Being on a very tight budget, I learned that I was able to use Tide Free on my newborns clothes as well as the rest of the family. Makes it a lot easier to do all the laundry at once. Not to have to worry about sorting small clothes from big clothes is so much nicer.

I switched to Tide Free after an episode with another detergent that resulted in extreme hives and hospitalization! Tide Free rescued me! Not only is it a great non-allergen detergent, but it also smells great and makes my clothing cozy! I am so glad I found this product.

I use Tide with bleach powder detergent in the Clean Breeze scent. I use it on all of my whites. And when I have a stubborn stain, I make a paste with the detergent and apply it to the stain. It always works for me. I am a faithful buyer of this product, and I highly recommend it to everyone!!

Please ..please bring back the large container. I loved the easy to use spigot. The small bottle does not last as long plus it isn't as convenient
as the larger container. I find that my skin is very dry and itchy after I launder my clothes. I have to rinse x 3 and occasionally 4 times. My sons have eczema really bad and the old Tide was GREAT so please consider bringing it back.

Out of all scents of Tide, Mountain Scent is my overall favorite. It not only gets out most stains, but the scent is great.
Now since I've used this stuff in my front loader prior to any HE detergent out there, I only use half the amount, and have no problems with oversudding or cleaning performance. I tried the HE versions of all detergents, and I found most sud just as much as regular detergent at recommended dosage for top loaders. So I stick with regular, and cut the amount in half, and have twice as many loads per box.
I just wish all detergent makers (especially Proctor & Gamble) would stop making their detergents with excessive amounts of suds. If a former competitor of theirs was able to make a universal low sudsing detergent, then why can't other detergent makers (especiallyt Proctor & Gamble)?

Having contact dermatitis forces me to use only certain products and Tide is my choice for laundry detergent. It's strong enough to get my laundry clean but gentle enough not to bother my skin. Thank You!!

I am glad that I am getting a chance to tell the Tide people what Tide has meant to me for all the years I have used it for 50 some years, and I wouldn't want another product..and I did try some and was disappointed, so now I love the different kinds of Tide you can get and I have stopped purchasing the softeners as I get Tide with that in it and it is just wonderful...and you don't have to use a lot of tide to get a load of clothes clean...just am so glad to be able to you tell you how wonderful your product is. THANKS

My daughter also got a rash all over her whole body from this product. We have used the regular Tide for years but you keep changing the names to Total care and free of dyes and perfumes. My husband had sensative skin so I thought the dyes and perfumes free would be better than the total care. Well my husband did not break out but by daughter did. I guess we will try the total care. Unfortunately for me I baught 2 100 oz bottles. I guess I will give them to someone who can use them. It's really hard to just find Tide regular. It worked so well for us.

I have a 7 month yr old son. And he has really bad eczema. And none of the other baby detergent work for him. It broke him out more, itcy skin even his head. This was the best thing every I Love it. Thanks!!

Tide was the detergent used when I was growing up, and up until recently was the detergent of choice in my home. But since I have been using 2X, my water bill has gone up considerably, and I believe it is due to all the rinses I have to put my clothes through to get the soap out. Although I love Tide, I probably won't be using it as long as it is concentrated. I can't afford to pay more for the detergent and the additional water bill also!

I have been using Tide Free ever since we discovered that my first son has atopic dermatitis or excema. He has allergic reactions to just about any sort of soap and perfum. His skin used to itch so intensely that I literally spent hours every day pulling his hands away from itchy areas and teaching him that it was best not to scratch, because it did cause skin infections. After changing a few parts of his routine such as diet, skin ointment, hydration, and of course using no fragrances or dyes on his clothes we really got a hold on his skin condition. I hope and pray he grows out of it, but if not at least he will learn throughout his child hood how to take care of sensitive skin!

