The problem is that the applicator is too short. That's probably great for younger girls but not for grown women. You can't get the tampon in far enough. Then you feel like it is coming out (because it is). I liked the slender regular and lite cardboard tampons. I, like others, may have to switch my 35 years of loyalty to Tampax and try another product.

Anti slip grip is very slippery
I really liked so much the former design of the applicator, but now the grip is very slippery because be border at the end was removed and the shape was changed (oval instead of rounded). I had such a hard time using it that I decided to use another brand until the applicator grip is changed back. And, as another customer said, the grip should be longer to allow enough room for the fingers.

The tampax pearl Ultra are the best! They hold so much and it feels like ur not even on ur period on your heaviest days. These are amazing I will never switch brands ever. I reccommend them to all of my friends and they agree with me

I tried those 'cool new tampons' from Kotex U, but they just don't give me the same protection that Tampax Pearl does. I'm fond of the plastic applicator, and haven't gone back to cardboard since.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Pearl Tampons
I will never use anything other than Tampax Pearl tampons again!.. They are super easy to insert, they don't leak even on my heavy days, and I can' t feel a thing!
I've been a Tampax fan since I was a teen, but these Pearl's are the best thing ever!.. I've always hated the cardboard applicators and was soo happy to try these out.. Definitely worth the few extra dollars!
I'll even go out of my way to find another store if my usual store is out of stock.
Tampax Pearls, I'm a fan for life, or at least until menopause, haha!

These are the most amazing tampons out there. I am a cheerleader and it is so easy to move around and you can't even tell your wearing one! Out of all the tampons out there, I would have to say these are the best ones.

I have been using Tampax Carboard tampons for many many years and they were always a little uncomfortable putting one in place. i Love the pearl plastic because it glides in place and is so comfortable you dont even know its there. Also protection is still what you would expect from tampax which is excellent.

This product is comfortable. It has maximum protection and I can go about my daily routine with out leakage. I love this product especially since I am not a tampon user. Usually I prefer feminine pads. However, this product give always infinite a run for it's money. I love it.

I have tried several tampax but only to find that most are uncomfortable, don't keep me feeling fresh, and tend to not be as absorbant as I might have hoped. Tampax Pearls give me the assurance that throughout my hectic and active day I can rest assured that I won't have an accident, remain refreshed and confident all day!

I absolutely love the Tampax Pearl lites! After going on the pill, my periods became extremely light and these are the smallest tampons I've been able to find. They're super comfortable, easy to insert, and the wrapper can handle pretty much anything I can throw at it. It's bigger than compact tampons, so it won't fit in my pants pocket, but it's great for purses of any size.

OMG!I love love love Tampax pearl tampons! There very light i take them everywhere i go i dont feel them when i use them its like heaven on earth. They glide right in and i dont have to change them every hour like other tampons plus they smell really great!

I have 3 teenage girls 13,15 and 17. The pearl tpax are the only ones they use. I search for coupons and stock up..need I say more?? They were easy to use right from the start. There is a size for all of them no matter what age.

TAMPAX PEARL ARE THE BEST EVER!!!!
I love the plastic applicator.they are pain-free compared to cardboard applicators.I am also very glad that they have come up with the ULTRA size,it lasts me between my 2hr breaks at work. This is the ONLY tampon brand that i buy

The first time I tried a tampon, it was a cardboard tampon. To me it felt uncomfortable to put in, and I wasn't really sure how I should feel. When I tried Tampax Pearl I knew that this was the right product for me to use. I have used U by Kotex and they don't feel as comfortable as the Pearl. Once correctly inserted I feel comfortable and absolutely FREE. I know that it is a challenge sometimes to have our periods and feel uncomfortable... Tampax Pearl broke the cycle for me!!! They are amazing!!

Award for Most Reliable Tampon Goes to...
TAMPAX PEARL! I have been using these for years and they have never failed me. I love them and will continue to buy them in the future. However, recently I was not paying attention and accidentally picked up a package of "cardboard" and not pearl. Maybe the different textures should have different packaging, who knows. Nonetheless, still a fabulous product!

well, all i can say about tampons is that they are comfortable to use..they take that sensation away of being caught in your period(i honesly dont like people to know im in my period) and gives you the liberty to do what you want when you want to..simple as that.

I've been using the Tampax pearl for a while now. Recently I bought the triple pack that was suppose to have 8 super plus, 8 super and 20 regular. Instead it had no super plus and an extra 8 regular tampons. I got the triple pack because during the first day my period is very heavy and the super plus were needed. I live at least 20 mins away from the closest store to return them so instead I have to use what I have until I get back to the store. With 5 children going to store is a challenge in itself so I"m very disappointed about this mistake.

I used Playtax for 10 years,then after having my son 2 years ago i had a hard time using playtax they started hurting me.So i started using tampax pearl and i love them.I think that it is great that they come in different sizes.I have to say this is the best tampon for me! p.s. Plus the different colors make it easy to grab and go.The only thing with that is the regular is yellow & the super plus is orange and sometime the color look alike.

I love the Tampax compact and so does my daughter! We can fit them in our pocket, purse, bookbag or pocket of my work uniform! They are so discreet and easy to use! The best part is that we get to share such an important part of being a girL!

Best Tampon on the market
Tampax Pearl Tampons are easy to use, comfortable and provide the best protection in my opinion. The ridges on the applicator make it easy to hold onto. I am so glad that they came up with the idea for these.

I feel that tampax pearl is a lot easier to use than some of the other brands out there, such as when it comes to insertion and comfort. I would definitely recommend tampax pearl to other tampon users.

I usually use the super or super plus, to be more assured of protection. This is the only brand I will buy. If I cannot find the pearl ones, then I usually will go to another store or settle for the cardboard, but by far best product I have ever used for its purpose!

I have been using Tampax Pearl since it was introduced. No tampon can compare as far as comfort, protection and discretion. Most other tampons I can feel all day and have an odd smell when removed. I've never had that problem with the Pearl. I don't feel it and it even protects when I work an 8-hour shift with no restroom break. Not to mention that the wrapper is not crinkly plastic, so no one else has to know. Definitely the best tampon I've used and the best value for the money.

I usually use pads and switched to Tampax pearl recently. My tampon started leaking quite a lot even before it was full. A big portion of it was still unused and it started leaking within a few hours. I have used different absorbency of the same product but I always get the same result.

I have lived in humid climates, and cardboard applicators do not hold up - the humidity expands them and you cannot release the tampon from the applicator!!! I will only use Tampax Pearls!!!!

Tampax Pearl is by far the best tampon on the market for absorbency especially on those heavy days when you are on your period and busy on the move. For greater confidence to wear even at bedtime to avoid those embarrassing overflows on your sleepwear or your bedding. I prefer the Pearl plastic applicator instead of cardboard for easier insertion.

I love using the tampax pearls they are the best. I recommend them to everyone! Once you start using them you won't go back to anything else! If you are on the go like I am, I love how they have the pearls compact.

Tampax pearl plastic are my absolute favorite! I always use them for my period everytime! I don't feel the need to ever look for a new product when nothing could be better!

I love how smoothly the applicator is for insertion, and how it operates! The cardboard ones can get "jammed" and you have to wiggle the two pieces, but not with Pearl!

