    Creative Use!
I recently purchased this product to hang a spice rack on the inside of my kitchen cabinet. They have been holding fast with 20 glass spice jars and the spice holder! Now my spices are accessible and I have no damage to the inside of my cabinets due to screws! Excellent!

    Heavy Hanger
I purchased a mirror to hang on the back of the closet door and much to my surprise it came with Command Hanging strips. I was not sure it would hold but now 5 months later it is still secure on the door. My husband was also happy because he did not have to drill holes in the door. I love Command hooks and the picture hangers too.

WE used these strips to have large pics and frames etc in our daughter's college dorm room. Made life so much easier and a piece of cake to take down. They're just quite pricey!

    No Dent's or Mashed Fingers!
This is the best product I have found in a long time. We remodeled a bedroom, turning it in to my new sewing shop and I hate putting holes in the wall. My daughter suggested using the command strips and they are fabulous. We used them on pictures, mirrors, shelves, anything that had to be mounted on the walls. When up easy, no problem to reposition an item, no problem removing the strip and no damage to the wall. This is all I will use from now on. Wish you had one strong enough to put up my granddaughter when I vacuum. Now that would really be something!

    Love your product
We bought a new home and I used your picture hanging strips for EVERYTHING. It was so easy and everything hangs straight and flat. I have also used all the other different hanging products for things such as wall sconces, wreaths, knick-knacks, plates, keys, and on and on. Thanks for a wonderful product.

    Happy customer
I have tried command strips and I am very happy and surprised of the results. I didn't think that they would hold some of the large picture in heavy frames I have. But to my surprise they hold great. I change my picture every football season. My noticial pictures come down and Foxboro Stadeum and Patriot player's go up. All I have to do is take down one picture, still using the same strip on the wall and leaving the command strip on the back of the frames and replacing that picture with another that still has a strip still attached from the last time I changed the pictures. So easy. And no holes in the walls. Thanks Command for making my life just a little easier.

    Best Idea Since Sliced Bread!
Command Picture Hanging Strips are a terrific invention. They're the easiest, cleanest way to hang pictures without destroying walls and wreaking havoc with a hammer. Plus, if you make a mistake, it's so easy to remove the item and try again. Also, the strips make it possible to hang things on surfaces where a nail or screw are unwelcome (like over metalbreaker covers or expensive doors). A fantastic and practical product!

    Best thing since slice Bread
I work in an old office building that has painted brick for walls. I needed to put up 2 large bulletin boards. I got the Command picture strips and used those to attach them to the walls. My boss couldn't believe that the bulletin boards actually stayed up. We use them daily to put papers on and take down to organize our work. They have been up for 4 months with no sign of coming down till we take them down.
Thank you for a wonderful product!

Command Picture Hanging Strips are great!!
I recently moved into a renovated, beautiful home, and was discussing wall hangings, pictures arrangements, etc., with my new landlady, as I didn't want to damage the new walls. She told me about the Command strips, and I am sold! They do everything they say they will, and I am extremely pleased!

    Be very certain! Strip non-reusable!
I started to apply the adhesive strips to the wall and the frame before I realized that I had to reposition two of the strips. I "pulled to remove" and it took quite some effort but they came off eventually. What I'm disappointed about is, once you pull them off, you can't reapply them again. The now stretched strips won't rebound to the original shape. So make absolutely sure of where you want the strips to go (on wall or object to be hanged, because once you pull them off you can't reapply them.

Otherwise, pretty good idea and pretty good product. The one other time I used this was for my corkboard and it's been holding up for nearly a year now. I still have a few other command hooks I bought that I've been meaning to put up.

    Awesome
I am totally nuts for all command products...I love to change decor frequently with different seasons. I can change a larger wall picture for several smaller ones and not have to worry about nail holes showing! I am more likely now to try hanging something new to see if it "works" in a room without any damage to wall. Thanks so much!

A love story in a 2 story colonial.
I saw Command brand picture hangers while grocery shopping and was cautiously optimistic. I purchased them and couldn't wait to try them. I was "hooked"! Command Brand Products, you have given me the ability to change my decor like I change my mind...daily, seasonaly, for holidays,or when I see a picture I must have. I love interior design and art and now can enjoy my passion without damaging our home(a constant source of friction with my wonderful husband). Thankyou Command brand. Your products are as much a staple in my home as my laptop, my home magazines and a glass of wine. I love you, my husband loves you...he has tears in his eyes.

Wanted to try the hanging strips out. Well, my father had passed and I put together a shadow box. It is a pretty large one. Got the large hanging strips, very easy to put up, it has been hanging since
Dec. with no problems. I also am going to get my walls painted, no more nail holes for me. I will use the small, med, and large strips for everything. Very very pleased

    Velcro Picture Hangers
I like the idea of the Velcro picture hangers and I like that they snap on the wall easily and don't leave any damage to the wall when removing. I don't like that there's no variety in the shape of the strips, some of my picture frames are oddly shaped and the strips don't fit on the back easily, if at all. Also, I don't like that they are one-time use. It would be great if there were replacement sticky strips that could be applied to the back of the Velcro so they could be used more than once.

    large picture hanging strips
I am a homeowner but, recently had to relocate due to military orders. I am now a renter and find the command strips to be the best option for not making damages to any walls. Specially now that I do not own the home it is important not to put holes in the walls that are brand new....

