Brother MFC-L2750DW Monochrome Compact Laser All-in-One Printer with 2.7" Color Touchscreen, Single-

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. PACKAGING: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I found the packaging to be very well thought through but was surprised about the inclusion of both a CD and telephone cable (presumably for the fax capability) as these seem like things that would be omitted from a printer in 2017. I was concerned about the styrofoam pieces disintegratingId everywhere but they held up well and were easy to place back in the box for recycling.SET-UP: The printer was surprisingly light and easy to remove from the box and so too were the orange safety / packing parts on the toner cartridge. I liked having to remove each adhesive which gave me the added benefit of learning about each side of the printer without having to look at the manual, resulting in a printer & accompanying toner cartridge that`s easy to set-up. I was a little surprised that I had to set the date & time manually in order to access Apps on the printer but once I did that, everything was working as expected.UTILITY: This printer is not super quiet, has a bit of a consistent low hum and auto sleep mode has to be manually set (and so too does eco mode). The driver installation and simple WiFi / AirPrint printing made it easy to use from all of my devices and the print-outs were of very high quality, even from the first print. The app integration (e.g. Dropbox) seems useful but it was a bit more complicated to set-up on the printer itself so for those wanting this type of integration, it`s probably best to just use those apps from a device like a laptop, smartphone or tablet and print directly from there.PRICE: While I received this item for free, I think the price point is reasonable especially given the included two years worth of toner which was highly unexpected but very welcome. The additional cartridge comes packaged in such a way that makes it feel like the toner ink will last for over a year and not be dry by that point.OVERALL: This is a great little laser printer, the packaging was well thought through and there`s zero inconvenience in getting it up and running in a home or office. It works great wirelessly and delivers a terrific black and white laser print on all sorts of paper. The only negative, at least for me, has been the amount of power draw and consumption, which in my home office results in flickering lights when it is actively printing or even in standup (when not in sleep mode).

My previous ink jet printer was slow, would disconnect from wi-if randomly, and frequently wouldn`t print. This printer has been great for printing numerous documents quickly and without any hiccups. It`s functionality is very impressive for being so compact. Most printers with the same capabilities seem to be almost double in size. Set up was a piece of cake. It comes fully assembled, so all you have to do is insert the toner cartridge. The Quick Setup Guide is very simple and easy to follow with lots of helpful pictures. It connected to our wi-if in seconds and hasn`t randomly disconnected once. I love that I can AirPrint from my Apple devices (IPhone, IPad) without having to download anything or jump through any hoops. The touch screen is easy to use without a ton of bells and whistles. The design is clean and functional. It has everything I need without being overly complicated. I think anyone would be able to set it up and print even if they aren`t tech savvy. I`ve also been impressed with its durability. I have two children under 4 years old who can dismantle and break anything. Thus far, they haven`t managed to phase it. I knew Brother made great printers but I`ve still been impressed, to say the least.  The price seems to be right in the middle of the spectrum for similar printers. The quality is definitely worth what you pay for this printer. My only complaint is the replacement cost of the toner, but it prints more pages. I was actually spending more on ink for my ink jet over time, I just didn`t have to pay as much upfront. The hassle of not having to buy more ink and changing cartridges frequently will pay off quickly.  I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone looking for a fast, efficient, easy to use laser printer!

Prints and handles other actions with ease. If you`re looking for a decent printer look no further.  Software was easy to install and I have no complaints. Ink cartridges were a little hard to install but read the instructions and you should no problems.

