Very unimpressed with a battery discovered in a flashlight - when you need it - that leaked and ruined the device. It was apparently made in 2014 in China; discovered in U.S. in April 2016; 'best used by' date of March 2020.

Date Code: March 2017 (Who Are They Kidding?)
Unfortunately, this higher-priced, and supposedly better-quality, and long-lived battery ruined my wife's little Maglite. This little flashlight was NOT kept in a location with big temperature swings, like a car's glove box, but was in her purse!
Very disappointed!!
The standard advice of removing batteries from devices when not in use is impractical, especially for devices carried with a person. Totally impractical!
We had expected better performance from a Duracell battery!

AAA and AA alkaline batteries leak in every device
Your battery products quality has gone down in the last few years. They leak in every device I put them in and damage it. This one leaked in the refrigerator before I even used it with a year left on the expiration date. Very very upset with your products. Never buy them again

Guaranteed to leak and ruin whatever it's kept in
I've had more five devices in the last six months ruined when I found that the Coppertop AA's left inside leaked. I will not use these again.

I have had 4 mag lites, 1 blood pressure monitor,\
and 1 pair of electronic muffs ruined by leaking coppertop batteries. What has happened to duracell quality ?

Duracell just keeps improving!
I'm a Grandpa with 11 grands that are always needing batteries. Over the years I've learned through good and not-so-good experiences that cheap batteries are no bargain and Duracells seem to last "forever" on the shelf, whether in storage prior to use or after a toy or appliance has been energized. Yes, I've had a few leaks over the years but I can attest that the Duracell people are the quickest and easiest to get things rectified!!! They have my vote .... I'll continue purchasing Duracells!

Unopened Package, Not Expired, and Leaking!
We keep our batteries in a cool, dry storage space. Went to take out some AAAs today and saw that more than half of the batteries in our Duracell package (expiration date of March 2017), completely unopened and unused, were leaking. The other batteries (non-Duracell) in the storage space were still fine. Thankfully I did not ruin any devices with these leaking batteries!

dollar store batteries don't leak
stamped 2023 and 2025 long life, Don't believe the 10 year claim they leak and corrode in the package, I'd rather use a cheap battery in my devices that don't leak. Interesting the ones stamped 2015 and 2013 didn't leak. Taking them out of all my devices

I have used duracell coppertop batteries for years. Last week I was surprised to come across ones that had leaked. Today I was checking a flashlight that I use for emergencies and it didn't work. When I looked inside the batteries were so corroded I had a hard time getting them out. When I did I found that their useful date was 2020. I will no longer be buying your batteries. In looking on line I find that a lot of people have had the same problem.

Good batteries but leaks too much
All that requires batteries (and I have a ton of those things) have these batteries and they are real good batteries but for one thing ... they leak... I am okay with them leaking a bit. But in one instance, it leaked so bad that it got into the cover of my apple keyboard and prevented it from being opened, no matter how I tried or what I used.

Sorry but Duracell was a name I trusted but I can't bring myself to buy another Duracell battery. I have unfortunately had them leak into so many products, damaging them and now I much take the time and post some reviews. Usually I just throw them out including the device on occasions. See the photo showing just one example of a battery that leaked. It was one of three installed the other test as still having a full charge. What can I say but I am utterly sick of it happening over.

Leaked - Destroyed desk phone
I thought Duracell batteries were not supposed to leak.\
But the ones in my desk phone leaked\
and destroyed the desk phone battery box via corrosion. \
So I no longer see any reason to pay premium for Duracell products.

This truly is the battery that goes on and on!!!
Duracell has always been my battery of choice and on yesterday (11/26/17), when after all these years, I had to finally replace the batteries in Mr. Talking Mailbox, I was super surprised to see that the batteries were still in excellent condition, not an ounce of corrosion. It was simply amazing! My daughter was 5 years old when I bought this christmas decor; she is now 23. This is the 1st time we've ever changed his batteries. The mailbox batteries are used often during the season, as it activates conversation anytime someone comes near it or the wind blows hard. Note: I did have a pair of Energizer batteries in my kitchen drawer, but they could not be used, as they had lots of corrosion and these were new batteries never used. Hmmmm, I guess that's why Duracell is my battery of choice. My husband must have bought the Energizers. LOL! We've replaced Mr. Mailbox with new Duracell's: Exp 2027, but I think they will most likely out last that time period as well. I guess when my grandchildren are 25, he will once again need to have his batteries replaced.Thank you Duracell! (i've attached pictures for proof)

I purchased 4 new batteries and all 4 batteries were dead according to the Pulse Load Multi-Battery Tester. The batteries were installed in smoke alarms and failed after 24-hours. The number on the bottom of all 4 batteries is 7187 A967.

