I love this product for all types of use. The kids use it to repair papers as well as for hanging them up on the wall. It dispenses well from the tape dispenser. It works great for craft projects and homework projects. It disappears on most of the papers we use at home.

Once in a while, I'll buy a brand other than Scotch because I find a good sale. When I wrap presents, I could kick myself for cheaping out. Scotch is the best for sealing packages and keeping them sealed.

The only brand tape I will buy and use!
In the past, I have bought other tape brands, to my disappointment, they would not do as promised or as stated on the package. Scotch will stick when others won't. I once had to use it to keep my cell phone held together so it would work. My cell phone worked after I used the Scoth tape on it. I could never say that about the other so called invisible tapes, non Scotch brand.
When Scotch says that it is invisible on paper, that is something I know for a fact. The other brands say they are invisible and yet when you use them to wrap a birthday or any package, they show up more than the paper that the gift is in. They are also shiny and shine more than the sparkly bows on the package.
These are a couple of reasons I give Scotch Magic Tape a ratingId of 5 stars. I would have given it more, had there been more. And as far as the future, I will always turn to Scotch for all my tape needs.

Wrapping a gift like a pro
I recently needed to wrap a gift for a birthday, so I reached for Scotch Magic Tape in my craft drawer. The Magic Tape rolled from the dispenser effortlessly. The tape adhered to the gift paper firmly and cleanly. The wrapping job looked professional. I was very pleased with the results.

This tape is always used in our household to wrap gifts at Christmas, birthdays, and other special occasions. When applied, it holds well and is very hard to see. Over the years, this tape is the first choice of our children for various school projects, photo albums and scrapbooks because it lasts and is nearly invisible. We would never buy anything else. Basically, we take it for granted.

I have used Scotch brand Magic tape for years! It is the only tape I buy and can't imagine wrapping a gift without it. It disappears on wrapping paper making my wrap job look neat and always holds well. It even holds up when my kids are trying to peek at their Christmas or birthday gifts! Magic tape is the only tape you will find in my home.

I love to wrap presents, and I want them to look very pretty. The matte finished makes the tape disappear, and lets the pretty wrapping paper show through. Just beautiful!

It seems I' ve used Scotch Tape forever. The original did not have the matte finish. With the matte finish there is a nice clean invisible finish. It is very easy to handle and cuts easily. A gift package always looks very professional when completed. I would rate the product as Excellent .

Excellent in value and will come off the roll without twisting and bunching up, the cutter will actually cut the tape so you don't have to have extra hands or a pair of scissors on hand.

I use scotch tape everyday...and I mean everyday from scrapbooking, to wrapping gifts, making sure an envelope is sealed and even using it as a temporary bandaid. I buy atleast 30 rolls a year and only buy Scotch.

The magic tape is the best!
I only use scotch brand magic tape for my christmas presents! It is the best tape, as it is almost invisible, and if you need to take it off a package, you can peel it off and it wont hurt the paper! Great product from a great company!

I purchased Scotch Magic Tape purely as a substitute because my normal store brand was out of stock. I purchased the tape to use for wrapping presents for the holidays. I quickly found that the Scotch magic tape was of better quality. The tape came off of the roll as one piece instead of sometimes tearing into several smaller pieces. Smaller pieces could be used intead of long strips of the store brand when wrapping because of the quality (stickiness/holding ability). I will recommend this to others now.

I really like this tape. When I wrap presents I always use Scotch Magic tape. It is so much better than any of those cheap brands. They say you get what you pay for and when you're using this tape, you can tell it is of a higher quality. It adheres so nicely to everything you use it for. I also like that it is almost invisable and makes everything look just so much nicer.

Scotch Magic Tape is the only transparent tape I use in my home. It is great for so many household uses. Not only for gift wrapping but also for holding things together when they are glued. It is what I use for hanging greeting cards on the walls or door frames or just about any place. I keep a roll on my kitchen table, in my desk, on my computer desk and in several miscellaneous drawers. There is even one in my dresser.

