Scotch Premium Performance Packaging Tape
This is the best packaging tape in the world. Nothing beats it. It holds my packages shut whether they are shipped, moved or mailed. It is easy to work with and doesn't sliver when I use it. I would recommend it to all my family and friends. It's worth it for the quality and performance.

This tape is the perfect solution for your packing needs. I was trying to use duct tape to tape up a box to ship and duct tape couldn't stay still. It was falling off like nothing. And I went and bought this tape and till this day it hasn't fallen off. In fact I tried to lift up some times and it's so sticked on to the box that the box paper started to give way and tear. It's the best tape in the market!

Scotch High Performance Packaging Tape is AWESOME!
Purchased Scotch High Performance Packaging Tape for a recent move for my son, this tape worked wonders and was so easy to use. The tape dispenser was very easy to use and cut perfectly each time for the boxes and secured boxes so they did not open. I would recommend this tape for anyone that insists on high quality and performance.

I have been using this product for years and it has never let me down! Sticks right and stays tight! I use it for boxes going to storage, boxes used in moving for packages being mailed.
The dispenser makes using it easy. and you never have to worry about finding the end and "picking at it" to start a new piece!!

I prefer to use the Scotch High Performance Packaging Tape because of it's superior strenght & ease of use. The dispenser makes Life so much easier when boxing & packaging something to be delivered & I can always be assured it will arrive intact even though the delivery companies treat the packages like Gorillas.

Moving with no tape problems
I just moved 1000 miles -- an entire household plus a CPA office. We used this product to pack both the home and the office and we had NO TAPE FAILURES. I was very pleased with the ease of use ad the "stickines" of the tape.

Yeah, Tape that's worth using
Have used this tape for many years at work. Have tried the off-brands of similar type.Your definately works better. Cuts easier, but out sticks by far.

I keep it in my desk at work!
I have used this tape many times and for more than just packaging. I keep it at home and at work. I like being able to use the cutting edge and not bothering with scissors. It has great holding power.

Scotch High Preformance Pakaging Tape and Dispens
I love this tape and dispenser. I never have a problem with the tape rolling back in on the roll. The dispenser is easy to use. It helps to keep the tape straight so I can tape my boxes together for shipping. I know that when I use this tape I can be sure that the package I'm sending will not come open.

I periodically send 100 piece puzzles to an older friend of mine who lives in Michigan. I live in Tennessee. I always use High Performance Scotch Packaging Tape to ensure it reaches her in top-notch condition.

Safety in Mailing Packages
This is the best tape I have ever used for packaging items to mail. I have used it on boxes going by UPS, Fed-X, and Postal. I have never had any damage to anything I have shipped. I also use the tape for storage boxes and it lasts so long and doesn't dry out like some tape. I have even used it to close plastic bags sent to me from catalog companies when I return items. Nothing has ever gotten lost and items have always arrived in excellent condition. Just can't get better packaging tape than SCOTT!

I have used Scotch packaging tape for years. Have tried others, but none compare to the quality of Scotch. I also use it to tape the labels on the packages, and to tape on labels on household things, such as names of cereals cut off the boxes and taped onto cereal containers, lists of things contained in boxes, Christmas decorations, etc.

I rrecently moved and this packing tape was great for taping up boxes and securing bubble wrap on my brakeables! It is very sticky and the despenser is great too. Very easy to use.

This is the only kind of packing tape to use! Other kinds get wadded when you try to take them off the roll, etc. This tape always goes where you put it and stays there!! It is very durable and usually takes only one strip!!

My husband and I have been married for almost 38 years and have moved 22 times. I have tried different packing tape sometimes but always go back to a Scotch brand. The dispenser is wonderful, I don't have to ruin my finger nails trying to get scratch off the end piece that always sticks So, I go to the store and get my Scotch brand tape. I also have relatives and friends who live far away, so when I send their birthday or Christmas gifts I really depend on the scotch packaging tape. I have had such ease using Scotch brand tape and tell my relatives and friends about it.

When ever you recive an order in the mail, save the foam peanuts. They will come in handy in the near future. I always keep a plastic garbage bag in a closet ready to be filled. When my grandchildrens birthdays or Christmas is near, I am ready to send their gifts on the way that will arrive unbroken. There is nothing better than Scotch High Performance packing tape to seal my boxes.
I moved recently and can honestly say the packing tape held up better than the expensive purchased boxes.

I tested out Scotch(R) Premium Performance Packaging Tape by shipping 60 binders to Tarrytown from Columbia in NYC. I was surprised how little tape I needed and how well it held the over weight boxes together. Definitely a must have for all shipping needs.

