We recently put pictures up with these strips and they are falling off our walls. The adhesive is not staying stuck to the walls. One of the frames broke and we are not satisfied. The frames are 5x7 so its not that the strips cant hold the weight.

I just hung up 9 photos I have taken and mounted on poster board using just one medium strip in the center. It was really easy and even easier to move them around to change them...GREAT product. I can not wait to get more mounted to add to my collection.

new use for Command Hanging Strips
Another use for Command Hanging strips: a small area rug on a wood floor that slides around too easily can be anchored on the corners with hanging strips without damaging the wood floor. Rubber pads under the rug sometimes react badly and stick to the floor. Command Hanging strips remove easily and don't damage the floor.

The strips are good, and stays in place for a long time; but if you want for what ever reason to take the object then be prepared to get part of the wall too.

These are so quick and easy to use. I don't have to wait on my husband get out the hammer and nails I just do it in a couple of minutes by myself. They are also great for hanging things with not hooks for hanging, such as chipboard letters and canvas.

love the picture hanging strips
I rearrange our family pictures frequently but I always hated being forced to find pictures that were the same size/position or, worse, putting new holes in the walls. These picture hanging strips are great! They are strong yet remove easily. No more nails for me!

If you have a large picture to hang it it difficult to line up where to stick the the strips to the wall to ensure the will line up correctly with the strips on the picture but for smaller pictures the are great.

Love this versatile product!
The picture hanger strips are genius! You just stick it one whatever you want to hang (you can hang way more than just photos) then stick it on the wall! The nice this with the velcro is that if you didn't get it completely straight the velcro allows you to move the object a little in each direction until you get it just right!

Having just painted our bedrooms and large hallway, I wanted to make an ancestry display in the hall. After putting many hooks into the newly painted walls, I decided to continue my project by purchasing the Command Strips for my pictures. THEY ARE GRAT !!!!! Now my walls will have no holes should I decide to change the display, and I found that there was no trace of a strip in areas where I took down the pictures. I am so anxious to try the other products for my holiday displays, and I am very pleased with the Command Strips I have already used.
We have also tried another product with a hook attached. It is in our showers holding the Pouf balls. It has held up very well, considering all the steam that a shower produces.

I use command picture strips to hang up my dry erase boards to use during small groups. These are very sturdy and are easily removable. If I need to hang anything for an extended period of time, I always use these picture strips.

I use the removable strips to hang and display craft projects I do with a group of handicapped adults. It's great to have their finished projects where others can see them because they are always proud whenever someone compliments their work.
The only problem I have had is that every so often, some of the paint comes off the wall when I remove them.

When these products first came out I was very skeptical, to say the least. I did not think something like that could work. But, I tried it any way. To my surprise, I was proven wrong. It goes to show that anyone can learn something new every day. Since then I always have some on hand for all of my needs. Thank you for comming up with these ideas to make my life so much easier.

This is a very good alternative ...
I bought the value pack and used them to hang my wall pictures because I could not get the nails to stay in my wall. This is a very good alternative and as long as the picture frame is not too heavy, they hold up pretty well. I have two picture frames up now that have been up on the wall for two years. They don't move, are secure and help me to hang my wall decorations and pictures. I plan on buying more.

great for foamboard posters
I use these all the time at the office. We have internal poster campaigns frequently, and these are great for hanging our posters, which are mounted on 3/8" foamboard. Also great for mounting posters for presentations off-site when easels are not readily available. Mounts easily and easy to remove without residue. A fantastic product!

I hate trying to get the nail in the right spot so the picture hangs straight and is where I want it to be. I'm always off just a little. But no more! I hung a box of photos that have been waiting in the closet for years all in less than an hour. Now I have pictures all down my hall and I never would have gotten it done without these!

I found the picture hanging strips to be easy to connect to each other and to apply to the frame of the stick pin board that I mounted on a painted plaster bedroom wall of my house. They securely supported the board with ease.

