MFCL2750DWXL XL Extended Print Compact Laser All-in-One Printer with Up to 2-Years of Toner In-Box

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. PACKAGING: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I found the packaging to be very well thought through but was surprised about the inclusion of both a CD and telephone cable (presumably for the fax capability) as these seem like things that would be omitted from a printer in 2017. I was concerned about the styrofoam pieces disintegratingId everywhere but they held up well and were easy to place back in the box for recycling.SET-UP: The printer was surprisingly light and easy to remove from the box and so too were the orange safety / packing parts on the toner cartridge. I liked having to remove each adhesive which gave me the added benefit of learning about each side of the printer without having to look at the manual, resulting in a printer & accompanying toner cartridge that`s easy to set-up. I was a little surprised that I had to set the date & time manually in order to access Apps on the printer but once I did that, everything was working as expected.UTILITY: This printer is not super quiet, has a bit of a consistent low hum and auto sleep mode has to be manually set (and so too does eco mode). The driver installation and simple WiFi / AirPrint printing made it easy to use from all of my devices and the print-outs were of very high quality, even from the first print. The app integration (e.g. Dropbox) seems useful but it was a bit more complicated to set-up on the printer itself so for those wanting this type of integration, it`s probably best to just use those apps from a device like a laptop, smartphone or tablet and print directly from there.PRICE: While I received this item for free, I think the price point is reasonable especially given the included two years worth of toner which was highly unexpected but very welcome. The additional cartridge comes packaged in such a way that makes it feel like the toner ink will last for over a year and not be dry by that point.OVERALL: This is a great little laser printer, the packaging was well thought through and there`s zero inconvenience in getting it up and running in a home or office. It works great wirelessly and delivers a terrific black and white laser print on all sorts of paper. The only negative, at least for me, has been the amount of power draw and consumption, which in my home office results in flickering lights when it is actively printing or even in standup (when not in sleep mode).

It fit perfectly on the shelf that I was using for a much older unit.ASSEMBLY: Assembly was pretty simple, following steps on assembly is key. Have also had more experience with larger all in one printers because of my experience messing around with the old one when it would stop working.STABILITY: The device looked very good, the material of the machine looks well made and should last. Especially considering that we do not move the machine around.PROBLEMS: In the time frame I have used it, roughly a week and a half, I encountered no problems that one could speak of. It was smooth with the functions that I use for my job daily, namely, printing, copying and faxing. PRICE: Was not a factor in my getting this device, looked online to find the price. For the main uses I was requiring the device for, the price point was slightly high.Last remarks, the product does all the basic features that i require well. It was very well equipped with all the features that I required. My favorite feature is some that cut out an extra step for my job: instead of having to send an email to print out something from my phone, connected to the printer directly. The instructions were clear to follow, from setup to usage. As mentioned earlier, this does everything my device use to do, plus has some extra features that make it a better device. It also prints and makes copies better than my older device. The product met my expectations and then some, as far as for improvements, I did not notice anything at the moment that would make the device more useful. Overall, the device is great and does the essentials needed for a small business.

The Brother Printer 2750DW XL is a great printer to use if you work from home or in a small business office. I often work from home and found this printer to be very useful due its print, copy, scan and fax features. Each of these features are easy to use once you get up and running. The initial wifi setup proved to be a little challenging due to some connectivity issues with my router. I opted to utilize the USB connection which any technologically novice person can set up and be ready to print files instantly and without hassle. Aside from the wifi problem, the initial setup of the printer was straight forward including loading the toner into the printer. I`ve printed, scanned and made numerous copies on with this printer ever since it came in. Dropping by a copy store is no longer apart of running errands for me and I`ve found more ways to utilize this printer than I would`ve had I not had it. Being able to do everything from the comfort of my desk has saved me more hours of my day than I can even account for. Overall a great printer and I`m glad I have it.

I was very pleased at the performance of this printer.  I love the high paper capacity and the touch screen makes it very easy to use. I was able to print right from my phone which I thought was a great feature. I loved how fast it is and the quality of the printed documents was excellent. I don`t have much use for the fax feature although I`m sure it would come in handy at some point.  The only thing I wish was that it printed color as well.   But as most of my printing needs don`t require color, it was sufficient. It was also more quiet than I expected.

