Very unimpressed with a battery discovered in a flashlight - when you need it - that leaked and ruined the device. It was apparently made in 2014 in China; discovered in U.S. in April 2016; 'best used by' date of March 2020.

9 volt batteries, not holding charge
I just changed the smoke dector battery and it continued to beep and this is a replacement battery that has been in A/C in my home (Florida). I have three left in the 6 pack carton and one is older but the guarantee is 5 years! So I have a manufacture date of March 2012, March 2015 and March 2015 and the voltage is as follows 2012 = 5.02 volts; 2015=7.84; 2015=6.69. So they apparently do not hold the factory charge!

Duracell just keeps improving!
I'm a Grandpa with 11 grands that are always needing batteries. Over the years I've learned through good and not-so-good experiences that cheap batteries are no bargain and Duracells seem to last "forever" on the shelf, whether in storage prior to use or after a toy or appliance has been energized. Yes, I've had a few leaks over the years but I can attest that the Duracell people are the quickest and easiest to get things rectified!!! They have my vote .... I'll continue purchasing Duracells!

Durcell Quality Control is in decline!
Being a grandparent I have purchased countless Duracell AA and AAA batteries over the years mostly from Costco for the grand kids and their toys! In the last 5-6 years I've noticed that these batteries are having a leaking issue and it's getting worse. At first it was just one or two here and there and the problem was tolerable but lately I'm have to replace clock mechanisms, PC mouse, flashlights etc. on a more frequent basis. I checked a small sample of all the dead batteries I'm going to recycle and about 10%-15% of the ones I have are leaking. And looking at your own reviews from others it seems in the ball park. PLEASE FIX THIS OR I'LL BE FORCED TO GO BACK TO EVERYREADY!! THANKS!

My current toll of ruined devices due to leakage now stands at 1 AA Mag-lite flashlight, 2 Seiko AA battery-powered alarm clocks, 1 Brother AA-powered label maker, and 1 wall heating thermostat. I really can't recommend these batteries.

Batteries burn nicely finished wood when they leak
Two times now I have uncluttered my wife's beautiful maple hutch to find leaking batteries that had been set aside and underneath, in the shape of the batteries, the finish burned off. Now we don't monkey around, even partially dispensed batteries go in the trash. Don't know why they are always Duracell but it seems to be the case. Picture shows damage to hutch and a bin of partially dispensed batteries that were stored for future use. Note the brand and the fact that virtually all of them have leaked. I do not experience this with other batteries, even store brands. Time to remove all Duracell batteries and move to Energizer.

have always used and depended on duracell coppertops with good results. But something has changed. just bought my second pack of brand new batteries this month. both appeared ok when i put them in devices but within 24 hours leaked battery acid all over everything. no more duracell for me.

Unopened Package, Not Expired, and Leaking!
We keep our batteries in a cool, dry storage space. Went to take out some AAAs today and saw that more than half of the batteries in our Duracell package (expiration date of March 2017), completely unopened and unused, were leaking. The other batteries (non-Duracell) in the storage space were still fine. Thankfully I did not ruin any devices with these leaking batteries!

Switched to Duracell, due to past experiences with the brand, and assuming minimal issues with leaking batteries (AAA size). Had the batteries less than 1-1/2 years, leaked in my wireless keyboard (lost function of a few keys, now need to replace); leaked in a Duracell flashlight which came supplied with the batteries, destroying the battery holder.

Can't Live Without; Ultra Dependable.
I have used Duracell's for as long as I can remember using batteries. They have never failed to offer ultra-long power. Most importantly, I had them "imported" to Peru by friends when I was a foreign correspondent so I could use the batteries in my professional recorder in order to tape interviews, gather sound and produce my reports. Peru sold them at exorbitant prices because of import taxes so everytime a friend visited from other countries, I had them stuff their luggage. The Duracells almost always cost more than other brands, sometimes substantially so, but they last much longer, and it's that dependability that is so crucial. I've used them in all sizes for items ranging from electronic remotes to battery-powered razors to old-style Walkman music players, and from flashlights to sometimes critical hurricane lanterns. I depended upon the latter items while living in Florida for many years because of the many storms that took out the power. I stocked up on many D's, in particular, for lanterns and lights. In those and other cases, when kept in uncommonly used devices, I've found the alkalines rarely crust over, although it has happened on occasion. I don't think they've ruined a single item in all my decades of professional and personal use. I've had to use and/or tried less-expensive batteries and there's a clear difference in strength, and therefore reliability. In rare cases in life, you find an almost-perfect item upon which to rely. To me, the alkaline Duracells are must-haves, and you can believe me when I say no one ever paid or even approached me to test these.