So I went into this with zero judgements. I was shocked in every category of its features and performance. This would been perfect if only had color. But guess that be also in another price range. Great for small business or home businesses without color need.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. OVERALL: A solid choice for scanning and monochrome printing needs for small offices. Easy setup and broad feature set (including duplex scanning) in a small footprint makes this a useful addition to the workplace. My favorite highlights are the document feeder, duplex scanning and responsive touchscreen interface.SETUP: It`s light compared to other MFC machines I`ve used in the past. So taking it out of the box and situating it in the office was easy. Setup instructions are simple enough. Use the touchscreen for easy wifi connectivity, then pop the DVD into your computer to get it running. No issues with getting it scanning and printing in no time.SCANNER: Document feeder is performing well. A little trouble separatingId pages that were folded together, but not out of the norm. Duplex scanning speed is decent, but don`t expect high speed throughput for duplex color scans. Resolution options will probably satisfy almost 99% of office needs. One point of annoyance on the scanner interface, though, is that it now feels more difficult to toggle duplex scanning on and off when starting a scan from the machine. I used to have direct options to duplex scanning and now it seems buried in the interface a little too inconveniently.PRINTING: It`s fast and monochrome. Again, resolution will satisfy 99% of office needs (absent color printing needs). No spotting, but it`s a brand new cartridge and drum I`m using thus far. I think a good review of printing function requires much longer term use since most printers exhibit their issues further into their lifespans. So all I can say now is so far so good.TOUCHSCREEN: It`s on the small side (not good for wide fingers), but it`s a vast performance improvement from prior generations I`ve used. It`s much more responsive and actions are more readily available once you load documents onto the feeder.SOFTWARE: The software that goes onto the PC is easier to use than that prior generation. However, running into a little trouble setting up new defaults for the printer/scanner settings. May just be because I`m not used to the new software just yet. Also, since I have older MFCs running in the office as well, I now have to use two different software interfaces - one for this printer and one for the older models.OTHER: There are a few other things to explore that sound pretty interesting, but I haven`t needed to try them yet. For example, there is now an app that you can scan to and cloud connectivity directly from the machine. I can see these additional features adding to productivity as well.

Let me start off by saying this is a great printer for your home office.  It is easy to install and get printing right out of the box and works great.Pros:* It`s super fast printing, with duplex multi-sided* The ADF scanner is also lightning fast, scanning both sides at once (single-pass)* Didn`t need to install any special software to be able to print/scan over WIFI and set-up very easily right out of the box.Cons:* The touchscreen UI is a little disorganized: lots of scrolling to get to the right options* It prints exactly as described in black/white - but miss the ability to occasionally print in color.Overall, this is a perfect home office machine and worth the investment

First impressions when the product arrived - It comes in fairly large box that struck me as a little larger then the description of "compact" suggests.  I brought it in my home and began unpacking. Once I opened it, I found it to be well packaged, quite easy to open up each component and pull everything out.  So far, so good.I removed all the wrapping and adhesive tape, again, very easy and straightforward.  It took me a few minutes to figure out to install the enclosed toner cartridge but I`m a bit impatient and didn`t read the directions.  Even without reading those, I got it set up, powered up, and working in about ten minutes total. I consider a product easy to use if I can figure it out without reading a half hour of instructions, so this is a winner in my book on that front.  First use - Printed super fast and with practically no effort from my phone and laptop. The laptop needed a little time to get the software installed to scan but printing was a breeze.  It took even less time to perform either task from my Android phone.By far, the best feature is the speed of warm-up to begin printing, that`s mostly instantaneous.  My old printer took forever to warm up and get itself ready,this one, really quick and makes virtually no noise.  Hit print, and you get your page a moment later. Scanning was also nice and quick and requires little effort on the users part. The resulting scans are of high quality and gives you many options on how to save files.  Overall, the ease of setup, print quality and speed, and scanning abilities were better then several other multi-function devices I use, including those at work. This product won`t replace those expensive multi user machines you`d find in a large office environment, but this would seem to work well for a small workgroup or sole office that has a lot of printing and scanning needs.  This machine would certainly be a step up for my work office - my machine there is quite slow on all fronts compared to this one.  If I had anything negative to say, the overall size is a little larger then I would have preferred.  In my mind, its not as "compact" as the word would suggest.  The black color matches just about anything as you would expect, the noise level is quite low, and I appreciate the user adjustable auto off feature. Its made almost entirely of plastic so it does suffer a bit from that plastic-y feel but as long as you treat it reasonably, it appears that it would age well.  The device`s configuration screen is straightforward and easy to use.  Like any small screen, if you have meaty fingers as I do, you may have to be a little careful on how you type but slow down and choose each character carefully which is easy enough. The embedded app features are great if you utilize programs such as Dropbox, as I do, one less step is an added convenience. Duplex printing and the two years worth of toner make it a complete solution for most needs.   To conclude, I am quite satisfied with this device.