This product is fairly easy to set-up.  There were no difficulties in getting the network online and connected to my router.  The printer came with a disc but I never felt there was a reason to use it.  I was able to connect to my cell phone almost immediately and print directly from my phone.  The printing itself is quick an efficient and fast.  Similarly the scan function quickly uploads and I found no difficulties with getting the documents to seamlessly transfer to my PC.I will admit that the word compact made me think that the device is small but I guess we are talking in terms of an office copier and not a personal device.  In terms of an office all-in-one copier, it is quite compact, but in terms of a personal device, it is larger than I envisioned.  Nevertheless, while the overall size was a little off-putting at first, I find that the printer blends seamlessly into my home.  I barely notice it.  I just want to be upfront to not expect a tiny device when you hear the word compact.I have used all of the products functions except for the fax service as I do not have a home telephone line.  I wish this copier came with a program to use my cell phone as a means of transmitting faxes.  Now, I will admit, there could be a means of performing this that I may not be aware o,f but if there is, I did not find it.I was impressed with the Brother suite of apps such as Scan to Office. While I haven`t had a critical reason to use it as of yet, but I did test it, and found that the feature worked well in terms of making scans editable. This is a feature I feel that I will get good use out of in the future.

I received my new All-in-One Printer, just in time for the Holidays, and it has been a terrific Holiday Gift!  Setting up this machine was really simple--I was up and running in under 15 minutes.  Everything was intuitive and easy--I did not even need the instructions.  The machine is a little higher than my last machine, but still easily fits on my small tabletop.  I love the way the machine runs.  It is able to do so much more than my last all-in-one, but is still so easy to use!  I can print and copy double sided, saving on paper.  I can scan to documents, images or email, in a number of different file types, including word and jpeg.  I can also interface with the cloud, print easily from my phone and tablet (LOVE THAT!).  Print time is fast, and print quality is excellent--very clear and crisp.  The colors on the scanner read very true--I can scan photos and they look great in my files.  I miss the USB port for saving directly onto a portable device, but I can always save onto the cloud.  Printer does not print in color, but a small trade off for the ease, speed and clarity with which I can do everything else. This All-in-One is terrific for my busy home office:  I`m very happy with this product.

First impressions when the product arrived - It comes in fairly large box that struck me as a little larger then the description of "compact" suggests.  I brought it in my home and began unpacking. Once I opened it, I found it to be well packaged, quite easy to open up each component and pull everything out.  So far, so good.I removed all the wrapping and adhesive tape, again, very easy and straightforward.  It took me a few minutes to figure out to install the enclosed toner cartridge but I`m a bit impatient and didn`t read the directions.  Even without reading those, I got it set up, powered up, and working in about ten minutes total. I consider a product easy to use if I can figure it out without reading a half hour of instructions, so this is a winner in my book on that front.  First use - Printed super fast and with practically no effort from my phone and laptop. The laptop needed a little time to get the software installed to scan but printing was a breeze.  It took even less time to perform either task from my Android phone.By far, the best feature is the speed of warm-up to begin printing, that`s mostly instantaneous.  My old printer took forever to warm up and get itself ready,this one, really quick and makes virtually no noise.  Hit print, and you get your page a moment later. Scanning was also nice and quick and requires little effort on the users part. The resulting scans are of high quality and gives you many options on how to save files.  Overall, the ease of setup, print quality and speed, and scanning abilities were better then several other multi-function devices I use, including those at work. This product won`t replace those expensive multi user machines you`d find in a large office environment, but this would seem to work well for a small workgroup or sole office that has a lot of printing and scanning needs.  This machine would certainly be a step up for my work office - my machine there is quite slow on all fronts compared to this one.  If I had anything negative to say, the overall size is a little larger then I would have preferred.  In my mind, its not as "compact" as the word would suggest.  The black color matches just about anything as you would expect, the noise level is quite low, and I appreciate the user adjustable auto off feature. Its made almost entirely of plastic so it does suffer a bit from that plastic-y feel but as long as you treat it reasonably, it appears that it would age well.  The device`s configuration screen is straightforward and easy to use.  Like any small screen, if you have meaty fingers as I do, you may have to be a little careful on how you type but slow down and choose each character carefully which is easy enough. The embedded app features are great if you utilize programs such as Dropbox, as I do, one less step is an added convenience. Duplex printing and the two years worth of toner make it a complete solution for most needs.   To conclude, I am quite satisfied with this device.