OMG, I don't know how I lived without these. It would have saved a lot of paint jobs and a lot of mess. I love these strips. They are so easy to use and they work well. I have decorated the hallway of our home with photos of our children, my home office with photos, maps and other things which were so easy to put up, and when I did a few wrong, taking them down was a snap and it left no marks at all on the walls. That is worth the price in itself.

we recently had to remove all the items we had used on our old rv and put them in our new one. taking everything down was a no fuss or mess ,no tearing or messing up my walls and the new command applied to the hangers was a breeze, will not use any thing else! love these products ! i even use them to hold down small items on our counters in our rv, i just cut to size and apply. would be lost with out this product!

These strips worked in the sense that they kept our things on the wall, but when it came time to remove the product from the wall, "coming off cleanly without damaging your wall" was in fact the complete opposite. I had to use needle nose pliers to literally RIP the plastic off the wall, with a chunk of the wall coming off with it (FYI I had to do this 5 times) so now I have to pay to fix it myself to avoid fines. I am not satisfied with this product at all and will be sticking to nails from now on.

command strips are the best
I bought the command strips cause I'm sick of putting holes in my walls every time I hang something. I could not believe how awsome they are. I would rather pay the extra few dollars to put my pictures up than put another hole in my walls. They are so easy to use and I love how you can re fix the pictures if they are not leveled. They just snap right on and off. And you never have to worry that your pictures will fall off if you bump into them..

I am not at all happy with the picture frame strips. In order to keep from damaging my newly painted walls I purchased and used the strips. I followed the directions completely, even waited longer before I hung up the pictures and about two hours later, both frames fell to the floor. I almost lost the money that I spent on the frames,however it was fortunate that the frames did not break. I would not recommend the strips to anyone and I would not use them again.

Our family loves this product so much, it would really take too long to explain all the ways we use it. We use all of the sizes but find that we are surprised even when we have miscalculated the weight of something it still held even with the smallest sized ones.
Things We Use Them For:
* Hang pictures of all types.
* Affix remote controls to a central location where they never get lost.
* Hang child's artwork.
* Affix things in the car for hands-free and easy to access purposes.
* Affix MP3 players/PDA's and other electronics to work out equipment and other places for quick retrieval and their safety.
* Affix yarn/fuzzy cloth-made items to the wall or car.
* Affix something to a cloth/fuzzy surface (by putting the 'wall side' to the item instead of on the wall.)
(Options are endless.)
What makes it better than nails or other things?
* Pictures and other items hung never have to be 'out of place' because the items don't 'move' or adjust with time but if you want to adjust them you easily can.
* Easy removal for cleaning or use of pictures and devices.
* Easy removal means you can switch out pictures from room to room so they get rotated and enjoyed.
* Easy removal means you can switch out other devices or items to the same locations as the situation merits.
* The type of adhesive protects walls and surfaces from other products which cause holes, remove paint or gum things up with glues that are hard to remove.
Tips:
When you affix something with it please be sure to move it back and forth a little as you push in, it helps the pieces meet more snugly.
If you use it to do our idea of affixing cloth or things to cloth or yarn items be aware that the hold is really secure and only do it if you feel the item wont be snagged in some way. With our knitted items it doesn't hurt anything but we do carefully tug at it instead of just pulling.
Clean the area first and allow to dry before using on a wall type surface.
Allow some time, a few minutes, before putting an item to hang off of it and be sure to put pressure running your finger down the entire strip when you place it down so no air bubbles or gaps exist.
Sometimes putting the pull tab toward the top can keep it from showing if you're space crunched.
Place the tabs in different directions so that gravity or occasional vibration isn't as likely to effect the 'hold'.
Place the tabs in a single direction at the same locations from place to place throughout the house and only remove it and switch out things from the direction away from the tab. So if the tab is on the west side of the picture only remove it from the east. That way all the pictures will have the same pattern to follow no matter what their size and will be less likely to peel off the surface.
If you use it in a kitchen area for something don't put it in a really hot or greasy area if you want it to last longer. (Humidity could relax the hold.)
The only con really is that sometimes the little 'hairs' on them start to mash in a bit so just be sure to follow what I said above about wiggling it a bit as you affix the items.

my husband doesn't want me to use nails in the walls. so i bought command strips and I love them. they are easy to use and come off very easy. they don't harm the walls. i will use command strips from now on when possible. my husband doesn't care if i hang things now. they are the best product for hanging things on the walls.

