General Purpose Plastic Laser Pointer, Class 3A, Projects 1148 ft, Black

I have started using this when i give presentations and this allows me to control the room much easier and makes presenting and showing distinct areas much easier.  It works from distances up to 50ft that i have tried it too.

It works for pointing out things on a screen. The beam is a little broad for a laser.

This item would have been disappointing even if purchased and the dollar store with its peeling paint and a laser light that worked for about 3 seconds. It was so poorly crafted I have difficulty understanding why anyone would pay shipping to send it out.

I was a little skeptical when I first started using this Laser Pointer, as it is much longer than the typical laser pointer. After using it more frequently, I have gotten used to how it fits in my hand and can't imagine going back to another smaller laser pointer. The grip is smooth and comfortable and the button for the laser is in the perfect spot for easy use. If you are looking for a good quality laser pointer that is sleek in design but easy enough for presentation use, look no further!

As far as laser pointers go, this one is top notch.  It's very easy to use and the light is bright.  I am an Instructor and I've used a lot of laser points over the years, this is one of my favorites so far.  I can be half way to the back of the room and it still shines brightly on the screen.  It looks a lot like a pen and has been misplaced at the bottom of my bag with my many pens, I'm going to try to find a case for it.  Overall, I really like this and intend to use it all semester.

A good laser pointer is such an asset while teaching in a classroom.  It makes it easy to show students a specific item or location on a map, poster or powerpoint, with out standing right close to the screen and without blocking the view of other students.  This Quartet Comfort Grip Laser Pointer has an anti-slip design that makes it easy to hold for the entire class period.  The button is easy to depress and hold down.  The size makes it easy to carry in my back pack that I carry all my school/ teaching supplies in, and it handles being at the bottom of the backpack with out any problem.

It has a good feel -- it has heft to it and fits well in my hand. the on button is convenient. It's easy to point and aim. The laser point shows up well on the whiteboard or the video screen. I like it and it works well for me.

As an instructor, I've always made do without laser pointers but having this on hand, I can't go back to not using a laser pointer during lecture. The light is vivid and distinct even from the back of a large lecture room. It saves me from a trip all the way to the board. I like the design and the ease of use. Very simple and straightforward! And I like that I can hook it to my pocket.

It seemed to have a good range. It wasn't spectacular, but it works for pointing out things on a screen and other routine tasks.

This product works well for instruction in the classroom. Strong laser quality and long lasting battery life !!

I teach a college course and this thing has a beautiful visible laser point that anyone can see clear across the room.  It's lightweight and easy to hold.  Although nitpicky, I wish it had a button that would just keep it on instead of always having to hold it down to have it come on.  Sometimes I'm pointing to things for a long time and wish I didn't have to hurt my thumb holding it down so long.  But the pointer works great.

I use this at work for training and it works great for presentations. I like the size which is comfortable for holding for long periods.

I was a little worried about how this laser pointer would work given the pen-like shape but I have found it to be even easier to use than the smaller laser pointers I own. The design fits nicely in your hand and allows for more precise use when pointing to objects. The grip is comfortable and does not irritate the hand at all. The only thing I wish this laser pointer had was a way to sync to a computer to be used as a clicker and pointer. Other than that, I think this laser pointer is great and would recommend it to anyone who gives presentations!

This laser pointerworks great for presentations, and for a cat toy too. I use it professionally, but my kids play with it and the cat!

I would say this pen is a pretty average pen. It gets the job done and is about what you would expect in a laser pointer.

It has a good hand feel. It's easy to hold. It's not flimsy. The on button is easy and it's easy to point and aim. I am a teacher and used it to point on the screen and the white board and it works well

I no longer have to stand at the board to illustrate .  I love the laser pointer because I can be in the back of the classroom illustrating a point on PowerPoint.  My students are enjoying it as well.  Since, I have had the laser pointer the students enjoy utilizing the pointer to get there point across.

What can you really say about a laser pointer....it has good distance, it reacts quickly, has a clip to put on a pocket. Its red and has a strong sense of power on the what it is being projected on. The cats love it as a toy too and has given me many hours of amusement with them running around the house. I highly recommend it for exhausting cats.

The Quartet Comfort Grip Laser Pointer is easy to grip and has a nice bright laser light.  The cylinder is a bit thicker than a pen (about 1/2") so holding it's easier to hold steady and doesn't shake as you're pointing at something. The encasement is a rough texture, so if your hands are perspiring, it won't slip.  Fits into a pocket nicely.  The pointer came with 2 AAA batteries. Be prepared with scissors to open the packaging, it does not tear open.

I really like the style of this laser pointer.  It's very professional looking -- not a cheesy red dot toy.  The real test was the distance.  It was amazing how far the laser pointer would shine with clarity.  I kid you not, it was well over 100 feet.  I highly recommend this laser pointer!  It is worth every penny!

I really loved it

As a college lecturer, I often want to direct my students' attention to a specific word, topic or area in a powerpoint lecture notes, so this laser pointer is an easy way to accomplish this.  The small size makes it easy to carry in my bag, and the clip allows me to keep track of it, as I clip it with pens and high lighters.  The grip makes it easy to use and hold in my hand.  Batteries were included, so nice.

I love this laser pointer. I teach five classes at the college level, and I use this every day.

I enjoy this model for a few reasons. One is that it takes two AAA battery, so I can just use rechargeable batteries rather than buy specific watch batteries just for one device.

Secondly, it is extremely useful for presentations. There is only one push button, on the laser pointer itself, so you don't get confused with color, brightness, etc., so it is very user friendly. The weight of the laser pointer is also very nice. It is heavy enough for me to hold and keep steady, but not too heavy that it strains my hand holding it up pointing at the screen.

One thing that would be nice would be to have an option to keep the laser on without having to hold the button down. I think it would be useful to push it once and have it stay on for a few minutes.

Overall, I like this laser pointer and will keep using it to highlight various parts of my lecture.

This laser pointer is lightweight and compact but not so small as to get lost. It is simple - it doesn't allow you to control your slides - but I like that it isn't complicated. There is one button and it doesn't require too much pressure to activate. The laser is bright, even in a well-lit room, and the dot is big enough. I do wish you could push the button and the laser would stay on if you wanted. As it is you have to hold down the button for the laser to stay on. But that is a minor quibble and shouldn't be a problem because you're not usually using it for very long at a time. Overall, a great simple option for a laser pointer. AND it includes the batteries!

I'm a lecturer and this was great to use. I can be at the back of the room and not have to walk all the way to the front to point at text on the projector. The red dot was distinct and the pen was easy to use. This is definitely high quality and I like that I can hook it to my pockets when I move around. It is definitely a game changer for me because I don't normally use a laser pointer in class.

I would say this is a pretty average pointer. It gets the job done.

I bought this for a presentation, for which it worked as expected. My kids later used it as a cat toy. THe kids and cat liked it too.

This is a great laser pointer.  I am a teacher so I use a laser pointer every day, and I've used a lot over the years.  This is one of the better ones I've used.  It's very bright and still shines on the screen even from near the back of the room.  It is shaped just like a pen so I have lost it in the bottom of my bag with my hundreds of pens.  I'm very pleased with the look and function of this laser pointer.

this laser pointer is great quality and is much better than others that I have used in the past. the battery is long lasting and the laser is not too bright. would definitely use over and over again.

Does what it's supposed to do, no bells and whistles.  Would recommend for short presentations or brief usage.  Not really designed for long perios of use, button small and could hurt hand if having to use for long periods of time.
