Most of the flavored coffee's I've tried are too weak, even on the smallest cup size. This one is an exception. Good flavor....on the small cup size. Good weekend coffee!

Of all the K-cups I've tasted, this is the only one I poured down the drain. Strong, awful taste and aftertaste. I do not recommend it.

Wow I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!
This coffee is like dessert it is amazing! I normally like really strong coffee but this one is unlike anything I have ever had. It really is amazing and so is the hazelnut! Yummy!

Delicious with a hint of sweetness.
I have tried a broad array of flavored coffees and this is by far one of the best. Its light enough for the morning and has a hint of sweetness. It makes my dorm smell good for hours!

Bought the Keurig because I drink decaf (usually) and my husband is a regular guy. Tried the Butter Toffee from a variety pack and found my favorite. I add a cinnamon stick to the cup during brewing for even more flavor. My only complaint is that it's not made in decaf so I'm unable to enjoy it as often as I wish.

really smells fantastic. flavor is smooth, not too strong not too week. Tastes great black or with flavored creamer. I've noticed my guests tend to choose this one a lot. will buy again.

I love Gloria Jean's Hazelnut coffee and by reading the reviews for this flavor, thought I would love it just as much. I didn't. It doesn't taste bad, but it's just doesn't have the flavorful, smooth taste I expected.

This coffee has a very pleasing aroma and a slightly sweet caramel flavor. Just the right touch to make this one of the most smoothest blends I have tasted so far. Just enough sweetness to take the bitterness out. Great stuff !!!!!

This coffee is not bad tasting, but not alot of flavour. While it is brewing it smells great, but when you bring the cup to your mouth, all you can smell is butter. Although it doesn't taste buttery, it smells like you are drinking butter. It needs more of a toffee smell.

They call this flavor coffee
I am sorry but their is no flavor in this coffee or any of the flavored coffee's offered here. If you want a flavored coffee you will have to add your own flavoring which is probably the best idea anyway. The best idea for people reading these reviews is to purchase the 3 variety packs and determine for yourself if you like or dislike something instead of buying products based on reviews. Good luck!

Generally I'm a big fan of the desert flavored coffees. While this does have a very distinct Butter and Toffee flavor, I found it to be a little overkill. Even when I added less sweetener, it was still somewhat gagging. It's too much for even a once in a while thing for me.

This flavor is perfect for any time of day. I drink it in the morning on the way to work and in the evening for an after dinner dessert. I love the taste. It is not overly strong or very weak, it is just right. The aroma is wonderful.

This coffee smells great when its brewing but the taste isn't as toffee-like as i would have hoped. It also is a little on the bitter side. But if you like your coffee strong, this might be for you.

The Butter Toffee by Gloria Jeans is great. It is definitely crГЁme brГ»lГ©e in liquid form. It smells up my house beautifully and wakes up my roommates, wondering what I'm baking. With all that being said, I do agree with the comments about a lack of a real punch of flavor. I naturally drink my coffee with milk or creamer and I noticed this contributed to the "watered-down", lack of flavor taste. And I brew on the low (6oz) setting. However, drinking it black (without milk/creamer) maintained it's flavorful-ness. My suggestion to the Gloria Jean makers would be to add just a touch more yummy butter toffee flavoring to they're already awesome coffee. Until then, my best advice would be to use a similar flavored coffee creamers, like a toffee, sweet crГЁme or crГЁme brГ»lГ©e flavor. And for black-coffee drinkers, use a syrup that is similar. I think the coffee is definitely worth the extra step. This is by far my favorite "light" coffee on the site, and I usually prefer the darkest roasts' know to man. =)

unpleasantly like microwave popcorn
The initial flavor is not awful, but it becomes overpoweringly unpleasant after the second or third sip. The odor is intense and the flavor unpalatable. Coffee really ought not to taste like fake popcorn.

Wonderful flavored coffee
OMG! this is the 1st coffee that I purchased with my new Red Mini Keuring and it was just fabulous! Also, sent for more samples of the flavored coffees and hope they are a wonderful tasting as this one!!!

Just like you remember from the mall...
Excellent cup of rich, medium roast coffee with buttery-toffee flavor. Reminds me of the Gloria Jean's coffee from the mall coffee shop of the same name. How convenient that I can now enjoy this same coffee at home!

If you are buying this because you are expecting it to taste like Heath Bar as I did, please don't. This has the taste and smell of those Royal Dansk cookies that come in the blue tin at Christmas time. I feel as though it is similar to a Hazelnut. Since this is a medium roast, I opted for the 7.5oz cup size and still found it to be a little weak in the flavor dept. I would like to rate this 3 1/2 stars however it's closer to a 4 than a 3. This coffee is smooth and not bitter. It's sounds like I'm being negative,I suppose, but I really didn't dis-like this coffee it was actually very good i'm just not much of a hazelnut fan and I think that Green Mountain and Van Houte might be better options here if you ARE a Hazelnut fan.

