I love this product for dishes. It makes me happy every time I use it and for that I am grateful. Dishes are not my favorite activity, and this makes it more fun.

Before we had a dishwasher it was always an ordeal to do dishes- we were so busy they would pile up! My husband always loved using this dish soap, it got the job done and smeled god. I loved it cause I hate cleaner smells and this just smells lemon-ish. We still keep a bottle at the sink for cleaning some dishes. he reminds me when it's getting low, even though i do most of the cleaning ;)

This is the first Meyers product that I've used. I was so happy with the results - I'm obsessed. The fresh smell and easy use makes cleaning fun. I highly recommend this product ... can't wait to try the other scents and cleaning products.

Love washing my dishes with this soap! I'm not a huge fan of lemon like many are but I used this just because I love Mrs Meyers products and this is all I could get. Well it changed my mind about lemon scent. I love washing my dishes with it and it works so well. Makes clean up a bit more enjoyable!

doing dishes is a walk in the park
i use this product to wash dishes, glasses, pots, and pans. i also use it to remove small stains from brushed cotton slipcovers and soak some of my delicate items with it. it cleans well, smells great, and is environmentally friendly. i can't think of anything that is not great about this product.

This was my first buy from Mrs. Meyer's and since then I'm a sucker for this line of products! The dish soap impressed me by being powerful and natural at the same time! It cut grease well and always left my sink and dishes smelling floral and heavenly (as well as spotless). It was easier on my hands than other dish soaps. I felt at ease knowing that the dishes I was eating off of had been cleaned with a natural product.

I use this product for dishes and counter tops cleaning. this product leaves very pleasant smell in the room. I can't figure why the name "geranium" since geranium does not smell, but at least it sounds nice. Love this product.

My wife cooks. I do the dishes. She brought the Lemon Verbena Dish Soap home one day, and I thought, "That's not my regular dish soap!" Now I love it! It's a wonderful cleaner and I really think the aromatherapy scent works wonders.

Got samples of all the scents when the "Mrs. Meyers Bus" was rolling through town at our local grocery store and fell in love with ALL the scents. you can literally never have too many of the scents (or ALL the scents!) they last a long time and i do LOTS of dishes (maybe 2 months a bottle) and are SUPER cheap. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Smells and Works TERRIFIC!
I absolutely LOVE the rose scent in this! I feel like I washing dishes with a rose garden! For an eco product I was very surprised that it worked so well!

Magic on plastic containers!!!
Love the counter top spray. Cleans off the grease & shines my granite beautifully! Love the dish liquid. Magic on plastic containers that had spaghetti sauce in them!! The cleaner does not leave a sticky resudue like other "green" cleaners and my hubby does not mind the scent. Worth the price for now, but hopefully prices will come down when popularity grows. Thank You!

I am allergic to most cleaners, but Mrs. Meyer's is the BEST! Even if I don't use gloves my hands don't feel rough after washing the dishes, and they smell nice! Mrs. Meyers is also a GREAT value for what you get. I am sold! (And so is this product!)

I currently use the entire Mrs. Meyers Geranium line in my home and my office. I constantly get compliments on its delightful smell and I don't have the guilt of harsh chemicals being all over my home.

In addition to this being a fabulous dish detergent, my husband uses this soap to wash our cars! It leaves them sparkling clean with no residue and he won't use anything else!! It's a wonderful product and I love the scent!!

I adore the lavender countertop cleaner and all purpose, so when I found the lemon verbena dish detergent at the supermarket, I was anxious to try it. It does a great job on the dishes, but you CANNOT rinse the scent or taste off. Holding a dish or cup under a hot-water spray until no suds are left and it feels "squeaky" should get the rinsing job done, but this scent (and its accompanying taste) is pervasive! I'm sitting here with a nice cup of lemon-verbena tasting-and-smelling soap coffee this afternoon, so I'm not too happy. I know I'll stick with you for the household cleaning products, but I'm a little disappointed with the dish detergent.