    Awesome!
These were great. We have a couple of large frames that hold multiple pictures and the large strips hold great with one on each side. I was amazed at how strong they were and they come off very easily too! This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone, especially with plaster walls that are hard to find studs through.

    Totally Amazing!!!!!!!
I work at a school, with brick walls, I was tired of using things on the walls that at the end of the year I had to scrape off the walls that left spots, and still didnt really work all that well.
I'd seen the command items but never really paid much attention to them, until I was in the need of a cork board. I remembered seeing command products on TV, so I went to check them out. I bought the picture strips, and fell in love with them. Was back at the store the next day to by hooks, for our intruder posters, for our windows, and door.
Thank you for some of the best useful products for so many different situations.

    Pool Accessory Holder
We used the large black picture hanging strips to mount accessory holders to our pool fence. We can now easily hang our brush, dip net, and extention pole outside the fence (so the kids will leave them alone). No drilling necessary and we can move it anytime we like. Great product!

    awesome strips
We purchase the large strips and we hung a big waterfall picture. We were first afraid that it was going to fall on our tv, but weeks went by and the picture is still hanging. We enjoy these command strips and have told our family and friends about them. These strips will save people money, especially if you are living in an apartment. No more holes in walls. It's about time someone discovered a better tool to hang up pictures and other items.

    I love command products
I actually love all the command products.

In this case I needed to hang a spice rack holder that came with our cabinets but did not fit. We decided just to mount it to the wall in the pantry. I am tired of trying to mount stuff on walls with screws, anchors, whatever. So i remembered I had some picture hanging strips and used those. It works great!
I use all the command products throughout my house and outside.

The small hooks worked great for halloween decorations on the porch!

Approached with skepticism - pleasantly surprised
We recently moved and having not put up many of our pictures in our last residence, we wanted a simple solution for hanging them and making it feel like home.

Both my wife and I initially scoffed that such small strips would securely hold medium to larger sized pictures in the 2-3lbs range and first tested it on a cheap frame that was somewhat heavy.

It passed the test with flying colors and we proceeded to mount 10+ of our pictures around our home. We even moved and reapplied a couple of them and they are still standing strong months later.

This is an excellent product for easy mounting of all sorts of pictures. It is strong, durable, and removes cleanly!

    Doesn't work
Bought these to hang pictures in my apartment because I can't use nails but now I have several broken frames. Followed the directions exactly, even used extra strips to ensure the pictures would stay even though they were way below the supposed weight limit but everything came crashing down within 24 hours taking bits of paints with them.

    Large picture hanging strips
Used the large strips on two light weight picture following all the Command directions. Neither one held and both fixtures fell wintin 4 weeks of hanging them. The walls are solid walls which had been painted 6 months prior to the hanging and are inside walls so the temperature is controlled. I use most other Command hanging products and I am very satisfied with them just not for picture.

    Command does the Trick
I had just remodeled my living room, dining room, and kitchen. Took down 40 year old paneling and put up drywall that I could paint. I did not want to mess up the walls with nail holes, in case I wanted to change things, so I got the Command Picture Hanging Strips. They worked so well I just can't believe it. I will recommend them to all my family and friends. I am so pleased!!! Thank you Command for this fine product!!

After my husband and I filled in all the holes and painted our living room two years ago, we did not want to put more holes in the walls. We used command picture hangers for all of the pictures and love them. My husband loves to take pictures and so we like to change the pictures in the frames often. The picture hangers make that an easy task.

I also love the hooks at Christmas time.

    Fail over time
I used these to hang a group of pictures in my new home. They are basically just a 5x7 picture and glass with colored tape on the sides so the weight is 1 lb. or less. I very much liked using the Command strips, it made hanging very easy. After approx. 4 months one of the pictures fell and the glass broke. I repaired that one. Then today I found another had fallen and broken the glass. I took all the photos down (7 total) and placed a nail back-up to save any more broken glass. They're fine for keeping a photo straight on the wall but I won't be using them as a stand alone mounting again. FYI It was the adhesive that let go, not the Velcro. This is in a new home with freshly painted new dry wall.

Horrible Experience - Don't Waste Your Time
We have now had 3 photos come off the walls (1 in the middle of the night - that was fun) due to the strips not working as advertised. The adage 'if it sounds too good to be true then it is' definitely applies here. I trusted 3M and thought they had a good reputation until this purchase; however, I will be highly skeptical moving forward. I would not recommend this Command Strip stuff to anyone - especially when hanging items that you don't want on the floor in pieces. Just a bad product - period.

    complaint
We used the large command picture tape exactly by instructions. We used 5 pieces to hang a 4pound picture. It stayed up for 6 weeks. I paid $100 for this picture and went to another state to get it. I also bought 6 kitchen curtains to match the picture. The package said the strips would support a much greater weight than my picture was.
Don't use this product if your pictures are important to you. I now have 6 curtains & no picture to match them.

Horrible. Pictures don't stay on wall!
Let's start out by saying I love command products. I have used lots thoughout the house.