I got this in a sampler and WOW, already have a box on the way. Very flavorful, like creamy hazelnut - I could drink it all day. Would make a great desert. Do they have it in decaf?!

Bring the DECAF back!!! I'm almost out.
Yummy after dinner coffee, but i cant have caffeine that late in day. Really wish the K-CUPS demands would convince Gloria Jean to offer the DECAF version again!!!!!!!!! I've had to stretch out my supply beyond a freshness date.... and it's still good. Is tonight BUTTER-TOFFEE worthy??? Or should i wait until a movie night? :(

Enjoy a cup of flavored coffee any time. We have a variety that we like. Do not like the bolder coffees. LOVE the new pumpkin spice....Have a cup in morn to get going and enjoy another when get home after a 10 hr work day in the hospital.

I have to have creamer in any kind of coffee I drink, but for flavor and to save carbs I've practically invested in Torani's Sugar Free line. The Almond Roca is heaven over this Butter Toffee!!

My husband and I both could not stand to drink this. We no longer buy variety packs in large boxes after this experience. It is syrupy sweet and I can't even stand the smell of it brewing. I do however like the Swiss Almond Chocolate and the Mudslide. Those are about as sweet as I can go in coffee. If you like really sweet coffee then this is for you.

This was a flavor I was initially very excited about. I was sorely disappointed by its flavor and bitterness. If someone would have asked me to tell you the flavor, I wouldn't have been able to. It's acidic and bitter. I won't buy it again but at least with enough creamer and sugar, its tolerable.

I saw this in the store and immediately wanted to get it. Lucky my mom had some because I would have been upset to have wasted money on it. I was really looking forward to it, but it's terrible. I don't taste the butter toffee flavor at all. You're better off to get a plain coffee and buy butter toffee syrup. Acidic taste, bad aftertaste. Not worth the money.

I received a sampler with my new brewer. My brother who is selective with flavoured coffee enjoyed it so much, he called it "creamy and delicious". The ratingId came from him. I can't wait to try it myself! Enjoy!

This is a marvelous after dinner coffee... no need for a fattening dessert when this is around. It fills my kitchen with the aroma of caramel popcorn... sweet and buttery all at once. Definitely one of my favorite dessert substitutes :)

Delicious scent, good flavor
I'm still a fairly new coffee drinker and so I tried a lot of the flavors here and this is one of my favorite. I'd also add that if you like Butter Toffee, you might also enjoy Green Mountain's Golden French Toast. Both are great starts to a cold snowy morning!

This coffee smells like heaven. If only it tasted as good as it smells. It was so weak. I wanted soooo badly to love this, but I love a strong, flavorful coffee, and this just wasn't it. However, it would make a great air-freshener.

Out of all the K-cups I have tried I would have to say this is one of my favorites. I love the smell when it's brewing and the taste is just yummy! Very buttery and actually tastes like toffee. So many flavored K-cups I have tried just don't do it for me, but this one really does. Enjoy!

So far, my favorite flavored K-Cup
Got the brewer for Christmas and ordered a whole bunch of 5 cup samples sizes to try out. This has been my favorite of the flavored coffees and is now the first that I have purchased a 24 case of. Smells just terrific, and the flavor is just terrific: Buttery, sweet, smooth. Makes a great afternoon cup of coffee.

I read the description of this product and thought "Wow that sounds pretty good." My wife and I tried it and it was much more than pretty good. VERY aromatic and a very nice coffee any time of day. It has a light flavor but nice depth. We enjoy this in the travel mug size and the 7oz. size for a bit more flavor. I use always with a little sugar and creamer. The only con is that I always want more than one cup.

I was really excited when I ordered this K-Cup after reading all of the reviews. It IS very good - but not without a bit of "help". I had to add a package of sweetener and a bit of Caramel Toffee creamer to enjoy drinking this. I am noticing a bitter after taste though after a couple minutes of taking a sip which is disappointing.

I do not care for this coffee. I really like some flavored-coffees, but this just didn't do it for me. While the aroma was fantastic, I thought it was bitter-tasting and really couldn't taste any flavor. Unfortunately, I bought a full box of this the day I bought my brewer, thinking I would like it. I may try to brew it at a lighter strengh (like run 2 cups of water through it), and see if I would like it better.