I bought this when we moved and i loved it.It held the boxes together and was easy for my younger children to use ages 10 and 8.It was perfect size to seal each box and stayed smooth after it was put on the box.I had many heavy boxes and never had a problem using this tape.i hope we are not moving anytime soon,i recommended this to my Mother N law since she is moving and she has LOTS of Antiques and she is using this as well and is really pleased with it!!!

Great for boxes with shifting contents
I love this tape! If I use it for something to go into the garage for storage, it is still working the following year. If I send it on a package to GA and it gets rained on, it is still holding strong. It gives me a strong sense of security.

I do a lot of shipping of all kinds of items and scotch packaging tape is my go to tape every time. The post office prefers it over any other type of tape because it stays in place and it doesn't gum up their machines. I love that it always goes on neatly and leaves my packages looking professional.

Tape It Up, And Ship It Out!
Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape with Dispenser is outstanding! The tape itself is so sturdy that it gives me complete confidence when sending packages in the mail, by courier, or even for storage purposes. I honestly feel better knowing I am using Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape.
The dispenser is, well, dispensable! *LOL* It makes it so convenient you do not have to worry about scissors. Now, if you are like me and sometimes finish your taping work a the post office, this is the most convenient way to use the tape. I love this product!

I bought this tape about a week ago and the tape did not have any type of adhesive. The roll basically became undone as soon as you pulled the tape off. On top of that the tape was really expensive. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the product.

REALLY???? No instructions
Have many boxes to make and pack...I specifically paid more for the rolls with dispensers so it would be easy. The easy tab was not connected to the tape.I've just direct 20 minutes trying to thread and another 20 looking for directions and nothing...NOT happy at all...should have just bought the cheaper product

The tape itself is the same ol', same ol' we all know and love. But ... the "new" dispenser is useless. And I do mean USELESS! I fished my old, broken one out of the trash so I could tape a box up for storage. I'm going to try to saw some "teeth" into the new dispenser. Wish me luck.

I am an elementary teacher and use this tape for many many things in the classroom. One of the biggest uses is to tape name plates on student desks. I have never had any trouble until this year. The tape will not stay down on the desks. I bought a multi pack of tape and have tried all the rolls. I have wiped the tables with water, then the school's cleaner and then Clorox wipes. The tape comes up after each cleaning. Help! What do I need to do?

Bad Tape - something's changed in tape formula
This tape sticks to paper but you can easily peel if off without disturbing the paper -- extreme lack of adhesion.

The tape is okay. The dispenser is flimsy and unless you re very careful, the tape will spring back onto thee roll, requiring minutes to get it free again.

BEST Packing Tape Ever. Even Sticks to Cardboard!
I was in need of packing/shipping tape that would actually STICK to the various shipping materials I use, and Stay stuck. Other tapes never kept cardboard boxes closed during transit, or I had to use do much if it, it was rediculous. ScotchВ® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape works better than I ever could have hoped for. I run an online retail shop and usually need to pack and ship multiple packages a day. This tape is the ONLY tape I've found (and believe me I've tried them all) that actually WORKS. I only need one strip to seal a box top securely, due to the tapes extra durable thickness. No more 'X' pattern across box tops, no more going through a roll of tape every few days. I am SO grateful I found this tape, and I HIGHLY recommend I for anyone who packs & ships things on a regular basis. You'll never go back to another brand.

Might be great if you can ever get to it!
Just bought a six pack of this product and there are three problems before I ever use it: The fact that I sought out this web site to complain about this product, which I rarely do about anything, is an indication of my frustration with it,\
1) Instructions for routing the tape through the dispenser are incomprehensible: "Pull tape through tabs" You can't pull tape "through" tabs - there is no "through". There is only under or over. Horrible diagram included does not make this any better. Once you figure that out, you are on your own on how to route tape across cutting bar.\
2) You can't get the tape off the roll without damaging the roll, the dispenser, or both. There is a white bar to indicate where the tape begins on the roll, only it's not at the beginning, its buried somewhere in the first turn of tape on the roll. You have to use a boxcutter or similar to cut carefully cut into the roll and unwind the first turn, losing some amount of product just to create a starting point.\
3) When you attempt to remove the cardboard the instructions are printed on, it tears off and leaves a section under the cutting bar which must be removed to use the tape. This is so difficult to remove it requires needle nose pliers to pull out, and it's so strong that the cutting bar is actually damaged at the four points where it must be removed.\
Normally I love 3M products. My house, garage and workshop are full of 3M products. I trust 3M to deliver a quality product. The tape on this product is probably wonderful, but that doesn't matter if you can't access or use it due to poor packaging and incomprehensible instructions.