Scotch tape is the BEST tape to buy!
I would rate scotch brand name tape as the BEST to buy and use! I also like the dispenser provided with the tape because it makes it easier to dispense the tape and handle it instead of getting the tape stuck on your fingers. The cost is always worth it because the tape is so strong; it adhears to any surface and holds better than the tape from the local drugstore which doesn't last very long.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY THAT HAPPENED TO ME IN THE LAST TWO DAYS; I WAS BEGINNING TO WRAP SOME CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN AND RAN OUT OF MY SCOTCH TAPE. I LATER WENT TO THE STORE AND PICKED UP THEIR BRAND OF CLEAR TAPE; IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! IT WOULD TRY TO WAD UP EVERYTIME I TORE A PIECE OFF! I HAD TO QUIT WRAPPING UNTIL I BOUGHT ANOTHER ROLL OF THE MAGIC SCOTCH TAPE! NO MORE STORE BRANDS FOR ME! IT'S ONLY THE BEST FOR MY PACKAGES AND THAT IS SCOTCH TAPE; THE KING OF ALL TAPES!

Call me picky, but whether it's wrapping a gift for a special person in my life, or just repairing a tear on a page in a book, Scotch Magic tape is the only tape I will use. It has a nice weight, and "disappears" when applied to whatever I'm taping.

I love using the Scotch brand magic tape. It gets the job done when I need it most. I can remember using the magic tape to put up a variety of posters on my bedroom wall. It was very clean looking due to the invisibility factor. I had quite a good time decoratingId my walls and using this tape made it all possible.

i love this tape. i like how it just rolls off the dispenser and onto my packages clear. no one can even see the tape or how much i have to use because i can't wrap a package that great, but nobody knows because it's invisible. i love it and i love all the scotch brands that i have used. thank you scotch for being so inventive!

I have three boys at home and we use tape all of the time at our house on all kind of projects. Taping trucks together taping school work papers up on the wall. The tape really does a good job and holds the papers together, and sticks good to the wall. I really like this product. Thank you!

I use Scotch Magic Tape for almost everything. I always keep a few rolls handy. A couple around the house, one in my work bag, one with my craft supplies, and one in our home office. The magic tape is easy for me to see when I'm working with it, but invisible when it should be. We've wrapped presents (i'd love to try the pop its), used it for practical jokes, to mount pictures in college frames,to hang notices and messages, minor shoe, pen, pencil, i could go on. The strangest thing we used it for was to stop my son's finger from bleeding because we were out of band-aids. (YES it worked) I also make sure to donate a few rolls to the preschool and a local youth home. Everyone should keep a few around they are so versatile.

Scotch Magic Tape is Magic
We use scotch magic tape at work all the time that is all we order. Because we tried ordering other tape and it would stick together and you could never get it apart or find the end. We have one girl in the office that is crazy about tape. She tapes up everything. She goes through tape like no other. Don't get me wrong she is a very organized worker, but she has a fastination with tape. We love your product and hope you keep making it.

The old adage: "You get what you pay for", always seems to come true - and it's definitely so for Scotch Magic Tape. It may be cheaper to buy a different brand, but it won't work as well and there never seems to be enough for what I need. With Scotch, I feel like I am using a great item and it didn't really cost that much more.

Scotch Magic Tape is great to use. The tape slides easy when you you pull it and the edge of the tape despenser cuts the tape without having to wrestle with it to cut through. It seems like it has a light coat of adhesive, so it doesn't stick to your skin to much when you transfer the tape from the dispenser to the paper but it sticks real good to a peice of paper. Magically put together.

Scotch Magic Tape is Magical
I just love using Scotch Brand tapes, but especially Scoth Magic tape. It holds firmly and doesn't come undone. It doesn't appear shiny on paper products such as gift wrap etc. It comes in different widths which I find to be very helpful in all of my craft and scrapbooking projects. Wrapping gifts for birthdays, holidays and other gift giving occasions is a breeze using Scoth Magic Tape. I love it!

I love this tape. I use it almost everyday and especially during the holiday season. It is the best. It comes off the roll easily and when it sticks to itself you can take it apart easily. Also will come off gift wrap neatly if needed. My favorite brand!!

