Advanced Photo Paper, 56 lbs., Glossy, 4 x 6, 100 Sheets/Pack

This is the same photo paper that comes in the HP02 value packs. The high gloss finish is nice and the weight of the paper is good. The paper dries fast, but it takes a few minutes for your picture to "develop" completely. Colors are not as bright as they appear on your screen. Your photos will look like the ones you get from the drugstore. I rate this paper as okay for everyday use, just to get your pictures on paper to show everyone.

I am a semi-professional landscape photographer. While I recommend HP's Premium Plus photo paper for enlargements, the Advanced Photo Paper is great for printing large batches of 4X6 photos for inclusion in my photo albums. It dries almost instantly, meaning there is much less chance of the ink sticking to the plastic of the album sleeves, and the color stays preserved with no fading for years, especially if used in conjunction with HP Vivera inks. The image sharpness and color saturation are excellent as well.

I've been using the advanced paper for a long time, and really like it for my prints!

Same problems as Drrobbins. At least she got the photo paper to jam, my printer will not even pick it up.

Going out now to use a friends printer to print the photo.

This paper provides realistic color and is quick drying. The sharpness of the photos is not as great as HP Premium Plus paper, but is less costly and dries much quicker.

I was surprised of the quality of the photo paper it was a lab quality print.

Just received my order the other day. The ordering/delivery system was flawless. Haven't used the product yet but since it is the same as the sample pack that came with the new printer, I'm confident that it will be top notch.

I have a continuous problem with the ink easily smearing when I print with this paper, and check B&W in the print box. I am using a HP 8500 printer with HP 940XL inks. No matter how many days they dry, they smear and the ink lifts off. But, if I print the same with color settings (a b&w photo), the inks don't smear when dry. But the color cast to the old b&w photos is unattractive, not to mention a waste of color ink.

Why is this and how can it be avoided?

This paper appears to be incompatible with my HP Office jet Pro 8620 as the slick back of the paper does not allow it to advance when the printer tries to pick it up. Poor product planning HP.

Got the paper to make copies of pictures I had taken of family.  They loved them as well as a neighbor lady whose cat i had taken pictures of.

I bought this about a month ago and when I printed out photos I was satisfied on how great the photos came out from the printer !

I bought this photo paper a few weeks ago. I’m delighted with the high-quality photos it produces. I used it to print pictures from my nephew’s wedding. The photos are beautiful and the paper quality is worthy a special occasion.

Have just purchased HP printer and signed up for the Instant Ink program.  Now that I feel free to print I order the Photo Paper.  The 4 x 6 size is perfect for my albums.  I really love the fact that it doesn't smear and my prints are clear.  Great product!  HP is the best!

I bought 100 sht/4x6 of HP Advanced Glossy Photo Paper, HP 64XL Black ink and a HP 64XL Tri-color ink.  They were shipped to me free.  What time saver!!
