Heavy-Duty Carton Packaging Tape, 3" Core, 3" x 54.6 yds, Clear, 6/Pack

I read the bad reviews and had to add my 2 cents. I have used this tape for years and had the company I work for buy it exclusively for shipping. It's a middle thickness tape - 3M being the thick type that sticks well but is too stiff to hold corners and folds well and the cheap thin type that rips and wrinkles easily like the post office uses. This is the best compromise that dispenses well, is easy to run a straight seem without wrinkles, adheres well, and is strong. I occasionally get some "chips" from it when cut with the saw-tooth blades on most dispensers, but the only way to minimize that is to go too thick. For our application, it's been the best we've found for sealing boxes for shipping.

I really like this tape gun. I have rather severe arthritis and peripheral neuropathy, a combination that makes it hard for me to do things with my hands that require both strength and agility. I have tried all the smaller dispensers and a couple of different styles. This particular one works best for me. I also find it easier to handle the standard tape (not extra strong) that comes with it, which is sufficient for all the packaging that I do.\
I recommend this tape gun for home and work use. The materials are strong and it makes taping items much more efficient.

I used this packing tape to tape up all my boxes that i ship to hawaii and it is one of the strongest heavy duty tapes i have ever used. I also love the fact that the tape is clear because i use it to tape over my label so the label is secure during the shipping process.

My business requires me to pack and ship a great deal of products and this tape is a lifesaver. The blade on the roll ensures it tears away from the roll with ease - limiting my stress a great deal and saving valuable time with every box I prepare. You might think tape is tape, but trust me, this is the best I’ve used ... and I’ve used them all.

This is the best tape it s very pliable and durable I used this to pack some of my boxes with my items to donate and I used this tape to tape the boxes this tape stuck to the boxes just right and was so easy to use to tear the tape from the dispenser really really like this tape and all that it does.

I just moved in to a new place and this tape really helped me. I had a bunch of boxed that needed to be taped shut and this tape did the job

This stuff is awesome.  I love the ease of use and the massive hold that it gives.  I wrapped it around a 20lb arm weight and it lifted the weight without breaking or giving me the thought that it might break.  There is plenty of tape to go around and you will have no problems or fear of running out if you have 100 boxes to tape up.  10/10 would suggest

I’m not sure there is anything else that I can say that others don’t know. This tape is super super strong and absolutely is the best I have ever used, if your wondering weather to buy this or not, go ahead and purchase it you won’t be disappointed.

Sturdy tape, I like that it is super clear so if you tape over an address label it is still clearly visible. Blade to cut the tape is sharp but somehow luckily never cuts me in the process of cutting the tape.  Edge is a little hard to find like with all tapes but that is just proof of how clear this tape really is! Super adhesive,havent had any problems with the tape peeling off

I do a lot of online selling and Duck brand is the go-to tape for my packaging needs. In my experience, it provides a strong and secure hold. Never had a single problem. Tape is crystal clear, perfect for covering shipping labels, etc.

The Duck heavy duty clear packaging tape works great. I just sent a care package to my son, who is working out of state. The tape held up through the shipping process and his cap and other goodies arrived with out any damage.  I have also used this tape for boxing up stuff to put in storage. It works great and is my go to packaging tape.

We were organizing our back porch and storing things in boxes. This tape was perfect for taping the boxes. It’s actually pretty thick. I think I like this smaller sized tape for packing vs the original size. It seems easier to grip and it seems to waste less tape. It adheres nicely too. Very heavy duty!

I pack a lot of packages for mailing throughout the United States and into Canada. Having a good packing tape is vital to this as you do not want a label to come off or for the package to open during transit. This tape is high quality, thick and very clear. To conserve the tape I usually split the piece in half and this tape performs admirably for that. This is my new favorite tape to use for packing packages.

I recently got this tape and am really impressed. I usually buy a different well#known brand but after trying this one I might have to switch. I am an amateur seller so I prepare a lot of packages and sometimes I have to apply two layers of tape to really secure the box but with this tape it was one and done! The boxes seemed very sturdy and there wasn’t any separation at all.

This tape is definitely much thicker and stronger than the other tapes I have tried. It sticks well and holds the flaps on the container in place. I also used it on the shipping labels and the bar codes were easily scannable and the visibility through the tape was almost 100%. The dispenser is alright.

