Isobar Surge Protector, 8 Outlets, 25 ft Cord, 3840 Joules, Metal Housing

Excellent surge suppressor power outlet with long power cord. This product is a definite buy. Superlong 25 foot power cord is extremely useful especially in rooms where outlets are far away from equipment. I purchased this product based on the length of of the power cord and also Tripp Lite's brand reliability.

I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this protector. My objective was to get the best one available from a highly-regarded company.

Like the first reviewer, I needed something with an especially long cord and plenty of outlets.

This protector is perfect! I would tell anyone to get it.

This replaced a ISOBAR6 that was installed with a rather expensive security/video system. The problem I had was that they installed the ISOBAR6 and plugged it into a 25 foot extension cord. So why not just use the one made with 25ÕÉ Needless to say this was a great upgrade as there is no extra connection, much cleaner and less potential for issues. The 8 outlet also allows for expansion. I hope never to need the protection this offers my equipment, but itÕs nice to know what it can do. Also this has buildt in mounting brackets, the other did not.

ISOBAR8 is by far the best value in its class. Clean power. Excellent protection. Price is incredible for what you get.

This surge protector is made well. Mount holes on back if needed. I bought it because it had an extra long cord. i needed this because I had to hide the cord under a table and across a hallway where there is foot traffic, it is hidden in one of those floor pieces. I would buy again if needed.

I bought my first brand-new computer and wanted a top-notch surge suppressor to keep it safe.

All my exhaustive research led me to Tripp-Lite.

I chose the SOBAR825ULTRA because of the long cord. The outlets in my apartment are oddly-placed, and now I can arrange my furniture any way I want.

In addition, it got us safely through Hurricane Sandy.

I would both buy this again and recommend it to anyone with no hesitation at all!

The 25 foot surge protector was just what we needed in our office.  Sometimes outlets just are not where you need them for the best placement of equipment.  With this unit we were able to place our printer where we needed it and still have it protected from power surges and lightening.  We did have an issue with one side of the unit going out over a weekend but Tripp-Lite replaced it, no questions asked. Thanks, Tripp-Lite!

Very well made with good noise isolation. Support appears very good. Should last years.

The 825 ultra works great in my feed room connected to a electric fence controller.  But is surpassed by
Tripp Lite.  They have bent over backwards to help. I told them I had to plug it in about 10 ft, away
from the controller.  They wanted it to be plugged in directly with no extension cord. They sent me the
wrong one (to short a cord).  They told me o]to keep it and they would send another free.  Later the
controller got a surge from the fence side,  no fault of Tripp Lite.  They sent me another free, The
customer relations of Tripp Lite should be a model for all companies to go by.  From now on if I buy
a surge protector, you can bet it will be a Tripp Lite.  Great Company, and great claims administrator.

We've used Tripp-Lite surge protectors in our offices for years without fault, and install them for our clients' home theaters, home cinemas, music systems, security systems, and everything low-voltage. Tripp-Lite surge protection and power control components are 100% reliable.

We use it as a power filter and extension cord. It does both really well. The 25ft cord is very useful and not as stiff as other surge protectors we have. It is very resistant with its metal body; and also the 90 degree plug is useful to use it behind a desk.
The only drawback with this multi-outlet is the separation between them. It is quite tight.

Tripp-Lite is the only brand I'll spend my money on to protect my equipment!!!!  X brand was a great product at one time but it seems they farmed out production and quality suffered but it's still a worthy competitor.  I won't buy a (u know which brand I can't inject here)  if I can get my hands a Tripp-Lite product.  I have at least half a dozen or more Tripp-lite devices around the house........ a superior product that delivers superior performance.  Just keep doing your thing Tripp-Lite!!!!!