Duracell batteries NEVER used to leak! Now they are giving their nearest competitor a challenge for the worst batteries ever. Duracell,l if you are monitoring you need to figure out what the problem is. Your reputation is ruined!

Batteries go bad in storage!
I buy the bulk back of batteries at a box stored, however, I find that some go bad before I can use them even though the date to use them buy is 2023! The store will not do anything about it, but this happens often enough that the batteries are becoming expensive. I am going to research batteries for another brand.

Best batter ever... till they're not
time to change the batteries in the fire alarms. had some guaranteed 5 year in storage 9V's in my desk drawer. copyright on the back is from 2013. to the best of my knowledge 2018 minus 2013 = 5. neither battery in the dual pack worked. one had a melted bottom crystalized growth going on. no, i dont have the original sales receipt. 1 of 5 stars.

went to replace the C batteries in my Mag flashlight and discovered a leaker \
I can not even extract the battery from my light so the whole unit is ruined . last month my GPS was destroyed by Duracell before that was my camera

Quality Control has declined
In the last year I have purchased packs (both AA and AAA) with dead batteries and once that have chemical leaks. The use by dates are well in the future (Dec 2025). Need to hire someone that can fix their quality control process.

HAVE USED A LIFETIME and now shopping for another
Since a kid, my DAD swore by these (Hurricane dependable in New Orleans.) Now they are not as good. They rupture too easily in warm climates. Used to have on shelf IN LIGHT or whatever for YEARS w/o problems. Now after a year you can expect leaking and destroying your light. They have destroyed 2 "D" cell MAGlights (NOT CHEAP) and some "AA" & "AAA" lights and remote control units ... My brother still in NOLA is having same issue so this is not just a "HOT & DRY" problem! IT IS A REDUCED SHIELDING PROBLEM TO CUT PRODUCTION COSTS! FED UP & going to another product. Starting to explore Delco & Energizer and some recharge units.

The difference between Duracell batteries vs cheap batteries is crazy. It seems like Duracell last 10x longer. The best example is my Xbox controllers. Cheap batteries will only last a week or two. Duracell will last 2-3 months.

I put these batteries in my living room TV remote. Other batteries would drain so fast and make the remote halfway work. These batteries are long lasting and the remote now works like new. I love them.

Definitely the best batteries
I’m constantly getting different batteries for my kids toys. The Duracell coppertop batteries are the best. They last much longer than the ones that supposedly keep on going. Not even! I only use Duracell.

Duracell has done it again! The Coppertop battery is well worth it. We have many electronics in our house that take batteries. It seems like with most brands we are having to replace daily. Game console remotes, tv remotes, remote control cars.. you name it, we have it! These will be on the shopping list when we go out so we can get those long lasting batteries that everyone loves!

The BEST Batteries by Far!!
Only the Duracell batteries have been able to withstand the excessive use of all the electronic devices that are now used in our home! They literally last 10 times longer than any other battery we’ve tried. These are, bar none, the BEST batteries made!

I received these batteries in exchange for a review. What can I say about Coppertop batteries except for the fact that they are the best on the market. I have been using Coppertop forever. They last, period! I trust them in my smoke detectors because I know how long they last. My Tv remotes and my children's toys. Coppertop is a name I trust.

I use a lot of AA batteries for my kids toys and they drain out so quickly and we constantly keep changing batteries. But when I tried this Duracell coppertop battery I realized it’s really long lasting as advertised.\
I dint believe it at first but when I started using it in toys I noticed that it doesn’t drain like out batteries .\

I tried using it in my son’s fire truck which makes sounds and also moves so he uses it all day and this battery is just perfect . It does last well .\
It’s great for clocks, tv remote , remote controlled toys, or any household devices which needs AA. \
\
The quality is great and definitely the most trusted brand . I am loving it. Glad I tried this and I will go with Duracell further so that I need not spend money constantly changing batteries.