Initially, I was pleased with this product. I used it to hang a set of frames in my living room and that set has done well. So I bought a ton to hang 24 pictures in my playroom. Not one picture has stayed on the wall.

I followed all the insturctions, even using more strips or a size up from the recommendations for added stability and security-it's a playroom after all. Some of the strips were falling off the wall by the end of the hour wait time. And some that seemed adhered to the wall fell off withing 15 minutes of putting on the frame.

I tried it again with another set of strips-paying extra close attention to the instructions-on a warmer day so my walls would be warmer (a suggestion I found online). Still had the same problem. Not sure why.

Definately will not be buying these again or recommending them to anyone.

    HANGING STRIPS
I am a collector of all things Goofy. In all the attached photos, I only had to use just a few real nails. I used the medium hanging strips, as well as several other Command products. I spent a bit of money, but there will be minimal damage to the walls if I ever want to change the room. Keep up the great work!

What a wonderful way to hang pictures. It does not matter what size or shape, with these strips hanging is a breeze. And I don't have to worry about holes in the walls.

    Large Picture Hanging Strips
Have really enjoyed using these. I have seasonal plaques that I change and have a set of the Command holders on the back of each one. It's just pop one off and put up the next. So easy and no paint damage.

    No more messy walls
My home has old horse hair plaster walls and it is not easy to hang pictures as I can't always easily get the nail or hook where I want it. But now I can decorate my walls without worry now that I have found Commands variety of picture hanging strips. It was great to be able to mark the wall exactly where I wanted to put the strips and know that they were level and then attach the other strip to the picture, put into place with no mess. And if I decide to redecorate (which I do a lot) I am not stuck with extra holes that need to be filled and repainted. Thanks Command!

    Large Picture Hanging Strips
I used them on a double picture frame that is really meant to sit on a table and they work great. They stick really well and hold the picture to the wall. I am thinking of replacing all the nails I use for other pictures with these.

    No more hang-ups
I used 2 medium 4-strip packs of picture hangers to hang pictures in my classroom. 7 pictures and a clock took me only 10 minutes. No more nail holes and no more bumped and crooked pictures. The biggest plus of all is that I can easily take the pictures down and change them out!

Great for more than just hanging pictures
I live in a dorm, so I'm pretty limited with the way I can personalize my room. So I used the velcro picture hanging strips to attach all of my decorations to my walls- without damaging them. My favorite was when I used a velcro the back of a bouquet of artificial flowers, and stuck them to a corresponding velcroll. Really cute, and no damage done to the dorm wall. I also hung a whiteboard, a phone holder, and my remote control on the walls.

No holes, no nails, easy to hang & straight
I moved into a new house that was just built. I love putting pictures on my walls but I don't like putting holes in my new walls. I also hate when pictures are not even, straight or the layout you want just doesn't work out. I have seen the commercials for the Command picture strips and decided to try them. I have anything from extremely large and heavy pictures to small wallet size pictures hanging up. Everyone of my pictures in my house is now hung up with some size of command products. I love everyone of them and they work amazingly. This product is very easy to use and you have straight organized items you never have to fix. Another plus if you don't like where you placed the picture 1 min later and its moved with no hole in your wall. I highly recommend this product and will continue to use them. A MUST TRY PRODUCT!!!!!!

Tore a chunk of plaster off the wall
Step 5 says to pull the frame off the wall (then wait 1 hour to remount). When I did so the bottom left strip pulled off the wall - taking a chunk of plaster with it. Now I am worried that the three remaining strips won't be strong enough to hold the 7 pound frame on the wall, AND I have a hole in my plaster.

The little fasteners sure are strong. Maybe too strong.

    Excellent Products for simple organization
I love all command products so I thought that I would try these picture strips instead of nails and no more damage to my walls I just repainted. They worked excellent, so fast and easy to use, even my kids use them and you cannot even tell the difference, except for that these strips allow my husband and kids to bump into my pictures without them falling off the hooks or nails!! Now I am able to hang pictures lower than before without the fear of them getting knocked off the walls and breaking. These strips also hold my shutter letter sorter that I created and I have even used them for arts and crafts. My kids want more and so does my husband. My husband wants to use your products to organize his building and workshop. I cannot thank you enough for these wonderful products. My whole family thanks you for helping us get more organized!!!!

Good for 6' laminated growth chart
I have a 6' growth chart poster in my kids' room that is laminated. I didn't want to attach it to the wall in a way that it would be punctured, and these hangers have done a great job so far with 3 across the top and 2 in the bottom corners.

    Love these!!
I have a fairly large [and heavy] picture that I wanted to hang. However, my walls are plaster and just the thought of pounding nails in the wall to support the weight made me cringe! I was picturing the plaster crumbling all over the floor and dropping the picture right along with it! I tried the Command picture hanging strips and they worked great!! Not only are they holding my picture up, but when my sister accidentally hung it up crooked [very crooked!! =) ] we were able to just replace it and nobody is any the wiser. Thanks for making such a superior product!! =)

    black large picture hanging strips
My husband was given a wooden BSU (Boise State Bronco )cut out on a heavy piece of wood. We were in an apartment where you couldn't put anything on the walls. I was afraid the strips wouldn't hold it. Guess what! Heavy as it was it held and when we left strips came off as nothing had ever been on the wall. Always thought they were great but this proved they all work!! Everything I do now goes on with command strips.