Item: Brother MFC l 27500w  Brother Wireless Printer:  My home office has an existing ink jet printer in it also Multi-function, my existing printer was expensive to replace ink and could not handle my printing needs.  The new printer provides everything I need and the toner last for a long time which is great when you`re on a budget. Set UP: Overall, it was very easy to setup. The most difficult part was finding clearance for the printer it is compact but it has some depth to it. The instructions very easy to understand and I was up and running in 15 minutes longest part of setup was finding my network password. Performance: The printer is solid. IT stays connected to the network and prints quickly the print quality is amazing, it Puts out a professional looking document, besides print quality the menus are easy to read and straight forward. The build quality of the printer is substantial and will hold up to light to medium home office use. PROBLEMS: Not really a problem just a call out this is not a color printer so keep then in mind when you order it. If you`re looking for a well built and quality Black and white Laser printer this is your printer.

We used to have ink jet printers, and it was so difficult to change out the ink every time you needed a different color. With the laser printer, it is one cartridge. It is cheaper than an ink jet, which is very helpful, and doesn`t dry out which is perfect for home printing. We will print a ton of stuff, then we won`t print for a couple weeks. Which makes this printer perfect for our family.It is a very fast at printing, even with the double sided option.The touchscreen is nice - although wish it was larger.I would like the printer itself to be smaller in actual desk top space, but to be able to do everything this printer does, it can`t be that small.We do the copy/scan into PDF option often, which is nice to email to people. The application on your computer is a bit confusing, but once you figure out how to use it, it is not that bad.I do recommend this printer, as an every day printer for a family.

It fits nicely atop a filing cabinet.Assembly: There was a lot of plastic to strip away from the printer upon opening. Each piece had to be inspected to ensure that no plastic remained. Once the plastic was off, the rest of the printer assembly was easy. The manual did not need to be consulted.Use: The printer works fast and prints well. It only prints in black and white, not in color. The noise level of the printer is higher than anticipated. The scanner scanned fast and wirelessly uploaded to my computer with no issue.Wifi: Without consulting the instructions, I originally thought that the connection to the wifi would be automatic. However, once I pressed a few buttons, the wifi on the system was able to detect my home`s network easily. I have been able to print wirelessly with no problems.Price: The price of the printer seems a little higher than average. However the speed of the printer along with the crispness of the print makes it a decent purchase.

Tried to connect to our home network but could not connect with WiFi.  Every time I tried to connect via WiFi from one computer the hard wired one stopped working.  Had to repeatedly install software.  Taking it back.

Finally upgraded from an ink printer and loving the speed and ease of use.

Love that I can scan and copy multiple papers at once, easy to use.. I would like to be able to print multiple envelopes on the side opening and when scanning would be nice to have a re scan option instead of canceling

Perfect! More than I expected. Everything there!! When I click PRINT, this machine turned on automatically, and print. Scanning is fantastic and fast.

bypass tray will not load multiple pages, checks ruined, pulled sideways, envelopes pull straight but corners always damaged.

We’re finding our Brother printer/copier to be an exceptionally easy machine to operate, and it’s quiet compared to other models we’ve owned.

Good overall features and very good and helpful software

I love just about everything about this printer--simple-to-use double-sided printing, good print quality, nice multiple-sheet document feeder, double-side scanning. My only issue has been with the single sheet feeder. It almost always comes out slightly crooked no matter how I adjust the feeder guides. It would also be nice if you could put more than one sheet in the feeder. Also, buyers should know that the toner cartridge that ships with the printer is very small--you might as well buy a toner cartridge at the same time that you buy the printer.