No other for safety, reliability, and comfort
The most paramount reason I depend on Duracell Coppertop is for safety. I utilize Duracell in the flashlights I keep in my glove boxes of all my vehicles and in my flashlights at home. Having Duracell Coopertop batteries in them gives me the comfort and security of knowing that in a time of crisis (i.e., electricity outage) or even not a crisis (if I simply need to look in a dark spot and need a flashlight), I know that the reliability of Duracell Coppertop batteries will be there. I always have "spares" on hand in my emergency kit, and knowing that they have a 10 year guarantee is refreshing to know that I can store it and forget it. I trust Duracell Coppertop batteries to provide me the peace and comfort of knowing that it will be there when I need it most.

great for kids game remotes. We go threw batteries like water. I had been using a different brand but I believe the durcell is going to give us more bang for our buck. Definitely will be stocking up to keep the kids games and other devices going longer.

Nothing Can Stop the Copper Top!
This is a great battery, top of the line. 2 of these are currently sitting in my Xbox controller and I know they’ll last me thru many adventures. I love the colors, the sleekness, and knowing my batteries are Duracell!

Best batteries on the market!
Duracell Coppertop batteries are the best batteries on the market! Not only do they have a shelf life of 10 years, they perform perfectly and for a lot longer than other batteries. I got so tired of having to replace the cheapos every week. So, I'm extremely happy I found the highest quality batteries out there....Duracell Coppertops!

I swear by these batteries. I normally use dollar batteries. I ended up switching one of my daughters toys out with the Duracell and wow , the lights seem brighter and the toys move really fast now. We are officially switching everything over.

I’m todays world where almost everything you use requires heavy duty power, I always use durecell copper top batteries! Is there any other kind? Nothing worse than running out of power.This has happen to me many times using other batteries

Wouldn't use any other battery
I learned a long time ago to use quality batteries in all of my technology products and appliances. Duracell is my battery of choice. I have used store brand and other name brand batteries and I always come right back to Duracell because of the quality and long-lasting experience. I put these two Duracell batteries in a TV remote control a few weeks ago because I noticed the remoted seemed slow at changing channels. I opened up the back of the remote and replaced the old batteries with new Duracell batteries and the remote is changing channel fast and working like a charm!

I used these in my granddaughter's toy computer. She is on it all the time and I don't have to worry about a crying fit because it quit working. I have used Duracell for years and will continue to do so. Best battery around.

Duracell AA batteries are great for a variety of different products. I like to put them in my kids toys, remote controls and a variety of other items. They seem to last pretty long before the item needs new batteries. The packaging is very slim, which makes it great to store when not in use. I really like that on the back of the packaging it is perforated so it’s very easy to open.

Great for video game controllers
These have lasted a long time in my son's video game controller. I figure that the best way to test the longevity of a battery is to put it to good, regular use. It has outlasted our prior brand of choice. We will be buying these again.

These are the only Battery I used in my home they last a very long time they are excellent and good quality and they don't over heat to burn out I really enjoyed this product .the other battery died out very fast and I always have to switch everytime and it's very frustratingId so I switch to these products long-lasting .

I can always trust Duracell to last longer, be a fresh product, and to work as advertised. Batteries are definitely a thing to not scrimp on and buy an off brand!! These last twice as long in my son's gaming system than other brands and are totally worth it!

I used CopperTop Alkaline Batteries (AA - 2 pack) in my sons's racing car. CopperTop Alkaline Batteries are long lasting and work great as my son plays his car all day and it goes on and on. Highly recommended as a great buy!!

I use Duracell for everything! Cheap batteries always drain so much more quickly and it's so worth it to pay just a little more for quality. Energizer is close in value but I've always found that Duracell lasts the longest. It's all I ever have in my home.

This is my number one choice when buying batteries. I used to buy the cheapest batteries the store had but I was always having to replace them once or twice sometimes in a 2 week period. But the Duracell coppertop last so much longer

Best Long Lasting Batteries
These batteries are amazing. If you need a good brand of batteries that actually last more than a few days, these are where it is at. My kids have an gaming system and the wireless controller on it eats batteries like crazy. Since we started using this brand we actually are able to get good use out of them. They last for a long time, it's been almost 10 days and the controller is still working - which is amazing!! I will not buy any other brand of batteries, these are the best.

Duracell has alwats been our familys first choice for batteries. From toys to remotes to tooyhbrushes it gives tge longest lasting power than other battery brands we gave trued and ysed iver the years. They have always offered so many different sizes and alwats tge best power for the price! We nake sure to keep thrm handy at home or in the car and even on hand for emergencies. I really love this battery. I hate having somthing die while im in the middle of using it but I didnt have a problem with these at all they lasted such a long time and my device never felt like it wasnt getting enuf power. I will be having a few of these on hand at all times.