I have found that even though Tampax Pearl may cost a slight amount more than other brands or even other types of Tampax it is well worth the cost. You save that money on ruined clothing since it prevents leaks unless you disreguard the instructions and leave it in for too long.

The Pearl tampons are great! MUCH better than the cardboard. They slide very easily and have a great no slip grip for easy application. When your done, just slip the applicator back into the plastic wrapping for discrete disposal.

My Experience With Tampax Pearls
I love Tampax Pearls. They work great and they are so cute and compact. Its no longer embarrassing to have others see feminine materials. Having a period is now clean and easy.

it works for its use, but it could be better made, the colors and smell are really nice, but the size does not help for heavy flow and leaks through.

I used Tampax Pearl exclusively for years. I loved it!! The plastic applicator halps make insertion easy and painless!! They are very comfortable to wear, and they offer good protection. The downfall of Tampax, as other tampons as well, is that sometimes instead of the tampon filling up, the blood goes to the string and you can have some leakage. My reccomendation is that if your flow is heavy, wear a liner just in case!
Overall, however, I would have to say Tampax is a really great product. It is really comfortable and offers good protection.

I truly was so happy when the tampax max pearl came out. No more worrying about leakage while sleeping at night. I have told all my daughters about this product, which was truly needed at times. Nothing on the market that I have found compares!

I've used quite a few different brands of tampons and I prefer Tampax Pearl over all the other brands.

I have heavy periods and this tampons protects me for 8 hours plus!!! It is amazing I would never go to another product. I never have leaking and they are comfortable to wear. I dont even feel them!!!! Really great would recommend to anyone.

Tampax Pearl Is The Best !!!
Tampax Peal is the best one. i find it easier since its plastic instead of the regular tampax that are not plastic. i would highly recommend it to everyone. i always do because i know it works for me.

I was introduced to using tampons since I picked up swimming about 5 years ago. It was the best thing ever. I tried many different types and by far, the Pearl is the easiest and no fail. Glides right in and no fuss.

While my favorite remains o.b. because it is more comfortable than your plastic applicator, tampax pearl is a close second for one good reason: it works. I've never experienced a "leak" with tampax pearl, although with some other tampax products the tampon itself will sometimes not absorb very well. This, however, doesn't happen with Tampax Pearl.

I've tried 4 different brands (including generic) and these are the most comfortable. I'm on birth control so my periods are usually light. But sometimes mother nature throws me a curve ball and that's why I lovelovelove the triple packs. The protection they provide is amazing.

This product is so awesome!!! I've never had a more comfortable tampon and I've tried them all. The application is smooth and virtually painless, it's a great purchase for beginners and others. It works well when swimming and playing sports. I was always a pad person until i tried Tampax pearl. I highly recommend them!!

I've been using tampons since i was 14 yrs old, im 19 yrs old now and am proud to say that I've been using TAMPAX PEARL since I was 17yrs old. Tampax Pearl is the best tampon I've used because not only does the leak guard braid prevent leaking, but they're very comfortable as well, and with the plastic applicator they're easy to insert, unlike tampons with cardboard applicators. I would recommend these to everyone that uses tampons.

The Only Tampons I will Ever Use!

I enjoy using these, since I know I am fully protected from accidents, and they are comfoy to wear all day, and evening. Easy to put in place, and I just keep them in my purse, or pocket, and good to go.

I have my daughter use them she walks around a lot and she loves to dance, with she other brand she just could not dance the way she like to she would leak through she cloths, With Tampax Pearl she has had no leaks and she tells my that she love the plastic applicator it is nice and she would like to use Tampax Pearl only from now on.

Tampax pearl is such a great tampon to use because of its comfort . I switched from regular pads to wearing tampons and I love the" barely there "feeling it gives. Its obsorbency is awesome, I even bought the multi pearl pack to make sure I am proctected correctl at any stage of my period.The comfort of the plastic appilcator when inserting doesnt hurt either.Great product and great buy.:-)

I've used these tampons and only theses tampons for years now. I've tried various "store" brands that say they compete with the Tampax pearl tampons, but they just don't know how to mimic that braid at the end for extra protection. I would definitely recommend these tampons to everyone and anyone!

I used the pearl super and regular for the first time and was pretty impressed. Very comfortable to use, I hardly noticed it was even there. The protection of the super could be a little better, but it is adequate enough to get the job done. My favorite feature is the contoured applicator, makes it very easy to hold and manuver. The plastic applicator is easy to use and goes in without any problem. Another awesome thing is the wrapper and how you can pull it apart easily without ripping up the thing, plus you can put the applicator back in and wrap it up to throw out.

I switched to this brand a few years ago and I have never looked back since. I had problems with other brands and had to switch and I made a great choice. The plastic rounded tip applicator makes for easy use. They are comfortable and the leak guard is an added bonus. I will never switch from this brand or type. Excellent product.

When I bought this product and try it myself I was amazed by how good it was! It's really comfortable and it feels like you have nothing. It's really easy to put on and really easy to get it out. I really love this product and it makes you period happy and hurtles. It allows you to do your everyday tasks and feel comfortable.

Tampax Pearl Tampons are one of the few brands I trust to protect me when Mother Nature comes calling. I have heavier flows than most people, so that is the only reason that I leak. Otherwise, Tampax wouldn't let me! i like buying the fresh scent, and I like that they come in Super Plus, which helps with my heavier flows. The pearl plastic design makes for super-easy insertion - other competitor's brands get stuck midway and leave me wasting them when they don't go in properly.

Tampax Pearl are easy to hold. They do not pinch during the tricky insertion process like cardboard applicator tampons tend to. The plastic applicators are much easier to deal with in general. I also like Tampax because the string is securely stitched onto the tampon, making over night use possible.

I absolutely lOVE the pearlies.They are so comfortable, they protect what they need to protect. My sister also uses them. When we were younger we use to say "Oh no! We're never going to use tampons!" But look at us now! I just don't like the feeling of pads any more. But the best pads I've every used are the Always infinity! So if you don't watnt to use tampons use the Always infinity pads! Your choice!

I like this brand of tampons. For the most part, they protect pretty well, and they last long enough when I have a long day at work or school and don't know if I will have many times for birthday breaks. Overall, I would reccommend these to girls not knowing what type of tampons to buy.

Worth Paying a little more at the store!!!
I was given a Tampax Pearl by a friend in a time of need and found it to be way more comfortable to insert and ware. Since then I have switched from Tampax cardboard applicators to Tampax Pearl, it is well worth paying a little more for.

Pearls are a Girl's Best Friend
I've been using Tampax Pearl tampons since i was 13. The applicator is mooth and has a small area with mini grips, so that your hand doesn't slip during incertion. I love them because they feel like nothings there, but i have the peace of mind to know im completely protected.

I love this product. Im a swimmer and hate that i cant go swimming while on my period until i tried pearl. It gives me enough protection for me to enjoy the pool during those monthly visits.

Tampax tampons are simply the best!
I have had problem after problem when using other bands of tampons. For example, I used to use kotex brand, however after purchasing 2 boxes of them only to find they were not at all useable, I was very upset. They had cracked plastic applicators, and had to all be thrown away. I was very upset. I have also had problems with cords breaking from store brand tampons. I will never switch from tampax again even to save money!

