As a professional organizer, I could not run my business without Smeads Green hanging folders. When I install the Filing System I use, Green is the monthly filing system. I need 24 for 2 years. Love them. They are sturdy and get my clients off to a good start. I buy them in bulk. Can't get along without them! Thank you SMEAD!

Love, love, love these hanging folders. I have found them to be sturdy and dependable. I love how the hanging tabs are glued in and don't move so you never have a folder fall off on one side. I have bought the store brands before and have found that they glued theirs as well but someone didn't pay attention and some of them are long on one end and short on the other. Then the folder won't hang right because it's twisted. These are done precisely and I love working with them. Great quality, great product!

Great option for saving children's projects
I purchased these Smead file folders based on an idea I saw on Pinterest where you place children's artwork in a file folder for each year of their life and save it all in a file storage bin. I just got done with creating ours and am very happy with this product. The folders are sturdy and the colors are great. It was very easy creating the labels and placing them inside the plastic tabs. I am confident that these will last and am happy to now have a place to store my daughter's projects.

House File for Manuals, etc.
I use the Smead hanging files to maintain a house file in a plastic tote. I store manuals/instructions for things in the house like furnace, air conditioner, washer, dryer, range, dishwasher, etc. Plus there is space in the tote for plastic bags of parts. I know where I can find everything; and whenever I sell my house, I'll give the tote to the new owners to help them out.

Strong Enough To Hang Around For Years
In My Job we use these folders to hold three versions of tests booklets kept in a cabinet, that are used for a year at a time. They are strong enough to with stand the weight. We use the same folders for several years at a time. The sliding ablity,makes taking out and then replaceing the books a less crowded and efficient way to place our hands in this process.

The bright colors help you "eye-up" associated files quickly and efficiently. These are sturdy, and year after year I switch out my yearly papers and find that I do not need to replace any of the hanging files. They are durable, well-made, and easy to label and use! I won't use any other brand now. I've been Spoiled by Smead!

I purchased these folders for my new filing cabinet at the end of my senior year in HS when I suddenly realized a mistake in my HS career. disorganization. I noticed that my fluttering papers and cluttered room contributed to my laziness and poor work ethic. I realized there was only one who could help me: Dr. Smead. His prescription was just what the doctor ordered.

Turquoise is "IN" this Season's Filing Cabinet

Awesome For My Office on the Go!

Could NOT Live With Out Them!!!!!!!!!!
These folders are absolutely amazing! We use them for everything in the office. We are primarily a court reporting firm, but we are starting up a linens and event company; so we use the folders for everything from storing our important papers, billing letters, and general organization of our job sheets. Recently we redid the filing cabinets and having the legal size hanging folders saved our lives. It made finding everything we needed 10000000000 times easier. Our company would be completely lost without these. They are durable, we get into the files multiple times a day and they can withstand us pulling them in and out and sliding them around. They also hold a TON, we put tons and tons of papers in them and they never have given out on us. They make everything easier to find. I would recommend these folders to anyone who is trying to get organized.

It is so exciting in the summer time when school is out, because I get to set up new files for the upcoming school year. Nothing looks better than opening a drawer and seeing all new Smead hanging file folders ready for a new school year to begin. It just makes my day.

SMEAD Hanging Folders has changed my life! :-) I entered into a new position a few months ago that was faaaaar from organized. Thanks to my colorful hanging folders I am organized and my drawers are full of personality every time I open them. Also, the members of my team that aren't so bright (no names mentioned) know how to atleast match colors if they borrow a file from me and I am not at my desk when the file is returned. Oragnizes & Looks Pretty!
At my job, we have to keep our desktops clean and can't have organizers on top of the desk because I work in a showroom where lots of customers come in. I purchased a few packages of these for my desk at work. Using these color hanging folders in my desk drawers is a perfect way to organize while still making it look nice! Perfect for me!

I use a two drawer filing cabinet at home for my personal papers. Smead hanging files in different colors make it so easy to find exactly what I need at a glance. I categorize my paperwork and file each type in a certain color folder. For example, my home and auto insurance policies are in a red folder. My health insurance policies are in a yellow folder. Not only does this enable me to quickly find what I need, I love the way it it looks in my cabinet!

At home and at work this product is invaluable for orgainizing. My husband once asked me to lower my standards thinking this would help me to not work so hard to have things in order. Over all - good quality product. The labels are difficult to use. Provided the size of the tabs provided you have to use a type writer or use clear label sheets and cut and wrap them around the provided tabs. Going to the sheet tabs would be beneficial. Also the perforations are not clean and I used scissors to make a clean cut.

Makes Professionalism Fun!

