This is the best product made from any leading company
I was very impressed on the water proof tape. I have a wound with heavy leakage and the tape stayed on contact with the bandage. I even showered with it on contact. I am very pleased. You don't need scissors to cut the tape. Overall top rated and will continue to use all of your products including bandaids that I have in my home.

LOVE NOT ONLY THE BANDAGES BUT THE TAPE THAT IS WATERPROOF IS GREAT. DON'T HAVE TO WORRY THAT IT WILL COME OFF AND THAT THE WOUND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HEAL OR BE PROTECTED. REALLY BUY THIS PRODUCT!

My husband had an intravenous chemo line in his arm and we were told he could not get it wet, so showering was almost impossible. I found this tape at my local drug store and used it with saran wrap, being careful to seal all the seams. Worked like a dream! He was thrilled to take a REAL shower. It was soft and stretched nicely giving him a comfortable flexibility. I would highly recommend this as a first aid kit must have, you won't regret it!

I have had orbital decompression surgery on both my eyes. My eyes protrude and eyelids do not cover them at night. I was advised to tape them both shut while sleeping due to the extreme drying out. I tried every product I could trying to find one that actually would do the job, and I finally found one. Nexcare tape!! It is soft and flexible allowing me to put my face into a pillow without pulling off the tape or being so stiff that I would pull it off during my sleep. It is wonderful. I am so happy to let you know how this tape has actually helped me in such a great way. I don't know what I would do without it. Please never stop making this product.

Great product. I previously tried other bandages and tape and found this tape to work the best since it stays put, but it's stretchy and flexible which makes it comfortable. I have to use it daily for a foot problem and it stays put all day and I don't even know it's there. Plus, cost-wise, it's a great value.

Hi! I work in retail and during the winter months your fingers get really dry and cracked from constant use of anti-bacterial hand gel and using touch screens and handling money. This tape has great grip for your fingertips and helps to prevent splitting skin aound your nails. I shared this tape with my co-workers and now they all use it too. The tape stays where you put it and does not fall off or slip. This tape has saved my fingers from painful cracking. The color blends well with most skin tones. A MUST for any cashier.

I just had surgery and had to change the dressing as many times a day, this tape kept the dressing in place no matter how wet it got from drainage. I never had to worry that my wound would be exposed as it healed. Thanks for making a top notch product.

Best blister prevention/protection I have ever had!
As an avid martial artist and runner my feet are continuously developing blisters that make doing the activities I love hard to enjoy. Fed up with regular bandages that fell off during activity and liquid bandages that stung open sores, I found the absolute waterproof tape and decided to give it a try. I didn't think a product existed that could so perfectly fit my needs! When I am barefoot in the dojo it protects the balls of my feet from developing blisters and doesn't fall off when I sweat. When I go running in the rain or mud I don't have to worry about stopping to adjust tape every few miles because this stuff stays in place regardless of how wet my feet get. Best of all, when I do get blisters that pop and make walking/running painful this tape provides the perfect amount of cushioning without being too bulky. As someone with a latex allergy I also greatly appreciate the fact that this material does not irritate my skin! Thank-you so much for developing this product and thereby helping me enjoy my favorite activities even more!

Product withstands childhood play.
My son needed to use this when he was hurt earlier this year. I really was impressed with how well it stood up to him playing outdoors and especially how waterproof it really was! I really didn't think it would work that well or be waterproof (products always say they are..but generally aren't). My son was able to play and get wet and not worry about it and neither did I. Since that time, I keep this stocked in our first aid kit. Its the only one I buy! And the price ain't too bad either!

My husband, at 75, loves his bowling. We bowl 4-5 times a week, in leagues and just for fun with friends. His arthritis was really a problem in his right hand, fingers were really hurting, so much he could barely pick up a ball, much less bowl. Using the Nexcare Waterproof Tape on his bowling fingers, supporting the joints, enables him to be back on the lanes and knocking pins down. An average of 182, not too shabby.

Bought a roll, not cheap. Tried and total fail. Would not stick to my skin or even to itself. How a company like 3M can make such a poor product is beyond me. I can only assume you need a secret password to get it to work.

I used this product recently on my legs during a Tough Mudder Challenge race and it was outstanding. Over 10 miles of running, crawling on hands and knees, through mud pits, swamps and ice plunges and it stayed on the whole time. Amazing stuff.

Received a pack of free samples. Working in food service it's important if we get a cut to wear a bandage along with a glove. Other bandages came off from hand sweating inside glove. This product stayed on. Great product. Purchased some to place in first aide box at work. Coworkers have used and are delighted.

