I have used Febreze for years, and have tried just about all the scents. This is my new favorite! I love the Downy April Fresh scent. I used it and it smells just clean, like laundry. The scent is immediate, not too strong and lasts for DAYS. I would definately buy this in the Noticables too, if it were ever made!

They changed the scent! 1/5!
I love the original Downy scent, and was unhappy to switch to another when I could no longer find this product. Last night I finally found it again, and excitedly bought two bottles. But as soon as I started using the product, I knew something was off. The scent has been changed. I'll be emptying both bottles in my sink tonight, because I find this new scent so unpleasant. Consumers: test it in the store before you buy it! And Febreze: bring back the original Downy scent!

I LOVED the scent when it first came out -bought another bottle and noticed the scent changed. It is way too strong for the average house and find that I use less of it. I even bought a second bottle thinking what I had was a bad batch but was wrong. I will be pouring these out and finding a new product-very disapointed bc I loved the origional Downy scent

The Downy scented Febreze smells exactly like Downy. This is my favorite scent in the whole world. I just wish it was made in the room spray form as well. I would use at least a bottle a week.

I have to echo the sentiments of the other reviewers. I LOVE the original Downy April Fresh Febreeze and this change is definitely for the worse! It's very harsh and smells nothing like the original Downy.
I bought a new bottle just before hosting a baby shower at my home. I didn't realize it had changed until after I'd had my daughter spray the entire house. It was awful - the mommy to be complained of the smell and unfortunately it works so well that it lingers for hours. I was horribly embarrassed and there was nothing I could do. Please, PLEASE bring back the original Downy formula!

PLEASE bring back the original Downy scent!
I've never written a product review before, but scents in my home are very important to me, and I'm hoping this review will help make a difference in bringing back a great product. I had been using Febreze with original Downy scent ever since I first saw it in my grocery store. I love the Downy original scent. The last bottle I bought, though, DID NOT smell like Downy...at first I thought it was just my nose, and then it occurred to me that maybe the bottle was mislabeled since it smelled a bit like vanilla. After smelling more bottles at the store, I realized there was definitely a difference in the formulation. Is it because you're going for a stronger scent to last longer (the bottle promised to deliver the scent for 3 days)? A scent is no good to last longer if it isn't pleasant. PLEASE bring back the original formulation--it really smells like you have freshly laundered the room. Thank you for listening!!

I recently finished off an old bottle of Febreze Downy April Fresh Scent, which I could not get enough of! It smelled just like the Downy I use in my wash. I sprayed it on almost everything, almost every day. I even recommended it to all my family and friends as I thought it smelled so good. I have been using it ever since it appeared on the shelves and had purchased several bottles of the product and had never been disappointed. However, upon starting with a new bottle just the other day, I was immediately repulsed by the scent. I thought something was wrong with my nose until I found the other reviews on this site and realized I was not the only one who had noticed something different. Something has definitely changed in the formulation for this product. I even went back to the store to see if I had, by chance, gotten a bad batch, but all the new bottles in the store smelled equally repugnant. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL DOWNY APRIL FRESH SCENT!!! It was HEAVEN! Will not purchase another bottle of this new formula smelling the way it does. It is disgusting and not only does not eliminate odors but adds a horrible new odor to my home :(

I had been addicted to Windex for years and used it all around the house for every cleaning need. It worked, but over time, it seemed like it took the "shine" away and, of course, there is the smell. I accidentally knocked the bottle of Febreze over on my counter and some spilled out. I went to wipe it up and noticed a nice clean surface and a "shine". A few days later, I was going to the living room to Febreze the furniture before company came and I accidentally knocked the bottle over again, but this time, on my kitchen's hardwood floor. Way more spilled out this time too. I wiped it up and again noticed that my surface was both clean and shiny. No product, not even a wet swiffer, had made it look that good - AND it smelled clean! Now I use it on all of my surfaces (barring mirrors and windows). Everything looks and smells great!

I absolutely love Febreze fabric refresher. I use it in all the rooms in my house and in both my vehicles. I have a dog and it helps make the house not have that dog smell. I LOVE it!!!!!

I never could stand the artificial smell of any air freshner, until I tried Febreze,Spring
& Renewal. (or any Febreze) I have tried several, they are so natural smelling, and welcoming in any room expecially after cooking

Let the dogs on the couch but don't smell like it
We spray down our couch regularly with this and it doesn't smell like our two dogs who snooze on the couch all the time. Win!

febreeze fabric refresher
love the product and the way it freshens fabrics, however I stopped using it because the trigger spray will not pump the product out and totally stops working. i had to buy an empty spray bottle and pour the contents into it just to use it. After having to do this 3 or 4 times I just stopped buying it altogether. I contacted P&G 2 times and each time was told they would send a pre paid envelope to return the defective products. However that never happened.

