Buy From [@], Not At-A-Glance
I have nothing against this product; I think that Five Star produces high-quality notebooks that are worth a few extra bucks. That being said, you can find them for much, much cheaper at your local office supply store or [@]. Do not order through At-A-Glance; you are being overcharged.

I use this as my math notebook everyday. Great paper and its bigger than most other notebooks so you have a lot of room to write on.

Perforated pages do not tear cleanly!
I usually like Mead products but have been very disappointed in my most recent purchase. I purchased these notebooks to use for notes in my college courses. When I try to remove the notes to transfer them to a 3 ring binder, the pages end up jagged and torn because the perforated edges aren't perforated enough. Please fix this so I don't have to start buying another brand!

These used to be my most favorite notebooks to use for work...but no longer. I just bought 2 in Canada thinking that they were the same 8 1/2 x 11 size tear-out paper size and they are not. The tear-out paper is 8 x 10 1/2, and I can no longer fit full 8 1/2 x 11 size sheets in the pockets. I used to be able to store reference sheets inside the covers and in the pockets, now I can't unless I cut them down in size. I had stocked up so hadn't bought for a few years so I'm not sure exactly when these were changed. Maybe this was a cost-cutting measure -- but I no longer find them useful and will have to hunt for a new favorite. What a shame!

Used to love this now I don't.
Quality of paper has recently gone downhill. Paper is so thin you can see your writing on the back side of the page. It's horrible. This spiral notebook used to be a quality product, until now. I won't buy it again.

So glad we found ORANGE! School required orange and we could not find it locally anywhere. Finding it at Mead online was awesome! If the 'odd' colors continue to be required, we'll order everything directly from the website!

whenever i used a fivestar notebook it quickly fell apart the the metal thing always fell out of place to stab me over and over again and or the papers would be ripped or destoryed in some parts of the notebook and no matter how softly i write the paper would just rip making it nearly impossible to use
the folder did similar things such as break in half for no reason and the places that held it just usually fell out
bottom line i recomend paper folders and 18 cent notebooks over this at least they last longer then 2 weeks
under any type of use

Don't tear the pages out, you won't be happy
I've had no problems in the past when tearing out pages but my most recent purchase is a whole other story. Disappointing when you have such high expectations

They're nice and all like good quality paper except none of my standard sized papers fit in the folders and it's very annoying having to fold all of my work in half just to put it in the folder. The folder itself is the size of the papers so it would fit but the metal rings are in the way. Please fix this.

The pocket folders inside do NOT fit a regular size piece of paper. Don't buy if you want to actually use these folders

I'm writing a novel. Just used up a cheap 5 subject notebook that I wrote in for six months and it's falling apart. Just started on one of yours and love how the paper texture makes for smooth, neat writing. Like how wide the pages are and the pocket dividers. Really love the toughness. Will be buying nothing else from now on.

Used to love this product
I've been using this notebook for years now. I love it for college because usually I only take 5 classes and since it has the pockets to hold papers it's really the only thing I needed to carry around for all my classes. When I got it for this semester its slightly smaller and doesn't fit a standard piece of paper anymore. The reason I loved this notebook so much was because I didn't have to carry a bunch of folders around but I guess I'll have to look for an alternative now. Disappointing.

Great quality and built to last
Five Star wirebound college ruled one subject notebook is durable so it can stay intact especially for the on the go student. The one subject notebook is great for taking notes and the pages tear off easily. I like that the quality is excellent compared to competitive brands which often I have found to not be made as durable as the Five Star brand notebook. I will be purchasing additional products as I trust the Five Star brand for overall excellent quality and durability.

I received this notebook from viewpoints for a truthful review. I love this notebook. I got a red one and the color is perfect. I love the sturdy back of the notebook and the stark white of the paper. I would totally purchase these notebooks for my children for their classes as they seem sturdier than the ones we have used before.

I absolutely love this notebook! I use it for personal/school work. I keep it in my tote bag and it goes with me daily. The pages come out easily but aren't flimsy and just fall out. Writing on the paper always looks and feels nice especially when your writing a lot!

Perfect for college students
I'm studying engineering, and we take soooo many notes in my classes. I used to have separate notebooks for each of my classes, but that became too confusing and weighed down my backpack a ton. I decided to switch to a 5 subject notebook, and the "Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 5 Subject" looked like the perfect choice.
This notebook includes 200 pages of college ruled sheets. The sheets are perforated and tear out easily and neatly. There is also 3-hole punches on each sheet so I can transfer the paper to a 3-ring binder if needed. I like that I can keep all my notes in one place and there is enough room to use it the entire semester. This is a great option for college students. I definitely recommend it!

The quality of this notebook is great. Its sturdy and not overpriced. I like that the cover is plastic and there is yellow dividers to know where each sections starts and ends

Highly recommend, very useful!
This is a great binder for my college courses because it is an all in one 5 college rules notebook with water resistant covers to protect your notebook throughout your courses. I like that it keeps me more organized by the sections, I can go to the folder and know which course I am working on and start where I left off. This is a wonderful high quality product!! Would recommend and purchase in the future.

Sheets were easily ripped out without damaging the page. The quality of the paper was noticeable and the binder is huge. The quality mixed with the size will make this binder last a long time!

A great product that is sturdy and strong
A great "tough" product that doesn't tear easy and the pages will actually stay in the notebook until YOU decide to tear them out. Cheap notebooks will rip apart easy. I like the strength of the product

I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
I used this product to write essays for English class and take calculus notes. It's very sturdy and light weight for the amount of paper that you're getting.

Love this notebook. The cover of this notebook is a bright white and very nice. The notebook is very durable and holds up well. I love that it has orange folders built into it. Perfect for storing loose pieces of papers. The paper quality is great. I find it holds up to pens and markers without being see through to the other side. Overall a great notebook for taking notes and to take to business meetings.