This clear tape works very well. I like that its adherence capacity is fairly strong and that the tape itself is also resistant.

This tape works pretty good.  It is heavier duty than some cheap tape.

I got this recently since I had the need to pack up some items and also needed to reorganize items in our garage from when we moved.  From experience I have had in the past I know you can’t go wrong with anything Duck brand.  I was able to seal the bottoms and then securely close the tops so I was able to be comfortable that nothing will get to these it’s while they are stored in our garage.  I love Duck stuff.

Had a move coming up and needed some quality tape . So happy I went with this . The dispenser works so good and makes getting the right size very easy . It’s strong and has a smooth feel . Great for securing boxes and anything else . I was able to take some to work for a few projects as well . Great value and reliable .

This tape is strong and sturdy. It holds boxes shut as it is supposed to. The only frustratingId thing is when you can't find where the end of the tape is on the roll. Otherwise, it's a great product.

This clear packing tape does its job!  The dispenser cuts easily and doesn’t keep falling back onto the roll like other tapes I’ve used in the past which is so annoying.  The tape is a little thicker and I feel like it works better than the thinner tape, especially if you’re using it to mail a package and want to make sure it doesn’t open in transit.  I can mail something now and be confident that it won’t pop open before it reaches its destination... and I’m sure the same can be said if I were moving, I will definitely use this tape if we ever do move.   Recommend and will buy again!

Good quality packing tape, not as thick as some of the heavy duty ones I have used previously.  It came with the plastic cutter mechanism on the small roll I had used, which was convenient, but kept losing the tape on the cutter.

This tape is very easy and durable to apply for use as packing tape.  It is thick enough to easily seal the package.  Tape does not rip or tear easily.  Good adhesive.

This is the best tape I have ever used! Adhesive is very strong and sturdy. This tape can be used for heavy duty tape jobs.

This tape works very well for all of my boxes while moving or when I am shipping items.  It clearly has a strong hold and is easy to apply.

Great adhesiveness. It's very easy to locate the end of the tape when it happens to roll back onto the roll.  Overall works exactly like it should!

This is a great tape and is made up of premium quality materials. It is extremely strong and holds up the packages really well.since it is very strong, I tend to use less quantity tape to wrap things. With ordinary tape I used to wrap once and then again wrap around the package just to make sure that it reaches the recipient without breakage.  I am completely stress free while wrapping packages with these tapes. I will highly recommend this product

It's a good, strong tape. Works really well. It does everything you need it to do. I bought the HD clear packing tape. It has a good quality dispenser with sharp teeth so that none of it gets wasted when tearing it off of the roll.

This tape is perfect for boxing up items to put in storage. It is clear and sticks very well to the surface. I have had issues in the past with closing the box then the tape does not stick although this is the complete opposite. Also the razor at the end is sharp enough to cut the tape without any troubles!

Like other duct tape products this one is great! Goes on clear and stays strong. Easy to apply and doesn’t get stuck back on the roll after use thanks to the little plastic tabs that stick out. I’ve tried store brand tapes and they have always let me down, so far this one hasn’t.

This tape is super sticky. I had to mail a few things to family and was worried the contents might come out of the packaging if I wasn't careful. It was easy to unroll and get started, super easy to cut with the serrated edge on the roll. I was very happy using this product.

I didn't realize that clear takes come at different thickness levels for difference use cases, but that is definitely the case. We were covering our door with the standard scotch tape so that my dog wouldn't scratch the word and that didn't work because that tape was ripping. Ever since I switch to this type, o haven't had to worry about it. It's much ticket and now durable so works great.

This duck brand heavy duty packing tape lives up to its name. The dispenser makes it easy to use and cut. The tape is strong, and clear. It sticks well and holds up great on the bottom of my heavy boxes. It appears to be weatherproof, as it didn't seem affected by the rain as we were moving boxes to the garage. All around a good product.

This tape is by far better than the cheaper brands that you find at the hardware and big box stores. I am constantly having to reset the cheaper tapes in my tape gun as they are not well made. This brand on the other hand seems to be thicker and a much better tape, thus not slowing me down when taping multiple boxes.

Great for packing. I mean, we're talking clear tape, so nothing is going to be mind-blowing here, but it does the trick.