For things that move and yet must stay!
I used the Commandв„ў Large Picture Hanging Strips to attach my dry-erase board to the fridge. I can take the board down and write my TO-PURCHASE list in any location around the house, then put the board back on the fridge so I won't miss it for shopping.

I have a second TO-DO dry-erase board in the laundry room for chores - easily hung up for home-based chores, and quickly taken down if the chores are out-and-about.

Put a Commandв„ў Large Picture Hanging Strip on the back of a bleach/laundry treatment pen, then attach one to the laundry wall. Stains are out quickly and the pen stays put (and never again drops through the wire shelving to hide behind the washer).

Other uses: Message boards on children's bedroom doors, try with posters on round columns at the office or school, great to hang seasonal items on walls/doors, and finally adhere to the side of pens/markers and attach near every writing surface where pens/markers are needed, never loosing them again.

    Hanging things on the wall
I am very pleased with Command strips. I have used them for a couple years now. I have moved three times and NOT once has a command strip lifted the paint from the walls. I also appreciate the velcro part. When i move to a new house I just have to add a piece to the wall. I am greatful for that money saving part of Command strips. Oh, and the adjustment it allows when you dont get it exactly right!!!! LOVE IT!!

    picture hanging for your camper
I recently used the picture hanging strips to hang the panoramic picture we gave my husband for Father's Day of our baseball stadium, Target Field, in our camper. One of our favorite summertime things to do is camp and also listen to the MN Twins.
Now we have a photo of the field in our camper and I don't have to put any holes in the camper walls or worry about the picture falling and getting damaged! It's safely mounted and travels with us!

My wife and I were married in July and got or wedding photos back, lots of wedding photos. She wanted all of them hung, everywhere in the house. With a few packs of Command strips, a level, and a tape measure. I was able to hang 15 photo frames of different sizes and shapes in no time at all. Only problem is now she wants my to hang other stuff since she saw how easy it was for me. Either way thanks for saving my Saturday.

    UNhappy
I was elated to find this product as I get charged for the amount of holes in my walls and by the size when I move out.

When I decided to hang 2 pictures in the COMMON hallway, I didn't want to have to patch and paint.
So, I used the COMMAND STRIPS.

ALmost time to move and it looks like I "get to" patch and paint.

*It's a PAINTED PLASTER wall and I didn't read any precautions on not using the product on those.(?)

    these are great
I must admit I was skeptical. We moved into a place that had wood paneling and it was real hard to get nails or thumb tacks in so I broke down and bought packs of the command hooks. After a year they are still holding strong and were so easy to put up. I definately recommend them. I have used several different hooks and poster hangers including the large hooks. They really hold. Thank you for this product.

Keeping our new home walls new with Command Strips
After selling our condo we had so many holes to fill, sand over and paint. In our new home we are able to preserve our walls and keep them new by using COMMAND STRIPS to hang photographs, certificates and artwork.

For extra income we have been renting our guest room to local college students. We may have to replace the carpeting but we never have to fill holes or repaint walls. We simply remove the old strips when one person moves out and put up fresh strips to use to decorate the walls when the new person moves in.

These are awfully good for holiday decorations as well. No more pounding nails to hang holiday ornamentation!

i bought this about 2 months ago. i have a very large mirror that i wanted on the wall. it has no frame and i didn't really want to have one made for it. for the life of me i couldn't figure out how to hang it on the wall without a frame. a friend suggest the command strips. i doubted they would hold but was willing to try. the mirror has been up for 2 months and no problem. i fell in love and now i can think of several different uses for the strips. thanks these are wonderful.

    Fist success, then failure
My first try was a great success. Thereafter, failure and waste of money. Biggest complaint is the directions on the back of package. If I can read the microscopic font 0 with my glasses on, they keep referring to "remove" red strips or green strips. My purchases never have those designated colors. Next, I follow directions but somewhere between step 4 and 5 when they say press to wall, then remove bottom first, everything peels off. So then, how can I wait and hour if nothing is stuck to the wall. And do they really mean clean my painted walls with alcohol first? Directions are insufficient and more confusing the simpler they try to make it.

I bought these last month and was highly disappointed! I've used the command hooks and love those so I thought I would give these a try. The picture frame I had just bought mind you, fell off right away and shattered and the frame broke as well. To make matters worse I bought the value pack and spent $9.00 at target.

    Amazing!
I love these things! They are so easy to use. I like these much better then having to line it up and trying to find the right place to put the nail. Plus I'm always one who never likes how I do it the first time so it prevents tons of holes in the wall. Plus if you ever want to redecorate it doesn't leave a ton of holes in the wall! I've never had an issue with it pealing off paint either. I highly recommend these!

    Disappointing!
I bought these to hang picture frames in a collage.. I was weary of using this product, concerned that it wouldn't hold.. I went ahead and tried them out because I wanted the frames to stay straight, hate when pictures end up crooked over time. I made sure I bought the strips for the frame sizes and off I went. Well to my disappointment what I was afraid would happen, did! The frames started falling of the wall, shattering on the ground.. I quickly started removing frames that were still attached, these too were about ready to fall! I lost a total of 5 frames, I was very disappointed! Luckily no one was in the room while this happened. I will never use these again, sticking with the old fashion ways and using nails/screws to hang anything in the future.. To top it off these strips are pretty expensive!