The Best Thing to Ever come into the Hands of an OCD Filing Intern
These colorful and bright folders were purchased by my company and as the intern working here, I am the one who is in constant need of them. The colors allowed for me to easily distinguish the files and the colored tabs made it impossible for someone to file papers incorrectly. I used the red tab for the red folder, and so and so forth. The great thing about these folders is that they came in a somewhat rainbow colored pattern, so color coding them was no problem, I just followed the colors of the rainbow. Now the dreary file cabinet has some color and looks so organized that it puts my OCD mind at ease. These folders provide easy organization and color coding, something I couldn't do without.

Where I work, we use the red hanging files for our invoices to be reviewed for payment, we use the yellow for the purchase orders, we use the orange for the vendor files, and we use the blue for the paid/completed invoices. These hangers work great, keep things neat, makes it easy to remember where to re-file ...red with red, blue with blue.... And we've used the same folders for 4 years now, and they are holding up great!

The Smead Jewel Tones Hanging Folders made organizing my desk and files extremely easy. The folders come in varying colors from grey to turquoise. I was recently hired at an air conditioning company to organize their filing system. Upon doing so, I found papers under folders, behind cabinets and crinkled and crumpled. Long story short, I purchased the rainbow colored adjustable tab file folders in bulk. They can hold everything I need them to hold. They have lasted for 3 years thus far, and are still "hanging tough." I love your products and will never, I mean never use any other brand!! Very Unique Color, Sturdy Folder
I bought this color, blue, and green to do an ombre-colored file box for each of my kids' school work #they are in preschool and I did one for each year through high school#. The color is very nice and the folders are sturdy. I wish the hanging box folders came in the same colors, as I'm already running out of room!

Color Coded JUST FOR YOU!
I love these Smead Hanging File Folders. They come in many different colors so I am able to organize my files at work by file folder color. The Simple Things in Life

Color-Coding Home Filing System
Our file cabinets were a mess until we decided to organize with these folders! The colored tabs are the best! We color-coded our file cabinet into sections, and now it is SO easy to find everything at a glance. No more searching for hours for what I'm looking for! I was disappointed about one thing. We started with the colored folders and colored tabs, but when we went back to get more, we were informed that Office Depot was phasing out of the colored tabs and only had clear tabs. We searched at 3 different stores until we found the colored tabs. The colored tabs really help if you are color-coding.

I recently updated my filing system and had a wide variety of hanging folders and files to choose from. Knowing the quality of the brand that Snead offers, I chose the Hanging File Folders in letter size, in purple. These are truly high quality hanging folders and I anticipate using them for a long time to come. They maintain their shape and can handle a good volume of material. We use hanging folders occasionally as a "storing house" for papers until they are able to be filed. The Smead hanging file folders do a great job of corralling the paperwork and keeping things contained. I couldn't ask for better performance. It's nice when a product surpasses expectations.

For 2014 I decided my New Year's Resolution was to get organized in my home once and for all. A place for everything, and everything in its place. My priority was with my home office area: my desk was a mess, there were stacks of papers and receipts everywhere. I run my own business from home, and I was supposed to be keeping track of receipts all year long, and had done a terrible job of it. So, part of the solution was to create a system of hanging folders in a filing cabinet with every category I could think of. As I sorted through the piles of paper, I created new categories and wrote them on the tabs. Now my desk is neat, and I have a place for every paper and receipt that comes my way. I bought two packs, so I still have 25 empty folders that I can add on to.

I got an Idea from Pintrest to label folders 1-31 for the days of the week for my absent students. In a crate at the front of the room, they find the folder numbered the day they were absent and then pull the work and instructions. They put the completed work in the class folder at the back of the crate. So much easier to get the work out to the students instead of digging through a pile of papers!

Excellent Organizational tool
I use these in my file cabinet to separate the types of bills and filing I have. Use one color for the different banks, another for credit cards, another for autos, another for medical files, etc. Makes going into file cabinets so much easier in getting to the right file.

I have been reviewing our filing cabinets and found a big increase in the number of misplaced documents and/or files than we normally have. After reading the color coded filing system article, I bought a box to try them out. Needless to say, I love the way our new file system is working! I love it even more seeing all those 'bright' color files in order when I open up the cabinet drawer!

Great folders, just need more tabs
Love the colors, the folders are nice and sturdy. I would like to see more "extra" lables however, for reuse of folders, or mistakes on making out the labels, without having to go buy more.

First time I've purchased hanging file folders that didn't include little plastic tabs and labels so I could actually indicate the contents. Fortunately I had also purchased a different brand and used the ones they included.

These filing folders are great for storing personal and business documents. The sliding hooks do their job, they don't get stuck like some other. The only thing negative about these folders is that the insertable tabs are kind of tricky to get them in. But great folders overall.

This is a starter set that can definitely help you keep documents organized. There's nothing spectacular or specialized about them, but they'll get the job done. I will say this is the first I've heard from SMEAD and do believe they're a company we'd purchase products from again.