I like everything about this machine except for the very awkward setup for printing envelopes, which requires rear access, releasing two separate catches, hand-feeding an envelope, and then putting everything back as it was. Had I understood this going in, I might have looked for a different model.

printer will jam up on busy days and there will be no jam, just pull tray out and shut it and that fixes the issue occasionally it will be a real jam but mostly they are false

We don't print that often so having an inkjet printer was very problematic! We would waste so much ink just trying to get a decent print after having not used the printer in a while. This printer fixed that problem. We get a great quality print no matter how long it's been since our last print. Very happy with this printer.

Wakes up to print under Windows 10, but needs to finish priming after powering on before I can click the print button in an application.  Native scanning interface has a rather small window to use for cropping, with somewhat limited options.  Also it defaults to 100 dpi for every scan.  I usually want at least 300 dpi.  Did not try FAX.

I purposely bought this for the double-sided scanning feature. Although it works, there is a persistent line on the scanned docs. We cleaned it with alcohol, as the manual recommends, but there is still a faint line there. It's odd that the line showed up, straight out of the box. Other than that annoying issue, I like this product very much. It's nice to have a laser printer that is reasonably priced but prints like a business quality printer.

I purchased this unit for a medium duty small office Multi-Function device. We use it regularly for scanning, printing, and copying. We run about 200 copies per month through it, and have been incredibly pleased with the ease of use, and output. We also appreciate the cost saving options, of reducing toner usage.

Wore my old Brother laser printer out after well over 20k pages.  To be fair, my drum suffered serious wear after using aftermarket toner.  This unit does everything as expected and wouldn't think twice about making the same purchase again and tell all my friends what they should be buying.

This is a great printer.  AirPrint feature is on point.  Great quality.  Been using for the past 6 months without a hiccup.  All features work as expected on all devices supported.

Works just as advertised. Easy to setup. Haven't owned it long enough to comment on the toner usage and longevity. But I would certainly suggest that the power consumption of the printer can be improved. When it starts up all the lights in the room flicker and that is kind of scary

The printer is fast and does a terrific job of double sided printing and copying. I also think the way it scans is wonderful.

My new Brother MFC - 27500 W printer is great. It is everything I wanted it to be and it has performed every task I have tried.

Find another printer: this one drops the connection to my wifi/printer constantly.  As in several times per day.  Also note:  it will NOT work with 5g networks...only 2G. So I have to use a 2G network for my laptop if I ever want to print anything.  Very very frustratingId.

It was easy to set up and quick to learn its features.  It is faster than our previous brother and I like the ability for two sided printouts.

The MFC-L2750DW Brother Printer is excellent. It connected easily and you don't need to be a electronics expert to use it. The quality of the documents is excellent. It prints quickly, copies using the feed tray or flatbed, receives and sends faxes, scans having multiple layout choices including 2 sided-documents! The only improvement I can see is adding a speaker and microphone so you can hear if a regular call comes in on the fax and possibly speak to the caller. I really love this machine!

I have been an ink-jet person for many years....did my own ink inexpensively, changed out blotters, extended the life in many printers well past their manufacturers pre-determined life cycles. I've also dealt with stained fingers, ruined carpet from ink, paying a "fee" for a software code etc. This printer changed my mind. It's fast, quiet, has tight 600 dpi quality and as a laser printer, no messy hands! It was ez to set up, and is reachable by other computers in my home flawlessly.\

I like the features that are on the printer. I did not have the capability to Fax in the past. In today's economy it is almost a requirement to have the ability to fax in order to transmit info to a company for Warranty , Insurance & other needs.\
I previously did not have the ability for multi page feed which comes in handy when needed. The multi function on this printer are great in comparison to my other Laser Printers

I use printer for personal home use - printing, scanning, etc.  Like two-sided scanning and printing.  Printer is fast and works fine.  Very happy with printer and no complaints

It is a replacement for a H.P. From turn on to print is about 15 seconds. The old H.P. took a full minute. The print cartridge uses printer powder, the H.P. used office jet ink. The inkjet requires use often or dries in the print head running the printer. The powder stays powdery.