Knock your socks off GOOD!
This coffee surprised me. I waited till I sampled 15+ other flavored k-cups before I got around to sampling it, thinking I would semi-like it. NOT THE CASE, it trumped others and made my morning. I made it in a 8oz cup. I topped it with 3parts milk and 1part caramel creamer frothed in my keurig frother.

Has an ashey/smokey taste. Leaves my mouth feeling dry. I really tried to like this variety, but I just could not do it.

The first time I made this it smelled fantastic brewing but tasted like ordinary coffee. It was even a little on the bitter side. The second time I put my machine on the lowest heat setting. (hoping the flavors would stay in the coffee and not all evaporate out) This did help a little, the coffee was smoother and better tasting then the first time but it still doesn't taste anything like toffee.

We recently purchased our Keurig Coffeemaker. I have never been a big coffee drinker, but, these yummy coffees have changed that. I love the convenience, freshness of each cup and the variety of flavors. The butter toffee literally melts in your mouth. I am definately recommending this product to all of our friends and family. Yummy!!! Yummy!

neither butter nor toffee
Thought it smelled good, it lacked flavor. I was expecting a nice toffee taste, kinda like a Skor bar, but it was far from that. It had an artificial sweetness to it and didn't taste anything like toffee. Not one of my better picks...now I'm stuck with a whole box.

Love it, Love it, Love it. A great coffee for dessert or any time. The aroma is like lighting a scent candle and the flavor is just right, not too strong, not too weak.

I normally love butter toffee coffee, but this one left me disappointed. It smells WONDERFUL, but that is the only thing it has going for it. I can brew my regular k-cups into a travel mug without any loss of flavor - with the Butter Toffee I can brew it into a 12oz mug and it still tastes watered down. Very disappointing. Will not order again.

Good Coffee with no creamer needed
While this k-cup is brewing, the aroma in the house is very nice. Adding a teaspoon of sugar is needed to give this much better flavor. Tried one cup with no sugar and it was a little bitter. Added a teaspoon of sugar, what a difference. Good coffee with no need to buy any creamer to add flavor.

By itself in my opinion it is alittle weak on flavor. I have run a cup of Butter Toffee and run a cup of "Black Silk", added alittle sugar and creamer and then you really have a nice cup of coffee. It really mixes quiet well with a stronger black type of coffee.

Absolutely Love This One!
I always keep this one in stock. My boyfriend and I both love it, and we have very different tastes. The aroma this coffee gives off is heavenly. Kind-of a buttery popcorn smell. The taste isn't as strong as the smell, which is a good thing. It is sweet, smooth, and rich, though. It isn't overwhelmingly caramel or toffee, but it's the perfect combination of the two. The aftertaste isn't sugary or filmy, it's very clean. Although it's very good black, I also like it with a splash of vanilla soy milk or vanilla creamer. My boyfriend adds a touch of sugar. While I wouldn't call the taste "subtle," I also wouldn't say it's too heavily flavored for those who don't like seriously flavored coffees. Definitely one of my top 5!

Pleased but not terribly impressed

Not as strong as I hoped for

My favorite morning treat
I love my new coffee brewer and have really enjoyed this flavor along with the mudslide the best. The smell leaves a warm feeling/smell in my kitchen that just makes me feel good.

Smells great, but the taste is too artificial. Has a bad aftertaste at the end of the mug and almost tastes metallic. I'm guessing it's from all the artificial sweetners. Can give you a headache at times.

Great change of taste for the everyday. I like it not or over ice. The aroma is great and fills the kitchen with a pleasant smell of coffee. Acts as a great after dinner desert to satisfy the sweat tooth. Overall good coffee and flavor.

Being a new Keurig owner I wanted to try different coffees. On occasion I like flavor,so I tried this one. At first I was dissapointed, it didnt taste like it smelled, which is yummy. But I was stuck with it, so I persisted,and it has grown on me. The flavor is light, not overpowering, although it could be a little stronger. But it has grown on me enough to purchase it again, as I now look forward to it as a desert coffee in the evening.

This coffee smells so good brewing and once brewed. I'm a new coffee drinker so I like the sweet creaminess this brings to my coffee. Of course I use Splenda and creamer. I much prefer this to a regular non-flavored coffee. This is the only flavor I have bought repeatedly.

Not only does this taste amazing, but it smells great too! I drink this when I want a candy bar, but shouldn't have one. The whole house smells like toffee, which is so nice. It's a three for one! Candle/coffee/candy bar combo, LOL!

This coffee smelled like a dessert when it was brewing, so I knew I was going to like it. The buttery toffee flavor is great by itself, but it was even better when I added a dollop of Hershey's syrup. Like drinking a Heath candy bar.

I add one of these pods to one of the Rev Pulse pods. The Rev gives me the kick and the Butter Toffe gives it the right amount of sweetness. This coffee smells great when it's brewed too! A definite must!