I am a huge Holiday person and I like to change my artwork for each Holiday or Season and the picture strips make is so convenient to do so. The come off the wall so easily and I just repalce with new ones. Everyone who comes to my house always admires what I do and I tell them what I use and they are so impressed.

I used these strips to keep our white board firmly attached to the wall of our classroom. Easy, neat, and when we need to move the white board higher quick to remove. I've used 3M Command products for years and have NEVER been disappointed. Hooks for clothes, keys, toys, pictures on walls with decorative paint that can't be touched up, doesn't matter...I've always been pleased and rate these products as excellent.

Best thing since Sliced Bread
I have an older home with thick plaster walls. Hanging anything on the walls was not only painful, but damaging to my beautiful home. I was thrilled to discover the Command Picture Hanging Strips. Not only does it make hanging things easier without doing damage, but it also gives you the ability to move and re-decorate without having to re-paint the walls! I use them during the holidays to hang seasonal decorations, and use them in all rooms for photos, posters and even sconces. They do not leave a mark on the wall when you remove them, and they are very easy to remove. I highly recommend them.

I heard such great things about this product and the commercials made it look great but I bought it and tried to hang plastic picture frames and it compeletly took off the backs of the picture frames. I was so upset and now I am stuck with this dumb product!

Picture Hanging Strips - LOVE THEM!!!
I purchased these the first time due to the fact we purchased a new RV and we wanted to have pictures on the walls to make it feel like home, but we didn't want to pound holes in the walls, so I bought these not thinking that I would be able to put up very heavy pictures, but if any of you out there know how heavy a home interior picture that measures about 14 X 16 or maybe even a bit bigger is I have one up using 4 of these, one in each corner just to be safe, I really don't think I would need anymore than 2 but better to be safe than sorry. I also wanted to move a pic. that I had put up so I removed the strips and they came off as they claim, easy and clean. I LOVE THEM AND WILL CONTINUE TO BUY THEM!!!

Super way to get your pictures on the walls!
I created a wall of picture frames in the hallway. I was concerned that this was across the hall from the washer and dryer and that some humidity or heat might affect the adhesive and the frames would fall. Not so! They have been on the wall for over a year, not one strip has come loose from the wall or the frame and I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the results.
(I might suggest an investment in a small picture frame level. It fits over the corner of the picture you want to hang so you know it's properly aligned.)
I eventually put some tiny framed mirrors in the 'empty spaces' and when friends look in the mirror I tell them that's their latest picture on the wall. I put the little mirrors up with the small Command strips

I'm a college student and I always used command picture strips to hang things in my dorm rooms over the past three years. Cheap dorm rooms means having to be super careful about what you put on the walls but with the picture hanging strips i can hang not only pictures but other things like mirrors and stuff. Then at the end of the year they remove easily and I never get charged for damages!

Painted my living room accouple months ago and dreaded all of the nail holes again. Found the strips and will buy them for any future wall project !!
Do make sure that your newly painted walls have cured though before using. It takes about a month for that.

We had just repainted the whole house and didn't want to put holes back in the walls from the pictures needing hung-heard about command products and decided to give them a try. I love them Im going back to store to get some more tomorrow to hang more stuff. I am also going to get the large metal hangers to use as coat hangers at the back door so we arent having to put that big ugly coat rack back up!

Just what I've been waiting for!
Awesome product. I use medium and small hanging strips all around the house - No more drilling holes for hooks (especially important as the house is a rental) - easy to move, remove and relocate pictures - never had any damage to wall or paintwork. I now have ~40 pictures up on the walls.
And, best of all, when it comes time to move, I can just remove all the pictures, protect the backings with new Command strips, and then re-hang them in the next house.

Before purchasing this product I made sure it would work with the size and weight of my picture. I carefully followed the instructions on the package and hung my picture on the wall. Less than 5 minutes later it crashed to the floor, breaking the glass. Now I have to make another trip to the store to find something else to hang my picture and buy new glass. I am very very disappointed in this product.