Glad we purchased this printer.  Works great and does everything we wanted.  Love that I can Scan and Fax too!

This printer was a snap to install (15 minutes) and that includes unpacking, placing it, plugging it in and setting it up for wireless. I have checked out almost every capability including printing (on both sides), faxing, scanning and copying, all of which worked with no problems. This device is a little noisy compared to my older Brother printer but it's not so noisy as to be a bother. It's a great laser b&w printer.

I like the MFC line, this one replace an earlier model.  Sounds a little cheap when closing the top and I would have liked an easy way to print fax confirmations.  Not that big of a deal, lets call them wish list items.

No speed or any other improvement. Actually is louder than previous models, particularly in double sided scan.  Paperport SE14 is no real improvement either and can be very annoying. Difficult to cancel a scan and if you prescan and select an area, you must drag the boundaries back to full page manually for next full page scan. Doesn't do that automatically. Envelopes still wrinkle and have been doing so for years!  In total, there are just enough changes to force the purchase of new toner cartridges and a learning curve on Paperport SE14.  After 20+ years using Brother MFC's, I may have to look elsewhere.

This printer/copier/scanner works beautifully. I'm very happy my IT department replaced my 13 year old printer with this. It's wonderful to have my own scanner!

Two-sided simultaneous scanning, quick response from both wired and wireless devices make my Brother a welcome relief. The stand alone scanni g software is simple to use from our variety of platforms. I may sound like fake news but I am a 79 year old who just wants everything to work as expected. This printer and the accompanying software accomplishes that easily.

Connectivity - excellent, ease of use - excellent, scanning - very good but I noticed that the paper feed may not feed 100% straight through. The scanned document is leaning a bit. Printing a color picture results in mediocre black and white results and I’ve see much better results from other laser printers. Printing a document yields good results. I did not test the fax feature.

Tired of replacing expensive ink over and over and over again, and after re-evaluating the need for a color printer - switched and purchased this great value high rated laser mono-tone printer.

Updated the recommended firmware without a hitch.  New firmware and software works better than ever.  Easier, smarter and faster.

It handles all of the jobs I need doing. I selected the wireless printer, I do not have to be in the room to print and can use my phone to print papers. It Function will for big jobs. The printer was recommended by the salesperson at the store I purchased it from.

One of the bests purchases I've ever made. Fast printing and copying, excellent scanner, network setup was incredibly easy.

It smashes envelopes so they are badly wrinkled.  Also, the paper feeder works but usually leaves a line across the top on the copies... I'm assuming because the feeder does not place is directly in the center before making a copy.

Only complaint I have is the printer keeps loosing connection to wifi and wireless connection to my laptop.  Other than that it seems like a decent printer for the price.

This all-in-one is better than previous models I've owned, including the 2-sided capabilities, but seems slower to print the 1st page, even when only printing a single page.

I haven't fully utilized my printer but to date I have used it for printing, copying and scanning. The quality of the printed/copied/scanned documents is great and I am very pleased with the printer. I LOVE having a Bluetooth printer -- it's such a treat.

I’m very happy with this printer. I haven’t tried to set it up for WiFi communication so I can’t comment on that aspect of setup or function but it was super simple to setup and hook up to my laptop and no hardship to be plugged in to print. So opted for that since I use this printer for my home office solely.

I was looking for a dependable black and white multifunction laser printer and this Brother printer proved to be the best choice. I've had excellent experience with previous Brother printers and knew this would be reliable too.

The overall ratingId for this printer is above average but I am a little disappointed in the initial toner cartridge that comes with this printer.  I would have expected for the price of the printer that I would get more than 500 pages from the toner.  Maybe this was just a fluke but it is not acceptable.

Thinking of returning the printer.Only takes Brother branded toner, which is very expensive. Drum replacement notice came up after only a few months of use.I would rather pay more for a printer that lasts and takes nonbranded toner than be locked into Brother's high toner prices. Consumers arise!