Moved to working from home and now on my 3 box of these folders. Durable and great even when I need to add regular tabbed folders into these folders to suborganize the folder even more. Bright colors and easy to use.

Great folders, but two were missing.
I love these folders, they arrived quickly after ordering. Sadly, two of the blue ones were missing from a box of 25 that I ordered. The quality and organizational elements are great, but I wish I'd received all 25.

I had just bought a file cabinet as my old one had been dented and lock broken for many years due to previous moves so I wanted to make all my current and past files look good, easy to locate and feel better to use. So, I went to the closest store to see what types of hanging file folders were available to buy. I am on a tight budget so I was looking for a decent price for as many folders as I could get. When I saw the Mead Jewel tone folders I liked the colors and the price was ok for my budget. I immediately put them in my new file cabinet and I know now how easy it will be to stay organized. This is especially important since it is tax filing season again. I really recommend getting this product. The colors make it fun to be organized and using certain colors for certain types of files makes finding what I need to find easier and quicker. Thanks to Mead for making a great product!

Can never go wrong with these
I use these folders daily to organize the differentiate the different payers I use on a daily basis. As a Medical Biller, organization is a must. I love the different colors that assist me in filing. I just wish there were more colors and maybe even designs to choose from.

Hanging folders such as these are great for organizing important, personal documents. The folders are very managable. I even like the colors. This is a very good product, and I am waiting on another order to arrive.

These folders were purchased to file my business documents. They have nice roomy tabs for labeling and are easy to set up. The hangers are sturdy and slide smoothly in the file drawer. These are great quality and value!

Sturdy, bright and come with clear tabs
I am doing a big reorganization project of family history material and I need folders that will hold up, hangers that slide easily on the track, folders that have sturdy slits for tabs, and several colors to help me differentiate major divisions. And the price was very competitive. This Smead product did it all.

Strong, durable and high quality
The bottom inserts are very strong and the folder is able to hold a large quantity of paper. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it is very high quality.

I recently started my own business and grabbed a box of these for my file system. I have since bought several more boxes. I love that they are useful AND have great style. The colors are awesome and help make the boring job of filling better.

The paper inserts for tabs need better perforations. These don't tear neatly. However, the angled tabs make for easy reading.

I struggled to come up with something positive when reviewing these folders. When looking at the durability, in comparison to others I have, they are flimsier and do not appear as if they are as durable. Time will definitely tell. The great thing about them however is the price I paid and the fact that they are brightly colored. In my filing cabinet, I am sure these will definitely stand out among the drab green I mostly have.

I LOVE these hanging folders!!!
I am a classroom teacher and I use them for file storage. As a teacher, I am tired of the BORING green hanging folders!!! These are nice, yet professional colors for my classroom!

Color and strength are on point!
We are an architectural firm and we have a library of building materials samples and color charts. I used these hanging file folders to organize all of this information. They are sturdy and I LOVE the gray color!

Hanging File Folders Are Very Durable
These hanging folders are very durable. I use them for all sorts of filing but the number one thing that I use them for are the filing of SOP's and SOP record books. Even with the record books being a bit heavy the hanging folders still hold up fantastically. I am pulling the files on and off and they are still holding up. I have no complaints at all about this product. I think it is a great product!!!

We Always Use Smead Hanging File Folders
We use these file folders for our daily and long term household files. We color code the files by subject and then file by category (Ex: AUTOMOBILES, 2010 Cadillac DTS, 2015 Mazda 6, FINANCIAL INFO, Banks, Credit Cards, MEDICAL INFO,
Diagnosis, Physicians, Prescriptions).
The files are sturdy and colorful compared to other files we have used. They make our files very organized and easy to use.

Excellent colors - quality hanging file folders
I am re-organizing my household files. The jewel tones are pleasing colors and assist in setting up categories. I prefer Smead products over "store brand" for quality. The first box I purchased appeared to have been assembled with too much wet glue and some folders were damaged. With one call, Smead addressed my issue quickly and with excellent customer service.

I use these files on a constant bias is through tot the day. I'm always looking for an Invoice or other document and these files have truly passed my test. I am Construction Administrator and currently on a new construction site in a job trailer and things get ruined and worn out faster than maybe in a regular office. However, these gave last d me 6 months and they remain in great shape!

I ORDER THESE ALL THE TIME FOR MY OFFICE AND ACTUALLY FOR AT HOME IN MY FILING CABINETS BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPER HANDY. I WOULD SUGGEST THESE FOR ANYONE WHO IS TRYING TO KEEP PAPERWORK OR DOCUMENTS NICELY ORGANIZED AND THEY ARE ACUTALLY VERY STURDY I USE THEM EVERY DAY

I would buy this product again
I enjoy using these hanging file folders especially because they have the pocket inside that I use for different sized print outs that happen quite frequently in my hobby researching family history.