Great to truly eliminate major odors
I purchase this product regularly. It has proven time and time again to be very effective in eliminating indoor odors of any kind. Additionally, it is gently enough to use it you have major allergies as I do.

This product really works!
We have two dogs in the house, and this winter when it was so cold, snowy and wet outside, they often came in damp. While I tried to dry them off, I found our home to begin to smell a little bit "doggy". It was bitter cold, so I couldn't air out the house by opening the windows. So I used Febreze Fabric Refresher: Pet Odor Eliminator on the carpets, furniture, and even sprayed some in the air in the rooms that had flooring. The house no longer smelled like dogs live here. This product really works! It's a staple at our house now and I use it regularly to keep our home smelling fresh and more "human" than "dog".

I bought this product to freshen up my bedding (sheets, blankets, etc.). I always like to use something like this between washings to keep my bedding fresh. The fragrance of this product is really refreshing. It has a light, clean scent that does not overpower when sprayed. I would recommend this product to everyone.

This product has amazing results
I'm the mother of two teen boys. With that being said I never imagined the stink teens have on a day to day basis. I use Febreze on absolutely everything. I use it in the boys rooms on their curtains, beds, clothes in the closets, and even their carpet. At night I Febreze their shoes. I love that Febreze locks away the odor and leaves a fresh scent that lasts. My boys even thank me for using Febreze to make their rooms fresh, thank you Febrze.

Great product for allergy sufferers!
We had water get in carpet, where I work. When it dried, it smelled so musty. I being a severe allergy sufferer, decided to give febreze allergen reducer a try. The best choice I made!! It took out the musty smell out and I had no allergy side effects from it! I loved it and will be purchasing it for my home. Thank you febreze for this great product.

this product really works on couches, chairs and curtains.
I use this product on the parents couch of my home daycare. Most parents notice the fresh smell and not the diaper can six feet away. Just wish this scent was available as plug in and air freshener spray.

In 2007 we were on a land and sea cruise. On the ship I stood in the hallway waiting to launder our clothes in the two washers on the ship! It was hot and humid. I was wasting precious time! I told my husband when I arrived back in our suite that when the ship docked I was going to shop for Febreeze fabric refresher. When we docked in Nova Scotia, I found a store and they had Febreeze! For the rest of the trip, I sprayed our outer clothing each night after wearing and they were ready to be worn again. I only had to wash our underwear and hang to dry over night. No more waiting in line for a washing machine.

The scent is very nice and its not too overpowering. I love using it on all the fabrics in my home. The only two upsets about the product is the scent does not stay long, and its spray top color looks almost exactly like Lavender Vanilla and Comfort, so be careful what you grab! Otherwise, this is my favorite scent of all the Fabric Refreshers.

If you like Febreze you'll LOVE the 2X heavy duty Febreze
I care for a loved one at home and unpleasant smells occur no matter how well they are cared for. The 2X Heavy Duty Febreze does a better job than ANYTHING we have tried. We feel it is simply the best.

All Febreeze Products in the Squeeze Handle Dispenser
I'm fine with what is in the dispenser, but why or why can't you make a dispenser that works? Is it a ploy to make the consumer buy more of your product? I have to wonder when the dispenser leaks or the squeeze handle doesn't work or I'm unable to dispense the last 1/4 of the product in the dispenser because the stem doesn't reach far enough. These are all problems I consistently experience with your product. I don't have this problem with Clorox Cleaner or Windex Cleaner. Why are you skimping on the dispenser? After all, the point is to be able to get what is in the dispenser out of the dispenser, right?

Four dogs and a cat can leave odor on everything they touch and don't touch!
Taking care of my two large dogs, my daughter's two large dogs and my son's cat can make for a very smelly house. I never want guests to be over run by pet smells when visiting my house. And even worse when we can smell those odors living there you know they have to be strong. I move from room to room using the Pet Odor Eliminator on couches, pillows, bedspreads you name it. Quickly those pet odors are eliminated leaving my house refreshed for the day. Can't live without it! Now if I could only keep the animals out of the trash!

I use this when my 3 small dogs have been in the rain and smell like dogs will do. It really clears the air. With 3 dogs that smell can be overpowering, and nothing else seems to do the job!

Febreeze linen and sky is a fresh crisp fragrance that can refresh tired-smelling fabrics. If you haven't had the chance to open your windows for a good airing you should reach for Febreeze and make your house smell like you did! Try it, you'll be glad you did.