I've had to clean 4 Christmas candles that I stored last year because the batteries leaked badly. Apparently I can no longer leave Duracell batteries inside my electronic devices. On top of that, today, I had to throw away a little clock that I had for over 10 years that I had sitting on a shelve. It had 2 Duracell batteries inside. I immediately checked an emergency light that I have sitting in the corner for a just-in-case scenario and sure enough I found yet another battery leaking inside. Fortunately it did not too badly yet. I will NEVER purchase a Duracell product anymore unless I utterly have to. Duracell is not what it used to be anymore.

10 Years more like 10 Seconds
I purchased a pack of AAA Duracell copper top batteries for my laser lights on my power tools to replace the nondescript batteries that came with them. I installed the new Duracell's and nothing, not a glimmer of light, it says on the package guaranteed for 10 years I think it should have read 10 seconds. Had to go to the local shop and buy some Energizers now the lasers light up my workshop and I can work again. Won;t get fooled again.!!!!

Good batteries but leaks too much
All that requires batteries (and I have a ton of those things) have these batteries and they are real good batteries but for one thing ... they leak... I am okay with them leaking a bit. But in one instance, it leaked so bad that it got into the cover of my apple keyboard and prevented it from being opened, no matter how I tried or what I used.

Why pay premium for batteries that leak.
I used to believe their commercials, it was worth to pay premium for batteries that can work in harsh environments, that had to work when you need them most (that flashlight in your car when you are stranded in the middle of nowhere). The ones emergency personnel trust. Etc.\
Just found my 2 AA Maglite with 2 corroded batteries I can not even remove, then checked, and found:\
LED lamp with 4 AA corroded batteries\
Photography Flash unit with 4AA corroded batteries\
My spare car pack (4AA) 2 corroded.\
Sharp Home stereo remote 2AA corroded

I purchased a 2-pack 9V Duracell (with duralock) to replace a battery in a smoke detector approximately 2 months ago. These smoke detectors are also hard-wired so the battery is merely a "back-up". The thing is chirping already! I put the second battery from the pack in and it starting chirping almost immediately. Just went to the store and purchased an Energizer 9V which seems to have fixed the issue. I really expect about a year of use out of these 9V batteries in the smoke detectors...not 2 months.

I used to always buy Duracell batteries, but in the last 3-4 years I have lost 3 expensive flash lights and 4 or 5 cheap flash lights and a awesome remote control for a stereo receiver that could control multiple equipment and is no longer available. They just leak and corrode. I don't usually leave reviews but I am disappointed in the quality of late.

Another sad story of Duracell AA & AAA batteries
2025 Duralock AA & AAA batteries are evidently made in China, seems they don't last even a year and corrode even when sitting in the container! (see pic. I am about to throw away all my last batch of 2025 Duracell batteries and Energizers...

Almost ruined my camera flash.
I had four in my external Nikon external flash. Stored in my closet. They corroded and almost ruined my flash. Two of them were very hard to get out. In comparison I had another flash stored in the same place with generic batteries and they were fine.

2022 batteries already corroded in laptop cushion
Date 2022, here in 2018, they're already having horrid problems.\

Not having great success lately with Duracell Coppertop batteries.\

These totally messed up our laptop cushion (to drive the USB LED Light that can plug into the top of the cushion), used in air conditioned, well temperature controlled, house. So, I would not have expected this to happen in the least!\

I bought these specifically to use in things that won't have batteries changed in a hurry.

They Leak and Destroy Your Electronics
Beware, they leak. But to be fair, Energizer batteries also leak. So do the Kirkland Signature batteries from Costco. I go through a lot of batteries in kids' toys and also bicycle lights. I always buy batteries in bulk from Costco, and sometimes they leak while they are in the original package.

After less than 5 years, the AAA coppertops I purchased, leaked a white crystaline substance in their package. It was a package of 20 from which 4 cells had been removed. It's hard to tell exactly how many of the 16 batteries still in the package had leaked, but the crystals were everywhere in the package. The package was kept in a catch-all drawer in my kitchen. No extremes of temperature there.