I really enjoy being able to scan documents and photos, make copies, and print using a wifi connection. I can also use a cable (not included) to connect my computer to the printer if I wish. The wifi feature is very convenient. I have used both my laptop and my smartphone to print documents and it`s been very smooth and fast. A friend was visiting and was also able to use her own cellphone to print an email. I have a small business that requires me to print a lot of documents, and so far I haven`t had any issues. The quality of the printing is excellent. Scanning is extremely easy, the pictures were immediately transferred to my laptop. I have a lot of old photographs to scan and this feature is so useful! The price is pretty competitive and fair for what you get. Overall, I highly recommend this printer.Cons: my laptop would not find the printer via wifi at first. It was pretty frustratingId but after talking to Brother customer service, they helped me through the installation process and it was easily fixed. Secondly, this printer is pretty big and takes quite some space. However, it is a normal size for this kind of printer and I couldn`t imagine it being more compact.

Item: Brother MFC l 27500w  Brother Wireless Printer:  My home office has an existing ink jet printer in it also Multi-function, my existing printer was expensive to replace ink and could not handle my printing needs.  The new printer provides everything I need and the toner last for a long time which is great when you`re on a budget. Set UP: Overall, it was very easy to setup. The most difficult part was finding clearance for the printer it is compact but it has some depth to it. The instructions very easy to understand and I was up and running in 15 minutes longest part of setup was finding my network password. Performance: The printer is solid. IT stays connected to the network and prints quickly the print quality is amazing, it Puts out a professional looking document, besides print quality the menus are easy to read and straight forward. The build quality of the printer is substantial and will hold up to light to medium home office use. PROBLEMS: Not really a problem just a call out this is not a color printer so keep then in mind when you order it. If you`re looking for a well built and quality Black and white Laser printer this is your printer.

Really enjoy using this printer. This is the second time I am opting for Brother.

Tried to connect to our home network but could not connect with WiFi.  Every time I tried to connect via WiFi from one computer the hard wired one stopped working.  Had to repeatedly install software.  Taking it back.

In my home office environment I love the low cost printing.  Duplex scanning and duplex printing speeds jobs up.  It was easy to set up.  So far I have had no issues with my printer.

Finally upgraded from an ink printer and loving the speed and ease of use.

Love that I can scan and copy multiple papers at once, easy to use.. I would like to be able to print multiple envelopes on the side opening and when scanning would be nice to have a re scan option instead of canceling

This printer was easy to setup.  Didn't need to refer to owners manual once.  Does everything I could ask for.  Great update from my previous printer.

So far no problems . Had to figure out some things because we now have 2 printers. But as I said it is doing fine

I bought this printer to replace an older Dell unit that I was happy with until it stopped working. I have to say that this printer does everything the Dell unit did and more and it's faster! I am very pleased.

Have enjoyed the printer's performance from the get go.  I like how quickly it prints and not having to add paper half way thru a print job.  I picked a good one.

The feature that I was looking for in an economical multifunction laser copier was duplex printing and copying.  The MFC-L2750DW has that function and produces good printed and copied documents.

We replaced another unit with yours. When we scanned multiple pages on it, it created 1 file, not a file for each page. Am I doing something wrong? Is it a setting?

Arguably one of the best printers I have owned.  Has on the features and functionality that I was looking for, and then some.

I wish I could set document size to something not in your list. Epson Scan provides this feature.

I like some fetures such as the way papers are secured in the Paper Tray. When scan or print, the letters are very clear.

This printer is better than i expected.  It was a little expensive but worth the investment.

Fast, dependable, many great features. Just love that it has so many functions.

Purchased for office, easy to setup, very user friendly. I scan alot of docs it's nice having such an easy scanner to use.

