Good quality mid size printer
I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This printer was easy to install and compatible with laptop Good quality black and white printer with easy interface excellent for mid level use. If you use only black and white this would be a great printer. Can hold 250 sheets of paper. Good quality scanner. Really like the touch screen connectivity Very fast print jobs Overall quality printer for home office use.

Another quality product from Brother
I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. My home office is lacking in space so a clean and quality printer is what I would look for. After receiving the product in the mail, it was a very simple and quick set up. Instructions were very clear. Once set up was complete the printer did the rest of the installation of software via the internet. Printer wakes from sleep mode very quickly and prints immediately. Having a printer that reacts so quickly to the function is essential in today`s life. Maybe one feature I would want to see changed is the double sided printing option more clear. Not every time does the printer acknowledge one sided printing is wanted. Overall opinion of the product would be very satisfied. If someone I knew was in the marker for a new printer I would recommend.

That`s by far my favorite feature. I wasn`t expecting the speed it delivers. I`m used to other printers that you have to wait 30 seconds while it prints. The setup and connection to WiFi was also super easy. I had it out of the box and printing within 15 minutes. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The only real complaint I have is the printer ran through a whole tray of paper when it should have only been a couple of pages. That could totally be related to the document and not the printer though. Overall, I love it. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone. It`s reliable, fast, and super easy to use. You can`t get much better than that!

Best printer for the money
I love this printer. Print many docs each week, this unit is reliable, effective, and efficient. Plus, if you go a minute without printing, there is no head cleaning or cligs like an interesting no jet. Images to text this printer makes docs fast. Get connectability with WiFi and air print. Easy to set up and get right to work.

So far everything is perfect. Love the fact we do not have to buy ink every couple of weeks like we did with our old printer. Being able to print 3000 pages before needing to replace the ink is great.

This is an excellent printer for the home user. All features work flawlessly both wired as well as wireless. My only complain is that it doesn't have 5 Ghz wireless compatibility, which seems to be the standard frequency for most modems now a days, so you will need to make sure that your modem has 2.4Ghz frequency in order tu use the wireless feature. This is not clearly identified in the instructions and takes some digging around in the printer specs to realize. Overall very satisfied with the product.

I expected it to. Had one at work that only printed. It worked fine (I retired), and the best thing was that it told you when you were low on print stuff, never faded, and when it got so low it might have, it quit. Made you go get more toner. This one does more, same quality, lower price, and I expect the same reliability.

Prints great. Can do two sided printer, and it is a laser printer, so no silly ink to worry about. It also makes copies-great! It can even scan images to your computer. And, all this for a very reasonable price.

Easy to use & install printer
If you want to print from your PC or smartphone, this printer installation is a piece of cake. Just insert the toner/drum into the printer, plug it in, turn it on, enter your wifi password using the built-in LCD screen, install the Brother iPrint&Scan app on your smartphone and install the driver software on your PC. This whole process will take about 30 minutes but most is just waiting for the software install and clicking "Next". Connecting it to Google Print is more challenging as Brother doesn't seem to give any information on how to do it. I read through various reviewer's tips and here are the steps to connect the HL-L2395DW to Google Cloud Print for so you can print from your Chromebook.\
\
1. Go to your printer's IP address with an internet browser: something like 196.148.1.10 (find out this info. from Brother iPrint&Scan app in "Machine Status").\
2. Click on "Network" tab on top, then "Protocol" link on left side.\
3. At "Google Cloud Print" section, click on "Advanced Setting".\
4. Follow prompt to register. You must click on "OK" on the printer's LCD screen to confirm registration.\
5. Go to the Google Cloud Print site to confirm that printer is registered.\
6. Select printer and click on "Share" to give others (like your family members and friends) access to print to this printer.\
\
I subtracted a star since Brother should make Google Cloud Print part of its installation process for those who opt-in.

Best printer for my needs
Perfect for my small home office.\
Responds quickly and prints are crisp and with the embedded wifi I am able to print from any of my computers regardless of location it's also very cost effective. I have no negative comments period.

Using this printer on a home wifi network. The instructions could have been a little clearer on connecting to the wifi but I was able to figure it out with no problems. The speed and quality are excellent. We print wirelessly from our home iMac, iPhone and android phone without any issues at all. The scan and copy features also work great. Have used this printer for about 2 months now and would not go back to our old ink jet printer. The quality this Brother printer produces is far superior and fast.

The printer is great and the only problem I have is when I print envelopes,\
it wrinkles the last corner. I had DW2280 before I bought this one and it did the same\
thing with envelopes.