What is going on with your Batteries? Been buying them for years with NO issues, now (my AAA) they are leaking! Not one or two, but 15 to 20+ in the last 6 to 9 months. Leaking in the package and also in the product. Until it is fixed I can not recommend or buy your batteries anymore. So far you batteries have not damaged anything.

AAA Batteries dated 2023 are corroding !
I generally use Duracell for all my battery needs and am pleased with their performance. However the AAA with the 2023 date are corroding at a fast rate. I became aware of this when I went to replace the batteries in one of my flashlights and found them very corroded. When I got my spare batteries I found that the whole box had corroded! I then noticed that both the batteries in the flash light and the box were both 2023. I then checked every thing else that I used AAA's for and found they were all corroding to some degree. I did find one that was dated 2016 and while it was dead, there was no sign of corrosion. So it must just be a problem with the 2023's.

Tried this battery in my toddlers favorite toy, usually have to replace the batteries every few weeks but these batteries have lasted such a long time. I’m so happy that we won’t have any more days where we have to go to the store to buy batteries for her favorite toy. Total lifesaver!

Definitely the best batteries

These are some great batteries! I use them in my Xbox controller because those seem to die so quickly, but these definitely lasted longer than I expected! Duracell is a fantastic brand of you want some batteries that will last for a while.

These batteries worked well to power my daughter's new stuffed animal doctor toy. She loved that the toy is able to work for a long time, and they don't need to be changed frequently. She loved that no matter how long or how often she plays with the toy it still works!

Always trust the copper-top
I have been buying Duracell for years and will probably continue to buy them for years to come. Whenever I am looking for a fresh set of batteries for the remote or my xbox controllers, I reach for the ones with the copper-top.

I received a sample of Duracell AA Copperyop Batteries to try out. The number one reason I buy Duracell batteries is that the battery life is amazing. They are guaranteed for 10 years in storage so you can buy a lot at a time and not have to worry about them expiring. Duracell is a brand you can trust and count on.

Duracell Coppertop Battery
There are times when you need a battery already charged and ready to go in case all of your rechargeables are being used, or need charging (and you went through all of those pre charged rechargeable batteries). That's where these come in handy.

The longest lasting, most reliable battery!
In our house, Duracell batteries are the only option. We have kids and having toys or remotes die after a few weeks is maddening. If you want things to work, every time, don’t use anything else. You’ll thank me!

I loved using the Duracell Coppertop batteries for my remote control. It’s a long lasting battery compared to other brands. The quality that Duracell batteries has can’t be beat by any other brand. It’s comforting when you have batteries like Duracell that you don’t have to worry about changing once a month.

You can't beat a Duracell battery!
Always reliable, always long lasting. You just cannot beat a Duracell for it's durability! We seem to go through so many AA batteries with all of the various gadgets and remotes we have. It's always nice to know you can stick a Duracell in and not have to worry about having to change it for a loooonnnnggggg time! Love them!

I swear by these batteries. I normally use dollar batteries. I ended up switching one of my daughters toys out with the Duracell and wow , the lights seem brighter and the toys move really fast now. We are officially switching everything over.

These are amazing batteries. My kids use these for their gaming controllers. And my kids game all day long!!!! They love when I bring these batteries home, cause they know they will not die on them like the cheap batteries we’ve previously purchased! These are definitely the best out there.

I love the Duracell batteries. They last a long time. We have 14 grandchildren and it seems like just about every time I turn around, someone needs a battery. We always keep Duracell on hand in many sizes. My husband even used them in his hearing aids. They work great.

Yes it’s bit pricier than your average brand but it’s not your average battery. Their charge holds longer for those of us who don’t need swapping out batteries after kids play with battery powered toys. The charge is reliable and does last for a long time. If you hate guessing how long batteries last, might as well get the brand that’s been trusted from your childhood.

Wouldn't use any other battery
I learned a long time ago to use quality batteries in all of my technology products and appliances. Duracell is my battery of choice. I have used store brand and other name brand batteries and I always come right back to Duracell because of the quality and long-lasting experience. I put these two Duracell batteries in a TV remote control a few weeks ago because I noticed the remoted seemed slow at changing channels. I opened up the back of the remote and replaced the old batteries with new Duracell batteries and the remote is changing channel fast and working like a charm!

