I liked it, now I need to replace the battery...
I ordered the LabelManger PnP in February 2015 along with labels, but didn't use the unit until September 2015 when I discovered that the labels that I purchased were not for this unit. Beware that not everything that says "D1" is for this label maker. Although that's what is stamped inside of the machine, that is not the model number. Look for LabelManager PnP labels.\
On to the labels... it took several attempts to figure out how to print from an Excel spreadsheet, but I finally nailed it down. I love not having to manually enter each label, but I was not expecting it to be so complicated. I couldn't explain the process to someone else if I tried. Oh, and one thing I haven't figured out is printing multiple times from the same file. If you are in Import Data and Print, once you hit print, you have to go into Import Data and Print again if there are other labels that you needed to print on a different color tape, for example. The Import window closes and you have to start again.\
And, then there's the battery... In August 2016, my unit stopped working. I tried a new USB cord and a new USB port. Then, I read the reviews and started to hunt for a battery. The rechargeable battery is listed at approximately 50-60% of the cost of the printer.\
In retrospect, it was not the wisest label printer choice I could have made. Now to decide if I should buy a new label maker or buy a battery. Dymo, is there a way to make the battery last longer than 1 year?