I love the tampax pearl. They are so easy to use and they are comfortable. The cardboard brands all feel like they are tearing me up and are hard to use nut when I first started using the pearls I was amazed at your product. Thank you so much for such a great product.

My daughter had a pool party to attend and she wanted so much to go in the pool. So, she used a tampon for the first time. Unfortunately it leaked within the second hour and she couldn't go in the pool at all. In her words it was the worst day in her life since she relied on the tampon and didn't have any pads with her. We don't understand what happened.

I have been using TAMPAX tampons since I was 14 years old. I am now 41. I have been using tampax pearl for a few months. In Jan 2011 I was changing my tampon and the string is the only thing that came out. I thought it was a fluke so I used another and it happened AGAIN! I threw that NEW box of super pearls away. Today I had the same thing happen again. The strings are not holding on to the tampon they just slide right off. This is rediculous. I feel like I am stuck at home because I fear going out and the string not doing its job AGAIN! This is OUTRAGEOUS!

I have used several different types of tampons. I never found one that I truly liked and felt comfortable using until they came out with Tampax Pearls. They are just right for me and my time of the month. I won't use any other ever. Thanks Tampax for giving me the tampon I was looking for all along. :)

I hate the tampons. the outside of the tanpon fells like its coated in some sort of plastic. Then the top has the same plastic stuff coming up the string feels so nasty.

I have tried several different kinds of tampons in my life, that is until I tried Tampax Pearl! I now will not use anything else!! I tend to experience heavy flow, and other brands leak so i have to wear a big bulky pad too! But not Tampax Pearl!! I love the smooth plastic applicator and just the over all wonderful product!!! I have tried many tampons, and the only one that seems to feel the best and last the longest is tampax pearl. It is amazing, they don't hurt, and you can't feel it like other products. When I go to use the bathroom there are no leaks. It is the most amazing tampon I have ever used and will never go back to the other brands

I absolutely LOOVE the Tampax pearl products! Since I tried the tampons for the first time in 2002, I've been addicted. Prior to using Tampax pearl, I never even used tampons, due to the fact that I never seemed to be able to figure out the right way to use them. Tampons always felt really uncomfortable, until I found Tampax pearl. My only problem is that I live in Norway, so since I moved back home after graduating from Emerson College in Boston in 2004, I had to have friends in the US send them to me. I recently found out that they have been introduced on the Spanish market, but they are yet to appear in stores here in Norway, which I really regret. I hope to see them here very soon. I am 1000% sure that they would sell really well here in Norway, and since other Tampax products are on the Norwegian market, why not Tampax pearl??

Poor color choices on wrappers
Why would you make the wrapper on the regular size yellow and the wrapper on the super-plus size pale gold (in other words, barely discernible from the yellow, even in the best of light)? Fine when they're separated in different boxes or different sections of the multipack, but once you take them out, it's impossible to tell them apart in a travel bag or purse.

I had to borrow some tapons froma friend well she had these pearls!!!! Wow amazing!!!! They are true in advertisments!!!! They really work.. no leaks ,easy to use!!! i will never switch brands again!!!!!!

Tampax Pearl Tampons are awesome! I use them every month! I have leaked with them before, but it might be my fault for using the wrong absorbency.....Try all of the absorbencies (starting with the lowest) and you will find the right one for you :)

I love the fact that TP Plastic is supercomfortable and no leakage at all!! with other brands I need to wear a pant liner just incase...) I also love the applicator! but I am not going to buy these again(couldnt wait until i finish what i have now, tbh) because i prefer biodegradables.

I have PCOS and mother nature isnt very kind to me. That's why I am very thankfull for Tampax super plus. They are extremely comfortable, hold A LOT and are super easy to "use". Give it a try!

I'm a post opp. transsexual male and have been for several months. I have worn my first tampon for over 2 months have had no leaks at ALL!! this product is all aces in my book!!!! Highly recommend that everyone try this out on there next camp out or long distance jogs in the rain!!! So much comfort and fun!!

Awesome for beginners or pros
I have used Tampax Pearl tampons since they first came out and they are amazing. At the time they were coming out, I was in search of a tampon that would work for me and I had tried several of them and nothing worked as well. These are similar to the Tampax Satin they used to have but with much improved protection. I think these are even better at protecting from leaks than the original tampax cardboard. I like that these mold to your shape and hold more than other brands and they are super easy to put in which is great for first timers who are nervous enough without needing to have a manual to use one. Trust me, I have tried them all including big competitors like playtex and kotex and these are the winners. Although its all going to be different for each person since nothing is ever one size or type fits all, at least start here and save the hassle of possibly wasting time and money. Not to mention the frustrations that may come from a failing tampon. Sleep soundly with the protection of tampax pearl and tackle whatever the day brings throws at you because you dont have to worry about a thing when it comes to the maintenance of being a girl.

I have always useed pads but in situations where I am working or out all day I decided to switch to Tampons. The first Tampons I tried were Tampax Pearl. I was nervous about using them and it took a few tries but I could go a long time without leaking and I loved them. But when I decided to opt out on a cheaper brand, Kotex, I've noticed that I was leaking within 4 hours or less. I just thought that I used the product wrong and I have been using Kotex for a while now. But I saw a Tampax commercial that said they worked better than Kotex U and I thought to my self...they are right! They do hold better! I say Tampax Pearl is the best tampon product and now that I am going to college where I will be like 10x busy, I'm stocking up on this product. I recommend Tampax Pearl for every teenager and woman. HONESTLY, this IS the BEST tampon product to use! :)

Tampax Pearl all the way!!
Tampax Pearl is the only brand i ever use. It is realiable and not to expensive. The braided bottom keeps from leaking and I never have had a single problem out of them. Great product!!

at least, in my opinion. I hate having to use anything but Pearls! Other brands leak or are uncomfortable during insertion or removal. These are completely comfortable, but you can trust them not to leak. And my first few days look like that elevator scene in the Shining, so if they can keep me from leaking, they can stop you from leaking. They are a little pricier, but one week's worth of tampons is cheaper than those cute undies that would be ruined without them. :)

I'm a very heavy bleeder so when Ultra tampons came out, I was sooo relieved! Ultra tampons are comfortable and help me keep my life as normal as possible. I don't have to be going to the bathroom so often now.

i just started recently useing your tampax products. Mainly the Tampax Pearl Regular an Super unscented Tampons. I also use the compact in those sizes in the pearl brand. For years I have tried using tampons but always had a problem with the cardboard tampons. They were always difficult to get on and I always had an issue with it not going in far enough before it would start bugging me and I would get frustrated and stop using them. Last month I a friend suggested that I try the Tampax Pearl brand. That is what she used . I asked her which is the best to buy. I went through almost a whole box of the 18 count before I got one on that felf comfortable. This time I bought the compact in the regular and super and they seem to be easier for me to use although I will be buyin the regular Tampax Pearl boxes for the regular and super sizes. However I still buy pads and liners as a safety net just incase my tampond gets full before I can get to the bathroon to change it.Like while I'm at work. I"m a cashier so I can't always get to the bathroom. and I use pads at night while I'm sleeping. thanks for a great product.