Horrible took the paint right off my wall.
Once again so disappointed in a 3m product and once again it has done damage to my house. my first problem was with the scotch blue painters tape taking the paint off my wall.. and now your command strips did the same thing. And before you go and try to blame me, I read the instructions and did step by step what they said to do and the product I hung was well within the weight limit. Do not buy these "no damage" strips, I would rather have a small hole in the wall from a nail then any of these 3 marks...

    Disappointed
I bought command strips to hang pictures in my apartment. I am getting ready to move to a new place so I began taking pictures off the wall. To my disappointment the strips left bubbles on the walls, and even tore the paint off in 3 places, despite moving them as per the instructions. Thanks to the command strips I will be responsible for damages to the wall. Would not buy this product again!

Worked Perfectly for me despite other reviews
I was very worried given other reviews but it worked perfectly for me. I followed the directions exactly, cleaned wall with rubbing alcohol, applied strip, let set overnight before hanging item, and hung item the next morning. I found that it was easier to attach the two pieces together (ie. the photo to the wall) by simply using the side of my fist as a mallet and simply and firmly "popping" the picture on the wall. You can literally hear it "snap" into place. My items were up for one month (Christmas) and nothing fell. When removing, I started with the bottom of my photo and angled it up towards the ceiling, which slowly released the two velcro pieces. After that I carefully and slowly pulled the sticky part STRAIGHT DOWN until it was completely removed from the wall. I used about 30 total and not a single problem. Will be using these every Christmas. (sorry pictures are crooked because I took them down, then threw them back up quickly for a picture)

    Not good for large frames
I bought several sets of these hook & loop strips for hanging poster frames in my son's room. They only worked for the smallest and lightest frames. (Less than 22x36 plastic) Eventhough I used mutliple sets (as recommemded) for a frame that weighed no more than 5 lbs it fell off the door after only 4 days and the frame broke. The adhesive side stayed on the door but all except one gave away from the frame. The hooks stayed together but the adhesive pulled off.

    Disappointed
I have used this product (standard adhesive strips) for years and haven't normally had a problem, however i have just moved in to a new rental property and several pictures have fallen off the wall. Ive bought all sorts of different shapes and sizes and read carefully what is suitable for size and weight. I always make sure the wall is clean and have used several strips to redo it but it keeps happening. If it was my own house I'd just use normal hooks but i don't have that option as i am renting. Frustrated that nothing stays put. Any other suggestions?

I have used Command products for several years. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but he also likes not having to fill nail holes when he paints. I have 6 pictures, ranging from large to small, over our bed, and in 2 years not even the smallest one has fallen off.

    So disappointed.
I used the strips to hang my grandchildren's initials on the wall. I am moving but could only get one letter off the wall without damaging the wall. Two of the letters ripped the wall board & I now have 3 letters stuck on so tight I can't get them off. I will try getting dental floss behind them to release them but I still have a wall to fix. I am more than a little annoyed.

If you don't have a scale get one
This product works fantastic. What I have learned over the years with command strips is FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS...and of course DON'T think YOU are a SCALE!!!

When this is followed they NEVER come down

    Command strips...
I will never buy command strips again, I hung my pictures in our new home using the large ones and the small ones and four of my pictures that I have fell and tore paint off my wall and took my picture down with it, I'll stick to using nails and have a little hole instead of a broken picture and paint missing thank you!

    disappointed :(
I bought these in December to hang 4 lightweight pictures.  In the past month they all fell off the wall left me with 2 broken glass pictures.  I do have a textured wall so  that may have been part of problem. I was hoping they would be permanent solution to nail holes in my wall.  Turns out they only had a 6 month life span.

    Easy yet effective!
I have been waiting about 11 months for my husband to help me put up some pictures and canvases in our house.  I saw the command strips and decided to give them a try!  I followed the instructions on the packet (which were quick and easy), waited an hour after application to hang my photos and they have stayed there with no problem for the last month :)  I love command strips!!!

    HORRIBLE. don't buy.
I bought these two months ago or so and it seemed fine until this morning at 3am when I woke up to the horrendous sound of what I thought was a bomb but actually was my beautiful picture frame collapsing to the floor. According to the product this should have been stuck like glue but it failed to do so. I'm extremely dissapointed.

Simply Don't Work/Will Break your Frames
My husband and I just moved, so have been in the process of decoratingId our new home.  I have always been hesitant to use these products for fear of falling frames, but I thought since we had so many frames to hang that we would give them a try rather than pounding a ton of nail holes into our walls.  I started with smaller to medium size frames (5Г—7, 8x10, etc) and to date they have held well with small and medium sized strips.  It's been several weeks since we've hung them.  We then decided to use the large strips to hang a couple more expensive 19x23 frames - well under the recommended size and weight capacities.  After only a couple weeks the first of the frames fell and not only completely busted the frame but damaged the chair rail on the wall as the frame fell.  We followed the instructions completely, so will not be using this product again for anything larger than an 8x10 or any other frame we are fond of.  I would not recommend to anyone and will be returning to traditional picture hangers immediately.