I wouldn't do laundry without it
I have had problems with detergents for years and having one that does not have perfumes and dyes in it saves me from rashes. The liquid form ensures that I don't get that powder residue left in my clothes that always made me itch.
I do have one complaint, the stores in my area have stopped stocking the liquid and are now only stocking the powder.

Great for Children with Allergy or Dry skin
Contrary to other comments I read, this detergent does it all; cleaning power, removes smells, etc. It is made for light smells and stains, etc., not embedded odors or those requiring bleach. Great for my 4 girls; 2, 4, 6 & 35, who suffer dry skin and many allergies.

For years I had to use Ivory Soap because of allergies to perfumes/fragrances and dyes. It was not my favorite as far as cleaning. When Tide came out with fragrance and dye free I was elated and immediately started using it. At times, when other brands came out with fragrance and dye free, I tried them. I always came back to Tide Free because it does the best job. Living on a fixed income, I have to cut corners, but I stick to Tide even though it costs more then some brands. I love it.

Found my first Coldwater Tide just this week in our area and it is the best. Have been using more Coldwater Tide as so many products are Cotton or Dark Colors, but now don't have to worry about allergic reactions with my family.

I have been using Tide w/ Bleach Powder Original scent since it came out and have been very happy with it! My clothes smell fresh and clean and are clean!
Recently, I tried to buy it at the retailers I usually purchase it at, and to my disappointment, neither carry it any longer. I had to buy the Tide Powder Original Scent since that was the closest formula to what I wanted. I am not interested in all the new fancy formulas. This Tide Powder Original Scent formula is so disappointing!!! First of all, the scent is too strong and overwhelming. Why is it so strong? The Tide w/Bleach Powder is also Original Scent but it was light and pleasant not overwhelming and nauseating. Second, I noticed that the deodorant did not come out on three of my blouses!!! It looks like there are grease stains in the armpit area. This never ever happened when I used the Powder w/Bleach!!!
I want my money back!

I have respiratory problems with scented soaps/fabric softeners and this product has proven wonderful. No scent and my cloths are clean and fresh smelling. I've always used TIDE products because they work great and so does TIDE FREE. Thanks you TIDE.

Although I am a life long Tide user, I purchased this product because it was the only He detergent the store had at the time. Although it cleans the clothes it leaves them with that not clean smell. It reminds me of how clothes smell after they have been wet and left in a pile to dry. I highly discourage purchassing this product unless you absolutely have to.

We started using it for our baby's clothes. I loved it so much that I started to use it for all of our clothes. It is great for people with sensitive sknin because there is no scent to it. It does an excellent job at cleaning clothes, especially the stains that come with having a little baby.

I rated this powder average because I find that whites do not stay white. This is the best of the rest but why do I need to add bleach or stain remover to washing detergent just to get clothes clean from normal wear?
Shouldn't a detergent wash my clothes clean and keep colors bright without the need for more expense and additives?

I have an allergy-prone husband, so I always washed our linens in Tide Free. Tide Free & Gentle liquid seems to be the same as my old Tide Free. It does an excellent job in hot water. However, I once mistakenly picked up a bottle of Tide Free & Gentle "he" -- it seems to perform just as well.
Is there any problem of which I am not aware in using "he" laundry products in regular washing machines?

Tide has a wonderful scent to it. I love the way all their detergents smell. After a wash and a dry putting your clothes up to your nose and breathing in is so nice. One last thing....the color always seems so bright. Will be sticking with Tide

The product that works best for us!
We have used Tide Free and Gentle since my husband and I have sensitive skin issues. We have not had any skin irritation problems using this product and it cleans our clothes very well. Great product!

Hello,
Tide has been my laundry detergent of choice for many years and i don't wish to change. The new product is 111 oz's less and takes more per load even though it's suppose to be concentraed, which is becoming very costly. Please bring the old product back!

Wonderful for those with allergies!
Tide Free and Gentle is amazing for my family because I want my clothes to be clean but also not make us break out or have trouble breathing. I LOVE this product, and if there are really bad stains, I just pop in a Tide Stain Release packet and I'm good to go!