Scotch (R) Magic (TM) Tape

I have used scotch brand tape for many years. I have always found the tapes to be very strong yet manageable. I have arthritis in my fingers and other tapes stick together and are very cheaply made. I do think that your tape is well worth the money

My self and every member of my household without fail always reach for the scotch brand because whether it's for something as simple as keeping an envelope or opened package closed we know if it's scotch tape we don't have to check back later to see if it's still closed or not, and yes we have tried other brands some less expensive and some more expensive but there is always some issue with the others such as it either won't tear because its too thick or too flimsy or will tear but raggedly or there isn't enough stick to it and the package that you have taped will open after the glue wears off the tape, with scotch we know what we are getting so we will always grab the scotch over the others.

Scotch Magic Tape is the best
In my memories all my life we have used Scotch tape. The magic is great. You can see it on the roll, but not on the package. So your package looks so nice and clean.

I have tried many other cheaper brands of tape and none work as well as Scotch Magic Tape. It is nice to be able to be sure that when you tape something together that it will stay together and not come apart. Money saved on cheaper products is not money earned if the product does not work.

I have been using this tape for longer than I can remember. It is very reliable and has never yellowed or loosened! I can read through it, write on it, and even untangle it if I pulled too much off the roll. We use a 'store brand' at work and I ended up putting a roll of Scrotch Brand in my drawer. No one sees it there and I don't have to share!

i grew up with Scotch-brand scotch tape! in fact, when the name scotch tape became a generic name it was from Scotch-brand.
we owned a candy store when i was young and we wrapped a lot of boxes of chocolates at Christmas. always using Scotch-brand - why skimp on the outside when nothing else was skimped on?
now as a father passing on some traditions of my own, when wrapping gifts with my son we ALWAYS use Scotch-brand scotch tape!

As a housewife, I only have uses for tape in my home (i.e., not at a workplace). But I always keep an open roll in my kitchen utility drawer and it comes in so handy day after day with little and big home projects since my home is my work-place! All I do is open the drawer, look for a glint of green plaid, grab out the tape dispenser and get to work. Seeing that green Scotch plaid is an easy way to spot quality and convenience.

I give this product a good review because it does not impede the beauty of my package by standing out as a yellow blemish on the paper. I would have given excellent review if only the tape would not stick to itself when accidentally let go mid tear, causing you to loose where the beginning of the roll is. In its defense it lives up to its name by blending in and being "magic" tape and almost disappearing as what makes it so effective for wrapping anyway.

I liked this tape alot. Liked that your could not see it on the packages and it did not break when pulling it off roll.

I'm in love with this tape. I've tried many kinds and brands employers have used, none of them compare with 3M Scotch Magic Tape.
It is sturdier, smoother, and, when necessary, is the easiest to remove or reposition. Most lesser quality tapes rip or leave residue behind.
I'm an office supply snob and this is the only one I'll buy!

Scotch Magic Tape Fun time!
I have a grandson who needed to learn how
to use tape 3 years old, I give the tape to
him and let him tape and cut the tape
freely, not telling him how long at first so he
can't fail.
At first there was tape everywhere, now
he uses the tape with small pieces because
he was able to use it freely, he will make all
kinds of projects with tape and will be busy for
long periods of time, because tape is available
at all times. The tape comes off quickly, and easy
to work with. Tape can be a craft experience
all by it's self if you let the child learn freely. !!!!

I have used Scotch Magic Tape for as long as I can remember. I have always been impressed with the fact that it is "invisible". This tape really sticks with me.

I prefer Scotch Magic Tape over any other brand. I am considering about trying the one-handed type dispenser. Either way, the tape is still high quality.

