I've only been drinking coffee for just over 2 years; only got my Keurig Dec 2009. I have tried probably 20 different coffees in the k-cup. I was loving the Green Mtn Nantucket Blend and Coffee People Donut Shop coffees... still do. But my hands down favorite is this Green Mtn Colombian Fair Trade. Oh, and the winner is??? ME!!! I win every time I drink this great coffee.

This is a great cup of coffee. I bought a box because of the reviews and I am not disappointed. If you like a medium bodied, good cup of coffee, this is your cup. Reminds me of IHOP's coffee. Just good coffee...

I bought based on some reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. It had a horrible aftertaste. I could not get the bitter flavor out of my mouth, all day nothing tasted right. I thought maybe I didn't rinse all the soap out of my cup, but tried again a few days later and still same horrible aftertaste.

I drink at least two cups daily before I get my three boys up for school. I can't say enough about it because it is just soooo good! It is my favorite. Not too weak, not too strong, just right. It gives you a good pep in your step without making you nervous like some others can! Definitely my favorite!

I question the other reviews
I must be missing something, I use only filtered water in my brewer and this coffee is just plain blan, it leaves me baffled by the other reviews.

I love to drink this coffee, i feel as though i help not only Farmers, but i stop Drug Cartels and help Children out of forced labor. i love Columbian FT - Yes i know it really doesn't help Children and stop Drug Cartels, but I feel as though it could and therefore i drink it.

It smells great while brewing and then something doesn't add up. It's like drinking water. You can only drink it black because if you put a drop of any milk, half & half or creamer the coffee turns so light you lose the little taste it had. It is average if you drink it black, and it is undrinkable if you add anything.

I used to buy my coffee from Barnies for almost 15 years. I don't anymore. This coffee is better. Only con is that I find myself drinking more coffee daily because it is soooooo good.

Not bad, but not my favorite
While many people will like this coffee, for my taste it was just average. I appreciate the fact that it is fair trade certified, but the flavor of this is just to weak for my taste. In all fairness, though, I like my coffee very strong, so this may be great for many users.

I used the 8 oz setting on our Elite brewer. I've tried this one both with and without cream. Frankly, I was a bit disappointed. This isn't one of those brews (viz., Donut Shop, Black Magic) that almost compel you to have another cup or two right after finishing the first one! It definitely needs more mouth feel, more flavor intensity, more aroma, and a fuller after taste. Maybe it would have more "oomph" at, say, a 6 oz setting. If I had that capability, I would try it. This is not to say that it's a bad brew - it's just not a great one. Still, you owe it to yourself to give it a try - it might just be your cup of tea, ah, er, coffee.

What Coffee SHOULD Taste Like
I have tried MANY brands, flavors and strengths and have given away almost all of them. I now only buy the Columbian Fair Trade. It is by far the best I've tried and the only one I buy.

My Favorite Everyday Brew
Love this coffee as my everyday to go brew. I like to add non dairy creamer to add extra flavor without cooling it down. Excellent with a little artifical sweetner.

Perfect "everyday" Medium Roast
I use this coffee as my regular brew, and get several boxes at a time because I drink it so often. It has a great taste and a flavor more complex than a light roast, but not overpowering or as smokey as dark roasts can be. That makes it a great coffee to enjoy all the time. It's my favorite medium roast and what I consider the most balanced.

This had a bitter flavor and tasted a bit burnt. I had such high hopes for this coffee... With the addition of some sugar (I usually drink my coffee black), it was fine, but nothing special and I won't both with it again.

This is fine, balanced cup of coffee. I brew mine on the 6 oz size, which makes it just perfect for a light roast taste that really isn't that light. Not bitter, can tolerate straight black for those of you who always use creamer and sugar.

I LIKE STRONG COFFEE, AND THIS IS THE BEST. IT IS STRONG BUT NOT BITTER. I USUALLY MAKE IS USING SIX OUNCES OF WATER, 8 OUNCES MAKES IT TOO WEAK.