Long Lasting Battery life!
Duracell is and always will be our family battery brand. It's long lasting life is a blessing with all the electronics my daughter uses and household remotes ect. I also love that they offer two pack sizes for those moments when your on the run and just need a couple batteries and don't want to buy a huge pack.

Great battery for my kids bubble blowing machine. It works good and lasts a long time in the toy. They would also be good for remote controls and clocks. They are good for anything high draining. Highly recommend to everyone.

Duracell has always made high-quality products and these AA batteries are no exception. I run through batteries like crazy. I use them for everything in the house. Remotes, cat toys, strings of lights, the trash can etc... \

I really like that Duracell really gives you your monies worth. Some brands have the shortest shelf-life and although they may be cheaper, they end up costing more in the long run. Duracell lasts so long that they are actually more cost effective. \

These are definitely my favorite brand of batteries and I will continue to use them as long as they make them. Highly recommended!

Great battery for all of our remotes. These batteries last a long time and even after prolonged unused time sitting in infrequently used items they don’t corrode. We also use these batteries for children’s toys that get used quite frequently and are occasionally left on after being played with and the batteries still last quite a long time. In another size, we use this brand of batteries for our smoke detectors and they last for years.

This is my number one choice when buying batteries. I used to buy the cheapest batteries the store had but I was always having to replace them once or twice sometimes in a 2 week period. But the Duracell coppertop last so much longer

Received my Duracell Coppertop Batteries and i have to say they are pretty amazing!! long-lasting, Duracell CopperTop AA Alkaline Batteries are great for many of the devices you use on a daily basis. remotes , flashlights to smoke detectors and toys, my kids have been using them in their toys and i have to say after many hours of play , the toy is still going strong! definitely will purchase again!!

Duracell has alwats been our familys first choice for batteries. From toys to remotes to tooyhbrushes it gives tge longest lasting power than other battery brands we gave trued and ysed iver the years. I use AA batteries in my mouse and I go through batteries on a regular basis. I've been in situations where I've run out of power when I'm on the road. I was looking for long life batteries, so I picked these up with a guaranteed long life. So far, so good.

My TV's remote control needs a new battery every year or so and I just replaced them with this pair of Duracell batteries. Here's to hoping it will be two years until I need to replace! I have used Duracell in high-intensity equipment (mostly RC cars) and they last much longer than other brands.

Right away I new that I wanted to use the Duracell Coppertop Batteries in our video game controller. We go through batteries so quickly in the controller because we usually use the cheaper batteries. The Duracell Coppertop Batteries last a whole lot longer that our previous batteries. They stay the same strength throughout their battery life. I will definitely be switching more of our batteries from the cheaper ones to these Duracell Batteries because they last longer.

I play a lot of video games and these are great for my Xbox controllers. I don't find myself changing out the batteries nearly as often as I used to when i used cheap batteries. Batteries can seem expensive when you buy them, but I buy Duracell because I know it's going to last.

Works great for my daughter’s toys, especially her remote control car. We go for a long walk every evening and her little car goes too. Usually we’re replacing the batteries every 3 days, because of how long of a walk we have, but it’s been 6 days with this one set and the batteries are still going strong! Definitely sticking with duracell from now on.

What do I say about batteries? They work! Of course. I usually use Duracell over other batteries if i have a choice. I dont know what it is or what it is called but i have noticed with mostly childrens toys but some other electronics the battery compartment part is very exact on measurements. Have you ever had a battery that is the right "size" (AA or AAA etc) and it still wobbles in the compartment? I have and it drives my kids crazy! Duracell batteries always fit and always last. Compared to other batteries Duracell also dont leak or get damaged as easily as others I have used with my kids toys either. Best batteries for us. And everyone needs batteries.

I love these batteries! When I received these batteries I put them in my kids game controller. My kids usually go through batteries rather quickly but they have been using these a week with no problem. They have been wondering why they haven't had to change them. I have already purchased these for other electronics we have around the house. What I have learned by using Duracell copper top batteries is that they last longer than any other brand I have tried. What is neat about these batteries is that they have an expiration date on the batteries themselves. The ones I tried sa March 2028. They also come in many different sizes. I reccomend these to everyone.

Duracell batteries are one of the best on the market, if not THE best. They last such a long time and are worth buying for everything that is battery operated. They easily last twice as long as cheap and store brand batteries in every size. I am still using mine now and they are not showing any sign of running down after a month of daily use. Highly recommended in every way!