I use AA batteries in my mouse and I go through batteries on a regular basis. I've been in situations where I've run out of power when I'm on the road. I was looking for long life batteries, so I picked these up with a guaranteed long life. So far, so good.

Right away I new that I wanted to use the Duracell Coppertop Batteries in our video game controller. We go through batteries so quickly in the controller because we usually use the cheaper batteries. The Duracell Coppertop Batteries last a whole lot longer that our previous batteries. They stay the same strength throughout their battery life. I will definitely be switching more of our batteries from the cheaper ones to these Duracell Batteries because they last longer.

I play a lot of video games and these are great for my Xbox controllers. I don't find myself changing out the batteries nearly as often as I used to when i used cheap batteries. Batteries can seem expensive when you buy them, but I buy Duracell because I know it's going to last.

Copper top Alkaline AA 2 pack work great on my husbands train set he keeps up all year and we hardly ever need to buy extra, but we still do, for other electronics in our house. High Quality Batteries, Great Packaging
I’ve learned that you really do get what you pay for when it comes to batteries, and Duracell CopperTop batteries will do exactly what they promise. These CopperTop Alkaline batteries are sturdy and long lasting, and I always have a multipack in storage, ready to go. This two pack is handy for tucking in my work tote so I’m never caught without Duracells. I really like the packaging-- the perforated opening in the back gives easy access to the batteries without having to tear the entire package apart. I use CopperTops in all my household remotes, and can’t remember the last time I had to replace them.

When you have kids obsessed with racing their remote control cars, you need to have a good battery on hand. We have tried other brands, but none last as long as Duracell. These are great batteries and so far going strong. I used them in my remote which is used 24/7 between my husband and kids. I would say they are very comparable to other name brands. I did put the batteries in my daughters remote control car today and she played with it for a few hours without any battery issues. Once she was done they went right back in the remote.

We put this battery in a wall clock that never seemed to run right. Now it keeps perfect time and doesn't miss a beat. You can buy cheaper batteries but they will not work as well and you will have to buy them a lot more often.

Great for the high drain devices in the house. My kids are constantly going through batteries with toys, remotes, and controllers. So, far these has last the longest with their train set. Although I use these batteries all over my home, I primarily use them in my bathroom scale because they truly last & last. (I’d guesstimate that the batteries in my scale last 3-4 months). Reliable and long lasting batteries
These Duracell Coppertop alkaline batteries are some of the best I have used. They are reliable and last a long time. I use them in things like remotes, flashlights, clocks, my Bluetooth speaker, toys, & more and they don’t lack in power. A lot of battery operated items I own use AA, so this would be the battery I look for when shopping. The copper top stands out, so it makes them easier to find. I would recommend them.

My family has always been super brand loyal to Coppertops! I have been using them forever. I've been using Duracell batteries for years. I've tried so many brands but I keep coming back to these. They really are the best and longest lasting. Now that I have a baby, we need so many batteries. Every single thing he plays with requires batteries. I feel better knowing that this brand will last and I wont be scrambling to replace dead batteries every time. I also like to use them in clocks because they last and help keep the time. I love Duracell brand, it's the only brand that tends to last in my remotes. I have never used this specific product so I added to my remote to see how long they actually last compared to the other duracell products. These are guaranteed to last 10 years so can't give an opinion on that yet, but they did come in a geniune Duracell package and very well packaged.

I used these batteries in a flashlight, they work well , they produced a very bright light. I have always used Duracell batteries. No need to waste your money on anything else. My 2 boys had a lot of toys that needed batteries to run, they would use them for hours at a time. I'm not sure about the 10 yr warranty though.

Dependable for all my baby gear needs

I will normally just buy cheap batteries. When I used Duracell for my clothes shaver, wow, what a difference. It ran much more efficient and the speed was really increased. I didn't think a battery really made much difference, but I was wrong. I will be using Duracell in the future

My 9 yr old daughter goes through so many batteries.. I was spending so much on batteries and I got to the point I just started buying cheap batteries. The DURACELL Coppertop Battery is the only ones to use. I have tried others, and they don't last nearly as long as these do. I use them for everything, from games, my fragrance holders that require batteries, my smoke alarms in my home, and all my flashlights. This battery last for a really long time and that is such a plus, and overall only a few pennies more then others, while saving money, since you don't need to buy them as often.