This Is My Favorite After-Dinner Coffee!
Gloria's Butter Toffee is my dessert after dinner! I look forward to a cup of it almost every evening. The aroma is so wonderful and the taste is too. There is nothing not to like about this delicious coffee. It is soothing and calming: a perfect way to wind down at the end a busy day.

The BEST Keruig coffee I have found so f
I just bought a Keurig coffee maker a few months ago, and I am still in the process of searching for coffees that I like. This one is the best so far. It is smooth, not bitter, and it has a pleasing aroma. I think it should have a stronger flavor, since it is supposed to be flavored, but it is still the best I have tried so far.

Though this coffee smells great when it's brewing, the flavor is nothing like the aroma. I bought this as part of the Gloria Jean's flavored variety box, but ended up giving most of this flavor away. It's very acidic and had a weird aftertaste. Somehow I thought it (and the other Gloria Jean's K-Cups as well) tasted like booze, which was just odd. I thought I would love this since I used to buy beans loyally in the Gloria Jean's store, but I was really let down. I think the Green Mountain flavors are far superior!

Smells and tastes wonderful!
I love this coffee so much, I drink it during the summer! Normally, I stick to iced tea and lattes during the hot months. I've never developed a taste for drinking coffee "black," but with a touch of my favorite sweetener and skim milk, it's just right for me! It has a very mouth watering aroma to it as well.

I was really expecting more toffee or buttery flavor out of this. I even added vanilla caramel creamer to it & it sure smells good when brewing, but really does not have enough flavor. I am glad I only got the sampler of 5, will not buy again.

After reading the mixed reviews, I was hesitant to buy this coffee. But, I did anyway because of my love for butter toffee! I think that the coffee is good; it does not have a whole lot of flavor. More like a hint; which works for me as I like a little flavor in my coffee, but I don't want it to taste like a dessert. Feels a little more watery than other Kcups I have tried, though.

Husband's All Time Favorite
This is my husband's favorite and we can't ever be out of it. He loves the flavor and aroma. It's not my favorite, I don't care for the flavor, but that has nothing to do with the quality. If you like toffee flavor you will love this.

I made this for my early morning coffee to work as usual and this made me stop at a nearby coffee shop. The taste is more butter than toffee, honestly the weirdest flavor I have ever tasted, and I've been drinking coffee for many many years.

I'm so glad a Butter Toffee K-cup was included with my first Keurig machine. I would have never thought to try it otherwise, but it has turned into one of my favorite flavors of coffee. The only problem is the flavor is not always consistent. Out of each box of this flavor k-cups I've purchased, 1-2 k-cups have been "duds" with less flavor than usual. It's not terrible, it's just not what I was looking forward to.

A wonderful light-medium body with a delicious taste and an even more delicious aroma! If you close your eyes it's exactly how Gloria Gene's smells when you walk in! Smoothe and tasty drink. I drink it in the morning, but great for an after dinner treat. My fave of the bunch! You will not be dissapointed. Very natural taste.

I have not had our Keurig very long (it was a Father's Day present to my husband), but this blend has become a staple for us in that time. It's an all-around lovely way to start the day, from the warm, pleasant aroma to the balanced, well-rounded, rich flavor of it. I have played with lots of different blends in the last couple months, and there are certainly others we enjoy... but this is the one we come back to again and again. Love it! :)

Too much butter, not enough toffee
I got this flavor in a variety pack; I'm overjoyed that I didn't order a full box of it. It's certainly smooth ... almost greasy, in fact. It would probably go nicely with artificial butter flavor microwave popcorn, which is what it tastes like. I couldn't detect any "toffee" at all, just "butter". If you've ever said to yourself "What this coffee really needs is a pat of margarine floating in it", then this is for you, otherwise you might want to steer clear.

This came in a variety pack of 5 different flavored coffees. I like flavored coffees, but this one was nothing special. The types of flavored coffee I normally drink are french vanilla, chocolate, or mocha...so, maybe that's why I thought this was only OK. The flavor isn't too weak or too strong. There is nothing wrong with this flavor, but nothing remarkable either. I'm glad I did not buy a 5-pack of this Butter Toffee flavor...but, if I had bought a 5-pack, I would NOT have thrown the other 4 K-cups away. I would have used them, but they are just OK.