Durable Notebook - Would Buy Again
I love the durability of this notebook. The folder dividers that separate each of the 5 subject areas is reinforced at the top of the pocket, which is great to prevent them from ripping when putting notes and loose paper in the pocket. Having 5 subject sections is nice to keep everything in one place, but it certainly makes the notebook thick. So, it was a little difficult to fit in my laptop bag. Otherwise, I love this notebook!

Great quality. Very durable. You can even attatch to a binder. This is a yearly notebook so it will last you a while. Great for so many uses. This is a notebook you should always have a couple of and keep on hand.

The Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 1 Subject was of very good quality paper, after writing with ink there was no bleeding through on the other pages. This also has a water resistant cover to help protect your papers from getting wet or damaged. Inside there is a reinforced storage pocket to help prevent tears and also extra space to keep important papers. The durability of this notebook is built strong to last longer. In the past I have bought notebooks that bleed through when writing, tear easily, or they just don't last long. After trying this for review purposes I definitely will be buying this from now on and I highly recommend The Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 1 Subject.

Dependale, Reliable & Quality Notebook!
Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 5 Subject is a great value and is of high quality! The pages are thick and sturdy. I love that the pages are stark white as they don't look aged and old. This notebook has the advantage of being sectioned off for 5 different subjects so you won't need to carry around multiple notebooks. The cover is sturdy and the wire binding is secure;y closed so it doesn't pull on my sweaters or scratch my arms. This notebook has lots of pages so it will last you a while! I highly recommend this notebook and will be buying this from now on!

A great, well put together notebook
I am a senior in University and this notebook has been great for taking notes. The dividers are so helpful to keep each class organized yet altogether. This holds together really well between, my backpack, classes, and at home. Would definitely repurchase for future classes or work. My mom is a writer and she loves this notebook as well.

Use the notebook for various notes and lists. I also use the notebook for doodling plans for diy projects. The perforations make tearing out a sheet an ease. The covers are strong enough to protect the notebook when being left or handled in tough locations.

Wirebound College Ruled Notebook 1 Subject
Five stars for Five Star! Five Star notebooks are a must have in our house. My children go through tons of notebooks, but five-star notebooks are requested by their teachers because they last. I see the same quality with this one. It is holding up great, and my goodness, it has taken a beating and still holding up.

So far, this has been a great spiral! I love the two inner pockets for loose paper. The cover is water resistant which came in handy with my accidental tea spill! Five Star is guaranteed to last all year which is amazing because most spiral covers barely make it a few months in a heavy backpack. Because I can't speak for long term durability, I took off a star; however, the product seems to be of very sturdy quality. I look forward to seeing if it truly lives up to it's name and it seems like it will. I received this product for my honest review.

This notebook is great for not taking and staying organized for personal and work business. It's easy to divide the notebook up for multiple things like finances and shopping lists all the way to to-do lists and work action items and tasks. It's spacious and value oriented. The quality of the notebook is excellent and it is great for people on the go. I bring this notebook to me during the meetings and at conferences. Good stuff. I recommend this product.

I absolutely loved this notebook, It was so easy to use kept me very organized and I love how it had three subjects I'm the type of person that likes to write everything down and go by a list and this notebook definitely helped me do that I will definitely continue to use these books in the future!

Great for University Students
I am a Journalism student at San Diego State University and this notebook has been amazing to keep all of my classes organized. This notebook goes with me from classes, to interview, to home and back again and it has stayed sturdy. As a writing nerd, I appreciate the thick pages and quzlity paper. I definitely recommend this to any student. My mom is an author and this will be her next notebook to keep her stories and notes together.

Really like this notebook
I received this notebook as a sample to review. I actually really liked this notebook. I am a college student and it really came in handy. I'm use to just using the $1 notebooks and having 5 individual ones but I really enjoyed only having to carry around this one. I also liked the quality. It seemed more durable than my $1 notebooks and not like I could accidentally rip out a page by just having it in my backpack. I definitely recommend this if you like having everything in one place.

This notebook was well constructed and sturdy. The sheets tear out easily if you need to tear a sheet out. The wires hold everything well. I had no complaints with this 5 subject notebook. It's great for business meetings, college, and personal use. I wouldn't trust any other notebook.

This was an awesome product! It has helped me stay organized in my schooling and my sons schooling! Great quality. No issues with flimsy paper that rips when you write or rips out of the notebook easily. It's amazing! I dont think I'll ever use anything else.

Five Star has the best products for school and work. I always buy these notebooks for school and other note taking. Not great with markers and other heavy utensils as the paper is thin. Clean lines, great look, quality product.

I received the Five Star Wirebound College Ruled Notebook as a trial. I have to say, it arrived at the perfect time as my daughter needed a new 1 subject notebook for math. I was thoroughly impressed by the cover on it and that it was not a flimsy cardboard material. I also love the folder areas inside of the notebook. When I gave it to my daughter she liked the notebook (but did not like that it was red but that is a teen for you). She used this for a good month, and I did not see it again until school just ended. She said she loved how pencil did not smear on it because with math notebooks, that has been a problem. She also loved that what she wrote stayed clear on the page. Another thing she liked was the coverings did not bend and fold over shoving it in and out of her bookbag. She has already asked that we get these for nect school year.

Paper Quality Has Diminished
The paper quality is has drastically diminished since last years supply. The pages are extremely thin. No matter what you write with, the imprints go through to the second page. Forget writing on the back side of the page. It's disappointing, but not shocking, that a company wants to decrease the quality of their products in order to increase their profit margins. When does it stop? Unfortunately, I'll be looking for another brand and forgo this long used brand.