This tape is absolutely amazing, it has so many uses I love it because it is not harsh on the skin which is extremely important especially when healing from surgery keeping the area clean is a must and this stuff will stick to gauze bandages but not tear up your delicate skin

This is a must have in all my first aid kits, which I have three. Car/boat and home, with being on the water a min of two times a week and with grand kids. Theres all ways going to be a nick or cut or worst. This product makes it easy and simply to cover up the situation and being H20 proof its going to stay on.

I have four children...four klutzy, but lovable children. It's an understatement to say that we have our fair share of bumps and scrapes. With using any of the Nexcare brands, I am confident of the quality. I can personally say that the "Absolute Waterproof Tape" is just as it states...waterproof! Plus, it adheres so well. I don't have to change the bandage every 1/2 hour like the other brands. Thank you, Nexcare!

Really, Really waterproof!
I purchased this product about 2 months ago. I house sit/ pet sit for a neighbor and thir dogs are constantly in the pool....living in Scottsdale, Az, the desert heat is even too much for the dogs! :) While dring them off I always get wet and this particular product not only is waterproof but keeps the covered area constantly dry!

Holds gauze on without damaging the skin.
I use this product frequently. I take care of my elderly mother who has this fragile skin. She gets skin tears easily. I put a non stick dressing on it and secure it with this wrap. It holds great and doesn't damage the surrounding skin when you take it off.

I purchased this tape when my son developed blisters on his feet from his new football cleats. I had tried every tape out there, but this is the only one that would hold the mole skin in place during his entire play time. The blisters just wouldn't heal up until I used this product. This tape is so flexible and easy to work with, and it also has an added cushioning factor. Thank you Nexcare!

After Another Visit To The ER...
Our physician treated my wife for the serious burns she got from mishandling a very hot brisket ( it landed in her lap) when she was pulling out of the oven... The treatment involved applying gauze and wrappings to her legs and we were instructed to keep the wrappings and the wounded skin beneath them from getting wet...
Our Pharmacist recommended Nexcare products to protect her injury. I can testify that the product worked even better than I expected.
Most so-called "waterproof " products don't seem to consider a wounded skin's naturally occurring wet response in the healing process.
The Nexcare product's sealing and adhesive qualities seemed to be the best that we have experienced these days.
The Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape prevented the silver oxide treated gauze from falling away from her skin, even when she was showering.
We have used other, cheaper products in our lives, but the is no substitute for quality products that really work.
Thank you for creating such a product! :)
PS: It is my fondest wish that we might never have to use your product at all in the future, but knowing my wife's propensity for calamity, maybe I'd better stock up.. :)

Sticks well and does keep wound dry
We only use the Nexcare waterproof tape for my husband's abdominal wound as it stays in place and keeps the wound area dry. We have tried others and they didn't stick plus this tape is more comfortable against the skin.

This product works great! I am a teacher and wash my hands constantly during the day. When I get that occasional cut, I cover it with a bandaid and this tape and it will not get wet (or dirty) all day.

My mother recently had cataract surgery, and had to have a bandage around her eye. Being elderly, her skin is very sensitive, so we had to be careful with the bandage! This not only kept the water out of the dressing, but it was very gentle, soft, and easy to remove. I've used it several times since for when the little bit of padding is needed--love it!

Stays on in tub and shower
I purchased this on sale last summer and recently had a chance to use it on a large cut and scrape I got from a loose piece of metal on the screen door. The area was so sensitive to the touch that I had to have something to cover and protect it from rubbing against pants and pajamas. I used the tape to hold a large band aid in place because it kept coming off when I would get dressed or in the tub or shower. I dreaded when it came off. I would just cringe when even the air hit the cut/scraped skin. This tape kept the area covered regardless of the activity I was doing. I kept it covered the majority of the time between treating it with antiseptic and re-bandaging it. I was glad when It began healing and wasn't so tender so I could remove the bandage some.

great for hard to tape areas.
Love this tape. I use it for hard to tape areas of the hand and foot and don't have to worry about it coming off before I'm ready to remove the bandage.

I actually bought this tape to cover a small tattoo I have on my neck when I have work. I was tired of sticking a big bandaid on the back of my neck so I bought this! Goes with my skin tone and sticks all day!