Decent flavor, a bit too "buttery"

One of the best flavored coffees
I absolutely love this coffee. I had originally gotten because it had sounded good. My husband tried it because it smelt so good and he does not like coffee, however he tried it and definitely enjoyed it. I will say this: It really does smell divine. This is a great flavor for a medium sized cup. Add a little plain Coffee Mate creamer and one to one and a half teaspoons and it definitely highlights the flavor. Cant find anything wrong and will continue to buy this one along with the Hazelnut coffee from the same brand. Also just a side note, not to be rude or mean, all you haters of the Cafe Escapes Cafe Mocha read the directions on the cup. It does specify to shake the K-cup, so follow the directions, give it another try and then repost your review of the flavor

6oz, 8oz, 9.5oz --- it won't matter what amount of water you use to brew this, or any of Gloria's coffees. There is never enuff flavor in any of her brands. I am more than disappointed. You are better off buying Coffeemate creamers to flavor the coffee.

If you're only looking for caffeine....
One of the most, "blah" K cups I have tried thus far. It is not bad it is not great. Definitely drinkable but nothing special. Hints of toffee but flavor could have been a lot stronger. Perhaps this coffee would be better using medium or small cup setting.

I have been drinking coffee since I was 9 years old since my parents have owned 2 donut shoppes, needless to say I have been very addicted at a young age and have tasted many flavors and brands and the first time I tried the butter toffee the aroma just filled my house and arisen my senses immediately. The taste blew me away it is subtle yet so creamy and delicious even my sons love it we actually fight over them when the box gets down to only a few left. I actually have to hide some of the K-cups when I get them so when they think the box is empty I still have a few left for myself. I don't like to share this particular flavor so I get them a box of cheap regular flavor from the supermarket so they will leave mine alone.....lol

This coffee has such a smooth, excellent taste. I'm a big fan of flavored coffees, and this is one of the more pleasing flavors I've tasted. It's not overwhelming, yet it's definitely not "barely there". I can see this being one of my favorites.

I am not the biggest fan of flavored coffees mainly because I think most of them don't taste like they're naturally flavored, but Gloria Jeans does it right. The coffee is excellent, and it's paired with just the right amount of flavor. I love this coffee anytime of the day.

By FAR my Favorite flavor!
I'm learning to love coffee for the flavor and not just the caffeine. This roast has a delicious smell, a creamy taste, goes well with just about any creamer or by itself. I have mixed it with chocolate, pumpkin spice, vanilla, chai, cinnamon, caramel and eggnog all of which have complemented the flavor. You can't go wrong with this flavor!

This was one of the flavors we purchased months ago when we originally purchased our Keurig (summer 2011). It sounded good in theory, but since it's arrival at the house, it's been hard to finish off the box. Absolutely no one who's tried it has liked it. It's got an odd sweetness to it that doesn't work well at all on my tongue. Two people were originally interested in the flavor, and neither wants to drink it. It seems bitter, without being bitter upon tasting. The after taste, however, does turn bitter for me. We will not be repurchasing this - unless it winds up coming in a flavor variety pack and redeems itself somehow.

Delicious but slightly bitter
I love the way this coffee smells and with a little bit of fat free coffee creamer and a splenda, it is perfect. This is not a coffee for people who like to take their coffee black. The taste was slightly bitter with an acrid aftertaste when I tried a sip black. Pros are definitely a delicious nutty, rich flavor and the smell is amazing! You just have to add a little bit of cream to make it perfect!

I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. I have several different flavored coffees in my pantry and this particular one doesn't even come close to the richness and full-bodied tastes of the others I have. It's almost as if there is no flavor and is just a cup of regular coffee and not that good as it turns out.

A tasty cup of toffee coffee!
This is a lovely flavoured coffee with a nice buttery taste. I prefer it with cream and sugar which seems to enhance the overall flavour. Black it seemed to lack something. I would characterize it as a rich tasting brew that is a nice change from my regular unflavoured coffees.

Sounds Good, Tastes Awful!
The smell of this coffee is overwhelming, and the taste is like sipping on a cup full of hot artificially flavored syrup. No coffee taste at all, and no one wants a second cup! I bought a box of it, along with three other brands, at a store, and it's the only one still around. I'm slowly getting rid of it by pushing it on to unsuspecting guests, lol! Buy sample first!

A friend suggested this flavor after we got a Keurig for ourselves for Christmas. It has quickly moved to one of our top three choices everytime my husband or I want a coffee. It was great to have around for entertaining during the holidays as well - had to buy another box after that! Very popular in our house - really enjoy it!

I didn't like it at first but I had to find the right setting to use it on. I use the 9.25oz setting and then add just a touch of sweet cream creamer and it is delightful! I have it at least 3 or 4 times a week. I don't usually like coffee so this is a first for me.

