Portable Electric Stapler, 20-Sheet Capacity, Black

I bought this stapler about 5 years ago.  Swingline model # 48200.  This is about the best office supply I have ever bought.  Compact, lightweight, reliable.  I am an admin assistant and this is perfect for my job.  I have just had a co-worker come up to use it and they loved it so much I am about to order another one.  A couple things worth noting:

1.  For some reason, this works better with batteries than with the plug in it came with.  It staples much faster and harder with the batteries.  The batteries seem to last forever.  I have only used the plug in once since I bought this and I found it was slower than the batteries.

2.  Use premium staples, not the cheapies!  Using chisel point staples makes a world of difference.

Using these two suggestions will give you years of premium performance out of your Swingline.  Would definitely recommend.

This stapler has two issues. One is loading new staples, the button to access the stapler storage is cheaply made and breaks easily, as mine did. The 2nd issue is that the plastic back stop (determines how far your document goes in before the stapler is triggered) is also cheaply made so it does not hold.