Be Ready for Things to Break
My wife got these command strips to hang up my diploma frame. It seemed like a good idea, and we did not have to put any holes in the wall. I had always heard that command strips were great, so I figured why not. Then one night, maybe 3 or 4 months after we had put the frame up, we had gone to bed, and I heard this loud crash. I walked out into the living room, and there was my diploma frame lying on the floor. Thankfully, it landed on the carpet, and the glass did not shatter, but my wood frame was completely destroyed. If you have ever bought a frame for your diploma, you know how expensive they are. My frame was within the weight limit at around 3.6 pounds. I would recommend not using this product, as anything you hang on these strips risks falling and being damaged, or in my case, destroyed.

    Love them!
Not sure what the other reviewers' situations were,  but I love Command Strips. I finally read the instructions a while back and realized you must prepare surface - I take cotton ball with a little alcohol on it. Wipe the wall. Let dry. Apply strips. Wait few min, may BE longer then hang the object. Works GREAT for me! :-)

Took the paint off the wall...
Hung up a picture from two strips (within the weight limit), and within 24 hours the paint  had separated from the wall on one side, so the picture sagged to that side.  To its credit, the strip on the other side kept the picture from crashing to the floor until I could remove the picture.

Ripped a hole in my wall.
I bought this for Christmas after we remodeled our home so I wouldn't damage the walls. When pulling the tab down to move one of the stockings it took a chunk out of the texture of the drywall. I am so frustrated and scared to remove the others.

Very disappointed with this product. I had bought the smaller command strips at first since the picture I was hanging was barley a pound and ended up falling a few days later scuffing my walls. I attempted a second time with the same size strips this time using double to about of hooks and making sure all my walls were wiped clean, I had thought maybe that was the reason why it hadn't worked, but it had fallen again. I had then purchased these bigger strips supposed to hold 16lbs and with in a week that same picture had fallen again. The end result I should have just put a little nail whole in the wall, my wall is now all scuffed and my picture frame is all scratched up.

Doesn't hold frame well at all!
I bought large command strips to hang a 24x36 framed poster for my boyfriend. There is no glass so it only weighs about 7lbs. We used all 4 stripes, and according to the package it should hold up to 16lbs. After 3 months of buying the command strips we heard a loud noise in the middle of the night; the frame had fallen and broke. I had to buy a new frame, again without glass, so we can hang the picture. We bought the strips again, 3 months later that same thing. A loud noise in the middle of the night. Thankfully the frame didn't break but we will no longer be wasting our money on ANY command products in the future.

I figured i would try this out vs putting another hole in my wall. I follwed directions, used four strips on a painting that weigh about 5 pounds. About an hour after I hung, the picture came crashing down damaging my molding. Horrible product. FYI my wall is plaster with Benjamin Moore Regal Select paint.

Does not remove from wall as advertised!
They hang on the wall, but definitely do not come off cleanly at all as advertised... especially after being on the wall for a while. The pull strips broke easily when trying to remove them!! Had to literally pull them off the wall... damaged walls significantly!

    Broken Frames
This product worked for a while - then all of a sudden all my pictures started dropping from the walls and there was damage to my frames (broken glass, dented rims, scratches, etc)  I would not recommend this product - it doesn't last and it costs way more than nails to purchase, not to mention replace all the broken results and the damage to my dry wall after the pictures fell.

I bought these strips last weekend to hang a mirror in my daughter's bedroom, just a full length no frame plastic mirror, SO under the weight limit using the 4 strips included in the package.  Within hours the mirror fell down, we refastened the strips to the wall again and a few days later again the mirror fell down.

    Disappointed!
I used to buy a lot of those white hooks and they work fine even after a year or two. I've recently moved to new apartment and bought these black strip for photos. It is suppose to hold up to 16lbs and my photo was less than 3 lbs, I've followed every instruction on it. It works find in the first week and then fell off the table and hit my foot. This is absolutely unacceptable!

    The Strips Failed!
I bought the Large command strips to hold a 6lb picture frame, and put 2 sets of strips on the frame after cleaning the wall and frame of dust etc. The strips held for a few months and then failed, breaking the relatively expensive frame ($80) and damaging the baseboard in my new home as it fell. I am very disappointed and this is the second time this has happened. The first picture I had fail, happened after a few weeks on the wall. I am staying well below the weight limit and securing them correctly, and feel something needs to be done. At least replace the damaged items.

    Ruined my Wal
I bought these to hang up a tapestry, maybe 2-3 pounds. I put two sets on the wall and had it hanging for a few days. When I looked at it a few days later I noticed that the paint was coming off under the weight of the tapestry. Props to command for making it strong enough to rip paint off the wall instead of just falling but come on.

Bought for hanging up a custom made artwork/frame given to me from a family member. Weighed 10 lbs. put the strips in place made sure they stuck on all four pads and placed on the wall, didnt even last an hour before falling and shattering, and the sticky pads had no stick feeling to them at all.

I've always been a fan of command strips.  They work well, and always seem to work when a quick hook or tab or piece of velcro is need to secure something.  These picture hanging strips are no different.  They make it really easy to hang a picture, and the picture feels secure.