This is the hottest k cup in the cabinet. it is everyone's favorite at my house. It has a fantastic flavor, not too strongly flavored and it is smooth, no bitterness at all. Hint for new owners: MAKE SURE YOU SHAKE THE K CUPS OF ALL FLAVORED KCUPS, AND BREW ON THE CORRECT SIZE CUP. I really think this is the problem with most of the reviewers that complain that this and other flavors are watery or not enough flavor.

I like the gloria jeans hazelnut and wanted to try the butter toffee, it is good at first but it gets hard for me to finish the cup because I feel like theres an after taste sort of like a "fake" toffee flavor. Its not bad but its not great.

I brew this kCup on the 8oz settings and it still has great flavor. For those that complain of not enough flavor, try brewing on the 6oz setting and shaking the kcup before use. It is not a "strong" coffee flavor - but it is a pleasant cafe style flavored coffee that goes great with disert

This coffee smells wonderful and looks like a full bodied drink comming out, but it's smell and appearance are very deceiving. It has a slight hint of toffee that is over powered by the unpleasant bitterness/acidity taste. This is not a very good coffee, I really wish I would have sampled it BEFORE I ordered a full box.

Like a long awaited hug slathered in milky sweet buttery goodness. I add a bit of Hazelnut Cream (Coffemate in powdered form) into the brew as I dash to get all the pre-work necessities complete. When my morning hectic run for the door, leap into the car drive is seasoned with that first sip, no matter how late.... I'm warm and fuzzy inside. What a wonderful way to start a day!

This coffee is so close to being amazing that it's almost frustratingId. The foundation brew is very good, not at all bitter or unpleasant, and the flavoring itself is delicious. It smells like like heaven, like the best buttered toffee popcorn you've ever eaten, fresh and hot (minus the popcorn, of course). The only problem is that there isn't quite enough of the flavoring in the coffee to be satisfying. Just a tiny bit more would make this coffee five star. But it's still quite a pleasant drink as it is, and if you add a bit of cream and let it cool for a few minutes, the flavoring does come out some.

I don't like coffe plain so I usually add a flavored creamer. With this coffee I want plain creamer so the flavor comes through. It so good! A nice buttery toffee flavor.

My favorite flavored coffee!
I have tried DOZENS of flavored coffees and this is the only one I have ever been compelled to write a review about. I absolutely LOVE this coffee!! It smells so good and the taste is even better. I put a little 50/50 sugar/splenda and some Coffeemate Sweet Cream creamer in it, and it is so delicious.

I'm not normally a fan of Gloria Jean's coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised when a friend gave me one of these K-cups to try. The roast is spot on and the flavor is delightful with no bitter aftertaste. This has become one of my favorites. I'll definitely be getting this when I order again!

Definitely the favourite among friends
When I first had this it was an instant hit - so much that I recommended it to all of my friends and family. This is now their number one favourite flavour of any Keurig coffee!

This was my first k-cup purchase and I really enjoyed it. It's mellow and not too sweet. It doesn't leave an artificial aftertaste. I just added some milk and it was perfect.

Oh how I LOVE this coffee. I have tried almost every flavor of K cup & this has stood the test of time. It is an absolute staple in my house because of how much comfort the taste & smell brings to me. If you like flavored coffee--definately try this one!

This is a backup coffee for me, whenever work runs out of regualr coffee. It's good for a flavored coffee. I prefer regular. A co-worker loves this though, it is his favorite. He purchased a Keurig just so he could have this coffee at home too. He loves it.

The aroma was a build-up to a payoff that never arrived. If my eyes had been closed so I could not see the color, I would have been convinced no coffee was harmed in the making of this beverage. Other than the faint toffee taste, there is nothing here.

This k-cup is one of my favorites. It has a very good flavor and a pleasing aroma. The only real issue I have noticed so far, while drinking this coffee is if you brew it on the 8oz. setting it doesn't have enough flavor and if you add creamer to it, it's more of a watered down coffee taste. However, because of this I only brew it on the 6oz. setting and it does MUCH better.

I did not like this one at all. It has no coffee taste. It is like slightly flavored hot water. No thank you. I will stick with my favorite-Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream.

I tend to drink this when I don't want a strong coffee taste or a lot of caffeine. It is OK, it serves a purpose, it just doesn't have that "wow, this is great coffee" taste.

This coffee had a very pleasant aroma while brewing for the short time it brewed in my Keurig but the flavor was lost in the cup. It was mostly just smell. It's right on the border of being a light roast.

full flavored and great aroma
I was very surprised with the flavor and aroma bc the aroma is so strong I thought the coffee would be overpowered but it wasn't. I highly recommend this for people who don't like just regular full bodied coffee's.