Great B & W Printer and Scanner
I replaced my previous color printer with this brother black and white printer because I was just going through too many ink cartridges. They also always clogged. From my brief time using my new Brother printer, I am most happy.

CD did not have the need drivers. When it got to that part it said it was going to upload them. WRONG no way no how. Went on line same thing. Wanted you to down load huge big files for everything. Just want the printer. Had to buy a cable and connect it that way then go wireless. Spent almost three hour on it. \
Guess it works ok. Just needed a wireless printer. It was only $10. more then just the printer alone.

The hardware works as ever touched prompt cleared copiesthe software to print from your phone is less than intuitive and doesn't seem to stay and has required reinstal. I've had lots of brother printers over the decades and all in all I like them and I keep buying them nothing is absolutely perfect but for the money they are.

Had printer for over 2 months absolutely nothing to complain about. \
Haven’t even had to replace the start up ink cartridge supplied with the printer.\
Have printed at least 100 pages and still no indication of running out yet.\
Our old printer was horrible with ink cartridges.\
So happy we bought an ink jet printer.

Long lasting ink cartridge!

I love this printer, except for the fact that I one time, had to reconnect it to my router, and was having some difficulty, because I kept choosing the wrong connection. It turns out, I was trying to connect to 5GHz, instead of the slower 2.4GHz. Once I chose it, no more problem. A great investment, if you ask me!

Near perfect but not quite
Purchased this print to replace a similar one from another manufacturer. Everything thing is great except I cannot seem to get the printed characters dark enough. Other than that, the price of the unit and toner is great.

I don't have to worry about ink refills. Ink getting low. Cleaning ink cartridge. It drove me crazy. Now I load my with toner, print for 3000 pages. No color, but the black print is crisp and clear every time. It holds about three hundred pages. Fast and never jams. I connect directly to my computor, but this printer can be connected to Wifi. Oh, the tone is reasonably priced.

easy set up and dependable
I was afraid it would be difficult to set up and get it running since I'm not real tech savvy but it was very easy! In only minutes I was printing and copying. I am beyond happy. I love being able to print remotely too, such an improvement from my last printer. Love my new printer!

Great job taking my wireless phone and desk computer print jobs quickly and easily through to a fast finish. Being able to copy with two sided ability really saves paper for me. Large paper tray is terrific. Able to run big jobs without reloading.

I am pleased with this Brother printer. The one suggestion I would have is to edit the manual to explain further and more clearly how it operates. I have had to learn by trial and error in some functions.

No ink tanks to run dry. Fast clean copies. Should have gotten rid of my ink jet printers years ago. These laser printers are far superior to the ink jet types, and unless you absolutely need color, they are also less expensive to operate.

Good price, wifi connection shaky
The price and overall value of this printer/scanner is good, and the print quality is excellent. The only concern is that sometimes it drops the wifi connection for no known reason, and then I have to redo the password, etc....which is a pain. I would still buy it again, but it is not perfect....but what printer is?

This is my first monochrome laser, and I am learning that I do not miss the color much (I do have a lesser color inkjet if color needed). The scanning works for black and white as well as color, which was unexpected. My only complaint after 3 months is that when you hand feed a page or paper it seldom tracks straight, and often creases or wrinkles the page. If you are very meticulous about aligning paper it works well, but seems to be a lot of trouble.

This is a great quick printer for home use. The only complaint I have is that when it prints, the lights in the room where the printer is located pulsate. It is as if the circuit is overloaded. Not a show stopper because it does print very well.

I love this printer...there was a time I needed a color inkjet but I don't anymore. I wanted a clean, simple laser printer to save money on ink and a printer/copier that scanned as well. All I need now is black and white. This printer is fast, efficient.

Easy setup and nice printing; scanning is less goo
Good price and easy setup. Wireless printing takes a few seconds to respond, but it prints fast and well. Scanning is not too satisfactory: the color is too light compared with the original. And there's no way to adjust the level of lightness/darkness. High-resolution scan is VERY slow. I had wanted to scan a booklet, and gave up after 3 pages.

Just printed taxes. Lots of pages. Love two sided printing. Economical.\

Very good black and white WiFi printer. User friendly and copies quickly. I would recommend that you purchase this model because of the viewer screen which makes it extremely easy to use. Also, printer is the right size for a smaller room yet operates like a huge sized printer.

I am happy with my purchase of Brother HL-L2395DW printer overall. Solid printer with great features. Installation was fast. The only issue I ran into was configuring duplex printing. I tried all kinds of things including downloading and installing unnecessary Brother software, which did not give me the option of configuring duplex printing.