Wakes up to print under Windows 10, but needs to finish priming after powering on before I can click the print button in an application.  Native scanning interface has a rather small window to use for cropping, with somewhat limited options.  Also it defaults to 100 dpi for every scan.  I usually want at least 300 dpi.  Did not try FAX.

Haven’t used all features myself but my son absolutely gives it high praise

Goes thru toner much quicker than it advertised.  I used to purchase toner every 2.5 months (or longer) for my old printer.  Put a new toner in on 10/9 and it is already telling me we are low.  It also does not do a great job if printing pictures (jpeg).  Prints darker that actual image.  Also, if using blue pen on document, it doesn't pick it up without changing the settings to print each time.

So far, it prints out smoothly. I have not have any issues yet.

I purposely bought this for the double-sided scanning feature. Although it works, there is a persistent line on the scanned docs. We cleaned it with alcohol, as the manual recommends, but there is still a faint line there. It's odd that the line showed up, straight out of the box. Other than that annoying issue, I like this product very much. It's nice to have a laser printer that is reasonably priced but prints like a business quality printer.

At the lowest resolution setting of 150 by 150 dpi and toner saver mode on the print is excellent, sharp and very easy to read. The scanner makes nice clean copies. Fax is decent also.

Using scanner for first time was a bit of a pain — couldn’t figure out where scan copy was saved on my computer. Easier to start from PCto begin scan them from printer. From printer setting up scan options does not seem intuitive

It is light weight so can be placed on any surface or moved as needed. It is also very fast. But what is really neat is the way it scans 2 sided documents - that was the real selling point for me.

I love my new printer. This works really well, prints fast and really good quality for what I'm needing.

It scans, copies, prints, efficiently and with no jams.  Setting up the wifi was tricky but only because my internet provider hadn't given me the correct password.  Once that was solved it was easy to use and extremely reliable.  Best printer I've ever had and no longer the expensive hassle of inkjet cartridges drying up and ruining the printhead, thus not being usable when most needed.  I LOVE IT!!!

I purchased this unit for a medium duty small office Multi-Function device. We use it regularly for scanning, printing, and copying. We run about 200 copies per month through it, and have been incredibly pleased with the ease of use, and output. We also appreciate the cost saving options, of reducing toner usage.

I found this laserjet all in one to be perfect for my business.

Set up was intuitive. As I went to install the printer on some of the devices on our home network, I found that this printer was already setup. I have printed from the Brother phone app too. It works well.

printer goes offline daily after connecting to home wifi.  support and connection repair tool are useless. only works when reboot wifi router.

Have two houses and one of these fabulous workhorse of a printer at each. Quick easy setup, scanning a breeze. Printing a manual on both side is economical.  best purchase ever

I love Brother printers. they are dependable and they last.

The problem is........we change from plain paper to letterhead to checks.     You can only feed one sheet at a time from the drop down feeder.   To load a stack of checks to print, you have to load them in reverse order.    \

I love Brother printers by the way so I will order a printer and a seperate scanner.

I use printer for personal home use - printing, scanning, etc.  Like two-sided scanning and printing.  Printer is fast and works fine.  Very happy with printer and no complaints

It is a replacement for a H.P. From turn on to print is about 15 seconds. The old H.P. took a full minute. The print cartridge uses printer powder, the H.P. used office jet ink. The inkjet requires use often or dries in the print head running the printer. The powder stays powdery.

This little machine does its duty!  When the expensive-office required-temperamental machine goes down, this one steps right in.

This printer was a snap to install (15 minutes) and that includes unpacking, placing it, plugging it in and setting it up for wireless. I have checked out almost every capability including printing (on both sides), faxing, scanning and copying, all of which worked with no problems. This device is a little noisy compared to my older Brother printer but it's not so noisy as to be a bother. It's a great laser b&w printer.

I purchased this printer to print large jobs and I am very pleased with its performance. It was easy to set up and maintain. The control screen is very user friendly and I learned very quickly to navigate through the various settings. Setting up the wireless connection was very easy and printing from any device was just as easy. I recommend this product.