My daughter plays volleyball, one day she came home with a finger injury, her finger was all swollen and purple, took her to the ER and once I knew it wasnt broken, the nurse, also a mom of a sports kid, advised me to just go to the drugstore and buy this tape and I did, got a finger brace, taped it firm and in two days removed it, perfectly fine, great glue!

Bought the tape because my heels crack in winter. Seemed like the perfect solution except it doesn't work. Applied to clean dry skin and it fall off immediately. It barely sticks to its self let alone skin.

Excellent product for sports use
Although my primary reason for buying this tape is for first aid use, my husband regularly uses it to cushion sensitive areas on his hand from abrasion by his golf glove. The tape stays in place and because it is waterproof, is not affected by perspiration. Overall, it is a great product.

Love the Nexcare Absolute Waterproof because I am an active person, who goes to the gym to workout and then take a shower afterwards and it sticks afterwards. I also like that it is made in the USA and Dermatologist tested

bought this absolute tape to secure gauze on a 6" stitched wound on my neck, went outside to cut the lawn 20-25 mins. it was loose put it back on then walked downstairs found it laying on the kitchen floor. if it can't do any better than that I don't why this product is on the market.

I keep this tape on hand at all times. Truly waterproof. I use it to keep my shoes from making blisters and all kinds of things. My brother injured his hand last year and was told he couldn't get it wet and was told not to take showers, but we used a plastic baggy and used this tape to form a waterproof seal so he could take a shower. He was so happy.

I bought this product last week. My daughter had major surgery on her back and needs to have 2 incisions cover and kept dry for 6 weeks. This tape has absolutely no stick to it no matter how much i press it. It doesn't stay on when moves even a slight bit. Not sure if I got a defective batch or something but certainly not what is advertised. Very disappointed and back to square one :(

I was excited to try this because I wanted to use it for a more preventive measure. My husband delivers tires all across the state we live in. He goes through so many high quality leather gloves because of handling so many tires. I needed something that would add a layer of protection to his skin in the event a finger of the glove finally wore through and he didn’t have a back up pair. This product was perfect for that. It’s supple and moves with him as he works. It’s more than enough to help him get through a deliveries until he gets to a place where he can pick up a new pair. \
As previously mentioned, I did receive a free sample and in that, it is a free solution!

Many items say they are water proof; however, this one is! I taped my ankle up and spent the day at the beach and in the water. It kept the saltwater out and stayed on for over 12 hours! Thank you 3M!

I tried this product and it does a good job of staying on when getting wet. Its thick and covers an area well. Make sure it is completely laying flat when you put it on because if a corner is up, it will no longer lay down or at least it wouldn't for me. It's cushion protects the cut as well.

Abolutely waterproof and flexible.
I received the product free from 3M. The 3M Nexcare waterproof tape stays on after getting wet. The tape is comfortable to use because it flexes and stretches. A great product!

Best medical tape on the market!
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review of the tape and I am thrilled that I got the chance to try this! I use tape on a daily basis for medical reasons and this is the first one I have tried that 1. Stayed on all day, 2. Didn’t even loosen or fall off through heavy sweating, and 3. Came off painlessly without ripping out any hair. I will forever be a loyal buyer of this tape now that I know how superior it is! This tape truly is waterproof but not at the expense of your skin - when you are ready to remove the tape it peels off easily without causing any discomfort. Two giant thumbs up!!

When I received the 3M waterproof tape to try. I thought I would try it around a bandage (from a cut I received the day before) while I washed up. The tape stayed put. This tape will go in my first aid kit.

Sticks without being sticky!
I had some new shoes to break in, and was fearful of those dreaded blisters. I used Nexcare Absolute Waterproof tape to the back of my ankles and gave them a spin around town working on those shoes. I walked for at least 3 miles, and not once did I experience any blisters! The tape held securely in place the entire time. When I got home and removed the tape, the process was super easy. It didn't hurt at all. There was no sticky residue left behind either. The tape is easy to cut, thick without being too thick, and is simple to use. I can see this being a benefit over large cuts and scrapes that need waterproof protection as well.

3M gave me a free sample of Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape to evaluate. I like that the tape is flexible and stays put even on joints. The package says it's waterproof, it seems to hold up in the shower but I haven't been able to try t out in the pool yet. It's great that it is made in the USA too.

I'm a swimmer and love to surf so I love that I can use this tape in the water. It holds tight, feels comfortable and is waterproof. I used this when I needed it on my ankles, wrists and knees and it wasn't stiff or too right and lasted in the water. I recommend this when you need tape for protection when doing sports and it really works.