I switched to this product earlier this year. Initially bought 2 bottles...loved it. Just purchasede two more bottles and I'm very unhappy. It's thin and cloudy looking in my dispenser bottle. I called the # on the bottle to inquire, and was told: (paraphrased) 'There have been some changes in the formula over the last two years, but I can assure you the viscosity of our product does not change its' cleaning poroperties'. She declined to state why
the formula was changed. I told her consumers are
growing tired of being treated as though we are brainless. When I tip my dispenser to use the soap, twice as much product comes out which means
I will use more and have to purchase more often which increases the bottom line of the Meyer's Corporation. Consumers are angry about how we are treated. As for her assurance about the cleaning performance......it's the same... as long as I use twice as much as before. Thanks but no thanks.

Bough this product when suddenly ran out of my Amway dish soap. I wanted something natural and got this! What a horrible product! Every plate and every pot and pan smells like this product forever! I just dumped my whole dinner in trash because instead of mushrooms, onions and fried rice all I could taste was lemon and verbena dish soap. Yuck!!

Bough this product when suddenly ran out of my Amway dish soap. I wanted something natural and got this! What a horrible product! Every plate and every pot and pan smells like this product forever! I just dumped my whole dinner in trash because instead of mushrooms, onions and fried rice all I could taste was lemon and verbena dish soap. Yuck!!

I love using natural products as I have a couple of cats and a dog around--this is an amazing dishwashing liquid. You don't need to use very much of it, and it is very efficient at getting the grease off. I'm not sure what the other people are talking about...I haven't tasted this product on my dishes. You may either need to rinse more or get less porous dishes. I would highly recommend this.

Next I use Lavender in the bedroom on windows everyday in morning when I make bed. Then I swithch off and on for windows in livingroom. (I have clean windows!!!) The all purpose cleaner is fantastic. I use every product you sell and every scent for change!!! Love LOve your products!!

The first time I used this, I put it to the ultimate test- I used it to clean my slow cooker. I didn't need a lot and it didn't even require soaking. Slow cooker was squeaky clean and I didn't even have to scrub. I was using Dawn prior and this worked just as well and the smell is much better than any other dish soap.

This dish soap is excellent and I'm recommending it to everyone I know! Most importantly to me it is cruelty free, but it packs a major punch when it comes to cleaning too. It works much better than other natural products I've tried and smells great. I have never had any problem with the scent not rinsing off of my dishes as other commenters have posted. I just rinse with very hot water (like I would normally rinse dishes) and they turn out great! I just washed dishes with this today and even my hands do not smell like lemon verbena after rinsing. This dish soap is excellent and I'm recommending it to everyone I know! Most importantly to me it is cruelty free, but it packs a major punch when it comes to cleaning too. It works much better than other natural products I've tried and smells great. I have never had any problem with the scent not rinsing off of my dishes as other commenters have posted. I just rinse with very hot water (like I would normally rinse dishes) and they turn out great! I just washed dishes with this today and even my hands do not smell like lemon verbena after rinsing. Thank you Mrs. Meyers! I'll definitely be purchasing more of your products to use throughout my home!

I have never had to trash dinner, but I do smell this on my hands for hours and occasionally do taste it when drinking lighter drinks like water or iced tea. I am looking forward to using a different scent, the product works amazingly well, just a little soaking gets all kinds of stuck on stuff off, but the scent is just too overpowering.

This prodcut has a nice lather and is better than a lot of other natural dish soaps I've tried, but forget about cleaning a caserole dish ... it just doesn't work on grease. Regardless, I still keep it around. I keep a second non-natural dish soap around for grease, but I prefer to use this when cleaning anything that isn't greasy and it's actually pretty tough on things that have been caked on for a while. I've been using it for 3 years now, especially on my water glasses, and have never found the scent to stay on dishes.

This product contains artificial fragrances. I couldn't get the smell out of my kitchen area as well as the sponges and my hands. It is very deceptive because it is advertised as a natural product and I got samples at a health convention. I scrubbed my hands with baking soda and soaked them and they still reek of cheap perfume.