I love this machine. I’ve had several printers over my lifetime but this is the best one ever. It prints fast and I love being able to print from my phone. Another plus is it the toner is very inexpensive much less than what I’ve ever had before

It handles all of the jobs I need doing. I selected the wireless printer, I do not have to be in the room to print and can use my phone to print papers. It Function will for big jobs. The printer was recommended by the salesperson at the store I purchased it from.

Only complaint I have is the printer keeps loosing connection to wifi and wireless connection to my laptop.  Other than that it seems like a decent printer for the price.

Toner sucker.Not only can you NOT use off brand toner, but it won't even recognize brother toner most of the time. I purchased 8 toners in 1 month for minimal to medium usae in 1 mone!  - takes 5 minutes to RECONNECT to wifi every time it is used.

I haven't fully utilized my printer but to date I have used it for printing, copying and scanning. The quality of the printed/copied/scanned documents is great and I am very pleased with the printer. I LOVE having a Bluetooth printer -- it's such a treat.

I’m very happy with this printer. I haven’t tried to set it up for WiFi communication so I can’t comment on that aspect of setup or function but it was super simple to setup and hook up to my laptop and no hardship to be plugged in to print. So opted for that since I use this printer for my home office solely.

Better than expected.  Fast copies. Have not had it that long but so far wonderful.

Once set up, everything works including printing from mobile phone.

We've had it in our home office for a couple months. Even my wife :) can copy to a .pdf file. (Well after my son got things set up, anyway.)

One of the reasons I bought this was the duplex scan ability. With that being said, the quality and functionality is poor and I'm disappointed by it. Have had Brother products in the past with no issues. Even when scanning a one-sided page there is plenty of artifact and even "bleed through." Bad when scanning two sided pages. I have not had this problem with other scanners.

I like this product, it allows for fax download into PC, prints, copies, and it has small footprint.

Been using it half a year now without any problems. Gives awesome quality prints at a fast speed. Great printer for a good price.

Does a nice job on duplexing..  Switched over from inkjet, only wish I hadn't' waited so long..  I needed to print out a lot of forms for the government and everyone came out perfect..

Very impressed with the quality of this multi-function printer, scanner, etc. The print speed is excellent, great quality, and I like the ability to use the paper feeder feature to scan/copy multi-page documents. Also easy to connect to WiFi and print directly from any devices, including cell phones. Just wish there was a way to program it to scan/copy 2-sided, or at least I haven’t been able to figure out how to enable this feature if it is already available, in which case it would be nice if the instructions on how to enable this feature were more prevalent. Overall very satisfied with this product and feel it’s perfect for my use as a home office multi-function printer.

Always shutting down in middle of printing.... Drivers will not update..... and there is a big strip of black ink down the side of each printed sheet...... not good....

This printer works great and does it all: prints, scans, & faxes. And it does it quickly and with precision. Great economical and versatile machine!

Great Product for home use.  Have tried all functions successfully.

The printer produces good quality prints, prints on both sides, and the graphic user interface is pretty intuitive. The control panel on the printer could be bigger, as its a bit hard to read. I noted two problems. To prints envelopes or other thick or irregular items, you are expected to get into the back of the printer, open a hatch, and flip two green levers. This is not only awkward, but is not covered in the manual; I had to call customer service. In addition, when you flip the levers, it changes the print path resulting in the items emerging from what is for m the back of the printer. I have to lean way over and try to extract it (same problem for flipping the green levers.)\
Another weakness is that the manual feed slot on the front only will take one sheet. If I decide to use the slot, I have to print one page at a time and keep reloading the slot (I say slot because there is no feed tray, which would be greatly more convenient.)

Great step up from the 7820n I had previously. Price was better 10 years down the line.

The printer is quite easy to install and utilize. The instructions are easy to understand, and its functionality is a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. I am very happy with the product.

This is not my first brother Fax. I’ve been using different versions over the years. The machine is functional. With Eprinting it is definite improvement. Also the scanning to the PC is improved. I rarely  FAX so I cannot may come in. The quality of the laser print thing is good. I found no deficiencies.

This is my second brother laser multi-purpose printer. My first lasted over 10 years. The only reason I had to purchase a new printer is because the old printer was not compatible with my new Apple MacPro computer. I love using my Brother printer.