No Damage to Kitchen Cabinets
I've been wanting to hang my special calendar frame on the side of my kitchen cabinets, but my husband handmade those cabinets and didn't want me pounding a nail in them.

I hung up all my pictures around my house and I have 100's of them great product and works great if you don't get it quite right at first so what just take it off and reposition it ....can't do that with a nail and who needs the holes in the wall!

I have old plaster walls and hanging anything on them was a real pain. If you put a nail in and put it in the wrong spot you would get a hole or it the picture was to heavy it would get a hole. Sometimes the nail will just put a hole in the wall and there is no way to fix it easily. With the command picture strips you just peel them off and move them. I can now have pictures on my wall and not have to worry about unfixable holes.

I used the Command Picture hanging strips to create a wall of old album covers. We haven't had a record player in years but still held on to these old albums that meant so much to us when we were younger. I loved the strong visual and emotional statement they would make. Command strips were used to make them flush with the wall and not harm the covers or the apartment walls. They were easy to hang and reposition. And most importantly, at holiday time we swapped out the albums for vintage holiday album covers!

Really, really love them....I have had pics of the grandkids on my wall for years and it seems they are always crooked and the walls are block so nails don't work well....these are perfect...I LOVE THEM!!!

I love these picture hanging strips. I love to hang pictures on my walls and if I were to hang all of them with nails, I would have alot of holes in my walls, these hanging strips let me hang as many pictures as I want and lets me change them around as often as I like without ruining my walls. I love them!

Great product! We use them in our travel trailer to hang our photos in frames. They work very well. It would be nice if a few extra strips would be included for when one needs to be removed instead of having to buy more strips. We are very happy with this product. We also use the plastic medium size white hooks, which we spray painted black to use in the shower, finally found the bronze medium to use for towels in the kitchen. All in all...our slogan is DEMAND COMMAND!!

Love love love these hanging strips! We use them for all of our picture frames now and they are working perfectly! No issues with them falling off the wall. I have used them in my childs room also to hang decor on her wall! I will continue to buy these products!

I used this product according to directions and used it to hang a canvas graduation picture of my son. I hung it in the stairway. It fell, ripped the canvas, and knocked a section out of my wood stair railing. The photo itself was $229. NOT IMPRESSED.

I just moved from an apartment where I could not put nails in the walls. I used Command Medium Picture Hanging Strips on all of my wall decorations. They worked like a dream! Everything stayed where it was placed and when I moved, it looked like I had never had anything on the walls at all!

When I moved four years ago, I had several pictures that needed to be put on the walls. I used the medium hanging strips and all of the pictures are still on the wal. Plus I did not have to drill holes, install nails or hooks, or attach any holders to the back of the frames. The hanging strips make it easy to remove the pictures for cleaning or changing .

I purchased a bunch of these last year when I moved into my dorm for college. Application was SUPER easy and they held PERFECTLY from August til May when I moved out. The removal is sooooo clean and also super easy. They pulled right off. Amazing!!!

I HAVE USED 3m PRODUCTS FOR YEARS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT i HAVE HAD THE PROBLEM THAT i HAD TODAY. I TRIED TO TAKE 2 STRIPS OFF OF THE WALL AND A STRIP OF MY WALL CAME OFF WITH IT. This was my first time using the Command Picture Hanging Strips, and I thought they were awesome. They were so easy to use. I love that you can re-position them if you don't get your item level the first time, and you don't have to worry about putting any more holes in your walls. This is all I'll ever need to do any kind of hanging with. I can't wait to try out your hooks!

I HAD BOUGHT THESE HOOKS, AND WASN'T SURE HOW TO USE THEM. THEN OF COURSE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER I GOT THEM HOME. WELL, THEY WORKED SO WELL, THE NEXT DAY I RAN OUT AND GOT MORE COMMANDS FOR MY OTHER NEEDS. NO HOLES IN THE WALL, NO MESS, THEY ARE JUST GREAT!! COMMAND, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE. I bought a package after our wedding to hang some pictures we go. I went back a few days later for two more packs to hate a mirror and a frame. Thanks. These aree great
Put one on each side at the top corners and it will hang really level and allow you to hang heavy thing. The mirror is quite heavy and it is nice level and sturdy. The best part is I rent so the walls will not be all messed up when I leave, which means more deposit back for me

Wonderful Alternative to Nails
My office was recently painted. As a reault, we were not allowed to put holes in the wall for pictures. I found these little gems! They have made my office beautiful as they are holding all of my pictures, including my diplomas! Thanks for a great product!

