore. I bought a 20 roll pack and it has no indentation for tearing off. You just rip it off. Sometimes it is softer than other times. I see no consistency in the toilet tissue at all anymore. I realize it is made in different factories, but there should be same tissue coming out at all times. I am soon ready to change. The only reason I stay is because we have a septic tank, and I know your product is safe. However, there are others on the market now, that are biodegradable. I have been wanting to do this for some time, but now I am disgusted.

My family has used Scotts toliet tissue for many year, and I am 80 years old, but lately I find the production of this product has gone down hill. Every time I buy a pack of16 or 24 rolls there are at least 4 or 5 rolls that are missing the pinholes that cause the paper to tear off evenly. What ever the process is that causes the sheets to tear off evenly are missing. Quality Control should be keeping a closer eye on this.

Life long user..... no more
The quality is not the same. It breaks apart in use. I have used Scott for many decades, shame to see another quality product go down...I have switched brands. My only concern there, is I had always trusted that Scott was safe for my cesspool, the new brand claims to be so....we shall see. Scott always was a bargain price too--- now it is the same as the brand that I switched to.

We bought a 15-pack of Scott 1000 bath tissues. We put 1 roll in each of 3 bathrooms. After we each used it, we agreed that it was not acceptable; too small and too thin. We will not "stick" any of our relatives or friends with what's left, and will throw away the remaining 12 rolls. You should take this product off the market.

Toilet paper has gone "down the toilet"
I have used Scott toilet paper for 45 years and my Mom did for my first 21 years. Do you think your customers are stupid? i have watched the width shrink by 1/2" and the paper become so thin it falls apart when used. My loyalty has dissolved like your product. I guess it's time to give other brands a try. So disappointed in you!

I have been using this product for 15 years and have loved it until you make it thinner. When it is unrolled there is a now many large holes through out which means it takes more tissue to use it. You are saving money because you don't have to put as much paper in each roll but if this continues I will have to find a better product else where. I remember and Ad on TV that said it is now thinner and better. Management is WRONG!

I've been using this 1000 sheet toilet paper for years. At first because my kids were young & wasted the TP paper. Now however I use it because of the good value Scott TP has & still love the product. I can't say enough about it. Love,love,love it....

Are you crazy or are you oblivious. Your product on bathroom tissue is horrible. Haven’t seen your cardboard less product but have many issues with what you sell. I doubt it’s 1000 pieces. Can’t find first or last . You need new people to fix it. I can send you pics of your failure. Not what is was 5 years shiv.. Fix it!

I am so disappointed with this flimsy, harsh and totally useless toilet tissue.I won't even donate it to the Food bank. I accidently picked it up at the store instead of my regular brand. How could you put your name on such an inferior product?\
I cannot rate something I purchased and will have to discard.

I always buy Scott. My mother brought Scott so of course, this is my go to brand. Except now its not. This is because of 2 separate occasions and at 2 different stores I have experienced black mold within the rolls of tissue. I am completely disgusted.

U did change your tp, stop telling people u didn't
I complained a few years ago when you shrank the size of your rolls, since they don't fit on the holders any more and flop all over due to being too narrow. We've just regrettably dealt with it over the years. But this new paper is not usable. I'm very disappointed in the responses I'm seeing from you here too. Saying the product hasn't changed is false. It most certainly has changed in the last few months. It used to be softer and slightly quilted, now it's like thin tissue paper, it's super thin, VERY rough, and falls off the roll before you can even start using it, when it's not heat sealed to the plastic it came in! It's worse then the paper in public bathrooms. I, like others who have come here to see what's going on, only to see you telling people nothing has changed, have been using this product for over 40 years and my parents before me as well. I will not buy your products again unless you switch back. Please stop lying to people about changing your product.

I am very disappointed, after using it for 25 years I am going to have to find a different toilet paper for my family. It is so thin I have to use 3 times more than before. Maybe that is the point to sale more, but I believe it will back fire because of customer satisfaction. I will not continue as a customer, I don't know what brought about the change but I am not happy with it.

The last few days I’ve been buying this tissue the only brand I’ve ever used and idk weather someone is using your wrapper and making their own tissue or it’s just the bad soooo thin after a couple uses the roll is small idk what’s going on but FIX IT!!

I’ve used Scott 1000 for years until my kids bought another brand for me as a вЂgift’. After using that up (it was a lot of rolls), I went back to my Scott 1000. What a disappointment! It’s so thin! I use 4-5 times more than I used to when it was 2-ply. One roll of Scott 1000 doesn’t last any longer than the softer brand and it doesn’t clean as well. It certainly isn’t economical anymore. I’m sorry Scott went to a lesser quality and has lost me as a customer.

I bought 2 24 packs of Scottissue. The beginning of the roll is glued on the roll. I wasted more than I used trying to get a decent piece off to use. You take a little piece and undo the glue and try to unroll and it is glues several more times. So you end up with a bunch of little pieces all over.

