We purchased a 6 pack of this tape for our current move. It's thin, splits and doesn't always stick. Wish we had tried a different brand product.

I read the bad reviews and had to add my 2 cents. I have used this tape for years and had the company I work for buy it exclusively for shipping. It's a middle thickness tape - 3M being the thick type that sticks well but is too stiff to hold corners and folds well and the cheap thin type that rips and wrinkles easily like the post office uses. This is the best compromise that dispenses well, is easy to run a straight seem without wrinkles, adheres well, and is strong. I occasionally get some "chips" from it when cut with the saw-tooth blades on most dispensers, but the only way to minimize that is to go too thick. For our application, it's been the best we've found for sealing boxes for shipping.

This stuff is the real deal.  No inckling that this tape wasn't sticky enough or flimsy.  This tape is hard and sturdy, something I've never seen before from other tapes that you can fold easily or come off cardboard.

Not sure what more I can say, but this tape works great to keep the boxes closed for the stuff that I've sold on eBay. It's sticky, comes on a roll, and even has a blade in the dispenser to cut the tape.

I've been using HD packing tape for years. Mainly to protect instructions on medicine bottles (that my pharmacy discontinued doing) and naturally storage. It's that time of the year to pack away the Winter clothes and get out the shorts. Yep, I have to do my own, lol. This is the first time using the Duck Brand HD Clear Heavy Duty Packing Tape. Normally it's the cheap stuff from the discount stores. I was really impressed that I didn't have to keep pressing on the tape for the adhesive to stick to the boxes. It came with a refillable dispenser which is great. Setting up the tape to have access to the cutter bar was easy to do, no instructions needed. It's a pretty sharp cutter so keep it away from the kids. I normally have problems when the tape rips before it reaches the cutter. It's hard to find the beginning of it and get it started again. The Duck brand doesn't stick to itself, easy to operate and I'm really pleased that I was able to review this product free from the manufacturer. Great tape and it will be my go to from now on.

Sturdy tape, I like that it is super clear so if you tape over an address label it is still clearly visible. Blade to cut the tape is sharp but somehow luckily never cuts me in the process of cutting the tape.  Edge is a little hard to find like with all tapes but that is just proof of how clear this tape really is! Super adhesive,havent had any problems with the tape peeling off

I pack a lot of packages for mailing throughout the United States and into Canada. Having a good packing tape is vital to this as you do not want a label to come off or for the package to open during transit. This tape is high quality, thick and very clear. To conserve the tape I usually split the piece in half and this tape performs admirably for that. This is my new favorite tape to use for packing packages.

I recently got this tape and am really impressed. I usually buy a different well#known brand but after trying this one I might have to switch. I am an amateur seller so I prepare a lot of packages and sometimes I have to apply two layers of tape to really secure the box but with this tape it was one and done! The boxes seemed very sturdy and there wasn’t any separation at all.

This tape is definitely much thicker and stronger than the other tapes I have tried. It sticks well and holds the flaps on the container in place. I also used it on the shipping labels and the bar codes were easily scannable and the visibility through the tape was almost 100%. The dispenser is alright.

This clear tape works very well. I like that its adherence capacity is fairly strong and that the tape itself is also resistant.

This tape is strong and sturdy. It holds boxes shut as it is supposed to. The only frustratingId thing is when you can't find where the end of the tape is on the roll. Otherwise, it's a great product.

This clear packing tape does its job!  The dispenser cuts easily and doesn’t keep falling back onto the roll like other tapes I’ve used in the past which is so annoying.  The tape is a little thicker and I feel like it works better than the thinner tape, especially if you’re using it to mail a package and want to make sure it doesn’t open in transit.  I can mail something now and be confident that it won’t pop open before it reaches its destination... and I’m sure the same can be said if I were moving, I will definitely use this tape if we ever do move.   Recommend and will buy again!

Great adhesiveness. It's very easy to locate the end of the tape when it happens to roll back onto the roll.  Overall works exactly like it should!

I recently got this clear heavy duty packing tape from Duck-Duck. I own a business and I ship items on a daily basis. Most of them are heavy metals. The regular tapes I use so far, were not able to hold the package. So, I used to tape the box multiple times. But this heavy duty tape from Duck - Duck is really strong. I do not have to tape my packages those many times. So, I am saving both money and time with this heavy duty tape. I do not have any complaints. Loving it so far. And yes, I already recommended this tape to my friends and other businesses.

Complete junk. pulls off in pieces and will frustrate the heck out of you.

Packing tape is a product that is not all the same. I think everyone has a nightmare story about tape that breaks or sticks to itself or worst of all, you can't find the end. This Duck Brand Heavy Duty Tape puts all those fears to rest and is now my go-to tape, for sure. It is thick, but still tears easily from the dispenser and you won't lose the end. It is clear so you can protect a mailing label and it is strong to make all your packages secure. I love it!

This brand makes the best tape! Easy to use the dispenser, the cutter is nice and sharp so the tape cuts evenly, and the tape itself is nice and thick. I do a bunch of shipping so I use this tape often and I love it.

This Duck Brand HD Clear Heavy Duty Packing Tape is great. It is very strong but easy to use, meaning it tears easy. My wife and I do a lot of selling and shipping of different sized items so we are always going through tape and usually buy the cheapest we can find. However, that may have just changed with this Duck Brand packing tape. It's strong and goes on smooth and holds up well. I haven't had a single complaint about items busting open during the long shipping process.

I didn't realize that clear takes come at different thickness levels for difference use cases, but that is definitely the case. We were covering our door with the standard scotch tape so that my dog wouldn't scratch the word and that didn't work because that tape was ripping. Ever since I switch to this type, o haven't had to worry about it. It's much ticket and now durable so works great.

This tape worked great to hold things together. It’s very strong and steady. It doesn’t leave a residue behind like a lot of tapes I’ve used in the pass. And for the price you get a lot of tape for the price.

As far as packing tape goes, this tape meets all expectations.    Gets the job done and creates no problems .  I would recommend this tape to a friend without hesitation

I really like this tape. I used it to pack up some boxes for storage. It’s really strong tape and it helped make the bottoms of my boxes more sturdy. An added feature that I like, is that it comes with a cutter on the end. So I don’t have to buy a tape gun because it’s already kind of one.

We needed a strong and sticky duct tape for a variety of uses. This tape did not disappoint.

The HD Duck Brand tape is even better than the original.  Didn't know you could get any better, but after storing boxes with the original and storing with HD, the HD holds for longer.  Great product.

Duck tape has always been one of my favorite brand. Every product of theirs that I have tried over the years work very well. The clear packing tape work just as well as their other products . The tape hold very well so you don't have to use a whole lot.

This tape is super strong and super clear. It not only gets the job done with boxes for moving, it also is good for other miscellaneous odd jobs around the house. I've fixed quite a few broken items. Toys to be exact. Lol I'm always telling my daughter to go get the tape.lol

Great for packing. I mean, we're talking clear tape, so nothing is going to be mind-blowing here, but it does the trick.

Got this to ship out a couple boxes.  Tape is nice, strong quality and sticky.  Holds up nicely and easy to put on and tear.