I went to Africa this summer and I took tampax pearl Plastic tampons and I am so glad that I did. I knew I had to take something I trust and used before. The two months I was there, I didn't complain about my period at all. I was very satisfied with the product!!!

But with tampax pearl I dont even notice. The leak guard braid is something that other products cannot compare to. I dont feel the need to constantly check and see if i leak with them. I don't use any other brand of tampon but I have been disappointed that I haven't been able to find a box with just the lites for a long time. I have been buying the variety packs that include all three but I would like to have more lites. The past couple months every store I went to didn't have them. Are they not in stores any more?

great product... packaging, not so great
I've been a loyal "Tampax girl" for more years than I care to mention and I really do think the Tampax Pearl is a superior product. I've had no "accidents" since using this product. I find it economical and easy to purchase the lite/reg/super packs but my one little issue w/the packaging is that the colors/label on the outside of the box does not match the order of colors on the inside of the box. When you look at the purple, yellow and green (in that order) on the front of the box, it should match the order of the product inside. It's too easy to make a mistake when grabbing quickly for a tampon.

These are the most comfortable tampons I have ever used in my life. I feel like most tampons get bigger and bigger every time you go up in absorbency but these, thought they do get bigger, are not obnoxiously large and uncomfortable like most. They are also very short in length which I absolutely love. Plus I never leak... Amazing!

My mother has always used Kotex tampons, so when I first tried tampons, that is what I used. I went years without ever trying to wear a tampon again because it was uncomfortable and they leaked. Then, I tried Tampax Pearls, and I have been using them ever since. They are very comfortable, smaller than other tampons, and come in several different absorbencies, including light (which I find convenient for the first and last days of my period). I very rarely have any issues with leaking, and when I do it's generally when my period is heavier than I thought and I used a lighter tampon. I have since recommended Tampax Pearls to my sisters and my friends over Kotex, and I would recommend them for teenagers especially since they are far more comfortable.

I love how I cannot even feel it while I am on the move. Some tampons in the past would be uncomfortable to get in or while it was in, but not tampax pearl. I use tampax pearl plastic and I will never use another tampon ever again!

Tampax Pearl Plastic: Awesome Tampon
This tampon is one of my favorites. I've never had any leaks with it and the aplicater in really smooth which made insertion easy. The leak guard braid was amazing, no other tampon has that. The absorbency is really good and the tampons its self molds to your body when is inside you so it's super comfortable. The only problem I had was that it was a bit uncomfortable to remove no matter how full it was, but everyone is different. Overall I absolutely love this tampon, I especially like the the scented ones. The fresh scent smells so good and makes me feel cleaner when I'm on my period!

So I just bought a combo box of Super Plus, Super, and Regular. I was very mad to find out that the box was filled with only 8 super, and 28 regular instead of getting 8 super as well. I even double checked the box to make sure I didn't accidently grab the wrong one. But no, it was the right box.

This product seems to be pushed at every opportunity - one store near me doesn't even carry any of the other tampax products right now. It's really no different than the others, but worse from the flushables, since these are totally not environmentally friendly. I won't ever buy these again.

Why Fix Something that Wasn't Broken?
I HATE the pearl products. They shouldn't just expand in 2 directions but in all directions- that would only make sense. I've been using Tampax products for 10+ years and never had any issues with protection until the new pearl line came out. The worst part is that Tampax is pushing these so much that nobody carries the old fashioned cardboard applicator ones anymore.

I've tried pads, menstrual cups and other brands of tampons, but the Tampax Pearl line is the only one for me. They have the best absorbency, the best protection against leaks and they are the most comfortable. As a woman with a heavier period, Tampax's products are the most reliable for keeping Mother Nature from ruining a nice white skirt or pants and that's a freedom I wouldn't have without my Tampax.

I am like everyone else. I've used other brands for whatever reason but or the past 3 years I've stuck to Tampax Pearl. ONLY Pearl, not even the regular Tampax. The Pearl brand is amazing. I never leak, they are really comfortable and I also love the fact that the paper wrap isn't there so it's impossible for the wrapper to break in my purse. I can never feel that I'm wearing one. Amazing! I'm even skeptical to try the new Radiant beause I'm so hooked.

The Best Tampon Insertion EVER ...
I've been using "Tampax Pearl" (plastic) tampons for about three years know. I prefer the regular (unscented). This is the best tampon ever created. It's so much better than worrying about a crazy mess of flow with pads. With "Tampax Pearl" tampons; you feel clean, fresh, and plugged. That's the point of it... This can be worn when jogging, exercising, swimming, ETC... What can you not do with them??? Thank You so much Tampax Pearl for your successful tampon, it gives me reassurance every time "the time of the month" roles around. Keep on producing and selling; b/c your tampon will never get old to me; well maybe when i hit menopause :) ha ha ha

I'm happy that Tampax Pearl is always available in a box of Lites. And they are perfect for me. The only thing I wish is that the applicator was longer so it would go in far enough without me having to push some of the grip in with it just to place it high enough. Because if not I can feel the Braided string. Overall great for me. :)

I Used To Be a Faithful Consumer, Until..
First, let me say how much I used to truly adore Tampax Pearl.
After being held hostage by pads (and even good pads aren't really all that great), I discovered Tampax Pearl at the outset of the product. I liked the advertising. It felt like they were really pushing something different. I tried them, and loved them! I had no issues with the product at all until earlier this year.
Something happened to the Super Plus applicators. I used to be able to insert them in the middle of the night, half asleep, with the bathroom lights off. Now, I can't hardly push the plunger wide awake, after a shower, in the bright lights of my bathroom. It is SO frustratingId. So much so, that I recently switched products.
I thought that perhaps I had just received a bad batch (you know, an imperfect box), so I foolishly purchased another. Same problem. So that's more money wasted. I am so hurt, because I happily told all my girlfriends how much I loved your product.

I hate the pearl tampon applicator. I prefer the cardboard applicator. The pearl applicator is too short and most of time it gets wet and slippery so that you can not get it to work properly. So you end up with the half of the tampon sticking out. I think they are more expensive then the cardboard applicator and it does not even work as well.

I like the round applicator but the Tampax is not good. I like the Tampax that is in the cardboard. The pearl Tampax has a weak string and it's not strong and hard to find. I use the superplus and the Tampax doesn't absorb as well as the cardboard Tampax. The pearl I end up leaking.
I've been using Tampax brand through out my life but the pearl I do not like. I'm going back to the cardboard of Tampax.

I used to love the Tampax pearl line but since the release of the new anti-slip grip feature - I've been completely disappointed. I can't be the only one whose fingers can't seem to grip the applicator, can I?
Please return to the old grip or it's time for the P&G packaging folks to go back to the white board on this one because this one is not working!

I hardly ever write reviews but I have to say this product got my attention! And guess what? The commercials are right, they do protect better than U by kotex! I'm a swimmer so tampons are a must, and I have tried my fair share of tampons and I have to say that out off the ones I've tried these work the best, they go in and stay in, have no leaks, the wrappers are quiet and I'm just absolutely in love with this product! They never hurt going in or coming out, and stop blood flow nicely :) I definitely recommend these for any athlete or non-athlete that wants good protection that lasts!