I have allergies and decided to try Tide Free and Gentle. Not only did my clothes come out clean, there was no perfume odor, just clean. My clothes smell clean because they are clean. I will never again use any other detergent for my clothes.

I want a detergent that is safe in the laundry, that does not irritate the skin. I have always used Tide Free Liquid. But, recently, I tried Planet brand detergent, "gentle on sensitive skin". It is harsh on my skin, and too strong for our household needs. Tide Free is very much better, safe and effective. Thank you.

New formula stinks! literally!
Ive been a loyal Tide customer for 20+ years. Its the only brand I would ever buy.
The scent of the new Original is not the same! Ive read customer support response, suggesting to try Mountain Spring scent, as it smells like the old original. But that scent doesn't come in HE? Why doesn't it?
Ive managed to find 2 small bottles of the old formula at a local store, but after theyre finished, I'll have to find a new detergent/
I really hope that P&G listens to all of the negative feedback from their customers!

I just washed my first load of towels with the new "original" Ultra Tide. I'm putting it through an extra rinse in hopes of removing the strong, offensive scent that is left in them. I have been a loyal Tide customer for 50 years. I am so disappointed that a great product has been ruined. Please bring back the real original.

I used this product for the first time. The perfume is overpowering. I tried to wash my laundry with fragrance free soap followed by a vinegar and water rinse. The smell is cloying!

This is a great product for people with sensitive skin or tend to break out with other products. There is no fresh sent or softener, so cloths don't come out as soft as I would like.

I received my bottle of Tide Free & Gentle 3 days ago and could not wait to try it out. My fiancГ© has been allergic to regular Tide for years but with this Tide being free of dyes/perfumes and also hypoallergenic we figured we would give it a shot. Yesterday he put on a shirt we washed using the Tide Free & Gentle and it didnt irritate his skin at all! Plus I love the "clean" smell you get from the detergent as well. I will definitely be using this product again!

So Fresh and so clean clean!
I never did so much laundry in one day! I never liked my clothes smelling of heavy perfumes, it always made me cough. Now they smell clean, just clean. It didn't take a lot of liquid to clean them either. I look forward to getting my entire wardrobe washed and clean, without walking around smelling like a perfume factory!

I love the idea of dye free, scent free soaps and detergents, but as the mother of three teenaged boys, I have an uphill battle in terms of battling smells. I’ve tried other clear, scent free products and been disappointed, so I was so completely IN LOVE with the results when I used Tide Free and Gentle. I loved that my clothes were clean and fresh without any dyes or perfumes, and it must be strong because it worked on the clothes and towels in my house with strongest stink factor possible! My family now can get clean, fresh clothes without the use of added perfumes and scents! Love it!

Same great clean without the dyes and perfumes, which is the reason I would have given it 5 stars but the smell is not my favorite. I still love the cleaning power though and would recommend this to people with sensitive skin or small children.

Tide free & gentle Laundry detergent
I find this to be a great brand overall. I particularly like the unscented version because I don't like my clothes to be saturated with artificial perfumes that can sometimes irritate me and mix with other scents that I may be wearing at the time. This is a huge selling feature for me because there are times when I like to be free of any scents as they can bother others that I am around. It does a good job on my clothes and I am always happy with how clean my clothes are when they come out of the wash. As for being gentle, my skin is on the sensitive side, and my clothes do not irritate me after using this laundry detergent. I am very grateful that there is a non-scented product out there that will also do a good job cleaning my clothes.

Tide Free and Gentle for the win!
Upon opening the Tide Free & Gentle bottle, I was a bit aprehensive at first. Mainly because I generally choose detergents based on the scent. However, I decided to give it a shot because of the claims of it being free from dyes, perfumes, and dermatologist recommended. After doing my first load of laundry with this, my towels feel extremely soft and they smell clean and fresh, without smelly artificial or over done. I would definitely use this product again, and plan to recommend it to my family and friends that have known allergies to perfumes and fragrances.

