This is a life saver! I have fibromyalgia and this stapler really is easier to use. It requires almost no effort to press down. I am really grateful for it.

Ever since I discovered this stapler, I have thrown out all the older models where you have to exert so much force, only to have the stapler jam or just not take hold properly. This model is so easy to use and 100% accurate. Only when the last stapler has been used do you realize it's empty - no misfires, no jams.

It always leaves a perfect staple in place. Absolutely love it! Will never consider another type or brand.

Consistent with the Swingline brand of products, this stapler is well constructed and is easier to squeeze to trigger the staple action.

I have used this stapler for over 3 years now and I have never had it jam or skip a beat. It is used daily. It fits in the hand nicely and has a cushy rubber base that is comfortable and prevents it from sliding around on slick surfaces. I have dropped it several times without incident. Great little stapler. Several of my co-workers have tried to gank it unsuccessfully. Does Swingline make stapler tracking devices??? Good job Swingline!

Not all staplers can push through paper properly, even a few pages. This one does expertly, even with extra pages and with the light touch function it becomes an almost automatic product.

I teach in a special education classroom, so we are constantly moving around stapling different types and quantities of papers together. This stapler goes through cleanly and easily. It never snags. My students often want to staple their own papers, and this lightweight stapler is sturdy enough for them but also easy for them to use whether it is in their hand or sitting on a desk. We are very pleased with our stapler.

I have had my current Light Touch for aprox two years, It hasn't ever jammed and I use it hundreds of times per day. I love the way it functions butI especially like the fact that it's purple. I have purchased at least 6 at this time for our office.

Great stapler for those who don't want to or can't put a lot of strength into stapling up to 20 sheets of paper at a time. Some staplers are difficult even with just a few sheets, but not these. So easy to use.

UPDATE! After a not-so-great experience with our first stapler, we were provided with a replacement which is had worked superbly! The replacement process was seamless and customer service was EXCELLENT! Thank you!

I wrote a bad review (now I feel real guilty), because 2 of my staplers went bad. They contacted me, responded promptly and replaced my bad ones.
Shows how serious they are. I remember Microsoft asking me to send back my mice/keyboards that stopped working and once I did that, they never got back in touch or replaced them. I was sort of expecting something similar here but they responded to emails and replaced their product.
Will keep buying Swingline as I think they are the best game in town. We have had some of their staplers literally for years and they just keep on working.

I loved this stapler for the first few weeks. I use it lightly. The spring inside busted early on. I've tried to rig something up but the fix doesnt work, so the staples are not held in the stapling position unless I hold it vertical and use gravity.

At $30+ for a stapler, this is iritating. I wouldnt recommend it.

Based on the Swingline brand and the price I paid, I expected this stapler to last my teens through their high school years. Not quite. The spring popped on this thing some time ago and I can't find any help online for this particular model. It also doesn't appear that there is a manual for self repair. Where does that little spring go, anyway?

I purchased two in one year. Both times, the spring on the inside of the stapler gets stretched out and the stapler will no longer work.

I purchased this stapler thinking it was like the PowerEase Stapler, but it is not! The powerease is so much easier to use, softer on the hands and actually feels like its worth what I paid for it! This one is nowhere near as good! it feels cheap when you use it, and is not as soft on the hands, causing me pain each time. Plus it was expensive! What happened to the PowerEase? Please bring it back!

This product was shipped to me as the "improved" stapler from the original 66402 (much more classic design).  I ordered from Staples and have left a similar review there.

The biggest issue is that my office has a classic/traditional look and this was not at all the aesthetic choice I was going for when the original product had been so well-received and reviewed.  

All I got was a note inside the package saying that Swingline hoped I liked the new stapler versus what I had ordered.

Nobody called to say what I ordered was no longer available.

Swingline duped me and Staples.

I will never buy a Swingline product again.

Being a school teacher, I need a reliable stapler. My last Swingline broke after using it for at least 6 years, so I figured it was time. My stapler arrived yesterday and I was excited to use it. However, upon loading the staples, it got jammed. The staples went askew at the back where the spring is located and it took about 30 minutes to fix it. Now the spring is stretched out in places and I'm unsure it's going to last very long. This is not an inexpensive stapler and I expected tighter quality. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

This stapler is a great office supply. Easy to handle, quiet and staples up to 25 papers easily. However an essential piece of the stapler broke off after 3 months. The stapler comes with a warranty though so I do recommend this product.

This is the worst stapler ever. It is impossible to reload.  This may sound silly - that I can't figure out how to reload this stapler.  But either this is broken or the reload process is so counter-intuitive that it is pointless.  Please do not buy this stapler. I think Swingline should refund everyone for this.  And, I can't even reach someone at Swingline to help.