The printer has worked flawlessly. Until I replaced the toner cartridge. After installation, I have been unable to clear the warning telling me it needed toner. \
Spent time online looking for solutions. I have done an update on the printer & used a new, Brother brand cartridge that I bought with the machine.

I wanted a basic B&W laser printer that would work well with my 10-year old MacPro desktop. So far, this printer has consistently met my needs. It starts and prints fast each time, and scanning has been reliable as well. I have no complaints with its performance.

This printer was easy to set up and use. I was using it at home and really needed one for my classroom, so I brought it to work. I have had it for over a year and have only changed the toner once (and I print a lot). It is economical and efficient.

So far I have only performed simple tasks but the printer/scanner has worked well. If you need a good printer/scanner for home use at a reasonable price give this a look.

Great product! Works great, used it as an add on to my network, but placed in my private office. I love that Brother products work so well, yet are not over-the-top expensive!

A Good basic home office printer
Was very easy to setup and install. I use mine strictly via WiFi. The color menu on the printer makes it very easy to navigate thru to accomplish you’re task wether it’s scanning, copying or even double sided.

This is our second Brother "all in one" laser printer. We get great print quality at a very reasonable speed and cost . Our first was a workhorse for many years and this latest version promises to be the same. In our experience we have found only one down-side to these printers. They intermittently loose connection and drop off the network, requiring a router reset to bring them back online. With several different Windows OS's and routers over the years we have experienced this same behavior. Both in wired and WiFi configurations.

I have had nothing but good things to say about Their printers till I purchased the 2395 and the 2390. The HL-L2390 was the biggest disappointment. The 2390 I tried to use at an event we were doing. It printed once and then would print unless you took out the cartridge and put it back in after every print. If you didnt you kept getting an 01 error. We tried everything that the internet said and what Brother said the fix was. Thirty minutes of trying and losing the trust of my client we went home not knowing if we would be asked to return next year. We had the same type of problem with the 95 but had and HP inkjet there to save the day.

I bought this printer because my regular printer was out of ink. This printer was like a quick fix thinking, and I thought " I will trash it in a month anyway," but after I see it functionning it become my favorite black and white printer.

Prints fast and does two sided without manual intervention. Toner cartridge cost is less than what I was paying for ink cartridges. Print is clear. Toner cartridge change is easy. It holds a reasonable about of paper.

It just works as it should
Set up was easy. Integrated well with my personal net. It just works as it should. While the printer is laser B&W only, the scanner works in color and will print to my color printer in color.

Typical Brother Efficiency
I have owned Brother products for many years, and have always found them reliable. I wish this printer had an ADF and it would be perfect.

I have many Brother Product... Printer, Embroidery Machine and Scan n Cut. I'm very satisfy but I am very satisfied with the Brother products, I have two printers, an embroidery and sewing machine and the Scan n Cut. But my only problem is that in Puerto Rico the only distributor of Brother products for my embroidery machine and the Scan n Cut, does not have the products.

I purchased the brother laser printer due to the problems and cost I had with my inkjet printer. \
Right out of the box the set up was simple.\
Immediately it found all our wireless devices from which we can now print with ease.\
We choose reliable black and white\
over unreliable and costly inkjet printing.

This laser printer is very easy to setup. Software and firmware are right-on with respect to compatibility with my Windows 10 desktop machine. Has worked well for the first couple months of ownership. It is fast. A little noisy but not excessively so. I recommend this compact laser printer.

A Brother laser is my go-to printer!

Great printing, but networking is terrible.
This is our 1st laser printer. I love the laser printing. But the networking set up is terrible. It is too difficult to go from hard wire to wireless networking. I have to re enter the pin every time. This takes 2 stars away for me. If you don't switch networks it would probably be a 4 to 5 star printer.

Everything I wanted in a printer.
Vety easy to set up. I really like the wireless connectivity. One of the best features is the seperation of the toner cartridge from thr euser roller. This makes replacement toner much cheaper. If you wish to reload the toner cartridges, there is no memory chip to mess with.

I love that it is easy to use and you don't have to worry about ink drying out,although the cartridges are a little pricey, they are not as much as the ink, but then we are only using the black.

Great Google Drive Compatible Laser Printer
Was having issues getting a non-compatible printer to work with my Chromebook. This printer advertised Google Drive compatibility among others. It works great with my Chromebook and was easy to setup. It works well and was a reasonably priced laser printer. Have had no problems. Highly recommend if you need a quality printer that is compatible with a Chromebook.

Efficient and cost effective
I like the fact that it has only one ink cartridge. As a result, I am not buying a slew of over-priced cartridges every couple of months! Quality of printing is very acceptable and it works nicely by wi-fi. Easy to set up.
