Discovery 1100 Document Camera, 6.1" x 6.53" x 11.57

I used this product for my students and it works great. Easy to set up and easy to use. Small and space saving which is a plus. I was not aware of this product before receiving it as a sample to review. It makes class much easier. I would recommend this product to others!

I love everything about this item, the camera is HD. It's really easy to use. Best item I have ever received. Works wonder with my computer and projector. The ones they have at my school are a little older, so the kids at my school are amazed by seeing a different model.

Better than other i have tried.

I was so excited trying out the Discovery 1100 Document Camera. It was easy to hook up and easy to use. It has a remote giving you the ability to move around. It doesn't take up a lot of room. I wanted for a while to try a system like this out but was not able to now I wish I had looked into it soon. I believe the class will enjoy it too.

The Discovery Document Camera was very easy to set up. The quick start guide had all of the information I needed in it and was simple to read and follow. Everything was nicely packaged and ready to use. I am good with technology, but not great. I found the software simple to install and use. The Document Camera is quite sturdy and durable. Documents are easy to move around and show up great on the board. It will be perfect for everything from modeling handwriting skills to working math problems and science labs. I teach all subjects so I have thought about how I am going to use it in many different ways. While discussing handouts students can see exactly what I am talking about. I can show them where we are in the textbook, share magazine articles with them, demonstrate how to use a calculator, zoom in on small text, etc. This is such a diverse product and I'm so excited to build my curriculum around it. It's going to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of my teaching dramatically.

This product not only made my job easier but more fun!!! I want to use it more now!!!  My students love using this over looking at a computer screen, it makes it more fun and reciting for them as well. The quality is excellent! Beyond what I expected and the look is sleek and futuristic!!

I teach Sunday school each Sunday. I teach the youth group so I am always trying to include visual tech in my lessons. This camera removed the clunky overhead projector and replaced it with a small and portable camera that does so much more. The zoom feature is awesome! This is super easy to use and install on any laptop. Setup is quick and easy. The kids were all very impressed with the technology of this as well. I recommend this to all church educators and school educators.

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, only because of price. I feel as an educator that every teacher needs one of these, however the price is a drawback. This camera/document viewer is of phenomenal quality. Compared to others, it is easier to use and the quality transfer of images are perfect.

I have been using this camera to help my boys with home schooling. It was very easy to set up and easy to use. It has a remote giving you the ability to move around. The camera makes the picture so clear and makes everything easy to see on the computer screen and the projector.

Set up and software installation was easy and seamless, I do wish the software were, I guess, embedded in the machine to make it plug n play but it's not a deal breaker. Upon first use I realised this device completely replaces an overhead projector and it's so compact. I like that the remote allows me to control the screen from around the room. I was most excited to attach this to our microscope and I was not disappointed. This is one cool device and it reminds me a little bit of the smart board. I'm glad we got to try this out and it'll be with our class for years, great warranty too!

I used this camera on a classroom setting to share printed materials over a projector.
The quality of the image was great and the product was well built. It came with all the cables I needed making setup easy.

I have been using this camera in class for about 2 months.  There are pros and cons but I really want to discuss how it engaged the students.  They really like that I was able to enlarge items on the screen.  The students were able to see the minor details on the screen and I was able to talk about the finer points of our study.  The kiddos were also able to help me use it.  It did take me little time to get it just right, so I wish the setup was more intuitive.  But the biggest pro is that the kiddo love being able to see the details on screen.  It has enhanced my class plan and Im excited to use it more this fall!

Best item i've ever had! The camera quality is just amazing. I use this everyday in class. I got it a year ago and it still working as new.