Now I Truly am a Queen!!!
Tampax Pearl is very comfortable, which is the first thing I noticed. It caused me no irritation, and it formed to my body movements, so I had no ackward moments at any point in my day. The application is so simple, just 3 little steps...(boom, boom boom) The fresh scent is so refreshing!!!! I love this product, which is what inspired me to view these horrible times as moments where I am royalty, for I can wear the freshest JEWLERY all day!!!

Great for first time tampon users!
I have never used tampons before so I was recommended to Tampax Pearl and bought some. I always worried about it leaking and would it be comfortable to use and it is!! It's design is also made for easy use and I love Tampax Pearl.

I never write reviews, but felt compelled to since these are a lifesaver. Having ridiculously heavy periods can shut down your life, but at least with these I have 1.5-2 hours of freedom on my worst days. This is a big deal for me compared to past (bad) experiences with other products. I'd give them 5 stars for protection if they had a product above Ultra, but these are by far the best that's available for now.

I've been using Tampax Pearl for about three or four years now and I can honestly say that I never want to use any other brand again! Pearl is so comfortable and the protection that they give is awesome! Honestly, I don't even feel like I'm on my period when I'm wearing these. Also, the applicator is so smooth, it slides right in. The packaging also smells REALLY good! I can go about my normal day for HOURS and not have to worry about leaking or feeling uncomfortable. I would most definitely recommend trying these if you haven't already.

Applicator grip make application difficult for me
When Tampax shortened the cardboard applicator and added a grip feature, I was no longer able to insert the product effectively, so I switched to the Pearl product. It seems a grip has recently been added to the Pearl tampon applicators, as well. Again, I am unable to effectively insert the product due to the grip feature. For me, the grip is a problem for two reasons. First, it MUST be gripped for insertion, and this means I can't place the product as high/deep as I'd like. Second, the friction of the gripping/plunging action at the point of application pulls the product downward slightly since my hand can't go higher. This results in the product being slightly lower than is comfortable. I wish the old Tampax design was still available. I rated 3 stars because I'm sure anatomies differ and some people won't encounter this difficulty. For me, it's a major problem.

Why Not Use Biodegradable Plastic?
While far more comfortable to use, it bothers me that this applicator is not biodegradable (like it's cardboard counterpart). Biodegradable plastics exist. I don't really like the idea of my monthly harming the environment; why Proctor and Gamble can't make a tampon that is both user and Eco-friendly?

Along with the always infinity line of products, I will say that, for those of us with the heaviest of flows will find this product to be a blessing. Use as directed, and you will not be disappointed.
Sometimes I can't find it in certain stores, so when I find it, I always purchase an extra box. Quality has never been a problem. Please NEVER stop making this product. If you do, I will cry.

The plastic applicator makes inserting it soo easy The shape makes for easy setting in the right spot & the Ultra work so well for me & ensure's me of no leaks I can go most of the day & then switch to fresh one & continue on with my day knowing I will be leak free! Very good feeling knowing this!

I Always rather buy Tampax pearl rather than any other tampon. Brand or type. Other tampons are cheaper but Tampax Pearl are worth the money, simply for the great quality. They have a nice material balance so I feel that there is a lesser chance of Toxic Shock Syndrome when I wear them.

The only reason i am writing this review is because i have a daughter that will soon be starting her period, and i want her to receive her moon as simply as possible.
I will not recommend Tampax Pearl to her for the simple reason that the package is hit or miss when opening. More often than not the plastic tabs that should make opening easier rip apart in pieces when in use. Bad timing.
I'm more inclined than ever to recommend the diva. Till then i'm recommending Kotex all the way. The comfort and protection levels are the same between Tampax and Kotex, but packaging leans in strong favor to Kotex.

Designed by someone who doesn't use the product. Tiny small/narrow ribbed area for fingers to hold while inserting, makes it almost impossible to hold while pushing in with the pressure required to release insert into body. The end result is very messy fingers and sometimes requires two hands to insert as a result. The wetter the fingers get the worse it becomes. Disgusting process that is unnecessary! Simple design flaw, otherwise tampon itself works great! Won't buy again until applicator grip is changed.

These were easy to put in, I had no leaks, and couldn't feel it at all. Not the most comfortable thing in the world to take out, but not terribly painful either. Overall, I like these, and I will probably be buying again.

Worst applicator design!!!
There is nothing to grip onto at the end of the applicator, making it almost impossible to insert. Obviously, designed by a graphic designer on a computer screen, and not designed for practical use! I've used tampons for 20 years and this is the worst design ever. I will never, ever buy Tampax again!

I swear by all of the tampax pearl tampons!
My mom bought me a package of these when I first asked her to wear tampons and at school one day I started my period and put a light flow in and it lasted for the rest of the day. The leak guard braid was a fantastic idea and I swear these tampons have a mind of their own because they are completely comfortable and effective at the same time! I used to hate my period but now I have no problem with it because of these tampons! If you are trying to insert it and it won't go in just relax!!!!! Once you get it in right you won't feel a thing! These are the best tampons ever!

I'm so glad they came out with these, my menstrual is so heavy for the first 24 hours that I was having to wear a tampon and pad, and changing both every 30 minutes to an hour... but then I found these, and they have helped keep my from spending over half of my day in the restroom!!! Difficult to get in, even worse to get out
Plastic applicator was smooth to insert but impossible to grip in order to actually slide the tampon itself in. Ended up having to try again, hands soaked...very messy and uncomfortable. Taking it out was also highly uncomfortable, despite its level of fullness. Compared to other tampon brands I've used before, it ranks dead last. Not recommended and I don't think I'll even bother finishing the box. It's just not worth it. Pick a good brand and enjoy it, ladies!

This is the ONLY product that allows us to live like halfway normal people during our periods. And it is so much better than trying to wear two super plus at once--I, too, know that feeling.

Tampax Pearl works amazingly!
I've been using tampons for a couple years now and for the longest time I was using another brand and had almost consistant leaking. I decided to try something new and the Pearl attracted me along with the "Anti-Leak Braid", so I tried it. I LOVE them! I can now go out without a liner and be worry free! Fits well for petite girls, but removal is slightly uncomfortable
I'm short and slender, so I knew I wouldn't even do well with regulars. So I went out and bought these, my first tampon, because they said insertion was smooth and easy. I was eager to try them, and the insertion was easy and comfortable thanks to the trusty instruction paper that came with the box.
I left in in for three and a half hours, because I was about to go to sleep, and it was a little uncomfortable. It didn't hurt or anything, but I had to tug in a little until it just popped out. I don't know if I left in in for too short amount of time, but come on. I got LIGHTS. Wouldn't three hours worth (on my heaviest, yet notably not that heavy, day) be enough to lubricate it enough for a smoother removal?
Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. I barely felt it, and it kept me nice and clean (:

Didn't work so well for me
I have had trouble finding a comfortable tampon all the years I have been using them. My periods are heavy and I always have to use a pad and tampon on heavy days. I usually get the tampax radiant but I decided this time to get the multipack tampax pearl. Even though I always feel slight discomfort wearing the radiant ones, the pearl ones were even more uncomfortable to me.

