The Duracell Ion Speed 1000 NiMH Battery Charger will recharge your batteries in 4-8 hours (to approx. 90% of full charge when using 1300mAh up to 2500mAh 2xAA NiMH Batteries, included) with 1000 mW of charging power. It recharges any AA and AAA NiMH batteries from any brand. You can recharge 2 or 4 batteries at a time and, with the LED Charge Status Indicator, youll know when charging is complete. It also features an Auto Shutoff so you wont use any unnecessary electricity. Doesn't recharge
Put 3 batteries in to recharge after 10 min the green light was on. Put then in my radio for work and radio died after 15 min. Will try again but something tells me it won't work.

Decent battery charger
Misplaced the manual, can't recall the difference between the blinking red and solid red led, been about 16 months since purchase and two the batteries gave up after estimated 30 charges. All things considered I'd b another if the price was $5-8 bucks cheaper in Canada.

shortest rechargeable battery
If the Duracell product could have been worse I'm not sure they could achieve this I cant find any solution to issue if I'm wrong then I apologise but isn't the function of a battery charger to charge a battery? mine doesn't work I don't feel I should have to try all the different approaches ive seen mentioned to fix a new product however I did anyway and it still doesn't work id like to say dissatisfied but its a lot more than that I only gave this a one star ratingId as there wasn't an opportunity to give negative stars

I have been using this, along with the original batteries, for well over a year now. I find it hard to believe there's so many negative reviews. I swear by Duracell batteries and have been exclusively using them for 30 years!You can NOT beat their quality.

Works great for kids toys, flashlights, electronic
After I used a 1000 series for several months, I bought a 1000 series charger with batteries for both of my sons. They kept getting my batteries.\

These last a long time and work great in flashlights and electronics.

Flashing Red Will Not charge
Having the same issue as many others. After recharging approximately 4 or 5 times, used in xbox controller the batteries quit charging.