Perfect for a multi-frame arrangement
I had to hang a grouping of five small canvases, all of different sizes and at different heights, that required very precise alignment. Also, because the pictures would be only an inch apart, they all had to stay perfectly vertical - any tilt would be apparent.
So, these strips were a great solution. Minor tweaks to position and alignment were easy, and everything lined up perfectly. Trying to do that with nails and the sawtooth hangers on the art would have been very difficult. Plus some tilting is inevitable with sawtooth hangers as the balance is never perfect. (Of course, there's a Command stabilizer product for that, too!)
I even had a chance to check the easy removal feature. One of the pieces was initially positioned incorrectly, and removing the wall-mounts by pulling on the tab worked amazingly well.
About the only disadvantage I see is that the art is quite snug against the wall. I normally like a little more air circulation behind the art to avoid picture-sized marks on the wall after a few years. Minor issue, though, particularly since these strips aren't recommended for wallpaper and paint is easy to fix.

I'm sitting here looking at the two large brown spots on my wall. It happened last Christmas when I removed two large 3M hooks - you know your product that supposedly doesn't damage walls? It did hold my garland nicely however the nail holes that I patched and painted the year before that are not visible which is a helluva lot more than I can say about your product. I promised myself I wouldn't go that route again. It's been nine months now. I guess I forgot. I would like to thank you yet again for the nice big brown spot in my hallway where your product once again ripped the paint right off the wall. I followed your instructions to a "t". Your product does not deliver and I think I deserve a refund.

Damaged. Not damage-free.
Oh, my pricey purchase. Suggested by my new landlord to use your products was an excellent idea, although more expensive, UNTIL...I moved from the location when removing each type of COMMAND product I purchased peeled off LAYERS of paint and plaster from the wall's sheet rock surface. I was only saved from redeeming the cost of wall repair from my security deposit because it was the landlords suggestion to use them.
Because I used various types or styles of COMMAND and various weighted recommendations, I would like to say that SOME of them didn't cause damage, but sadly, they ALL did.
Effective while hanging, but more destructive than a nail hole that can easily be repaired with caulk or spackle.
My new dilemma is that I now have cinder block walls and can only hang things by drilling or have permanent echo. I won't use your product.

Hanging Decorative plates
I wanted to hang four decorative plates in my kitchen but didn't want to use nails or hangers that would be visible. I used Command strips, carefully attaching them to the back of the plates. I followed the directions on the package, and they have been hanging securely on the wall for over two months! I'm very happy with the results.

I moved into my home 4 years ago and have been avoiding hanging the pictures but last week I decided to go ahead and by the frames and the nails to just do it anyway. I have only used Command srips 2 times before to hang a wreath but sopmeone bought my son a Hot Wheels track that has to be assembled to the wall and it came with Command Strips. After I assembled it and relized how strong and easy they are I thought "hey why don't I use them to hang the pictures". So I returned the nails and used the strips and I am sooo pleased I did. It was so easy and pleasent knowing that I don't have to put alot of holes in the walls. Who ever thought of these things are a genius!!!!!

We move around a lot, and I hate putting holes in the walls to just fix them a short time after. These work amazingly! It is also easy to pull the pictures off and readjust them to make them straight if necessary.

can't live with out Command Strips
These are so great that I use them everywhere in my house. The best part is no holes in your walls, you can easily move things around and ajust pictures. I used them for a big gallery wall in my living room, pictures in my hallway, in every room they are holding up some piece of decor or picture.