Excellent product!! 5 stars, I absolutely loved this product!! Our clothes smelled wonderful for weeks after. I loved that it is clear due to the fact that sometimes the soap color from other brands stains on clothes after wash. My husband has very sensitive skin so this was perfect, colorless and not harsh. My clothes were really bright , clean, fresh. Will definitely use this product in the future. I will also recommend to family and friends.

Tide Free & Gentle liquid laundry detergent is excellent. It gets your clothes clean without a scent. I like that. I don’t like scents on my clothes so I use Tide Free & Gentle.

No Smell!! Just SOFT clothes!!
So before I even used this laundry soap, I was skeptical about it being truly scent free. I sniffed the bottle and it had a light chemical detergent smell that definitely smelled like Tide but not? I could tell it was definitely trying to be scent free as best it could. I honestly expected a light smell after my clothes were done because the scent was just enough to know it was Tide. I enjoyed the fact the soap is totally clear. That’s just super cool and reinforces the fact of it being dye free. So my laundry load was all darks, primarily blacks and one dark navy. I was curious to see how this would work on dark clothes. To my surprise, my clothes were really soft, like a fabric softener had been used (although not!) and there was NO SMELL WHATSOEVER!! I feel like my clothes aren’t so heavy and dry more quickly. I’m very impressed. I didn’t think it was going to work at all and my skin would be irritated still from the scent. Thanks Tide! Amazing product!!

I really dislike the fact mu skin has been very sensitive to any lotions foundations and detergents including softeners.
So this Tide FREE AND GENTLE although it says free of perfum I love the light scent it comes with, honestly I can not have my clean clothes not have the clean smell lol.
Ok... so I can't really smell the detergent but my sheets are soft and I don't see any difference in my skin yet! For now I will use it again and hope to continue with good results.

Ok. First of all i fell in love with this detergent. I ussualy use other brands that are dye and perfume free because I always get a strange allergy on my skin plus I have a small child. So i have to be honest i was a little skeptical about this product, had tried the regular Tide detergent before and it drove me crazy with the itching and again it was to harsh for my skin. But I decided to give it a try since the store was out of stock for the other brand that I regularly buy. It totally blew me away, I have purple hair (yes!, Barney the dinosaur purple) and I had on a white shirt, for some strange reason my hair dyed the shirt collar purple!! so I decided to see if the detergent was good enough to remove the stain. And you know what!! When it came out of the washing machine it looking brighter and the stain was completely gone!!!!!!! With the other brand I had to prewash whites to get the same result. Also used it to clean my son's clothing and they have never been so clean! Best of all its totally clear and odorless.

I was looking for a product that I could use to clean my sons clothes tand would not cause snyskin irritations. He has sensitive skin so I have to be careful of the detergents I use. He was not bothered by chemicals or scents and it cleaned his clothes wonderfully. Try this product if you have children with sensitive its a great choice.

Love my Tide free n gentle!
So excited to try this free of anything harmful detergent by Tide! I love that it has no scent and is harm free! Especially for my baby girls clothes! So far it has really cleaned the clothes well and that’s enough to be thankful for! I would definitely recommend it for others! Especially for little’s clothing!

Tide Free & Gentle is a great product. I'm a massage therapist and use jojoba oil on my clients. I need a powerful but gentle cleaner to get out the oil in the sheets. I have tried other products, but Tide Free & Clear works wonderfully!! I don't like to use any perfume scented products as it may affect my clients who are sensitive.

I have never leaned toward tide products - and I know with the latest “trends” tide hasn’t had a very good name these days- but! I can say that I tried this on everyone’s clothes and I’m very surprised of the outcome! It did make my clothes much cleaner than my regular products - the clothes looked more brand new and with having boys in the house it’s hard to keep their clothes looking and feeling great but this detergent did it for us! I would buy this again for sure .