DISSAPOINTED!! NOTICEABLE CHANGE IN THIS PACKAGE!
AFTER SO MANY YEARS AND BEING THE ONLY BRAND WE USE AS SOON AS I OPENED THIS PACKAGE I NOTICED IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. IT WAS VERY THIN THE TEXTURE WAS DIFFERENT. BUT I THOUGHT HEY LETS SEE HOW IT DOES.. WELL MY 4YR OLD HAD VERY SLIGHT RED IRRITATION ON HIS BOTTOM TOOK HIM TO THE DR, DR SAID HE ACTUALLY HAD LIKE ABBRASIOS/SCRAPES N IF I HAD CHANGED DETERGENT OR HIS UNDERWEAR BRAND TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. NOPE SAME STUFF.. WELL WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS I NOTICED I TOO WAS HAVING MY PRIVATES SCRAPED BY SOMETHING N AFTER ASKING MY WHOLE FAMILY WE NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE TOILET PAPER! I BUY MULTIPLE 12 PACKS AT A TIME SO I WENT AND OPENED \

I gave it 2 stars because of the brand.
We used regular scotts' tissue for years. When this new softer was introduced PERFECT! ( Regular was a little abrasive) so this was a God send, however over the years the size and quality has diminished. My last purchase was a 36=72 with six extra rolls, I was thinking JACKPOT! So I purchased 2. Not a jackpot. When I opened the second 6 pack all of the rolls were frayed same with the next 2 whomp whomp whomp. I was dismayed by not only the rolls were frayed the rolls were significantly smaller, I only have a 2 person house hold and we are both employed 10 hour working days and we managed to go through a approx. every 2 days. Guess thats why there was 6 free rolls. Because they were opened the store would not take them back, any suggestions?

Scott 1000 used to be more substantial. (It's now described as "softer.") The rolls were firm instead of squishy.\
Wish we could still buy that. Even the core used to be heavier cardboard so the rolls were round instead of deformed.

Scott 1000 has suddenly changed for the worse
Scott Brand 1000 is the only toilet paper I have used in years. The last 4 pack I bought is much different. It is very thin and if there are tear lines they don't work when tearing a section off. The bar code # is 54000 10183 It has new printing on it claiming 4 rolls last 4 weeks. I live alone and this is not a true statement. I will be changing brands. Bad move Scott Brand!

Was my favorite toilet paper but you have changed it. It's now thinner more like the tissue paper that you wrap presents with and now it is just as ruff and hard for one a ply, it was just the right thickness and not as ruff as most one plys but it is now worse than ever now I hate it. No more Scotts one ply for us and are friends unless you change it back thanks.

Scott broke the mold .. I have tried many cheaper products...they would irritate my skin.or I would use a lot more tissue just to feel clean... With this product .I use less so it last longer believe me it's definitely definitely more when it comes to this product!..

Would’ve gave a zero if I could
I bought this brand for the first time and never in my life have I had such hurtful hard toilet paper!!!! Feels like you’re wiping with sandpaper!! If I could refund the product I would! Do not buy this brand of toilet paper unless you like wiping with pine cones.

I have been using your toilet paper my entire life. Recently I have noticed in the last 35 pack that I purchased at Costco’s the toilet paper is so thin I must use Double Vie about. I will no longer be using your product because the cost is prohibitive since I am only getting 1/2 of the amount that I had previously gotten. Your toilet paper was recommended to me by my plumber I will be calling him for another brand on Monday. I have read many reviews where you are saying that you have not change the consistency. There is no comparison Of this product and your product of the past. I can actually see through it! I don’t want to use you newbsofter paper since it does not last as long . I’ll be purchasing another brand once this runs out which will be soon since I need to use so much more!

Have you changed your formula? i have used Scott toilet paper for years with no problem. It was the only toilet paper that I wasn’t allergic to. But now I seem to be allergic to Scott as well. How do I find out if it a change in your formula that is to blame?

Holes in the toilet paper I bought recently!
I have been purchasing this product for years, and while I am not crazy about the strength and softness, I buy it for the fact that it lasts so long. However, of the latest 20-roll-pack I bought, I have used two rolls, both of which have been full of holes. I mean, the entire roll of toilet paper, as it is pulled off the roll, about every other sheet is filled with holes. I hope the entire package is not like this, but I have a feeling it will be

Me and my family have been buying your products for a long time now. We realized that there isn’t any hand tissues made by your brand. We were thinking maybe you should make some and name it “Junior” by Scott, being though it’s a smaller version of your rolls.

Great value, no "treaments" or additives, right softness, good strength. I would give it five stars if I wouldn't get occasional rolls with missing (or nearly missing) perforations.