I had received a few of these strips for free to try out from a booth and I hadn't really thought about using them as I am used to nails and a hammer for hanging my pictures on the wall. So I threw them into my tool bag and there they sat. When I finally needed to hang some photos up, I had NO nails! UGH! So I grabbed the Command strips I had, stuck them to my photo back and I couldn't believe how well it worked! I was thrilled! They didn't rattle on the wall, I could adjust them if I needed to, I could change the photos if I wanted a different set up, etc. It was so user friendly I was actually upset when I ran out ;) I will not go back to nails and a hammer for hanging EVER! Command strips are my new best friend and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them! :)

No designing damage here...
When I moved to a new place there was a clause in my lease that prohibited me from putting holes in the walls. Well what's an artsy girl to do? After sharing my dilemma with a store clerk she suggested commando strips... I will admit that I had some apprehension but much to my surprise it worked like a charm. It was easy to use and held my pictures right in place. But as an added bonus when I decided to change my pictures it didn't take the paint off the walls....Kudos Commando Kudos!!!

I highly recommend the new picture hanger strips to teachers! A colleague of mine recently introduced me to these little gems and I'm now "hooked!" No pun intended... I recently received a free 4 Pack of these from 3M. I was always skeptical about these because they look week to me. I thought that a nail or tack was always going to be better than something like this. After getting the free package and trying them out for myself...I have to say that I'm in love!
We currently rent...and are about to move. I wish I had thought to use these the entire time that we lived in this house...because going over and filling in holes from nails and tacks is terrible.
When we move to our new place...I know how I will be hanging my home decor!

I purchased the 3lb picture hanging strips to hang a few small items in my kitchen that weighed maybe 1.5lb. I hung these in the evening and by morning all 4 of the hangings had fallen down and one was broken. I am very disappointed in this product and the money I spent. Back to using the nails, which id prefer at this point so no more of my items get broken.

I used these strips to mount an under-cabinet light strip. It is a simple plug in type and not heavier than a picture, so I figured why not. it worked perfectly! Now if something goes wrong with the light I don't have to worry about damaging my beautiful cabinets.

I decided to try these instead of putting holes in my walls. They are horrible. I put extra strips on my pictures so that they would hold. Does not matter! I came home to find a very nice gift from my daughter laying on the floor broken. That broke my heart. They do not work on anything I have tried them on. And as I said, to be safe, I put an extra strip or two in order to make sure they held up. Doesn't matter. I will not purchase these again nor would I reccomend these to anyone.

I use these to hang ALL my pictures on the walls. If you want to move a picture you just remove the strip from the wall and use another strip to place picture where you want it. No nails means no ugly holes to fix or hide!

We just Remodeled our living room with real wood paneling. I didn't want to put holes in the walls especially if I decided to move pictures, so I bought the medium strips, these worked great the pictures have stayed on the walls with no damage to the wood. I love these.

I just used the medium strips that are supposed to hold 12 pounds for a picture that easily weighs less than 5 pounds. It not only fell off my wall, it ripped the paint and a layer of my wall off my wall! This is not the first time I have used and had issues with these strips. They have come off before when I've used strips that were supposedly supposed to hold more weight than what I've tried putting up. I will not be using these anymore. Never again.

So I received this as a free sample from 3M. I wanted to try it out due to the fact I really don't want holes in my walls when hanging up photos and decor. Plus the drywall in my home is impossible. It is so thick I bent 7 nails (Yes 7!) just trying to hang up a frame. I gave up and finally received this sample pack in the mail and it is soooooo very easy and helpful! In fact, I can hang photos while my daughter is down for her nap.

Holds my pictures really well
I love how I no longer need to use nails to hang pictures and how well they hold my pictures. I've been using these for years and never had one picture drop off the wall. They really do remove cleanly and they have never left a residue. I received this product free from 3M.

I have plaster walls in my 1940's home and hate hanging anything on the walls because it involves drilling a big hole, adding a plug and then putting in a big screw. And if I change my mind and want to move something, the plug will pull out a big hunk of wall when you take it out. I use these picture hanging strips on EVERYTHING in my house now. Can change my mind whenever I want to!

I had a plaque hung with command picture hangers. It fell off the wall and I wanted to rehang it with a different method. When I carefully tried to remove the strip from the wall, it took off the paint and plaster. Now I must repaint an entire room. Clearly, small holes in the wall are better than this. And since I have many pictures hung with command, I will probably need to repaint the entire house when I'm ready to sell.