I was always one who bought cheap batteries because I never wanted to spend much on them. Now that I have tried these Duracell batteries I have to admit they are worth paying more for. They last slit longer so you end up saving in the long run because you dont have to buy them as much. I will now always use Duracell because it just saves you money long term.

We use AA & AAA batteries in many things around our house from TV remotes, mouses, flashlights, toys etc. We used these Duracell batteries for our remote control for our main living room. We use it very frequently. Previous experience, as well as current, when we put Duracell batteries in our remotes, it seems to last forever. I know it will be quite a long time period before I have to change them out. Very dependable brand of batteries. Highly recommended.

Giving a review on a battery right when you get it really won’t tell you anything. It still works but it’s only been in the device for a few days. To be honest, I’ve never used batteries enough to tell you whether they last any longer than another brand. But I’ve never had a Duracell start to corrode in a drawer after a long time like some other cheaper brands.

This brand is already one of the best in the market. But this particular ones are long lasting. We use a lot of batteries for our xbox controllers and they will die usually in a week. This batteries are very long lasting! One of my favorite things about them are that the Color variance is great so I don’t have to put on my reading glass’ to install them in my devices, clocks and grandkids toys! The positive and Negative terminals are easily definable! \

Always been a fan of Duracell
I have always been a fan of Duracell batteries and it's been even more important to have Duracell AA batters on hand at all times once I became a dad. Now that my daughter is 6, she has more and more things that require AA batteries. It's really hard to say how long I should expect batteries to last, but we are a week into usage and my daughters remote control car is still going strong with EXTENSIVE daily use! We are a fan and it's certainly helpful when the batteries still have juice to keep my daughter and her friends having fun!

I love Duracell brand, it's the only brand that tends to last in my remotes. I have never used this specific product so I added to my remote to see how long they actually last compared to the other duracell products. These are guaranteed to last 10 years so can't give an opinion on that yet, but they did come in a geniune Duracell package and very well packaged.

The Duracell AA copper top batteries work very well! I recently used them in my kids WII remote. I am usually changing out the batteries every 3-4 days but with the Duracell, I’m on day 6 and still working! So awesome! They are easy to read the label and easy to figure out how to use. Dependable for all my baby gear needs

Only Battery We Trust and Use

Duracell has built a reputation for long-lasting battery life and their AAA battery is no exception. We use this size in a lot of our kid's toys and it holds up to their constant use a lot longer than I would under the same circumstances. I'm often amazed by the longevity of this battery.

Duracell offers solid performance. Toys and gadgets run exactly as they should with Duracell. I can always tell a difference between no-name batteries that often come standard in toys and when I replace them with Duracell. The toy's lights are brighter, the music is played more clearly and at an even rate, and the toy moves quicker. I always buy Duracell because they're consistent.

Being a mom of 4, ages 1 to 7, I go through a ton of batteries. Long lasting is important to me so I can get the most out of my money. It's been roughly 2 weeks or so since I opened these. I put them in my older kids wii remotes and they are still going strong. And they play the wii basically daily. I've had problems with other brand batteries already being dead when I opened them new. No problems with these!

I my opinion Duracell is the Gold Standard of batteries! All of my “in emergency” devices, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, flashlights, emergency radios, etc., are all equipped with Duracell batteries. The reason is simple: I need them to work when I need them! I have been let down by other batteries before. I feel that Duracell has the longest lasting batteries

Great set of batteries for my nephews high draining remote control car and whatever else he uses them for. I’ve tried buying brands that swear they last for so long and they die within a day . Well we’ve been using these since the day I received them and they’re working just as fresh as the first day! Great job Duracell.

been going through batteries on wireless mouse used for hours daily too quickly so finally broke down to get awesome quality batteries...hopefully these will last more than a few weeks like the other brand of batteries had been using

I really like Duracell batteries. So far these batteries have been great and have had no issues. I have used them about 2 weeks and never noticed any issues or never had to worry about replacing them in my remote control. I always have a great experience with Duracell batteries. I like to use them in products that are hard to get to such as a clock on the wall so i don't have to work hard to change the batteries.

Duracell makes the best quality batteries. With two kids we go through a ton of batteries in our house. A lot of toys come with generic batteries that last might last one or two weeks. We can go months with out changing batteries when we use the Duracell brand.