I ordered the six pack of the tape in the dispensers. First, I have never figured out (using for years) how to easily get that little piece of cardboard out that gets stuck in the way of the blade. But the tape I just received, the tape is actually installed backwards! Yes, it was easy to take it off and turn it around, but really - who put it together!

I have an internet shop and do a lot of shipping.. I use Scotch tape because I like its quality best.. soooo I bought the scotch heavy duty shipping tape. At first it pulled fine but after using it a while..it was terrible.. DO NOT BUY..

I have been in the packing business most of my life, and this tape is the worst tape I have ever used. I pack a box and 10 minutes later ALL your tape has pulled away from the box. What over priced crud. Nothing like doing twice the work when you already have enough to do when packing a house. Don't waste your $ on this stuff!

I got this tape to close up boxes of items that I am moving into the basement for storage. It is super sticky and very durable. It is not flimsy and one strip of tape accurately seals the box.

I love this tape! I’ve used it for so many years now. It works really great with packages for moving or shipping. It holds well and stays put!

In just a short time, I have used my Scotch brand Shippihg Tape with Dispenser for so many things. I filled a box with old photos and taped it shut, I sealed and mailed a box of AZ goodies to my brother and my daughter used it to create a poster board of her artwork.\

Easy to use, doesn't get tangled.

strong tape for securing boxes
We reuse our boxes for recycling and yard scrap collection. We are so happy that 3m let us try this tape. We use the heavy duty tape to secure the boxes shape, It holds the sides together even with the stress of lateral bending and moisture. Great product.

I am used to using the packing tape so using the Heavy Duty version I can instantly tell this is a more durable tape. It feels stronger and it is stickier. I think it would last a very long time. I received this free to test and review.

This 3M - Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packing Tape is awesome. I especially like to use it to repair the corners of board game boxes that have ripped. It's clear which is great, plus heavy enough that it provides an excellent seal. Thanks for letting me try a sample 3M.

I received a free sample of the Heavy Duty Shipping tape with Dispenser from 3M to try. I used the sample and was impressed with its performance and ease of use. The dispenser was handy and made it easy to seal packages. It's small size enabled me to put the tape in my purse to bring to the Post Office. I would buy this product, and I highly recommend it.

My son complains I use too much tape when I send him things. I worry it will open along the way. This heavy duty shipping tape feels like a better quality tape I used 2 pieces didn't worry and package made it to my son okay.It sticks better than any other I have tried. I LOVE IT.

I am constantly ordering online items, which unfortunately can sometimes constitute quite a few returns. Keeping the tape dispenser in my car is helpful. Luv it...easy to use

I received a free sample of 3M - ScotchВ® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape with Dispenser to evaluate. This packaging tape is the best. It holds securely. I don't have to worry about my packages when I send them through any mail/package carrier. The tape holds strongly and does not tear when applying it.

I used this packing tape on some flat rate boxes being send to my family overseas 4000 miles away. The tape was easy to apply with the provided dispenser and worked well with no problem on my shipment. We tend to pack as much as possible in the flat rate boxes and often I need to use several strips of tape just to hold the flaps of the carton down so I can seal the center where the flaps meet. This tape worked out perfectly for this!

Worked well for pa king boxes. Not s large quantity for big jobs but did the trick. Holds well, quite sticky. Was a little hard to peel off when it got stuck to the roll. Overall I’d use again.

3M tape not just for shipping
This tape does wonders, its not just for shipping, since its clear i have also been using it to fix books that the kids have ripped apart or are to rough with. The dispenser makes it nice and easy to rip off a piece of tape without having to find a scissors to complete the job. Have not had any issues with the tape, also if you feel the thickness of the tape you can tell its heavy duty. If you were to compare this to some generic brand there is a remarkable difference. Definitely choose 3M when possible.\

Great dispenser, strong tape

I received the tape dispenser from 3M to try and I LOVE it. I recently used it in a situation when I didn't have much room to keep the dispenser but with this compact unit it worked out perfect

3M sent me a roll of this tough stuff to test and I'm now a big fan. It holds fast on every box I've tried no matter the texture or the load. Once it's stuck, it's staying or else you'll damage the paper it's stuck to. The dispenser works perfectly just like the other packing tape dispensers I've used on Scotch products. Perfect for heavy moving boxes!