I bought these to hang my daughter's puzzles on the wall. The puzzles are light and going on a textured plaster wall. They do not hold the puzzle up. I find things on the floor all the time. I am back to trying to find something that will hold her puzzles up. I am glad the puzzle was not in a glass frame or she could have gotten cut up by broken glass.

works perfect with this one trick!
After going through two sets of command strips and having my picture fall BOTH times I figured out the secret. Put the strip on the wall where you want to the hang your picture but WITHOUT attaching the other strip and the frame/picture. Let that one strip adhere to the wall overnight. Stick the frame/picture on the next day until the velcro "clicks" and you are good to go!

I enjoy taking pictures of wildlife, how quickly the pictures accumulate. In stead of playing woodpecker with my walls, i use picture hanging strips they are easy to use and you can hang your pictures quickly.

I love the convenience, but...
I have used many Command products, and I have been very happy. However, today at work, I attempted to removed my credit card swipe from the wall, and the paint was pulled off with ALL of the strip. This also happened at home, but I thought it was user error. My office is brand new, and now I have a huge patch on my newly painted wall. The card swipe was definitely not too heavy, the Velcro just didn't separate as it should have. Now I have to pay to have the paint touched up.

I bought these and they seemed to be okay for a few months. One picture frame came down in the summer and I thought it might have been due to the heat and humidity, but it is now November and another frame has now ended up on the floor. I am obviously not happy with the results.

Unframed Canvas mounts well!
I needed to hang my sister's painting; it was an unframed canvas and she had been bugging me to send a pic of it on the wall. I finally decided to use the 3M solution and now it is proudly mounted on the wall next to the fireplace...and my sister loves it that I have it up! Thanks 3M

Works well for frequent changing of pictures.
I find I get bored quickly with the way my rooms are decorated and like to move my stuff around pretty often. These help me from having nail holes in my walls. And they hold pretty well also. They are easy to remove and move around. I just wish that they were a little longer lasting as far as moving from one spot to another.

My husband and I just purchased a new home and we did not want to put any holes in our new walls so we decided to try the command strips to hang items. I was a bit skeptical these would work especially on slightly heavy items, but they work perfectly. I purchased medium and large strips to hang my curtain rods, pictures, and other decor items and they are holding perfectly. No holes, and they come easily leaving my walls still looking new.

I love these things! They have different sizes, and if you don't position it perfectly, you can take off the picture/framed item and easily straighten them.

Not Hung Properly? No Problem!

After years of struggling to hang pictures from a nail - this is an easy and effective product that eliminates all the frustration. I love that you can take the picture off the wall and replace it easily without having to buy a new strip. I can't speak to value because I don't know the product's price point.

I love the hanging strips. As a renter in an apartment the 3M products really are great for not leaving anything behind. I really like these strips because if the photo is crooked, you just adjust the photo until it is level. You don't have to worry about hooks being straight and photos being crooked.They have held up really well with all of our new photos. \

I received this product free from 3M to review. I have been meaning to hang some framed pictures in my apartment and didn't want to put any holes in the wall. These command hanging strips were easy to use and apply and have been holding up my photo without any problems for about a week now. I hope that they are just as easy to remove!

I got this a few weeks ago and wanted to try it because I hate having nails all over my walls and didn't know if I wanted to keep the pictures in the spots I chose. These surprisingly hold really well and even work on bigger, a little heavier, pictures. So far, so good! These are definitely worth the money especially if you want to leave holes all over your walls.

I am renting an apartment and opted for "non damaging" method of hanging pictures. When my partner hung pictures but didn't use a level I wanted to remove from the wall and rehang so the pictures were level since the command strips are supposed to be damage free hanging, I thought it would be no big deal. They ripped through paint damaging the wall in numerous places making the walls look terrible. I was particular in buying the higher rated ones to hold more weight than I was hanging. I even bought the tool box velcro hangers and used for a shelf that fell off the wall pulling through the paint (even some drywall) and denting/cutting through the linoleum flooring. So irritated and now I am losing my $2000 deposit.