Great Carmel Flavored Coffee

My first experience with this flavor was at the car dealership. It was so good, I immediatly went home and ordered a box. However, the second box I ordered/received, I was very disappointed that the flavor seemed quite diminished; wondering if GJ changed their formula. I really enjoy the Butter Toffee flavor, so am ordering another box and HOPE it has gone back to the full-flavor I had experienced before.

I found this coffee to me MILDER than i had expected..... Their is a gentle taste of the Butter Toffee but my expectation's were of a much stronger flavor of the Toffee,and the aroma as well was soft. I will not buy it again personally.

This coffee has a rich buttery creamy texture. I use 2 TBS of half and half cream or chocolate caramel creamer with 1 TBS. of Chocolate syrup. This is a great morning coffee.

I do not like this flavor.
When I purchased this flavor, it sounded really appealing but I was very disappointed as it tasted just okay. It is something that is okay for a time or two but to drink often, I would get tired of it.

This is one of the K-cups that the minute I see I am running low I have to rush and order. My husband likes a stronger cup of coffee and I tend to like a medium roast but we both love this one. Just the smell of it brewing is wonderful and it is smooth with a light butterscotch taste. Perfect for anytime of the day. I just wish they carried it in larger boxes because we drink it so often and I am always ordering it. :) One more thing, it is not too sweet like some of the flavored coffees so if your looking for one to try this is it.

Replaces a Skinny Caramel Mocha for me!
My favorite K-cup flavor.I love all the caramel, french vanilla and mocha flavors. This is so good that it regularly replaces my expensive coffee shop habit of getting a Skinny Caramel Latte.

Pleasantly smooth taste and aroma
Most coffees I drink are flavored and this one is one of the best. Smaller the brew size most intensity so suit yourself. Flavor smooth, not too strong leaving no after taste. The blend of butter and toffee is just enough to hit the sweet spot w/out going overboard.

Not a real toffee flavor. In shock....won't buy again. Not even average coffee strength. Didn't expect a dark roast but....come on! Very disappointing

I really wanted to like this one because it sounded like it would be wonderful and it smelled amazing. However, something seemed a bit harsh about it, and I never felt right after drinking it. My boyfriend doesn't like it either. This was our least favorite of the kcups we've tried.

My hubby LOVES this flavor!!!!!!
I personally haven't been able to taste this coffee yet but my husband LOVES it. He's like obsessed haha. Seriously I will order several boxes and he will go straight to this one and drink them all at once before he heads to the others. I can say he has never complained and has only said great things about it. On the other hand I absolutely hate the smell! I will be sleeping and he will bring his cup of coffee in the same room as me and I wake up to that horrid smell. It smells sweeter than pancakes. Thats the only thing I dislike about it. ****Another tip for creamer users! If you use the liquid flavored creamer then it will take away the nice taste of the actual coffee. My husband and I noticed this ourselves. We tried the regular powdered creamer and it tastes way better. This way you can get all that flavor from the K-cups and not feel like you don't get all its worth =) haha =)

I enjoy a variety of flavors; usually a different one every morning. This is one I'll drink at least two or three times a week; and I never get tired of it. I'll sometimes add an extra squirt of Toffee Syrup, and/or a splash of cream. Or, it's great just as it comes out of the Keurig! Never allow myself to run low on this one!

I am writing this review as I am drinking a cup of Butter Toffee. It is my absolute favorite of all the K-Cup varieties. I drink different flavors for my morning coffee, but before I go to bed, I always settle down with a cup of Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee. It smells delicious just while it's being brewed.

Love Love Love. This is my favorite. I loved the Butter Pecan flavoring from Dunkin Donuts but it was discontinued, plus it was a sugary syrup load with calories and carbs. Butter Toffee is the closest without all the calories. It's also awesome brewed over ice.

I wasn't sure about this coffee at first but after drinking the entire cup I have decided that I like it. I was hoping for something that smelled and tasted a little more like butter toffee but both the aroma and flavor are lacking. Overall this coffee is smooth and tastes delicious with a splash of Heath bar creamer! =)

Nice desert coffee with a nice flavor, but somewhat weak in my view. Aroma is awesome and will get your juices flowing. Wish it had a bit of a stronger toffee flavor as it would make this blend really pop.

The sweet "toffee" flavor of this coffee really comes through without being cloying. One possible downside is that--like most flavored coffees I've tried--it feels just a little thin, which doesn't bother me while drinking it black but might be disappointing if you add cream.

Smells Great...Tastes Bitter
When you first brew this cup of coffee, you notice a wonderful aroma...but then it quickly fades when you take a sip. This is by no means bad coffee, but does not include all of the elements of a great cup of coffee that you would expect.

I was all excited on trying this. Was excited about the buttery toffee flavor. I taste neither, it taste like plain black coffee. All I want is an advertised coffee by a coffee company that has the flavor it advertises. I wasted my money on this.