I've never been a tampon user before. I tried it on a whim because working out while wearing a pad is just plain uncomfortable! It did feel a bit uncomfortable at first. But I assume that was simply because I wasn't use to it. I've tried it a couple more times and so far I'm sold. I'm use to the feeling. I haven't noticed any leak problems. I threw on a liner just incase, but so far so good!

WOW. Comfy and protected!
I'm only 5'1" and I'm pretty thin. I know that i can't use any tampons that have a higher absorbency than lite because I'm too small for it. Tampax Pearl Lites are my favorite tampons because they are the most comfy, and have amazing protection. My first couple of times using them I had to wear a liner because I was scared about leaking! But I didn't realise that the leak guard actually works! So no stains for me! Definitely recommend this product.

BEST TAMPON IN THE WORLD!
This is the only and one of the most reliable tampons i use. these can be had to find but once you find them, they are very worth it. these can leak for me after about 4-5 hours. but these are some of the most easiest tampons to insert. overall grade 95%.

These tampons are a godsend. tampax finally came out with ultra absorbency when i was a freshman in high school. Ive tried other brands and they aren't absorbent enough for me. I had a super heavy flow back then, and when your not able to get to the bathroom as often as you'd like these and a liner or pad works wonders. The only improvement i would suggest is make the grip on the applicator a little better. I haven't had any problems with major leaks, if i know i wont be able to change in 4 hours or so ill wear a liner and that does the trick. you cant go wrong. a good buy for your money.

Best protection for true heavy flow
I am very pleased with this product as I use this and always overnight pads for my flow. It keeps me from having accidents or changing every hour or two. 3 hours max with pad. I need something more for the night plus it seems that they have decreased the absorbency recently.

This is the first tampon I ever used and it's still the best.
It's really easy to inset, comfy, and protects well. I can use it for every day of my period except my 1-2 heaviest days.
I have problems finding them in stores, which is annoying. I can only get them in multi-packs, but I don't use the supers, and only the odd regular, so the multi-packs aren't a good buy for me.
I stock up when I do find them.

My daughter had a swim meet today and had tried other brands during the week that did not fit her petite size. Thank you Tampax for being the only brand to make such a small tampon. She was able to compete in her Championships!

This product is a "God Send" as the Super Plus doesn't cut it for me anymore. Thank you Tampax for making these and please make them available in stores again. I ordered 13 boxes to get free shipping so I'll be good for awhile, but other women should be able to get their hands on these.

Love these! As a teacher, I do not have easy access to a RR all day, so these are great for super heavy flow! However, I'm more partial to the original cardboard applicators, and I wish the Ultra was available in that style. These are the only plastic ones I buy.

Nice but I can feel the braided string
Bought the 36 counts of regulars. Tried them for the first time yesterday. Pretty easy to insert. Can't comment on leakage because my flow wasn't extremely heavy being that it was the first day of my cycle. The tampon itself is nice, goes in without a struggle and comes out without a struggle. But I could feel the leak guard braid which was quite uncomfortable for me personally. Im trying this brand because the brand I usually use I constantly have extremely leakage with it.. Overall I like the tampon besides being able to feel the braid.

Today I was going to use my first tampon and this turned out great. At first I couldn't get it in but later on I tried and it finally went in. It was super comfortable and the leak braid made sure I had no stains. When I took it out it was a breeze. Great for first timers! Thanks tampax!

Perfect for those extra heavy days
I never had a heavy period until after I had our daughter. I'm so happy Tampax came out with the Ultra to give me a bit more protection during the day. I really wish they had the compact size Ultra absorbency though.

I have been using Tampax pearl since I started my period 12 years ago. However lately I've noticed that it is hard for me to grip the tampon when inserting and plenty times the tampon will slip from my fingers or I accidentally punch myself. I just feel as though I have to do too much just to insert a tampon. And I now use Kotex because their applicatiors have a rubber grip which is so easy and convenient to use

the wrong tampons were in the box
I love using tampax pearl tampons. But this month when i got my cycle. Something was different about the tampons. I just opened a brand new box of tampax pearl ultra tampons. I thought everything was fine until i noticed i blead through the tampon within about 45 mins. Blood even got on my clothes. I always buy this prouduct and that never happened. I would honestly like a refund or a discount off my next box.

This is the best tampon ever! As a 40 something yr old teacher, you cannot keep running to the washroom every hour on the two heavy days, so this tampon is an absolute blessing. The super and super plus were not working longer than an hour but the Ultra went 4 hours and the panty liner stayed clean! I had read previous reviews so I decided to give it a try and I couldnt be more pleased. Thank you Tampax for giving me my "life" back. They are large, but the fit is really good and comfortable. I cant find them in stores so I ordered them online. Tampax, please keep making these and get them in stores for women everywhere!

pieces of braid come off in underwear
Has anyone else had this happen? any Pearl product I used (regular Pear or Pocket Pearl) has a little tiny white piece of string come off of it after wearing it for an hour and the little piece is either stuck to my skin or falls off in the underwear. and if you don't remove it then it falls out of your pants eventually!!!!!!

I love Tampax pearl so much better than other brands of tampons. They go in really easily and are actually comfortable. Other brands are uncomfortable but Tampax Pearl fits really nicely and smooth. I don't get leaks either!

The most recent applicator change/update was a huge step back. It's been said by others but I'm going to say again...nothing to hold on to, it doesn't insert well, 1/4 of the time the tampon doesn't get pushed out of the applicator. Not convenient at work when I don't have many options. I've been using these for years but will be looking for another brand.
Plus the packaging. It used to so simple: purple, yellow, green. Now all the packages are the same kaleidoscope with bits of yellow and a letter R or green and a letter S. (I haven't been able to find light since the change.) It is not convenient.
Because I have trouble with the applicator & putting in, it is not comfortable. I almost always feel it & it feels like it's about to fall out. Also because of the applicator & the tampon not leaving it, it is also not discreet: I am back & forth getting new tampons. (Also not economical as I waste a good 1/4 of each box.)

Why did Tampax change a good thing?
For Tampax Pearl:
While I have no complaints about the tampon itself, I strongly have issues with the new applicator. The casing of the tampon is the same, which is good, but the wand to help insert the tampon is now thin, wobbly and sometimes doesn't lock properly. I most definitely wish the older version was still available where the casing and the wand were the same thickness. It just made for a much cleaner application and insertion. I may search for a new product since inserting the tampon is just as important as it being leak proof.

Terrible - want the old ones back
cardboard applicator has nothing to grip. Gets slippery, and nearly impossible to get the tampon to come out of applicator once it is slippery. Why did you EVER change from the old design that has been great for YEARS?! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! These allow leakage like crazy, and the leakguard doesn't work one bit. These are terrible tampons. So disappointing as I have used tampax since I was young. Am now going to something else; different brand. With all the terrible reviews, I would think P&G would go back to the tried and true old design.

The only brand with this level of protection!!
These are a life saver for me every month. Tampax Pearl Ultra is the only tampon on the market with this level of protection. The only problem is that not all stores carry them and the stores that do carry them are often sold out.

So, I decided to try the Tampax Pearl Ultra size, as my flow is heavier after having two children.
I was slightly apprehensive when I first saw the applicator, but found with a little patience (and slow breathing), I was able to insert them with little trouble. What really surprised me is how little I actually feel the tampon itself.
If you have a really heavy flow, I'd definitely suggest giving the Ultra absorbency a go.