    Great Product to Hang Pictures
These large picture hanging strips offer damage-free hanging and removing. I love these strips, which operate on a velcro-type system. They are very quick and easy to install and hold firmly. The package says you can hang a picture up to 16 pounds with the large-size strips. This is a great product for people who can't or don't want to put holes in the wall to hang items. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

    Large picture hanging strips
I was disappointed with these command strips because it says on the back of package Do Not Apply strips to paper, or the soft surface on frame.  I wanted to use these to hang up my art work that is done on thick paper.  (Wish it stated that on the front of package).  I ended up using to hold up little pictures I bought that only weigh a few pounds each,  but I had to use all 4 strips to hang just 1 pic, cause it kept falling down with just 2 strips.  Please note that I received a free sample of this product to evaluate.

    Interesting product, unique design
I was sent this product from 3M to try. I was curious how/if this would work, especially on a heavy frame, but it works amazing!! Left no marks on the heavy antique frame, held firm and secure, removed clean. Highly recommended for a place where you can't put nails or hangers up but you want to decorate!!

    Work Well for Wall Decor
I have used the hanging strips for many dГ©cor items, with considerable success.  I appreciate the darker colored strips, as they blend into the color of the frames on a colored wall (rather than the white strips sticking out on a colored wall).

    Love this product
I brought these because I have some hooks that I hang pictures on that are not staying in the wall. I love how easy these are to apply to the picture and how easy it is to hang the picture on the wall. I was worried that the pictures that I hang would be to heavy and not stand on the wall.  I have had not problems at all. I am going to get all sizes to use on every picture that I have in my house.

    Problem with adhesive coming off
I bought 3 packs of these black hanging strips to hang posters and artwork on my walls.  I have used the product before with good results however this time I was very disappointed. Following the instructions (printed on the back of the packaging) while attempting to remove the liner from the hanger,  the adhesive came off with the liner or separated from the strip rendering it useless.  Looking at the defect I could not trust using the strips to hang my artwork/posters.  I would not recommend these any longer because of this.

    mcgyver meets command
I use command everywhere since they came out.  I had an odd challenge with my Mom's hummingbird plates since the strip on the back didn't extend beyond the center edge on the back.  I decided to stack the hanger strips and it was a great success! All I can suggest to folks who were unhappy with these products is that maybe they didn't actually follow all the prep steps.  That's the only time I have had a failure in many years of all kinds of applications.

    Failing slowly one by one
I used command strips throughout my home for all of my frames.  They were easy to use and do not leave damage or holes in the wall. However; they have slowly failed one by one over the last year.  I have lost multiple frames because the strips fail (even with multiple per frame- well over the weight limit) and the frames fall to the floor and break.  I have had to go through and take down all of my frames and hang with nails anyways.

    Didn't last a week...
I bought these two weeks ago to hold up a large but lightweight (only about 8 lbs) piece of art. I used all six sets of them, and they're rated for 16lbs. I followed the instructions to a T and made sure the surface was very clean when I hung it. Within one day two of them kept coming off and un-sticking. Within the week, it fell down on us while we were on the couch.

It only works 30% of the time
I purchased this about a month-and-a-half ago to hang multiple pictures around my home and I found myself wondering why I continue to purchase the items due to my previous experiences with it only working 30% of the time. Unfortunately within a couple of days any item that I hung that weighed less than 5 lb fell . Fortunately only a few of them were damaged and can be replaced. When this originally happened I thought that it was me just not putting enough strips on the back of the items that I was hanging so what I did was purchase the larger strips which in this case is the product that I am reviewing and unfortunately the same thing happened with those items.\
    \
I still like the strips due to the ease of use and convenience it offers when I want to change my home decor. However there are times that I won't rely on it due to the unreliability of items sticking to the wall so at this time I am only using the product for non valuables with the expectations that it will fall, as for any valuables I use nails to hang it up to ensure it is securely in place.

I used these for 2 purposes while living in a rental for a year.  First, I used 4 of them to support an entryway mirror.  No damage whatsoever when I moved home last month.  Second, I used 4 of them to anchor a cabinet that needed stabilizing.  Since there were no small children in the household, I felt confident that this would work.  It was easy, effective, and left no damage when removed at the end of the year.

    Unreliable
These are unreliable, and the velcro comes off randomly.  We had a 2lb picture frame that fell to the ground and broke. We had 2 strips attached, and the product says that these should hold up to 8lbs for 2.  It mentions the temperature specifications of over 100 degrees, and ours fell when the home was only around 85-90 degrees.

    These strips are my favorite!
Out of all the command strips I have tried these large picture hanger strips are my favorite. They hold a lot of weight and are pretty strong. I have used them to hange pictures, floating shelves and even wall decor.

    Very easy to use
I bought these to hang picture frames worked great stayed up until we sold our house we lived in for 3 years. Never had an issue with them falling, and removing was easy nothing left on walls just like the product states. I still use them today, and other command products.

    Great Product
I'm so glad to be in a house that I can use all the command products again! My last house had textured walls that they would not stick to. They are so convenient to use, especially when in a rental home. Thanks 3M!

    great for hanging diy headboard
I live in an apartment and used this to hang a fabric covered headboard on the wall.  It works great and still hanging one year later.