My family has been using Scott toilet paper forever, it is the only brand we will use. Recently I bought a 12 pack and each roll was not perforated, which caused a lot of excess waste as you keep pulling for it to tear. I hope this is not a new way of manufacturing it as undoubtedly this will be a deal breaker

BEWARE! SCARY DISCOVERY! See Photos!
Firstly, Scotts WAS a beloved and trusted brand of my family's for many years-- the way we go through toilet paper, I usually buy several 20 packs at once. That all changed this new year (2019) when on 4 out of 4 twenty-roll packs of Scotts 1000 sheets that I checked (after noticing concerning stains on rolls from pack 1), I found either (or a combination of all) black stains, off white stains, and silver metal looking slivers fresh out of the wrapper--and sometimes on the wrapper. EVERY pack had defective rolls in them. In one pack in particular every single roll was affected with either (or both) black spots, off white spots, or silver slivers that lit up in the light like metal. One pack in particular smelled of something spoiled and had toilet paper wrapping with off white stains. Now the kicker is that NONE of the four 20 packs of Scotts toilet paper outside packaging was opened. They were sealed and each roll individually wrapped which leads me to believe all this happened in the Scotts factory (the black/off white spots, funky smells, metal slivers). I have to admit to being absolutely appalled by this discovery, and disgusted. This needs to be addressed immediately. I have attached pictures that include the toilet paper rolls and what they looked like still in the packaging and fresh out of the wrapper. My family and I are very concerned because Scotts was the only toilet paper we used and now we are scared to even buy it again.

Product has gone downhill.
I’ve bought this brand of toilet paper for many many years. They’ve changed it in the last year or so. The role does not last as long, it appears to be thinner than the prior batch, leaves particles and is abrasive on women. \

Reviews on Amazon show a high percentage of negative reviews. I’m not sure why anyone in this thread would rate this toilet paper high.

I have been buying Scott products for 26 years, I have been using Scott longer than that because that's all my mother would buy. You better not bring anything in her house other that Scott. LOL I use paper towels toilet paper and flushables in Scott brand. I have never had any complaints about any Scott brand products. But lately I feel like I've been getting ripped off. This is the 4th 30 roll pack I have bought lately and you have to use twice as much. It doesn't go as far. Its so thin you can read through it. I don't know if this is being done on purpose or accident but I hate to say I will be going to something else if I get one more pack like this. It really bothers me. I have always been a Scott fan and I actually do feel like I'm being ripped off. Can someone tell me why this is going on ?

I have been buying this product for years. In March this year my new package of toilet paper is rougher than the daily news paper that's delivered everyday. What have you done to change the toilet paper? Change it back! It is terrible, I will never buy again! I would normally donate something I can't use or don't like, but I wouldn't want anyone to have to use this TP! If I could, it would get 0 stars!

Scott 1000 used to be the only TP I would buy. Last time I purchased, I noticed immediately when I opened the package that the product had changed. The paper is scratchy and not nearly as smooth as it used to be. The cardboard roll in the center must be different too because it is super loud when anyone uses it. I see the comments saying that nothing was changed- if the product wasn't redesigned, then you need to check your manufacturing process and your suppliers to find out where the change happened. Something is different. Why else do you think all of these people took the time to comment and let you know about the change? Stop making excuses and fix it.

Did you guys change the formula? I have been using scotts for 28 years and i just bought one today that seems like its completely different. Its so weak and thin, nothing like before. Seriously??

I grew up using Scott at my parents house so it was a no brainer to continue using it when I moved out on my own, especially now having a house with a septic tank instead of county sewer. Recently I have noticed that it has become so thin and I am using so much more. The same for my parents. They get theirs at BJ’s and we get ours at Sam’s club, with the same issues. We are all looking for an alternative now.

Quality has gone in the toilet!
This toilet paper has changed. I can not tell you how many years I have used this exact brand, but I grew up on it and now only brand i buy now too. And over the past few months i have noticed this roll had totally changed. 1st- you cant peel it away to start the roll any more. You scratch at it and destroy a few layers to finally grab it. 2nd-the paper is alot thinner and tears as you attempt to unroll it to use some(causing frustration). 3rd-(most important) I now have to use a lot more each time I wipe. Our house hold uses a lot of toilet paper. I never minded the price because the quality was there. I am now searching for a different brand. Your loss !!

I'm in my eighties and its been a long time since I'm seen single ply tissue. It's not absorbent and it's the texture of tissue paper. I bought a 12 roll pack. Can't use it. Not worthy of the Scott name.

Used to Love It. Sad it Changed.
I've been loyally using Scott 1000 for years and always appreciated that it was a fine single ply that was soft on the skin, easy to vary the amount needed, economical, and safe for septic. This week I purchased two new 12 roll packages and was shocked to find it had completely changed, and without any mention on the packaging. It's so rough that I really don't want to even finish it off. You can see the difference as the new version looks a little more transparent, like the fibers are larger. I'm really disappointed as I'm not looking forward to changing brands. I want the old version back! This is not an improvement and I feel duped since there was no warning about the change.

Ive been using this TP for yesrs but Today im very disappointed to get my delivery. The box states Compressed and they sure are. Now for months I will have toilet paper that wont actually roll on the tube holder. So sorry I bought it.

I have been buying Scott's for years. But the last case I bought is so thin it has holes in it. I will not buy it anymore if this is the new product

I thought this was the best toilet paper until. Recently each roll just disintegrates into tiny little pieces and fluff goes everywhere terrible yuck mess