Worse product - bring back the old design!
I went through a box in 2 days because half of the applicators failed on me. It took me 5 tries in one "sitting" because of malfunctioning applicators. I have ALWAYS used Tampax Pearl and the old purple/yellow/green design and those were great, but now - I will NEVER spend another CENT on TAMPAX products. I've gone to LOLA - designed/made/and run by WOMEN - and AFFORDABLE! Not TAXED like these terrible tampons.

I love how easy to use they are & the plastic applicator makes them soo easy to insert !! & I know I won't have any leaks!!! Comfortable in position & easy to remove & discard !!! I know with the Tampax name on it it is well made & thought out the plastic applicator is very smooth easy to use & to set the tampon in place I know that I have a well made tampon in me & that keeps my confidence high of have a no leak day!

As your site explains, it is important to chose the smallest tampon necessary for your flow. As someone who can have a 2 week long low flow period, I NEED these lite tampons. It has been increadible frusteratingId to see local stores take the big box of lites off their shelves. If I could buy a BIGGER box, I would! But instead stores are not offering this product any more in favor of offering mulitpack boxes. Those boxes are pointless to buyers like myself who rarely use Supers. Please do not get ride of this product!

Please do not ever discontinue
I see a lot of tampon companies that are discontinuing their "lite" tampons and some that do not even have "lite" as an option... Tampax gets it..... NOT ALL WOMEN BLEED A RIVER!! Let me tell you, if your on birth control, it makes your period shorter and lighter. I hate wearing pads so I have to use a lite tampon. And Tampax is literally the only brand anymore that carries them. So. Please. Please. Please. Do not discontinue them. EVER.

Can honestly say whoever invented the shape of these must have been a man! I feel like my insides are being pulled out trying to remove these they are so uncomfortable! They dont sit right so flow is concentrated to one side & causes leakage & frequent changes much prefer original design only good thing is soft plastic applicator combine that with old style and will be a winner!

Have had to toss 2 of every 3 tried just to get the thing to come out of the applicator and even then had to start over because they are so short they are not securely in place. Feels uncomfortable. What was wrong with the predecessor? They were GREAT!

I am 44 years old and have just discovered Tampax Pearls Ultra. For.so many years I had to use super plus AND a super duty pad during the first half of my period. NOW.....one Pearl Ultra lasts me all day with no backup. No more getting up in the middle of the night to check/change..

Absorbency beats OB Ultra and Playtex Ultra!
Absolutely love this product! Tried them out when OB had discontinued their ultra and was extremely pleased with the protection! When OB came back on shelves their protection didn't seem the same as it was before. I decided to stick with these - for me they are the best ultra absorbency in the industry! I would love to have this absorbency level available throughout the Caribbean so please consider exporting it!!!

Only tampon good on my first day
Tampax ultra is the only tampon absorbent enough to let me sleep through the night on my heaviest day. Super and super+ are almost identical in their absorbency and are barely sufficient for those who have heavy flows. Ultra tampons let me go about my life normally without having to double up with smelly uncomfortable pads or bathroom visits every hour or two.

Warning- TMI, and I apologize.
The Tampax Pearl Super Plus seriously saves me every month. I am a heavy bleeder. I go through one of the Super Plus Tampons in an hour on a heavy day. The backup cord saves me from having horrible accidents. I am so thankful for having these tampons in my life. Thank you for making a product I can have confidence in and allowing reassurance of me not having a huge mess!

I generally buy generic brand tampons. But decided to try these. The products feel and smell was great but the protection was horrible. Granted I understand different factors can cause things to not always working as expected. In this case though I feel that stating this product can protect up to 8 hours is false claim. At best I got 4 hrs. I could understand a claim of 8 if the average was in fact 6 or 7 hours. But to state 8 is reaching. These tampons vs the generic ones I usually buy do smell and feel better. The generic ones however protected me better.

It's great if you can get it in....
The tampon itself has great absorbency, but the applicator doesn't work well. With the latest box that I have, about 1 in 3 of the applicators actually work. So, you get to choose from throwing away a perfectly good tampon because it didn't push all the way out of the plastic body or pull out the actual tampon and insert it by hand in order to not waste money. I won't be buying these again, I'll stick to the cardboard one, the applicator is a sure shot.

The tampon grip does not help push in the tampon. I have too use both hands, I bought these by accident, since I always use Tampax Radiant. I don't know why i am having issues with this product, Tampax Radiant i have no problems inserting the tampon. I was in Oxnard when i purchased, it was an emergency purchase.

The plastic applicator is so nice compared to those cheap cardboard ones especially with comfort my favorite brand ,used to use pads as a kid but liked these more till I had a kid than used pads for a while used cardboard tampons for health until I could use these again no matter what I do I always find myself using these a gain

I have always been a Tampax consumer, but as a busy mom of multiples, I seriously have very minimal time. I do not want to be digging through my box searching for my light, regular or super! They look way too much alike now! Please change it back!!!

The shape of the cotton seems to have been changed recently and no longer provides leak protection for moderate periods. I don't find the leakguard braid protection to help prevent leaks. I now have to wear a pad liner along with a regular tampon.

Please Change the Wrapper Colors Again
It's so hard now to tell the difference between Regular and Super. With the new design change the colors look so similar you really have to search for the R and the S on the wrappers. You didn't have to think twice about it before when they had really distinct colors. Super difficult now when you keep them all in the same container or pouch next to each other.

I bought the triplepack for variety
I experienced some leakage, but that wasn't the biggest problem, as I always use a liner. My problem is the way the tampons are packaged. I literally had to empty the box to find the absorbency I needed.

Love the scented Tampax Pearl Tampons!
Really love the Tampax Pearl Scented tampons in both Regular and Super! The smooth plastic applicator makes inserting tampons easy and comfortable. Makes it so enjoyable to wear tampons whenever I need/want to. Just wish Tampax would make the Ultra tampons in scented form as well, then I'd really love these tampons even more!

I once loved this product and the ultra now I'm always having protection issues especially the last 2-3 months. I've been using this product over 10 years. I used to get about 2-3 hours protection without leakage and now I barely get an hour. I've noticed that the tampon no longer fans out when it leaves the applicator. My flow has ALWAYS been heavy so that is not what's changed. What's going on?

Hate new wrapping design!
I have been a faithful user of Tampax since my first need for them more than 20 years ago. They have always been comfortable and reliable. I have never had an issue until now. The new wrapping design terrible! I used to only have to glance in the box and grab exactly what I need. Now I'm having to practically dump the entire box out on the bathroom floor so I can find the right one. I have remedied that with putting each absorbancy in its own Mason jar. However, I keep all absorbancy in my to go pouch, so when I'm not home, it's the same issue. Yes, each one still has it's own color (green, yellow and purple), but the overall design makes it almost impossible to detect. I came here to see if anyone else had the same issue and also read issues with absorbancy. I too had notice some change, but thought it was just me. I absolutely loved Tampax, and I'm sorry to say, I may be trying other brands now that Tampax is no longer convenient or reliable.