I have two Great Pyrenees, which between the two they weigh well over 300 lbs! They love getting up on our sofas and so after a while the sofas start to smell! The Pet Oder Eliminator WORKS! The smell is gone, the room smells fresh as well as the sofas! I've tried other products and they all fall way short of Febreeze Pet Order Eliminator! I have it in my house at all times! I highly recommend it!

Febreze, no matter which fragrance or non-fragrance, is the best invention. Although nothing removes cat urine odor, this and all the Febreze varieties do a great job
eliminating most other types of odors. Example, my winter coat gets Febreze'd about once a week. It is dry-clean only and dry cleaning my coat several times a winter is an expense. (I do not like the home dry cleaning products.) Febreze gets rid of the cigarette smoke from the person standing next to me. Febreze gets rid of the onion smell after eating breakfast in my favorite diner. Febreze freshens up my furniture when it's too cold out to open up a window and let fresh air in. Frebreze ....well, you get the picture.

If my clothes come out of my front loading washer smelling stale or 'sour', I simply spritz them with FEBREZE, dry them, and viola!!!!! Perfection!
It saves me time and money not to have to re-wash the laundry load.

Using Febreze's Pet Odor Eliminator, anyone visiting our home can not tell we have a dog that "rules the roost". He has his own chair so he can look out the window. He sleeps on our beds at night. So, I spray everything with Febreze. Great product!

More like pet odor destroyer!
I have a very hyper dog who loves to roll in the dirt and grass and is stingy about baths, so he's a big stinky boy and makes our couches smell like dirt and grass too!! With this product I can spray a hearty amount over the room and couches and within minutes the couches and carpet smell clean again. The scent is very strong and smells almost of fresh cotton or detergent, it smells like clean clothes fresh out the dryer!! I spray this over the couches and carpets right before a Vacuum. I would recommend to anyone who has large dog(s)

Absolutely love this product!
We have one crazy American Staffordshire puppy and this completely removes any lingering odors. Even with a regular bathtime, "Tucker" still manages to get that doggy smell.
I use Fabric Refresher for Pet Odor Eliminator all around the house and it completely removes any notion that a dog lives here! Absolutely love this product!

wouldn't know i have 4 cats
With 4 cats and a husband I have all kinds of smells from grease and gasoline to the cats throwing up hairballs and spraying and this is the one product that doesn't just mask the smell for a short time. Even though I wash the area if I don't use this there is still a lingering bad smell in the air. This product is priceless!!

This really works to freshen couches and car interiors.
I use this on my couch especially in the summer to freshen the fabric. I also like it in the car. It helps if there has been a food spill.

The productive works very well. However, the scent is very strong. I am sensitive to artificial scents, so this is a negative for me. Overall, the product is good.

This has such a great spring fresh scent. It reminded me of laundry just fresh off the clothes line. It didn't mask smells but made the whole room smell great.

This product works wonders. I spray every where when we have guests coming over it takes a way the extra smells that cleaning left behind. Love this product. Highly recommended!!!

My daughter got car sick on a long trip. She threw up everywhere I cleaned up what I could until we made it to the hotel. We had some of this febreze which saved us until we made it.

Original Scent is still the best of all
The original scent Febreze (now only available in "Extra Strength") is still the best fragrance and the only Fabric Refresher I use. I buy the Refill size in order to be sure I always have it on hand, as I use it almost every day. Febreze works differently than other products and seems to permanently eliminate the odors that accumulate in fabrics and porous surfaces. I've been a dedicated fan since it was first introduced. Thank you for a great product that does what it claims to do!

Febreze extra strength odor eliminator saved my porch furniture!!! We had a stray cat "spray" it all winter and I really thought the cushions would have to be trashed as the smell was that bad. The cushions are foam and thick with a vinyl covering, very old and retro and not replaceable. Even after scrubbing them and hosing them off the smell was still terrible. I used the original scent febreze extra strength and it smelled so good-like clothes drying on a clothes line! A week later they still smell great!! Thank you for a wonderful product!!

My dog got skunked late 1 night & we had our whole house fan on, needless to say our house stunk to high heaven. After de-skunking the dog I went in the house w the only Febreze I had on hand and sprayed it EVERYWHERE Thankfully we have more hardwood flooring than carpeting turning the whole house fan on again I did spray the throw rugs and furniture for 11/2-2 days and being the skeptic I am didn't think we'd ever get the "skunk smell" out. Well let me tell you after day 2 we are skunk free thanks to febreze!!!! :)

My mom always used Tide detergent, and now I do for my family. The smell is nostalgic for me and the epitome of "clean smell". This new line of Febreeze in Original Tide Scent is everything I hoped it'd be. The exact smell of Tide combined with the effectiveness of Febreeze is an all around win. Please never stop making this! I'd love to see additional products in this scent, like an all purpose cleaner, etc. Well done Febreeze!