Love the convenience of scanning, printing and managing docs from my laptop.

Prints wrinkled envelopes, constantly disconnects from my computer, just poor overall product.

'Been a Brother-only owner for over 15 years. I just haven't felt the need to look elsewhere for our printing needs. The MFC-L2750DW has served us as expected since placed in to service several months ago. Not a single glitch! I highly recommend this model.

Always shutting down in middle of printing.... Drivers will not update..... and there is a big strip of black ink down the side of each printed sheet...... not good....

Was unable to connect the printer to the LAN via RJ-45 or Wi-Fi after many, many hours and attempts. The User Interface for the network connection is very unfriendly. Direct connection between the printer and PC via USB works great. The print and scan quality is very good.

It prints quickly and efficiently. The toner cartridge last a long time.

The packed toner recieved with the printer did not work. Error message displayed to replace toner. A purchase for another toner was required in order for the printer to work.

This unit does all I need it to do. I don't print much and I wanted a simple All-In-One that I didn't have to change dried-out ink every month. This fills that need nicely.

I have the black and white, no color ink to mess with. It is quiet compared to other printers I have had and so easy to print documents from my cell phone. It is the most user friendly I have had.

First of, setup was easy.  It didn't take long to get the printer out of the box, install the toner and drum, and get printing.  So that was great!  Print speed and quality is also great.  I haven't scanned or copied much, but it seems to be high quality there as well.  My one problem is that it won't wake from sleep to print stuff.  I have it connected to WiFi and this is true both when printing over our home wireless network and when using Google Cloud Print.  It seems like the only way to get the print job to start printing is to turn the printer off and on again, then it works fine.  Everytime. I don't know why, but it's frustratingId.  Other than, I'm very glad I bought this printer and it works great!

Once we got it all connected, there were a couple of updates that kept disconnecting the system. My recommendation is to let it run all updates for both the printer and your computer. Once we did this, the system has worked well. I print from my Samsung Note 9, wireless from my laptop, my kids can print from their Amazon Fire tablets as long as we are all on the same network. Toner is easy to replace.

The easy of set-up and the simplicity of use is what makes this a great unit along with the price. I have 3 other units in the office with only one crashing on me within 5 years. A point in and of itself!

So far so good, bought it a little over 2 months ago. Find it easy to use. Good compact size, not heavy, will all the office features I need (fax,copy,scan).

The printer produces good quality prints, prints on both sides, and the graphic user interface is pretty intuitive. The control panel on the printer could be bigger, as its a bit hard to read. I noted two problems. To prints envelopes or other thick or irregular items, you are expected to get into the back of the printer, open a hatch, and flip two green levers. This is not only awkward, but is not covered in the manual; I had to call customer service. In addition, when you flip the levers, it changes the print path resulting in the items emerging from what is for m the back of the printer. I have to lean way over and try to extract it (same problem for flipping the green levers.)\
Another weakness is that the manual feed slot on the front only will take one sheet. If I decide to use the slot, I have to print one page at a time and keep reloading the slot (I say slot because there is no feed tray, which would be greatly more convenient.)

I like Brother Products. Always have! I liked how Brother stands by their warranty!

This printer does exactly what it says and ink is low cost.

You know you buy a lot of things that you think are great, when you get them home and try to get it to work not so great.  Brothers printers are different.  They WORK.  Plug it in and follow the instructions and BAM.  It works.  Just build a new computer,  took 10 seconds to match the printer to computer.  Buy brothers it WORKS.

Works great - quickly and from multiple computers. Took me a little while to get it set up, as I'm not the most tech savy guy. The ink tank is as advertised - long lasting!\

This is not my first brother Fax. I’ve been using different versions over the years. The machine is functional. With Eprinting it is definite improvement. Also the scanning to the PC is improved. I rarely  FAX so I cannot may come in. The quality of the laser print thing is good. I found no deficiencies.
