I awoke to a bed bug crawling on my queen sized bed and flicked it off onto the ground this morning after placing multiple traps on the floor and between the mattress and box spring. At first I thought the traps were likely not as effective since my mattress rests on the floor. So, I found the bug and steered it to the trap with my cellphone "flashlight" to make it want to hide in the trap. I watched for several minutes as it struggled to climb up to the raised sticky interior section, get too worn out, then walk back out and this was an ADULT BED BUG! I have used Raid products for decades as does my mother, but this one should go back to the drawing board. For those of you who just happened to catch them in your home, I wonder how many more might have gone free. There's no telling how many of those blood sucking fugitives are lurking about. I'm so glad they were on clearance and that Target only had one box left because I could have lost way more money had I stocked up expecting they would work well.