Is it possible that there is someone in the world here in the 21st century who is unfamiliar with this stuff and really needs a review to help them decide if they want to buy it? Scotch Magic Tape is the one with the matte finish that you can write on. Once applied, the frosted finish is virtually invisible.
You get three disposable dispensers of 3/4 inch tape, each 300 inches long. The dispensers appear to be single-use. They are completely open on one side but I don't think they can be refilled. This could be viewed as packaging-intensive and eco-unfriendly. If such matters concern you, you may want to invest in a permanent desk dispenser and refill rolls as that option would involve less plastic waste.
When applying, as long as you keep one end of the tape off of of the surface you're sticking it to, you can remove it without difficulty. But once you've pressed the entire piece of tape down firmly, it's permanent and essentially un-removable. It will shred and tear if you try. Likewise, if the tape gets free of the cutting edge of the dispenser and sticks itself flat to the roll, you're doomed.

I do a lot of sewing using paper patterns. I really like the magic tape because you can write on it if you have to alter the pattern. Other tapes are not capable of this.

Scotch Magic Tape is a high quality product that has many uses. I have been using the product for many years, and worked at a family business that also sold the product. I have never had, nor heard any complaints about this 3M product.

I thoroughly enjoy using scotch tapes. They work really well and are stronger than others I have used in the past. Would recommend it to my friends. Where other brands would tear easily or twist up, scotch handles very well. I especially like the colored tapes and how creative they are.

Over the years I have grabbed other brands of tape off of the store shelf, thinking how much difference can it make. Well I have figured out that it does make a difference, Scotch Magic Tape is really superior to the cheapie brands out there. I say just do it right the first time and keep Scotch brand products at home and be done with it.

I have used tape from all dfferent stores . . .Trust me, I will never buy dollar store tape again. "Majic" is my favorite without a doubt! It doesn't get stuck, crinkled, lost or even stretch. It is the easest to use and make all my packages look perfect!

It Disappears like Magic!!
I love the fact that once applied to just about anything it seems to disappear. But even then I can write on the tape using pencil, pen, permanent marker, etc. I use this tape for almost everything in my house...to date my freezer items, to put my name on my potluck dishes, you name it. I won't buy any other tape...period.

I can not begin to tell anyone how much I love scotch tape. It is because of scotch tape that I have such fond memories of Christmas when I was a child and as an adult. I love wrapping presents and using my scotch tape. I love how good it smells. This tape is all I ever use. OH MY GOSH I LOVE SCOTCH TAPE!!!!!

I have tried other tape, but Scotch brand sticks so much better and the magic tape, you cannot even see the tape on the wrapping paper so it does not take away for the beauty of the paper. I love Scotch Magic Tape!

splits and peels! Two rolls in the same pack, same
I bought a multipack of this magic tape. UGH. The first roll was ok. The 2nd roll began splitting and peeling after I'd only used it a couple times. I find the end, try to use it, but it immediately tapers to a thin strand and then splits off. YES I am using a good dispenser, into which this is inserted properly. Figured I had a bad roll, took out another roll. SAME PROBLEM!

Scotch tape is so reliable weather I am wrapping Christmas gifts or sending back a Christmas gift with Scotch packing tape. I never have to worry about if it will hold or come apart before it get to it’s destination ...my grandchildren use all kinds of Scotch tape when crafting at my house ....

Always ready to use, never tear on the roll.
I have bought this brand for years. It is a true cut tape. Not too shiny/glossy. Easy to use (never tears on the roll). Easy to find end if it gets off the cutter back on the roll. Prefect every time. Not the too-too tacky tape. Love your product. Bought 2 more rolls yesterday.

I’ve tried other brands before but Scotch Magic Tape is the best. It’s not highly visible and doesn’t easily tear the paper when I’ve had to reposition it. I can’t say that about any other brands.

Sticks ok but hard to stay peeled on roll.
I have bought 3M products over the years and have been satisfied overall. Always thought their products were high quality. This Magic tape roll is too thin and cheap. It does not stay peeled on the roll and it makes it extremely difficult to start a new tape strip peel. After taking a piece of tape off it sometimes it doesn't rip off correctly and it sticks on the roll making it hard to start a new tape strip. If it was just a little bit thicker and stronger it would be better. I do not recommend this cheaply made thin tape. I will have to find another quality brand.