I use this product daily on my counter top (which are granite). After trying "all the rest" I have found this by far, the BEST EVER!!! It doesn't leave a filmy residue (even on my glass top stove) and it smell GREAT!! I have used the Lavender & Lemon Verbena as well, but this is my favorite so far (I've ordered a new stock of the fragrances I haven't tried yet). The only thing I had any trouble with was stainless steel; can't get it to not streak...maybe i'm not using it right...but other than that, I LOVE IT!!! :)

I change my dishcloth every second day & it didn't matter what you washed, soaked or boiled them in, they always smelled yucky in a while (sometimes as soon as you wet them).I had tried many different dish soaps but only this one ever worked. Its been almost 2yrs & still no smell - Hooray!! By the way I buy lots when I'm south of the border as I live in Canada.

My Favorite Go To Product
I absolutely love this product, and I think the scent is divine. It is a gentle, lovely scent which washes off of dishes easily. It is, by far, the best dish soap I've used. (Not sure why others have been having problems.) I also use it for cleaning the the sinks, tubs, and showers in my bathroom - it rinses clean and leaves a clean scent and a beautiful shine.
Since I've been using Mrs Meyers (8 years now), many of my friends have followed suit. My mother switched over, too!

I used to be a diehard fan of the infamous "Madge" product (starts with a P, ends with an e). However, any time I washed something that had eggs on it, I had to wash 3 and 4 times to get the smell out and sometimes it came back after drying.
I LOVE Mrs Meyer Lemon Verbena because it works the first time. No muss, no fuss, it smells great and I only have to wash once. Just wish I could find it at more retailers locally.

Had a soap dispenser installed in my old kitchen. Used this soap in that dispenser and appreciated the biodegradability with cleaning power, and the convenience of the pouring nozzle in refilling the dispenser.
Now living in an apartment with a small sink. I miss the dispenser! I wish this soap were also available in a small pump bottle. (I was going to use a Method bottle, but it's huge and shoots a enormous amount of soap across to kitchen.) Mrs. Meyers soap is concentrated, and you only need a little, so a small pump -- pointed down, rather than out -- would be perfect.

Lemon Verbena Dish Soap!! I absolutely love it, the scent as well as how it cleans my dishes, counters, stove top and many other things. Wish I would have taken a chance on this product a long time ago, I have had problems with other dish soaps that made my hands peel but this one doesn't (YAY!). Happily on my third bottle.

Lemon Verbena Dish Soap!! I absolutely love it, the scent as well as how it cleans my dishes, counters, stove top and many other things. We love Ms. Meyers Dish Soap
It's our new favorite dish soap. The small isn't too strong and doesn't leave a soapy taste on our pots, pans etc... We use it on a daily basis to clean the dirtiest pots. Highly recommended.

No allergies from product & good-bye dry hands!
Dish washers only do so much! Hand washing still exist for many of us with many things in our kitchen. There are still things we must hand wash in our sinks. I have had dry skin my entire life and this for me is the best dish soap. Products bother me and dry me out. This dish soap smell good, doesn't give me any skin allergies and will not dry my hands out. The aloe vera and olive oil is a nice touch in the product. A little bit goes a long way with this product. No need to keep adding dish soap.

Lemon Verbena, eh? Tasty!
Purchased this soap hoping to find a natural, environmental, effective product. It is none of those things. This soap does not rinse clean, taints all plastics it touches, and is overly perfumed. I've had to throw away several silicone utensils, plastic containers, and even whole meals because of the smell and taste(!) left on items by this soap. No amount of hot water rinsing, soaking or rewashing helped. One should not have to soak items in bleach or vinegar in hopes of removing the taint this product leaves. Imagine taking a swig of coffee and being greeted by the taste of old lady perfume. Scrambled eggs with a heavy taste of so-called lemon verbena? No thank you! Absolutely appalling. A natural product should in no way have such a heavy, lingering, chemical like scent (or taste!). I recommend this soap to no one and will never buy another Mrs. Meyer's product again. I hate to waste things, but this soap has gone in the trash, where it belongs. The reviews that state no lingering scent or taste are way off base.