So tell me why I go to the store and think I grab a box of Lite tampons because it's purple on the box and all the other absorbencies are sorted by different colors but no I grabbed Ultra. I can't even use Ultra on my heaviest days... You guys should really change Ultras color to something besides a darker shade of purple, like Pink, or Red. So now I have a box of tampons, that will never be used.

I had been looking for a tampon that's comfortable, easy to "use" and provides maximum protection and Tampax Pearl Ultra is it! I was going through Super Plus absorbency tampons every 30 minutes and always worried about leakage, but not with these! I can go out and do whatever I need to do with confidence because I know I'm secure.

Why did y'all change the size of the tampons?
Tampax discontinued their Slim Regular tampons that they use to have. This was very disappointing. The Active products were great as the regular absorbent tampons were very slim, like the slim regulars used to be and I could comfortably wear them. My daughter started her period at a very young age and could use the regular active tampons as well. I just bought two (now white colored boxes) 36-count boxes of active pearl regular tampons and the tampons are no longer slim, they are fatter. The box changed and so did the product. My daughter can no longer use them and they are uncomfortable for me now. And no, we can't use lite tampons, changing them every hour or two is unrealistic for a girl in elementary school. This WAS a great product, but my daughter and I can no longer use them and will be returning my purchase. Very disappointed.

I can't say thank you enough for creating a tampon for those of us who have an extremely heavy period!!! I finally discovered these a few days ago and am 31. (Sad I know, but I just didn't know!) I've always just went with super plus but was changing my tampon every hour on the hour! These are game changing. It may seem silly to say but I am very grateful for this absorbency!!! I wish I had known about these sooner!!!

The new package is poorly designed
The package makes it difficult to discreetly and easily toss away the tampon. I usually put the discarded plastic back in the package, but the plasticky packaging is too tight. Also, the print on it rubs off. Not only am I already uncomfortable and disgruntled because I've been wrestling with the package and not I've got blue fingers after it too.

On my heaviest 2nd and third days of my cycle this product for SURE DOES NOT LAST 8HOURS. On your heavy days no way you should want anything 8 hours. This product only lasts up to 1 hour on the 2nd and 3rd day of my cycle for years. Of course after 4th and 5th day you can wear these long as you want. There is NO tampon ON THE MARKET ANYWHERE that will hold any one for more than 2 hours on their heaviest days. There is no product on the market for that. But this is the largest size. I. Wouldn't be surprised if you need to make larger sizes. I STILL have to wear pad with these. To ensure dryness and accidents I'm NOT confident with any Feminine Product line without a pad all 3-6 days. No way id do it. It doesn't keep me dry and clean without back up pads.

I don't know how long these have been in existence, but when I stumbled on them I had no ideal it would be a life saver! I've been hoping that one day that a more absorbent product would come along for heavy bleeders like me who have to wear a pad and a tampon at the same time. Thank you!!!

Ultra works on my heavy day and nights no more mess in bed at night. And that a big help
To me . wished they were scented. Like the super plus. If you want to stay clean. This the tampon you will want to use please give them a try

I knew I couldn't just rely on shifting pads. Searched Google reviews on tampons and decided to buy these in Super Plus. They are surprisingly easy to insert and I can't even feel it once its in. The best part is that I don't have to worry about embarrassing leaks. Love it! Won't go back to pads.

Why the plastic applicators??
Tampax---WHY are you switching to plastic applicators??? I HATE THESE!! Please bring back the cardboard that i have been using for over 30 years. This new plastic junk is just that -junk!!! plus, when using this plastic junk, i no longer get the same protection as before. It's as if the tampon has literally shrunk. I do not like this product and can't find the cardboard applicators anymore. If i can't find the cardboard applicators, I will switch to the Diva Cup. Works longer and better anyway. Bring back the CARDBOARD,, Please.

My periods are so heavy. Nothing on the market had a large enough absorbency to help me. Tampax Pearl Ultra has been a game changer and I can have a life again during my period! Finally! Thank you so much!

Always thought super plus was the highest absorbency, I was so glad to find this. Sometimes super plus isn't enough but this certainly does the job for those extra heavy days. Ultra has become a permanent addition to the rotation.

These tampons are comfortable and discrete but leak so easily! When you remove the tampon you can see that it hasn’t even saturated the tampon. Won’t be buying these again.

The only tampons I trust!!
These are the tampons I search for every month! They last a while even on my heaviest day which for me is the second day of my cycle. These will keep you dry and able to do your daily routine.

I have used Tampax for 30 years. I’ve always been happy until now. The product leaked and did not absorb! I felt like I was back in junior high having accidents! Very frustratingId and embarrassing. I won’t purchase this again until I read that absorbency and leaks have been addressed.

Great product! Bring it back!!
I am so disappointed that it is discontinued and I can’t find it anywhere. This was the only product that worked on my heavy period days. I loved it and now it’s gone. Bring it back please.

This product leads to leaking
I had problems with this product when I was younger with constant leaking. I figured I would give it another try. Now regretting it as less than 4 hours and it’s leaking through. I have no issues with any other tampax products, just these ones. Very disappointed

I went to sleep in one of these tampons and I could not feel it, however. I woke up the next morning and I bled all on my bed. I don’t know if it was my fault or what.

Best tampon I've ever used
Tampax Pearl is the best tampon that I've ever used. They're so comfortable to wear when I'm having my period. I love the braid on the tampon. It keeps me protected from leaking but I always wear a pantiliner when I have a tampon in anyway just in case if I don't change my tampon on time except for when I'm swimming. I love using Pearl or Radiant these days compared to the original cardboard Tampax tampons that I started out with when I first got my period years ago. I've been a loyal Tampax user for over 30 years.

Love it....I’ll never look back
I’ve been using pads for years and it was always uncomfortable. Today I decided to try Tampax Pearl ultra and OMG!!!!!!! They are so comfortable. Easy to move around and it easy to forget you have it on. Great Product, can’t believe I’m just now using these.

This product has great features.
Very comfortable and lasts throughout daily activities. If you have a very heavy period, I also suggest the Ultra tampon by Tampax. This works well for me and my heavy period and is always the best clean up for unexpected surprises from the period fairy!

CHANGE THE PACKAGING BACK. It’s so hard to tell now by a quick look if the tampons are scented or unscented. I’ve accidentally bought scented tampons TWICE because it’s so hard to tell the difference between the two now. I can’t stand the scented tampons so as you can imagine I was pretty upset when I opened the boxes both times. PLEASE fix it!!!!

only tampon i can use with out making it feel like my lady part ks being peeled. very comfy. never any leaks and the wrapping makes its discrete no one knows what it is unless there a woman and the applicator is strong. never bends. by far the best brand ive ever used. so i can be leak free. comfortable while im active. i barley realise its there. well done.

Out of a whole box I'd say I was able to use less than half of them. I CONSTANTLY had problems with the applicator getting stuck making it impossible to insert. Extremely frustratingId. Will not be purchasing these again.

Ever since the packaging changed it is a battle to get the tampon out of the applicator. These have been my go to for years, but I shouldn't have to try so hard just to get the thing in.

The pearl string is AWFUL
I think the new pearl string makes more of a mess than the original. I wish that more stores carried the original. Those ones worked way better than the pearls. YUCK.
