Overcomes the 5-meter USB distance limitation with an active repeater in the middle of the cable. Now USB printers and other devices can be located up to 25-ft. away from the computer in a single, non-daisychainable run, with no need for extension cables. Full 480Mbps speed is maintained along the entire length of the cable. Backward compatible to USB 1.1. Plug-and-play, Windows and MAC compatible. The U042-025 provides up to 150mA of power to the connected device. If your device requires more than 150mA of power, it will either need to have its own power supply; or, to be plugged into a powered USB 2.0 hub. excellent long USB cable with power to support 25 foot length

I needed a 25 foot USB cable to run from a powered USB hub to a remote printer. (An Epson mid-level model). The installation was simple, and the printer immediately started printing. Cables this long without a USB powered repeater are problematic. Not here, works great.

Cord is long enough to get my printer off the desk and across the room. Works flawlessly.

Work just got better!

I had a printer that I could not connect to the network and had only one internet cable to the room I needed it in. I was able to connect to my computer directly. Life is good!!!