I am somewhat obsessed with this scent...I pretty much use this whole line of cleaning supplies...it works well and I am confused as to what some people are talking about in regards to any lingering effects ( taste,or odor)...in a household of 5 no one has had that problem...and I am VERY fussy about any odor...especially in the morning if it were trying to ruin my coffee time.. LOL??

I love this product! I hand wash all of my dishes at home. I'm one of those that uses the dishwasher for storage :o/ I love the way it smells and how it cleans my dishes. My only comment that gives it less than a perfect score is that they don't make a refill. I'm somewhat of a tree hugger so I really wish there was a refill so we can use the same bottle over and over again. I cringe at having to throw away a perfectly good usable bottle. If Meyers could make refills for the dish soap like they do the hand soap, that would be awesome!

Yikes! thought it was natural. FRAGRANCE in the product causes headache and sickness. So disappointing.
It is irresponsible to promote the product as natural when it contain TOXIC fragrance. Waste of good money. Just buy any free & clear brand and be safe.

Excellent replacement for our previous soap!
We tried this because the dishsoap I've been using for years left a lingering strong smell of apples that always made us feel like they weren't being rinsed properly, even though they were. I was unsure about the strong scent with this, but it doesn't Linger on the dishes and the food doesn't taste like it either. I tried it today on a glass dish we baked chicken in. Soaked it with a little soap like I always do and the baked on sauce wiped right off! I do wish there were refill bottles, that's the only downside

I use it to hand wash my dishes and was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleaned and how little I had to use. The smell is wonderful. This is the first time I've used a Mrs. Meyer's product and am a believer.

I used less of this product to clean more dishes than my usual name brand dish detergentthat I've always loved and, it cuts the grease as well, if not better. Add the wonderful fragrances (lemon verbena is my fave) and it's a winner in my book. I just bought some for my sister to try. Can't wait to hear what she says.

Best ever, both scent and soap
I use Mrs Meyers Dish Soap exclusively. My dishes are clean and lovely Didn't think it could get any better till I tried the Geranium scent and had to write a review so they will keep making it.

I tried this product for the first time and I was amazed! I only used a few drops in washing dishes and found out it works properly. I love the smell too. The scent is always there every time I use it unlike other brands that it smells only on the first time you open and after that ,no more scent. My partner loves your products,too.
So, I bought again. Besides of this, I bought also your other products like laundry detergent and cleaning surfaces. I found out too that this is environmental friendly.

Favorite Home care fragrance
The Mrs Meyers dishwashing liquid in Geranium is my all time favorite. The scent is fresh and lightly fragrant. It also cleans and decreases as good as any other dishwashing liquid.
I tried it after purchasing the hand soap in the baby line. I loved it and decided to try others the geranium is the scent I use in everything: laundry detergent, dryer sheets surface cleaners.

I don't have large hands but it's easy to hold and squirt from. Such a great product. I just wish they would come out with a larger refill size. It's feels so environmentally unsound to throw out these sturdy bottles when they could just be refilled. Please consider that!

Makes Washing Dishes Fun Again
I just have to say that I'm totally in love with this brand! I've suffered with eczema and severe dry skin since I was a child and every dish soap I've used has always irritated my hands to the point where they dry out, crack and bleed. Doing the dishes became a nightmare for me literally. I decided to try out more natural and chemical free products even handmade soaps to take a bath that have no fomeldahyde in them and have essential oils. I searched and found mrsmyers and I bought the verbena scent to try out, I must admit the scent takes some getting used too but it does not irritate my hands and they actually cleared up nicely. I just ordered in the honeysuckle scent and I can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow! I'm a customer for life and will never go back to store bought dish soap again. I also plan on trying other mrsmeyers products as well. Thanks mrsmeyers for putting the fun back into washing dishes!