Best and long lasting battery
Coppertop duracel batteries are the best battery , i say this because it is very durable , long lasting . I started to use it in my toddler’s remote control car, he use it alot during the day and im fed up buying batteries for it , but its been a while now i started using coppertop duracel batteries in it , it still works , my son mostly play only with it most of the time and i was surprised to see it work still . Definately worth the money

Duracell absolutely the best!
At our house we use Duracell batteries because we have so many electronics and toys that use batteries we know without a doubt that we are saving money by buying Duracell as they last longer than any brand we have tried.What is the point in buying cheaper batteries she they are going to have to be replaced in weeks of getting, with Duracell we don't get weeks we get months of use. In our home Duracell is the trusted , tested and our go to brand 100%. Don't trust those cheap batteries for your emergency items like flashlights and radios be sure they work with Duracell.

I don't believe the ten year claim at all but this was a long lasting and durable battery that I used for my tv remote. I like that they are a classic, rechargeable battery and Duracell is a brand I have long used and trust. My device operated well using the batteries and I haven't had any issues. The connective poles are well defined and the battery pulls a quick charge. I'm satisfied with this products performance and design.

I always thought it didn't matter what brand you buy that they were all made in the same place and they just change the packaging boy was I wrong,this battery is all they say about it.I used it in my electronic devices and they lasted longer and seemed more powerful.

Lasts longer than other brands
Duracell batteries always last longer than other brands. I used these in flameless candles that automatically turn on and off everyday. They usually eat up the batteries but the Duracell ones lasted longer than any others I had tried.

At first I put the Duracell CopperTop Battery in my daughter’s Barbie Vanity light. I went to change my tv and my batteries were dead. So I put my new Duracell batteries in my tv remote. I know for a fact they will last a very long time. They are Guaranteed for 10 years.

I've been a fan of Duracell for many years, because my parents used them also. So when I tried these batteries I already knew what to expect. I replaced the store brand batteries in my remote with the Duracell batteries and it was a big improvement. Unlike the store brand, the Duracell batteries last a long time and I find that the performance is better. With other batteries you notice the product slowing down really quick, but with these I can honestly say they last a pretty long.

Duracells AAA Coppertop batteries are the best batteries that you can get. I have put mine in my motion sensor light in my garage. The light stays on for 10 minutes after you have left its detection range. So, it stays on for a considerable time everyday. Its been over a month now and the batteries are still going strong! I'm very happy with their quality and will always buy Duracell for all my battery purposes.

Got these batteries for a potable noise maker for my daughter. Other batteries were dying after a week of consistent use. Well, these battieres have been going strong for 2 weeks of consistent use. Duracell is a reliable brand! Plus, I love that they will last 10 years in storage.

Great value! Last so long!!
Duracell Copper top batteries are fantastic! I’ve got 2 kids and there are always batteries that need to be changed. I can depend on Duracell to last the longest in all of our toys and devices. My son has a camping lantern he leaves on all night, every night and I can depend on these batteries to last by far the longest (and I’ve tried a LOT of different brands!).

Works Slightly Better Than Expected
I've been using this battery in my laptop's mouse and it's still going strong. It's been a few weeks, which is a plus. I seem to recall having to change batteries every week before I started using rechargeables. Would buy this product and use again.

I have been using Duracell for years. I wouldn't use any other product now that I see how long these last. They definitely live up to their reputation. I have these batteries in my flashlight (as well as many other of my things) and find that they still last even though I don't use my flashlight on a daily basis. Great product and company.

In this day an age, an accountant without a mouse is just sad. I don’t normally use my touchpad due to it being terrible at keeping up with me. Well I slapped these babies onto my mouse and almost couldn’t keep up with it! Now they have only been in there four about two weeks, but knowing this brand, it will be next tax season before I need to replace them!

As a mom, I feel like my kids are always asking for batteries for their toys. Duracell is a brand I can trust to keep these toys running for as long as possible. Lately my daughter has been into taking pictures and videos and Duracell has kept her camera running longer then anything else.

Duracell a name you can trust
I went to check my child’s temp only to find the batteries in it were bad I switched them out for Duracell and it worked like new immediately making the flashing light disappear. Duracell is a brand I can trust a product that has been around for a long time and gets the job done when I need it to. Would highly recommend this battery and will continue to make sure I have some on hand always you never know when your battery is going to die.