Great Alternative BUT....
So I just got a small bottle of this detergent on the recommendation from my son's dermotologist. My son has eczema and the Doc suggested I switch to a "Free and Clear" brand of detergent to see if it helped clear up the rashes.
I got this one "Free and Gentle" and I hoped that it would be as good as Original Tide, BUT it is not a miracle cleaner. I am still a fun of Original Tide, but I will continue to wash my son's clothes separately in this, with added Oxi-Clean to get those darn stains out. This detergent alone did not get everything out and that made me a little sad.
Summary: Good, not Great. Great alternative for sensitive skins, but not good at stain removal.

I love the fact that you can use Tide Free & Gentle High Efficiency Laundry Detergent with any fabric softener and you only smell the scent of the fabric softener and not a mix of detergent scents. Clothes came out clean and fresh with no heavy perfume! Definitely would recommend.

Cleaning power I feel good about
I have two young girls who go to summer camp and get filthy. I usually use Tide with Bleach Alternative because I need to trust that their clothes won’t get ruined and stay looking clean and new. I hand clothes down from one daughter to the other and don’t want to get stuck paying for new outfits for my little one because my big ones, clothes don’t last. Anyway, I was intrigued to try a more natural option but skeptical it would work as well as I needed it to. Needless to say, I was thrilled with Tide Free & Gentle. It works just like my powerful original Tide but I can feel good that I’m using the most natural, safest for my kids type of detergent out there. Clean clothes and safe/natural, it’s a win-win and I’m definitely going to switch!

I like all of the Tide laundry products, as the clean very well. The Tide free and gentle is no exception. It cleans clothes very well. This product is great for people who have skin sensitivity and eczema. I prefer to have a fresh scent to my clothes, although this isn't scent free, it is very lightly scented. Tide free and gentle is a clear liquid, which is great for whites and lights laundry. I would recommend this to someone who has allergies, scent sensitivity, eczema, or skin sensitivity. Great product!

With a family full of sensitive skin people we loved this detergent we were able to enjoy clean clothes with out itchy after math. If you have sensitive skin give this awesome detergent a try you wont be disappointed

Love the Tide Free & gentle
It works really well. I love that there is no scent. Clothes look nice and clean after I wash them. Nothing in it to cause itching.

Tide is awesome. It always takes out all the stains my kids put on their clothes. It is like they keep finding new stains and Tide just keeps getting them out of the clothes. It is peace of mind for sure.

I am expecting a new little one the first week of August. I have been using the Tide Free and clear to wash up all his clothing. I used it to wash up some hand me downs that had some stains and to my surprise it got the yellow out. Super excited to use this as my new littles detergent.

Having suffered rashes due to heavily chemical/perfumed soaps, am cautious about soaps and washes. Also have a dog that's sensitive to the same issues when washing toys. Thick soap, use s directed and will last as described in label. No issues, cleaned and refreshed fabrics as expected, typically don't veer away from tide due to confidence in branding and quality!

I think that this detergent was exceptional! Not only did it clean my clothes very well, it had literally no fragrance. Typically I have found that unscented detergents, still had some sort of fragrance, but this product did not. I think this procudt would be great for people who can not handle strong scents, as this product is truly fragrance free. Another thing that I appreciated about this product is that you only need to use a little bit of the detergent to get clean clothes, which is great for everyone’s wallet!

It’s great ! As promised it is free and clear of dyes and perfumes yet left my clothes bright and clean. Great for families with sensitive skin or skin allergies. If you’re like me, sensitive to smells, then you will appreciate this product. I don’t get the headaches from the heavy perfumes that a lot of detergents have. Tide free and clear cleans without all the extra additives. It’s clear and simple and that’s plenty for us.