I was provided a free sample to try and offer my honest opinion. The first thing I noticed about Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape was the texture. It has a soft, padded feel to it. I really like that. It’s also very flexible. I used it to cover a recent scrape just under my right knee. It has good adhesion, yet came off easily with no pulling or residue. I wore it for more than 24 hours. I slept with the tape on and was surprised that it remained in place firmly until I was ready to remove it, even after being wet! I would purchase this for myself and recommend it to others.

The new Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape is most impressive for many reasons. Not only is this first aid tape cushioned for superior comfort, but it's also formulated to move with your body depending on where it's applied thanks to its flexible and stretchy material! In addition to that, this tape is also waterproof, so it has serious staying power even when you get wet. You can swim, bathe & shower, and even exercise because it's sweat proof as well! This is definitely my first choice in first aid tape because of all the benefits it holds. My husband is a drummer and has been having an issue with developing a blister under his wedding ring. This waterproof tape worked great as a buffer between his skin and the ring. It stayed in place perfectly. I realize this is not exactly what this product was designed for, but it goes to show how versatile and convenient it can be.

I received a sample of Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape for free in exchange for a review. I live in Florida and wear open toed sandals all the time. This leads to frequent injuries to my feet unfortunately. Recently, I ripped my toe open quite severely trying to move a freezer. I wrapped thick gauze around it and wrapped it with the waterproof tape and went on about my day, still in my sandals. It also rains a lot in Florida. So after several hours of already wearing this tape, I end up in a downpour. My feet were soaked. This tape held tight. The gauze was soaked and the edges of the tape looked more worn, but it stayed on. This is about as much as I could ask for a waterproof tape. I didn’t expect it to completely keep water out of the wound - that would be nearly impossible when sloshing through puddles on a rainy day. But it did exactly what I wanted by not coming undone. The wound stayed relatively clean and the tape and gauze were redone to last another day.

Flexible Strong & Waterproof
I like the adhesiveness of this tape, it stays on & holds even when it gets wet. The tape is flexible and allows movement without worrying about it coming off. It does not hurt when you removing the tape from the skin. It does well for wounds that need gauze or cotton which needs to be held in place on the body.

Works wonderfully and as needed,
This tape really is waterproof. I accidentally woe it when I showered and it didn’t come off at all. I also have a sprained toe and it’s solid enough tape to assist with keeping my toe stabilized. This was a sample and it couple not have come at a better time. I have to say that it doesn’t smell nice, but that is not the most important feature, great product that I will definitely buy!

This tape is awesome, and sticks to skin very well. My 3 year old son seems to always have scratches on the tips of his toes from going barefoot on concrete and rock walls and this is the only tape that will actually make a bandage stick to his toes.

I received this product free from 3M to sample. I used it to bandage my child’s hand after a fall. I placed some gauze on the area and used this waterproof tape to secure the gauze. I was sure to place the tape to cover all sides of the gauze. When washing hands, the tape stayed securely in place. It did not show any signs of water leaking through and the wound was able to heal without issue.

Doesn't irritate your skin
This tape surprisingly didn't irritate my skin as much as I thought it might. My 5 year old didn't even realize it was there (and he HATES stickers, lol). It holds just as well. Removal was clean. No tape residue left behind.

3M provided this tape for me to try and I put it to work right away as a reinforcement for my husband's blood sugar monitor. His sensor falls off during heavy workouts and he needed a good waterproof tape that he could still use the monitor with, but kept it on through workout and shower. This tape did exactly what we needed it to do. He could scan his sensor through the tape, and it held the sensor perfectly for days on end. Unfortunately, after the first day the edges of the tape lift up slightly and collect shirt fuzz and continue to peel. It's not good for long term use, but for a day at least, it's the perfect solution.

Suddenly need antibiotics for 6 to 8 weeks and used this to seal my PICC line in saran wrap and press and seal. It kept the water out, all be it i used probably too much tape.\

the only thing i could wish for is the tape was wider than 1 inch so i could feel more comfortable and probably not use as much

Nice and sticky but not painful!
It took me a moment to write my review on my free Nexcare waterproof tape because I didn't need it. Unfortunately my luck had changed and I was grateful to have this in my first aid kit! I cut myself and I used this tape and it was waterproof! I hate when tape is supposed to be then it gets wet when I wash my hands or shower and I'm left with a wet bandage that either gets my skin all pruny or I have to take it off and expose my wound. This worked so nicely and it wasn't painful to take off.