Best and long lasting battery
Coppertop duracel batteries are the best battery , i say this because it is very durable , long lasting . I started to use it in my toddler’s remote control car, he use it alot during the day and im fed up buying batteries for it , but its been a while now i started using coppertop duracel batteries in it , it still works , my son mostly play only with it most of the time and i was surprised to see it work still . These Duracell alkaline batteries last way longer than the heavy duty batteries. I highly recommend them for any toy that drains batteries fast. The only batteries we buy
Duracell coppertop batteries are our go to batteries for all our battery powered electronics and devices. These batteries last an extremely long time in devices like game controllers which are used everyday in our home. We also have a small stockpile on hand during hurricane season because they are the only brand we trust to power our portable lanterns and flashlights because we know they don’t drain quickly and in situations where our power is out we need a quality product we can depend on. You can never have enough batteries, they are always useful and Duracell is a brand I always try to get. I can't say how long this set will last since I haven't had them that long but with using Duracell for a very long time, I know these will last a long time. I put them in my granddaughters toy a few weeks ago and they are still going strong and I expect them to last much longer. These batteries are on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and these are worth it.

Duracell is my brand of choice and has been for many years. I have tried other brands, but always come back to Duracell. It lasts longer than the other brands. I like to buy the giant packs so I always have them on hand!

I really love these batteries because they last so much longer than the cheaper ones. I put these in my daughter's toy and it seems to preform so much better. They fit in real nice and do not leak like other cheap batteries do.

I've been a fan of Duracell for many years, because my parents used them also. So when I tried these batteries I already knew what to expect. I replaced the store brand batteries in my remote with the Duracell batteries and it was a big improvement. Unlike the store brand, the Duracell batteries last a long time and I find that the performance is better. With other batteries you notice the product slowing down really quick, but with these I can honestly say they last a pretty long.

Used these batteries in multiple devices and held up great in all instances. I typically use these kind of batteries in tech devices that I want to last a long with... Like a remote controller for the TV.

Got these batteries for a potable noise maker for my daughter. Other batteries were dying after a week of consistent use. Well, these battieres have been going strong for 2 weeks of consistent use. Duracell is a reliable brand! Plus, I love that they will last 10 years in storage.

Great value! Last so long!!
Duracell Copper top batteries are fantastic! I’ve got 2 kids and there are always batteries that need to be changed. I can depend on Duracell to last the longest in all of our toys and devices. My son has a camping lantern he leaves on all night, every night and I can depend on these batteries to last by far the longest (and I’ve tried a LOT of different brands!).

We have 2 children at home, so we can never have enough batteries for their electronics. Since we constantly go through batteries, I was excited to try these instead of our usual store brand. These batteries last much longer and perform much better than other batteries we've tried. We will continue to purchase these batteries for our household items.

We have several battery operated products - we typically buy generic in bulk, but it seems we were always having to change them out. These work great and we can definitely tell a difference, even on immediate use (flashlights seem brighter), on longevity of life!

Duracell is a fantastic battery for all of my small child's toys! As you know, everything kid toy takes batteries and can easily add it. With Duracell, I find myself less frequently having to purchase new batteries because of how long they last!

Duracell a name you can trust
I went to check my child’s temp only to find the batteries in it were bad I switched them out for Duracell and it worked like new immediately making the flashing light disappear. Duracell is a brand I can trust a product that has been around for a long time and gets the job done when I need it to. Would highly recommend this battery and will continue to make sure I have some on hand always you never know when your battery is going to die.

I used this on a light that needs batteries and it eats them up. This battery lasted longer than some other ones I was using. It usually eats up batteries in a week but with these it took about 2 weeks which is great!

What else can u say about the copper top? It speaks for itself. Excellent quality battery to purchase. In the battery world u get what u pay for. These batteries are excellent. I highly recommend trying these anytime u want a lasting battery.

Exactly what you would expect from the quality of the "copper top". I am so tired of having to replace the batteries in my kids toys so frequently. Having to unscrew the battery door every time is very annoying. It also powered my wireless mouse for much longer than other brands.

I still love this battery!
I Love Duracell batteries because i feel like they really stand behind their promises! I can trust them from everything to a remote, to my electric shaver and i dont have to worry about replacing them every other week. Currently the ones i have are in a play guitar and it brings joy, so im thankful itll last! I am, and always will be very impressed by the quality of these batteries!

These are great batteries. These batteries are strong and long lasting. They work perfectly in my small flashlight that I keep bed side for emergencies. Duracell is definitely a brand that I trust. I will always have Duracell batteries in the battery backup drawer.

We put these in a remote control that is used on a regular basis about a month ago and so far they have held up great. In my experience, Duracell never seems to disappoint when it comes to batteries.