This was the BEST odor. Not sickening or sweet
Most of your febreeze smells gets so strong and annoying, especially in the aerosol cans, this I have been using ever since it came out. Well, I will have to find a new product, don't like any of your others

I like that when you spray it it doesn't smell like you've sprayed Febreze all over. We use it as a temporary fix when people are coming over to to freshen spots where our dogs sleep. The scent lasts quite a while and smells clean as opposed to overly fragranced.

OH MY GOD THIS SCENT IS AMAZING. IT TRULY DOES SMELL JUST LIKE GAIN. I'm telling you the scent LASTS. I wish I bought a ton of bottles when I had the chance.

My mom and I are both extremely sensitive to scents, so much so that we both carry inhalers and epipen. We absolutely loved when this product came out, but where did it go? Why can't we find it in stores????

My family has multiple people with chemical sensitivities. Having something that eliminates the odors without making my family sick is crucial. We go through multiple bottles of Febreze Free a month. The last few days I haven't been able to find it in any stores which sent us into a panic thinking it was being discontinued. PLEASE don't every stop making this wonderful product.

Smells great, doesn't last
This spray really does smell like Gain which I love because it's the only laundry detergent I use, however, it doesn't last very long. I got the spray because I have two shih tzus and not that they smell bad, but sometimes they lounge on the furniture and I just want to refresh. Initially, smells amazing but doesn't linger very long.

Works great and doesn't smell like perfume!
I've got rock-climbing shoes that are worn without socks. Naturally, countless hours of sweating in them make them reek. Perfumes bother my wife and me a lot but this Febreze doesn't have any. It just gets rid of the shoe stink. There's a faint smell of corn when you first spray it but it's not unpleasant and quickly goes away. In fact, it's a nice reminder that the product is made from corn rather than some noxious chemical.

I have two cats, pet odor air effects had a great scent. However, due to the nozzle breaking, I have a bottle filled with product but no way to use. If only there was a way, but no way to remove/replace nozzle so another waste of hard earned cash for something that could of been helpful.

not so great...would never buy, again.
The pre-Febreeze smell was better than post-treatment. I actually took it to the dry cleaner to get the smell out, rather than wear it.

Really works for those with Asthma/Allergies
As an asthma and allergy sufferer including pet allergies, this product helps me live a healthier more normal life. Can't stress enough how at night or during the winter months the air quality in the house is heavy and once I spray my linens and furniture with this product I feel immediate relief and am able to breathe better without using my fast acting inhaler. This product really works and I wish more retailers carried it in store. Please do not ever discontinue this product! Thank you.

I'd rather smell my partners sweaty workout clothes and smoky chair cushion that this awful smell. It gives me a headache. Febreze needs more scent options for heavy duty because the smell is absolutely overwhelming. It's thick, over perfumed and I feel like choking when I smell it.

I love that this is a neutralizer. Strong smells really bother me and gives me headaches. However, this product leaves my house smelling crisp and fresh without the added odors!

We have allergies and are sensitive to fragrances. This product is great for us. We live on a farm, and it works great to keep the house and vehicles smelling clean. Since they don't make an unscented bathroom spray, we keep a bottle by the bathroom door and when we leave, we lightly mist the air. It's a decent solution. I just wish they made and unscented bathroom spray!

This product smells not because its supposed to. On two different occasions my wife has used it with disastrous results. In both cases she used it (per instructions) resulting in two of her shirts being stained indelibly by the product. I can’t seriously believe we’re the only case of this happening. Needless to say we won’t make the mistake again. Buyer beware.

Pump mechanism is terrible!
I love this product. It’s perfect for reducing the pet smells HOWEVER the pump mechanism is terrible! I purchased 2 bottles whilst doing my grocery shopping a while ago but had to decanter them into an alternative spray bottle as neither worked! A faulty batch I thought so when stocking up again on this product yesterday I am frustrated to find I have the same problem with this one too! I shouldn’t have to keep decanting it into an alternative bottle. So annoying!

There’s so many different varieties of Febreze, I try to Purchase a different sent each time fabric freshener is on my shopping list... Tide original is a perfect choice if your being indecisive about the next one to try... And its Febreze, you know it’s generally going to do what it does, regardless of its many variations. Lol

I have been using this product for a while now and it’s amazing! It has such a light scent that helps make any room smell fresh. It dries quickly on fabric. The bottle is easy to spray and the mist comes out evenly and fine. I can’t get over how well it works on my dogs pet bed to help eliminate the wet dog scent in between washes! Excellent product.