Duracell Coppertop Batteries have been my favorite for many years. Nothing lasts longer or is more reliable than Duracell. I put these AA batteries in a digital camera that loves to drain batteries. After popping in the batteries, I could take 200+ pictures before the indicator on the camera showed a little dent. I would highly recommend to anyone who hates changing batteries constantly and hasn’t made the switch to rechargeable batteries.

Don’t use with Apple keyboard
Battery leaked and destroyed Apple wireless keyboard. Had to completely destroy keyboard only to realize I would only ever be able to get one of the two batteries out.

Duracell just never fails me. I used these batteries for applicances which require power around the clock. In this case, yes, I used them on the wall clocks that I have in my home and my television remote. Months later, I find myself thinking, "When was the last time I change the batteries?" In my mind, this is the greatest problem to have when it comes to batteries. Try these; they'll be your new go-to.

I think these Duracell batteries are the best to have. They are high quality and long lasting. AA batteries are a must have in my household, I'm always needing them for something. These are good for remotes, toys and anything else that takes these kind of batteries. I highly recommend them.

The Duracell Coppertop Batteries are the BEST batteries hands down! I absolutely LOVE the fact they guarantee 10 years of life. I put these batteries in my remote control and they work amazing for me. I HATE to change batteries when they go dead, so the Duracell Coppertop Batteries are exactly what I need since they have a long life! I would highly suggest Duracell Coppertop Batteries for anyone who HATES changing batteries like me when things go dead!!

Duracell! A must for game controllers!
The best battery for our X-Box controllers! It seemed I was constantly buying batteries for my sons controllers even though they are always turned off when not in use and game time is limited other brands just did not last half as long as the Duracell batteries have.

I am an avid user of Duracell batteries and have been for years. They just tend to last a whole lot longer than other batteries on the market. I use them in all of my gadgets from my tv remote control to my laptop mouse. I don't have to worry about them dieing in the middle of me trying to use them. I would highly recommend Duracell batteries to anyone that wants a long lasting battery.

Going strong after a few weeks
So far these batteries are amazing. They have been in our Xbox controller for almost a month now. The batteries are still going strong with no sign of dying anytime soon. It is wonderful to not have to switch out batteries weekly. So far I have no complaints.

Can't Test 10-Year Storage Guarantee, Works Fine
I put these in our Roku remote (2-pack AA) since that is an item that drains batteries quickly, especially since we use the headphone jack often. So far, so good -- but it's only been less than a month. A 10-year storage guarantee is hard to verify since we use batteries constantly in this house with a family of 4 (2 are kids), but if it lasts over 1 year, I'll be happy! Product arrived in perfect condition, and expiration of March 2028. If Duracell would like to follow-up with me in a year or more, let me know!

It seems that someone in this house always needs batteries for one thing or another. I have a doorbell that takes the AAA batteries and I have to say that the Duracell lasts longer then the other brands. I have had these in for about 3 weeks now with no problems.

They really do last a long, long time
My son has LED's above his bed that he sleeps with every night. They're battery powered, and I can always count on him to come to me every other week to ask me for new batteries. Usually I go to the junk drawer and grab him a random mish-mosh of batteries, but this last time I figured why not give him the good stuff? It's been over a month and he still hasn't asked me for new ones. That's a win in my book.

These have been working great. A brand you can trust to provide power to all our battery operated devices: toys, clocks, flashlights...the list is endless. I find that Duracell last long and has solid strength. The package says "guaranteed for 10 years". Can't beat that!

I was wondering why my newer 9volt batteries were not lasting as long as the older ones did and noticed that they made in Malaysia and not in the USA. Not nearly as good as the old made in the USA ones were. and the packaging on most batteries say made from global parts in the USA.

Works great for the remote for my son’s drone. The previous batteries we used lasted maybe a day. We’ve had these in for 3 so far and they haven’t failed yet! I already purchased additional to swap out the batteries in the rest of his toys.

The batteries are terrific, but someone finally figured out a better packaging for the multipacks. You don't need to rip open the back or use a pair of scisssors to cut through the tough plastic. And it is easily recloseable, too. Thanks, Duracell.

PSA: No Need to store in fridge.
Some of the Duracell CopperTop AA batteries I have were exhibiting very short life and I called Duracell Customer Service to inquire about their 10-Year Life Guarantee. They told me that batteries with no Mercury don't need to be stored in the fridge. Most batteries after 1999 don't user Mercury. I immediately got all my batteries out of the fridge. PSA. FYI.