Definitely Buttery But No Toffee.
This coffee was okay and prehaps you will like it. The butter taste was odd to me and left a werid after taste. It also had no sweet toffee flavor to compliment the odd butter flavor. If it did have a hint of sweetness it might help curb the edge on thelingering butter flavor left in my mouth but I had no such luck. In the end I dumped out my cup and would not purchase agin.

I didn't feel this had enough flavor. I'm regretting getting such a big box, because I drank 2, and i just can't stomach them. There's nothing that I tasted that was a cream or caramel flavor, not even a little bit. I wouldn't purchase this one again.

This used to be my hands-down favorite coffee, but now it barely lives up to it's flavor and is a flat cup at best. A genuine shame. Still a passable cup of coffee, but there's better out there, so I'll pass indeed.

Bought this awhile back. Put them into the K-Cup Caddy, thinking that these will not last long. Wrong!! I tried this with different cup sizes and no matter which one I chose it tasted more like chemicals than butter toffee coffee. Even tried adding creamer to it to give it more body and better flavor, but that didn't work either. I've had other brands of toffee flavored coffee, and this has to be the worst. And yes, I do shake the k-cups before using. I finally threw them all out. I wish you could try ALL k-cups in 5-packs, instead of wasting all that money on 18 or 24-packs. I have thrown out several flavors already. Ugh!!!

Burnt butter, not butter toffee
My wife likes it okay, since she uses sugar and cream, all the time. I tasted her mix, and it was not too bad, but I only drink coffee black, 99% of the time.

I have purchased this several times and have NOT been disappointed with this one. Very smooth taste. It is great with no creamer, regular creamer or flavored creamers. I love it and will continue to purchase it as long as they carry it....so PLEASE do NOT discontinue this one.

I like to have a flavored cup of coffee in the afternoons. I prefer not to have to add flavored creamer to my flavored coffee but the after taste was so terrible with this one that I had no choice. No re-orders of this flavor for me in the future unless they find a way to rid the coffee of the after taste.

My favorite coffee is GJ's Macadamia Cookie, which you cannot order here on this website. So I decided to try the Butter Toffee. Not so good! Very bitter aftertaste. I cannot drink this coffee without adding a lot of cream and sugar.

This coffee was very bland. It didn't have a toffee flavor at all, so I'm not sure why people say this tastes like butterscotch because it doesn't, at all. Like most Gloria Jeans coffees, this has a very weak flavor and the coffee itself tastes very watered down. Not very good at all.

I actually *dislike* this coffee. It is tasteless while drinking it but has a weird aftertaste, once swallowed, if that makes sense. I tried it about 5 different ways and finally said 'nuff' and gave them away (aren't I so nice ? lol) .

I'm not sure what the rest of the reviewers are drinking but Gloria Jeans Butter Toffee is possibly the worst coffee I have tried. I tasted like hot water a touch of brown food coloring with a hint of toffee. I never write reviews but this coffee is pretty bad I had to make time @ 5:45am to write this, to save someone from making the same mistake I did. Stick to Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, or 8'o clock.

It is a challenge to find a perfectly flavored coffee. Butter Toffee is excellent. It is one of my top 5 favorites. Pairing this coffee specifically with a southern butter pecan creamer is perfect.

I purchased based on the other reviews, now i know that people's tastes differ. However based on ratingIds and the flavor, I thought this was a sure fire hit. Well, it wasn't. It has an awful bitterness to it, not smooth and buttery toffee's" like I expected. I couldn't mask the bitterness, no matter what I tried. I will definitely not e ordering this one again, ever.

I've been drinking Glora Jean's Butter Toffee coffee for years now. It's my absolute favorite. I love anything toffee or caramel so I even carry my own butter toffee coffee with me wherever I go because I can't stand regular coffee any more. It's great!

I have never been much of a coffee drinker until I tried Keurig & Gloria Jeans Butter Toffee. Light roast, not too sweet just yummy!

I decided to try a flavored coffee (usually only purchased regular “dark roast “). It was absolutely delicious!!! I will definitely buy this again!!

My go-to morning cup. I used to like something a little sweeter than this, but once I tried it I couldn’t go back! This is my everyday type (and every once in a while I’ll drink a second cup). Always looking forward to this flavor - I hide it when company comes! It’s mine!

This is my FAVORITE flavored coffee! Most flavored coffee has a weird aftertaste, but not this one. I use creamer/honey and WOW it's delicious!

Perfect cup of coffee for crisp fall mornings. Smooth, with just the right amount of buttery toffee flavor to entice you to the next sip. And the one after that, and the one after that.