We buy the 80 pod boxes and started having trouble with grounds in the coffee, sometimes more grounds than coffee. I called to complain since I think it caused the pump to fail on our machine. We are now using our daughters. The rep walked me through the cleaning, most of it I knew, and got machine #2 working again. Some of the pods have a puffy top which seem to be the ones that don't work. I have been a loyal Keurig user long before Green Mountain bought them. This was a rare problem in the past. Quality control seems to have taken a coffee break. Otherwise I love the Colombian coffee.

Since I found this coffee, I am HOOKED- don't try to pass off any other on me! First time I drank it, I got too carried away with the aroma, taste, the brightness of the flavor, I drank 5 cups back to back and got seriousy intoxicated! Didnt think it was possible, and now I have to pace myself and just have 3 cups in the aM and 1 in mid afternoon. And now I have friends popping in just to share a cup with me Thank you for enjoyment I recieve in my old age!!

This coffee is so weak that I have been adding a little instant coffee to make it taste like coffee. The first K-Cup that has completely disappointed me. Medium roast doesn't mean weaker coffee - it means a less roasted flavor. If you like really weak watery coffee, this is for you. It's NOT for coffee lovers!

This is not strong enough
I thought this would have much more flavor. It is weak. I thought it would be much bolder, but it is not recommended by me. Maybe I am too used to the extra bold coffees.

Balanced taste AND social responsiblity!
Smooth and tastey, I could drink this every day! I enjoyed a free sample from Green Mountain and I was hooked! Highly recommend all of their fair trade coffees!

I initially got this product as a sample. I was hooked after the first sip. There is no acidity or aftertaste, it is perfectly smooth, and just the right amount of boldness for the morning cup. This is my new go-to k-cup =) Don't hesitate to try it!

There are others we like, but the Colombian Fair Trade Select is so far out in front of anything else we've tried, we drink this almost exclusively now. I just ordered the 80 count :)

Very consistent, delicious coffee.
This coffee is the most consistently roasted coffee I've found in any K-Cup variety. Many of the medium or dark roasts vary a lot and some tend to more bitter than others. I buy this variety in 80-packs at BJs Wholesale and have never come across a cup that tasted bad.

Used to be my favorite - not anymore
I used to drink this daily. When they changed the packaging something happened to the blend. Customer Service says it's the exact same coffee but it is VERY weak compared to wat it used to be. Think I may have found a new coffee in Lodge & Lake but this isn't worth me buying anymore.

My wife prefers weak coffee, I generally like a more bold coffee. We bought a Kerug Platnum and now she drinks Nantucket Blend and I drink Columbian "fair trade"

This used to be my favourite but when they changed the packaging they changed the product too. Not even close to the smooth full flavour it used to have. I am so disappointed. Remember Green Mountain...If it isn't broke do not fix it! You should have created a new brand rather than change one that was a hit!!

This is by far, one of the best coffees I have drank. It has a good taste without being bitter. I like my coffee to have flavor without the bitterness of some of the others I have tried. This will definitely be a constant in my coffee selection. I have recommended this to all of my coffee friends.

This is my first review. The poor taste of this coffee compelled me to share my experience since I often buy based on others reviews. I tried this coffee on several cup settings. This a.m. decided to do two packs per cup 1 on the next to lowest setting and one on the middle setting. Coffee was still not good but better than trying to get a regular sized cup from one pack. There is just a taste in there that I can not fully describe but is just not pleasant at least for me.

Great for the Caffeine but week on taste. Suggest it for someone who wants a very mild coffee. If you want Colombian coffee try the Timothy's brand it has more strength.

My favorite classic coffee
I really love the flavored coffee, but there are some days you just want normal coffee. Colombian Fair Trade is that one, Good to the bottom of the cup.

I've been drinking the Green Mountain Medium Roast for a while now. I've put it up against several other brands and it wins every time. \
The Medium Roast is bolder than the breakfast blend and less than the Dark Magic---perfect for me. Not acidic, very smooth and flavorful.

I've never had such watery coffee. I brewed this on eight ounces and it tastes diluted. I cannot discern flavors aside from a slight acidity. Good thing I just got a sample box.

I have been buying columbian fair trade select for years. This month when my order arrived, I noticed the packaging/name was slightly different. The coffee also tastes more bitter than usual. Is there anything different in the beans or processing that would account for this ? It’s always been my favorite and now I will have to change