First of all this Tide Free and Gentle has an amazing scent. I know that you are thinking, "It's has no fragrance!" And you are correct! However, this Tide Free and Gentle smells, well there is no other way to put it but, "Clean". Living in a household where everyone is allergic to everything has its challenges. However, this is one challenge that I am happy to remove from my list. This Tide Free and Gentle does an EXCELLENT JOB at not only cleaning colored clothing but, also whites which is a huge plus considering that using bleach is not an option. This is my new "MUST HAVE".

Amazing Laundry Detergent
After one wash with the Tide Free and Gentle detergent, I was amazed by its cleaning power. Before I tried this product, I was worried that the cleaning power would be less efficient compared to the other detergents on the market. However, with no perfume and dyes to trick your brain by smelling like detergent, this Tide free and gentle proves its cleaning power silently. I specifically love using this detergent to wash intimate cloths. These cloths are bras and underwear goes to the most sensitive parts of our bodies. I think it would be most ideal if these cloth gets washed by the cleanest and least chemical detergent. You can smell the natural freshness after washing. This product is ideal for intimate cloths and baby cloths. I would definitely recommend the product to a friend or relative.

I was skeptical of Tide Free & Gentle High Efficiency Laundry Detergent at first but then I tried it on our laundry and As a mother of 4 rowdy kids I am very amazed and happy with the results! No skin irratations, no rashes no worries on the little ones skin, and Tide Free & Gentle High Efficiency detergent really cleaned our laundry and smells amazing!!

Tried it. Liked it. Wife liked it!
Son and wife have skin sensitivity issues, so finding a detergent that we all like can be tough.
We also have a HE machine, so we have to limit ourselves there.
I waited to review this product until we each have had a handful of clothes washed with Tide Free & Gentle.
We have. There have been NO issues. Clothes come out clean and smelling nice. Washed our whites, our delicates, our "normals".
We washed work clothes, wear around clothes, and our sports clothes...and trust me, with a 16 year old boy on his high school boy's basketball team, who spends HOURS in a hot sweaty gym on the weekends....so much so that he STINKS when he gets done and sits in the vehicle and we ALL have to roll down the windows, this detergent was put TO.THE.TEST. Verdict: It's all good.
So good, in fact, that the wife has already gone out to buy another bottle for when this one is gone.
So, if you want clean clothes, if you have, or even if you don't have, issues with your skin or allergies, then this is a great choice for you as well!

Skip the Second Rinse Cycle
Tide Free & Gentle is Awesome! A second rinse is no longer needed! With a family full of boys and sensitive skin, Tide Free & Gentle gets clothes clean without the irritation other detergents cause. It cleans the mess and dirt out, while leaving our clothes fresh and soft.

I'm not sure why I didnt come across Tide Free and Gentle sooner! It's a great product. It removed the toughest stains on my daugters' clothes(They can be real messy). Its scent free, which is a great plus for my daughters' skin. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for the moms and dads out there!

Tide free & gentle is a really great product. I like the fact that I do not need a lot of detergent to get my clothes clean and that it is not as harsh as other detergent on the market. It is very good that I can have my clothes washed once and not have to perform an extra rince because it seems like my clothes is still soapy. I would recommend this to my friend and family members because of the fact that your clothes really smell clean and fresh and they look clean.

Never using this again because of the poor redesign of the bottle/cap. Detergent gets caught on the edges of cap instead of emptying, runs down the side getting all over my hands and the bottle

I tried everything and I went back to Tide,the only thing that its expensive ,so I only by it when its on sale.wish the prices are a little down .other than that , Nothing clean clothes like Tide

Tide HE Free & Gentle quality
Have been using Tide HE Free & Gentle for years. Today when I ran short, I opened a new Tide which was cloudy & dark yellow in color. Did not use it. Noticed this is not the first complaint.

My mother used Tide so I of course use Tide. Nothing cleans or smells clean like Tide. My skin appreciates Tide. No itching or allergy related reactions. Fantastic product,nothing beats Tide.