I've always like the Duracell brand, but hadn't used the Coppertop variety. I'm glad to say that it was right in line with the Duracell brand. It's actually still being used in my product and doesn't seem like it will be stopping anytime soon. I don't even want to use a different type of battery anymore.

I am an avid user of Duracell batteries and have been for years. They just tend to last a whole lot longer than other batteries on the market. I use them in all of my gadgets from my tv remote control to my laptop mouse. I don't have to worry about them dieing in the middle of me trying to use them. I would highly recommend Duracell batteries to anyone that wants a long lasting battery.

Still going strong after a month of non-stop use
I have been using the Duracell AA battery in my daughter's night light/light show for the past month and I am extremely impressed with them. She tends to use the light even during the daytime because she likes the stars on her ceiling so it is pretty much non-stop "on the clock" and they are still going strong, the lights are just as bright as when we put the batteries in and show no signs of stopping. I have always used the other brand but I can tell you from experience that Duracell has won the race and we will be using them solely from now on.

These batteries are, by far, the best yet!!! I am so tired of replacing my children’s batteries all of the time. Since I received these, we have not had to change the batteries in his remote control! I will forever be a loyal Coppertop fan!!

When you buy off brand batteries they are usually not working in a week or two. These batteries last way beyond my expectations and keeps my grandson happy when he is playing with his remote car when he visits.

We all know that Duracell is a good battery. From past experience even with leaving them in kids toys for years I have yet to have one leak. Duracell has been the battery I know and trust. So nothing better then the copper top.

Can't Test 10-Year Storage Guarantee, Works Fine
I put these in our Roku remote (2-pack AA) since that is an item that drains batteries quickly, especially since we use the headphone jack often. So far, so good -- but it's only been less than a month. A 10-year storage guarantee is hard to verify since we use batteries constantly in this house with a family of 4 (2 are kids), but if it lasts over 1 year, I'll be happy! Product arrived in perfect condition, and expiration of March 2028. If Duracell would like to follow-up with me in a year or more, let me know!

I put these batteries in my Fire TV remote and it's been over a month and I haven't had to replace them!! That's quite an accomplishment, since I have to normally replace them every few weeks. I can't figure out why it goes through so many batteries but I won't be using anything other than Duracell Coppertop, from now on!

Duracell Coppertop AA Batteries are the best, especially for high drain products. We had to change batteries daily in the gaming controllers using an off brand, these have lasted weeks so far! They’re high quality and a great value. Other brands didn’t hold up for drone flying either, these do! We’ll keep these stocked for everyday devices as well as for emergency’s.

These batteries are great for devices that get a lot of use and will last for a long time. I am no longer changing the batteries out of my kids Xbox controllers every few days. They get used daily and these have held up for a few weeks. Definitely a great buy and I recommend using these batteries for all of your electronic devices that get frequent use.

Didn't last as long as I'd hoped.
I put these on one of Wii remotes and they were used exclusively for that Wii remote unfortunately it only lasted two weeks and we don't constantly play either. I would have hoped it would have lasted at least a month. However the remote works really well while the batteries did last. My son was able to finish and beat the game he was playing and start a new game.

Battery Leaking although device never used
I bought 40 batteries and some lasted fine; all with the use by date: 2025. Now some are failing and 4 starting to leak, ruining a fan during a heat wave! The fan had been stored in plastic and never used, so the QC issue is with Duracell. That poor performance is unacceptable for such a well-known established company. I expected a far better product.

Long-Lasting! And you don't have to rush to open!
These batteries are amazing! And the package life is really long so it's nice to not have to worry about it/know they will be good when I use them. This is the only type of battery I will buy from now on for remotes, etc. I can throw them in a storage box and have them when needed. Super recommend. This is my second time using these and have waited 6 mos sometimes before opening!!

I love the idea of a 10 year battery, but all the batteries that are in any of my devices for more than 2 months always leak, every time. I realize i'm suppost to remove them for long storage, but the devices are just used very little all the time. I quit buying these and now buy EverReady and don't worry about leakage. Please fix this problem Duracell!! You have known about it for a long time.

Not Long Lasting at ALL, leaking!
Why do your AAA batteries continue to leak! Went to use a measure device only to find out it wasn't working. Open it up to find the batteries leaked! This has NEVER happen before, what is going on?

Leaks: destroys the electronic device
It seems like in the last 5 years that Duracell Alkaline cells have become much more prone to leakage and corrosion. I will now avoid the brand.
