I was hoping for something close to Starbucks' expresso roast. It was far from it.

I couldn't wait to get these K-cups, as Lavazza has always been a great, rich, dark coffee. If it weren't for the Lavazza logo on the cup, I wouldn't believe this is Lavazza coffee. Utterly flat, with a bad taste. If you're looking for a dark roast with full-bodied flavor, then order yourself some Bustelo, Italian Roast, or Dark Magic.

Expected a rich strong flavor close to espresso. It's bitter but watery. Missing something.

Lavazza coffee pack such an aromatic punch of heaven like no coffee iv tried before. If you are a coffee lover i suggest you pick up a few of these babies for your self and some for the friends and family they would make awesome christmas presents and or even stocking stuffers. The Founder is a man called Luigi Lavazza and have been making lavazza coffee since 1895 in Piedmont, Italy, witch explains there experience and quality robust rich flavors. If you do not have a k-cup krueger coffee maker do not worry they also make this brand for your regular coffee maker as well, they even have Lavazza House Blend Gran Crema Espresso Pods. This brand has opened up a whole new world for me in coffee and i am glad to have had such a great wonderful experience with this brand of coffee and can not wait for my friends and family to join me in this flavorful Lavazza

I am a die hard Cafe Bustelo coffee drinker. I will drink any type of coffee because I love it but LAvazza has hooked me. The espresso is wonderful and the smooth taste has me wanting cup after cup.

I got this product free to try out. I tried the Classico flavor of Lavazza k cups last night. I gotta say I do love the smell and taste of it. I invited some friends over to sample the coffee and we all agreed that the taste was really refreshing. Some of us tried it with creamer and sugar, others had it black. The overall consensus was that it was a really great K-cup coffee. One of my friends said it IS very European in flavor. I guess Italian coffee is the way to go! They sure know what they're doing! I received a free sample of this coffee through Bzz-agent and Lavazza to give my honest opinion.

Love,Love, Love will buy again and again
I received free samples from Lavazza through BzzAgent. I love the Perfetto Espresso roast. It is not bitter and does not leave an after taste in your mouth. The hint of caramel is just right. I am not real big on flavored coffees so the caramel was not overwhelming. Love this will purchase many more times!

I typically buy the extra bold, and I figured being called "espresso roast" that this coffee qualified as bold, however it has a very watered down taste and lacks flavor.

Best coffee I've ever had!
Lavazza Perfecto Espresso Roast is the best coffee I've ever had!!! I received free Kcups of espresso and classico roast from Lavazza to try and write a review. They are wonderful! The taste is a nice bold flavor that isn't overpowering but provides a sufficient amount of taste. Is not overpowered by my creamer, like some other coffee brands. Gives me a quick pick me up in the morning and is awesome enough to drink midday. LOVE Lavazza! I am a lifelong fan now!

This is one smooth espresso. I like an espresso every once in a while, but usually it is too bitter and I end up with more milk than coffee. This is not! This is a very bold, but smooth taste and I tried it without anything first it did not have a bitter after taste at all. Tried it with milk and some sugar and it was even better. This is my new go to espresso! *I received this product free as a BzzAgent.

I use this in my K-Kup machine. Singel use for on the go. Perfect. I love that it has great aroma, taste. Would like for it to be BOLDER in flavor. but that may be the machine and the brewing, not the coffee. I am stilling buying this after I received free samples.

I love Lavazza coffee and was excited when they started making K-cups. This coffee, however, is very disappointing. While described as having a "characteristically Italian dark flavor profile," this coffee is far from what I was used to drinking in Italy. I would love for Lavazza to come out with a true espresso roast.

It will ruin your brewer.
There must be a flaw on the packaging because every time I tried one of these K-Cups a lot of coffee grinds came out. When I pulled the K-Cup out of the brewer, a mixture of water and grinds spilled all over. I know it was not the brewer's fault because when I tried other varieties the coffee came out fine.

While this coffee was not bad, it was not anything stellar. It may have been the batch of k-cups I was using but the flavor of this coffee was slightly murky, almost musty or dusty. I doubt I would buy it again for myself.

I love Lavazza coffee and wanted to try the K-cups after getting a Keurig machine. What a disappointment! I love rich, strong, dark, bold coffees and I have to agree with most of the other reviewers that this K-cup Lavazza coffee doesn't come even close to fitting that description.

If you like coffee from McDonald's, you'll love it...
I purchased this after getting an email from Kuerig advertising it. I like very bold coffee, so thought it might be good. The best way to describe the flavor is "McDonald's coffee". I couldn't BE more disappointed. This box will NOT be consumed.

When I saw that Lavazza had K-Cups, I thought I was expecting a delicious cup of Italian coffee. Boy, was I mistaken! First let me say, I don't know how Lavazza can put their name on this; it's just terrible coffee. It has no flavor and it's weak. This is not espresso, I assure you! I wonder, do they actually do "taste tests" before they put this on the market? Honestly, if you made this for an Italian, they would be insulted and throw it at you! Italian's take their coffee very seriously, and seriously, this is NOT Italian Coffee!

I purchased this product thinking that an Italian espresso roast would be full bodied, flavorful and eye-popping in the mornings. I was so wrong. This is a weak, watery brew with little flavor and no stamina. Holding this K-cup up to a bright light and comparing it to the Barista Prima Columbian you will see that it contains much less coffee....probably 40% of the K-cup is empty. If you think an expresso should be strong and full-bodied (like I do) you will not want this coffee..

Great Flavor but not for the 2.0
I have a new KeurigВ® 2.0 K550 Brewing System at home and you can not use LAVAZZA K-Cups in this brewer as the grounds will end up in your cup. I have an older brewer at work and the LAVAZZA cups work fine with that brewer.

This is my favorite pod! I steam/froth my milk and add to 6 oz of this just about every morning. Maybe those who find it too weak should add less water...Like the 4 oz option? Anyway, I prefer this to "regular" coffee any day. If I drink regular coffee, I prefer a medium roast.

I'm with DashQuark, this coffee is mud
After reading several reviews here, including DashQuark's, I thought I could use the Lavazza Perfetto for espresso, aiming for small volume-high intensity. I was wrong - the Perfetto is perfect for nothing. What surprised me most was that Lavazza is a great brand and I have drank Lavazza espresso on countless occasions. The Perfetto is just not good in the Keurig. Don't read between the lines here, don't do what I did. Just don't get this coffee. There are too many other options to waste your money on this utterly bad product.

Looking for Quality

To enjoy this coffee you need to brew it at the highest temperature (less expensive Keurig machines don't heat the water as high as the others) and have it brew only a cup or the smallest mug. It has a warm or rich coffee flavor, but the overall effect is light or weak; like a singer with a great voice, but the volume is low. The coffee also has a roasted quality, not as sharp or strong as Starbucks, but it's there. I would not describe it as watery: The flavors are well integrated, but, as stated, light. This is definitely not espresso. That said, I am quite fond of it at present, but you'll have to take your best guess based on your own taste and how this product presents in the future.
