Decent Fork but Misleading Name

The practicalities of the fork are pretty good. Fairly heavyweight, they stand up pretty well to heavy foods that need to be cut without breaking or bending. However the forks flair out at the bottom of the tines(which they don't show in the picture) which feels weird when eating.

Also, the name - Plant Starch Fork- leads to the assumption that these are eco-friendly and biodegradable. However, they can't be composted and I wonder how bio-degradable they are.