I have finished my basement and it has block walls that are just painted. I wanted to hang my nature pictures up but obviously I couldn't just put a nail in the wall. Purchased these amazing strips and have successfully hung all my pictures up. You guys are the best.

No more hammers & nails to hang pictires!
I've heard about Command hanging strips for a while now. When 3m offered me a sample to try in exchange for a review, I jumped at the chance. \
We received some frames when I got married, but we never hung them because I don't like to have the same picture decor up all year round. With these, I thought it was perfect because you can easily remove the frame from the wall. '\
You do need a little practice because if you are a perfectionist like me, you need to align the stickies on both the frame & the wall. I found using a flat metal ruler was helpful. \
Apart from that, I am super glad I discovered these because not only can I easily switch pictures on my frame due to the easy hanging... but I can move it around the house and not worry about little holes in my wall.

I have been using Command products for years. At one point I flet the adhesives had been changed, as things kept falling off the wall when I was using them as I always had. Decided to try the picture hanging strips and they work very well, haven't had anything fall off yet. Also, have not had any wall damage as long as strips are removed as instructions indicate.

I generally love these products and will continue on using them over any off brand. But recently I moved into a new house and put up a small lightweight device on the wall and a few days later, not only did it fall off the wall, it took a huge chunk out of my wall where I cannot fully cover with putty to hide. Not sure why this occurred as I have never had it happen before.

My husband’s job relocates is a lot.....which means new house, new walls to hang pictures on. I have always used these command strips to hang my pictures. They are easy to use and easy to remove when time to move. The walls are never damaged. I love them!!!

More than just a temporary product!
I hadn’t bought these strips in a number of years because, lucky for me, they hold up! Recently purchased some for a friend who was redecoratingId and I was so happy to see that they’re the same as they always have been!

I'm so glad someone came up with this "genius" idea!! No more "holes" in the walls so it makes it easy to change your pictures around. The pictures stay put until you want to remove them, (which is very easy to do),and they don't leave any marks on the wall.

Instead of installing a single nail, you have to line up 4 separate super-sticky things exactly level. one sttrip wouldn't stick to wall and two of the three pictures I hung, I was unable to pull them off to adjust or ensure that strips would stick.

I bought this product to hang up small canvases over my bed. Went to take them down today and they tore a hole in my wall and ripped the paint off. Since this is in my college dorm room, I now have to pay a fee of over $50 for them to fix the wall. I'm nervous to remove the other canvas because I know it is only going to cause more da mage therefore increasing my fee. Truly dissapointed in this product. I trusted it on my walls and now I'm paying the price.

The only thing these strips are good for is breaking picture frames, denting the walls, and tearing the paint off the walls. I really despise these things. I have to buy new frames for my pictures and repaint my wall after trying to hang my pictures. There’s nothing better than hearing glass breaking when the strips let go and the precious pictures hit the floor. I won’t ever be spending another cent on this junk.

Backing Liner Does Not Remove Properly - Waste of
The backing paper does not remove properly. It actually left paper on the sticky surface that would not remove so the hanger was useless. Won't but again. I don't recommend anyone to buy this type of 3M product.

I'm shocked by the few negative reviews!
I have been buying and using command strips for years now. I've hung paintings, picture frames, shadow boxes, that contain pet memorials, small bathroom cabinets, heavy iron wall decor and the list goes on, without any issues! After reading some of the negative reviews, it makes me wonder if people are reading the instructions before use. \
\
To the people that have had things fall, make sure you're using multiple strips and that you're pushing really hard until you hear the velcro snap together. I've used as many as eight sets of the medium command strips, on one frame, before. It may seem like over kill but, it keeps the frame from falling off the wall. \
\
As far as I'm concerned, these things are amazing! Especially for renters.

THESE THINGS CANT EVEN HOLD THEMSELVES UP. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ATTEMPTED TO HANG A FEW SMALL ITEMS IN MY KIDS ROOM AND THEY JUST FALL RIGHT OFF AND DONT STICK TO THE WALL IF ANY WIEGHT IS ON THEM. COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!

I like these but sometimes they don't work too well. I used this size for a small photo I hung in my kitchen and not even 2 months later, the picture was lopsided because one side of the strips lost its stickiness.