Used according to directions, Did not stick.
I purchased the large command strips yesterday to hang a whiteboard on the wall. Unfortunately when I woke up this morning the board was on the floor and broken into pieces. Specifications say the white board was 4lbs in the packaging, I used all 4 pairs in the package.

    Will Not Stick to Wall
Despite following the directions, waiting an hour, even waiting over 24 hours, my frame will not stick to the wall. The item is maybe 2-3 pounds, and I am using 4 sets (each supposedly holding 4 pounds). I've gone through two large packs of these command strips to get it to hang, yet I wake up to the item falling on my head in the middle of the night. Both pieces of velcro are still attached, the sticky part to the wall will simply not stick.

    Short term use onky
All items have fallen, and as a result all I have left is broken frames, broken glass, and broken home decor.

    They do not work
Used this product to hang photo frames and after 6 months every item hung with this item has since fallen resulting in broken photo frames and clock. Each item weighed significantly under recemmonded weight and instructions were followed.  I am deeply uphappy with this product and will not waste any more money.

    failed and broke my items
Not worth risking on an item with any value. Velcro failed and broke my items.

    Excellent product
Have had these for more than a year on multiple canvas' and frames and have had no issues at all! Highly recommended, I'm sure if the installation instructions are correctly followed they will do as designed!

Canvas photos falling off the walls
These were great for hanging canvas photos for almost a year and within the last month, 3 of my canvas photos fell onto the floor. The Velcro is still attached to the wall. The glue let go on the back of the canvas.  Wouldn’t trust the product again.

    Great fix
We bought these to hang metal artwork. The hangers that are on the art work were hard to use nails with. We used 2 set of the large to attach it to the wall. It worked great. We will switch to these to hang all artwork and pictures in our home.

    Does not hold as advertised
I was woken at 1:30am by the falling of the frame.  It was a light weight wood. These strips are not as strong as they may have been in the past.

Held for a little bit then fell
I hung something that was 7 pounds, it held for a little bit then fell which sucks because the item would’ve broken. Doesn’t work on heavy things

    Fantastic weight holding capacity
I have large picture frames that are heavy and I love these for keeping them on the wall just where I have put them. I had no idea there were so many more products for canvas and more that I definitely want to check out from Command.

    Nails don't fail
I purchased several command strips for hanging large pictures.  I just had my walls painted and I didn't want to use nails.  So I tried command strips.  Big mistake, big waste of money (they are quite pricey).  Anyway long story short.  Followed directions, cleaned area, etc...but everything fell off the wall within 20 minutes.  Back to nails - they don't fail!

    Don't hang your precious items!!!
Have tried these twice to hang a set of 4 pictures in lightweight frames. First time 4 stuck.....   Great.... Until a month later when one fell off the wall, smashed and dented the oak floor!!!! Replaced the frame and rehung the item..,.. a few weeks later another did the same, this time knocking another frame off as it fell to the floor. Two frames to buy now and floor is not in good shape. Has cost me a fortune!

    Would Not Recommend
Purchased this product to hang a frame. I used all 4 strips and followed the instructions. Hung the frame with the strips and within a few hours the frame fell. The frame I purchased was hanging was well under the weight it said these would hold. And when the frame fell it broke. So now I have a brand new broken frame and useless Command Strips. Will never purchase again.

    Garbage
I hanged a frame using the command tapes of a textile canvas that I got as a gift. It fell within 5 mins, the glass shattered and it was all over the carpet. Highly not recommended.

    NOPE!
I bought the large strips and used more than needed for a picture. I hung it up on a clean wall and within 45 mins, it came off the wall. Good thing my dog heard it and moved and good thing my sofa stopped it from breaking. UNFORTUNATELY, I spent money on a large pack of these. The medium and small size works fine, or at least so far. Oh, and picture I used the large strips for is under 6 pounds! I wanted to make sure it was secure. Sill me!

So easy to hang a picture
I have been buying these large picture hangers for a couple years... they make hanging a picture yourself so easy! I live with my kids they normally don’t help me hang picture! No tools required, and no holes in the walls!

Worked well for 6 months then fell down out of now
The velcro strips stayed on the wall but the surface in contact with the frame gave way after 6 months out of nowhere. Product around 2kg weight when stated it could hold 7.2kg. Extremely frustratingId.

Tore the paint off my wall
Tried to use two of these pairs to hang a very lightweight picture frame in my bathroom which was just remodeled. Instructions say to wait at least 7 days after painting before using these. The paint was over two weeks old. Followed the instructions exactly. When I removed the frame by lifting out from the bottom as instructed, one of the two strip pairs tore a huge chunk of paint off the wall, right down to the drywall. Had to pay the contractor to come back and repair it. "Do No Harm"? That's deceptive marketing. NOT recommended.

    Huge mistake
I bought these to put up all home decor since I was renting and when I to removed them as instructed most of them still pulled off the paint and texture!! Way more noticeable then a nail hole would have been. Now I get to pay for repairs. The spots of missing paint are every noticeable since that are almost the size of the strips themselves. Nails are cheaper and do less damage to walls!
