Long-time great, the Smead Hanging File Folder has been a favorite for good reason! It is sturdy and stands up to daily use. I highly recommend this file with the Smead Viewables. They make a great combination.

1/5 Cut Adjustable Tab Letter Size Hanging Folders
I have used these particular folders for years and they last for years. You have an adjustable tab that you can set wherever you like on the folder, front or back. These folders are perfect!

This is an excellent labeling system. I have been using smead viewables for the last 13 years. The files are easy to find. Smead's software is easy to use. You can view the labels from any direction.

Exceptional Hanging File Folder
I use these every day in my home office, and am considering purchasing a larger file cabinet, so will be needing more. I wouldn't purchase any other brand. They last and last and do not fall apart.

It is really organizing my life.
All the doc were here and there messy in my studio until I purchased this file at amazon.com. It had a very reasonable price and I bought just one box and it did declutter my life once and for all. I can give a strong recommendation for this.

The smead hangil folders with tab are a must when it comes to organizing an office. They are durable and efficient. Everyone loves the idea of having the new filing system in the office. You can use the tabs by naming the file or by using an alphabetical system. Everything is at your reach when it comes to using these filing folders and tabs can be adjusted so you never miss the files names.

I WILL ONLY ORDER SMEAD HANGING FILE FOLDERS. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND LAST FOR YEARS. I TRIED OTHER BRANDS IN THE PAST TO TRY TO SAME THE COMPANY SOME MONEY, BUT THE OTHER BRANDS FELL APART & I HAD TO GO BACK WITH THE SMEAD BRAND.

Hanging File Folders' Goodness
Using hanging file folders makes any documentation/paperwork easy to store in its designated space--until you decide to extract it to write the information in document/paper to computer or discard and reuse hanging folder space for another subject.

I think they are great and help me organize in a mobile file cabinet that I use in my truck to keep track of each houses building permit information with the county as well as the options that go into the house. I use the legal tab file folders for each lot then put them into a hanging folder for easy access.

GREATEST PRODUCT EVER INVENTED
My family own a very busy company that is located in Huntington West Virginia. We deal in truck parts & accessories. I am always writing invoices or printing our forms to order new products. I use this product to keep track of all the bills receipts taxes and all that comes along with owing a business. I would be lost with out this product. I tried using regular file folders but they don't hold upright they always fall back. I love using your products and will continue to use them as long as you make them. Its nice that your products can be used at home also.

We use these at work to separate all the paperwork per employee. We have over 50 employees and these make it easy to keep track of their clients. They fit nicely in the cabinets and last forever - meaning that they do not tear or rip easily. The quality of these folders is great.

I love smead exterior files for all of my home and office filing needs! I trust this brand and always purchase smead without question knowing the quality and price is not equaled by any other brand. Not only do I have to create the files which can be time consuming I also have to do the actual filing and knowing these are sturdy enough to become jam-packed and yet still hold up over the course of a year I couldn't ask for more! Much better than the last!
These hanging files hold more information and have not failed us yet! We bought cheap generic hanging folders saving almost nothing. The folders began to fail if you filled them with more than one folder of papers. But when they failed, they would sort of melt apart leaving a sticky mess on any paperwork in the hanging folder.

Awesomizing File Cabinets One File At A Time
These hanging folders are easy and awesome to work with! They don't take up much room and keep my files organized. They are durable and don't slip off the hangers like other file cabinets. Great value and a must have if you deal with tons of filing!

The only challenge I with the folders are the durability of the material used surrounding the metal hooks. I can only use a certain amount of files before the folder rips off the metal hooks.

When clutter is your creed, file indeed!!!
My works space was an absolute catastrophe. Some days I'd waste hours simply trying to locate a file. Tired of wasting time I grabbed a box of the hanging folders out of the closet and began organizing. These folders fit snugly in my new desk unit, eliminating the need for additional hardware.... To my surprise these file folders fit my desk cabinets better than my favorite pair of jeans on a good day!!!

I use the Smead 1/5-cut tab hanging folders on a regular basis to file the hundreds of invoices we process monthly. I usually end up over-stuffing them but they are strong enough they usually handle it just fine!

I work at a consulting firm in Downtown Sacramento, and one of my projects is to do an entire overhaul of the company's master files. With hundreds of schools on file, it can be difficult to keep track of everything. However, in incorporating the Smead Hanging File Folders in the overhaul, my coworkers and myself agree that the master file has never looked more organized. Not only are the folders cost-effective, but they are quite professional. They can fold-in from half an inch to up to three inches, and the shade of green is both practical and stylish. Over the past 40 years, I have been honored to hold a number of public offices, appointed and elected, at all four levels of American government: Local, state, national, and international. Most of my "papers" are in federal depositories, but there is a large number housed in a nearby university. I am the sole tender and organizer of these papers. Nothing is easier or pleasanter than to use your multicolored hanging files to bring order to this mass. I benefit from your product now, and so might a graduate student in some distant day as she paws through my files looking for a document. On behalf of both of us, thank you!

it is very useful for people like me that always are in a hurry looking between files. Do not bend with facility, do not crack and stay wher I put it. Thats really a hanging and staying folder. Always nice, always straight.

These are a standard in our office. They make organization a breeze, and I'm not sure what we'd do if we couldn't find them anymore! My only complaint would be the degradation of the adhesive over time, but I'm not sure if that's something that can be helped.

Organization is a gift you give yourself. It allows you to access everything you own. Files have a special place in that process. We use hundreds of these folders throughout the year, we archive them in boxes for long periods of time and they are very durable, easy to file, easy to label and incredibly useful to stay organized. These are the only hanging folders our company will use.

Smead File Folders: a review
The 25 folders lend themselves well to organizing scientific papers alphabetically. I used these in graduate school for this vary purpose. I know I can rely on them to last until my graduation due to their durability and construction.

I use the product to file information on multiple locations. The files make it easy to find the addresses that I need. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are curved when they come out of the box and this causes problems at first.

The folders come in a box that causes them to be "curled". When they go in the file cabinet, the tabs are difficult to read. Folders must be bent in order to hang correctly. Also, just an FYI, the item number on the box shows 64005 which didn't pull up in the search. Website shows item to be 64055.

Terrible packaging - leaves the folders badly curved
If it wasn't for the way Smead packaged these hanging folders, this would be a 4-5 star product. Standard packaging from other manufacturers ship their hanging folders flat - as would be common sense. However, Smead is using narrower and taller packaging - resulting in annoyingly stiffly-curved hanging folders that never relax to hang straight.

The folder that gets the job done
These hanging folders are used to file numerous and large amounts of information. They are extremely durable as we have stuffed them beyond maximum capacity and still continue to withstand the pressure applied to them. They get the job done, above and beyond our expectations.

Perfect for Weekly tasks.
I am a law student with tons of paperwork that was always cluttering up my desk area. I got this to file my weekly documents like readings, assignments, work things, etc. and to keep certain papers within reach at all times. It works perfectly. I switched out the mint hanging folders for olive green ones that matched my decor better, and they fit fine. I have had a back folder slip off the end if I wasn't careful, but for light organization this works great and looks so much better than my old pile.

Do your file cabinets need an upgrade? Look no further
These folders assist with filing documents, storing confidential information, and providing organization comfort to all employees. The folders are able to store both large amounts of paperwork and few documents. The folders are specifically utilized to organize information in my office and assist with retrieving information easily. They assist both those who are and those who are not organized for they easily slide and can expand to avoid straining your personal abilities.
