Trip Lite TLP606 Surge Protector
I use this product as an outlet for my digital tv, cable set top box and dvd/vcr recorder combo. It works great. I have had no problems. I highly recommend it.

I replaced 14 Belkin UPS units with the Tripp-Lite TLP606 surge protector power strips and never looked back. Unlike the UPS it replaces the Tripp-Lite's have prevented our PC power supply units from failing.

Unlike other less expensive units, this one seems to be well made. The on/off switches on other units I've used seemed to fail. So far so good with this one.

I didn't need something "fancy" but wanted a good product to protect electronics .. this fits the bill .. and LOVE that I can register them online and have records of the purchases easily available.

It is the first product of Tripp-Lite I have and I so happy to have it. It looks very nice and is well-designed. The power control with breaker prevents overload. The designed transformer outlet will provide convenient usage with blocking other outlets. I love it. I would like to have the second and third products of TRIPP-LITE.

Right Device at Right Price
The TLP606 Protect It! Surge Suppressor does what the literature says it will, at a price that's competitive with No Name brands. Tripp-Lite makes quality electrical protection devices for a variety of applications. I've used their products for nearly 30 years without any issues.

I was "over" replacing my refrigerator GE Refrigerator motherboard after the second time, due to the electricity going out and then when service was returned it burned out or damaged the motherboard to the tune of $250. each time.

Excellent size and length
This surge protector is perfect for my living room. Even though I can mount it on the wall or desk, which I may still, the white cord fits nicely behind my new white accent table. I have my computer cords ( I use two laptops) already plugged in, nicely wrapped and ready to connect under the sofa when needed. Now I can work in my favorite spot, turn the switch on, and not have to connect the cords each time my battery gets low. I work for long spans doing research papers. I prefer to pull only what I need from my office and hide materials from site in custom organized areas around my comfy furniture. This is a fantastic addition to having my systems in place. The cord length, slim design, and sophisticated color make it perfect for my custom workplace. I use surge devices in other rooms for electronics, but this is the first one that fits well with the dЕЅcor. The other protector in the room is hidden by my entertainment center. Thank you for making such a nice cord.

My computer was fried due to the power going out in my area. Now that I have this surge protector I feel relieved and my computer is now protected. No more worries and I do not have to replace my computer ever again. What a relief.

If you look closely at the guarantee you will find that there are so many ifs, ands and buts that it doesn't really cover much of anything. That aside, if you understand that these (and most Surge Protectors) will not protect you from lighting strike surges, these are a fair deal - not spectacular, but fair. They will help protect from regular power fluctuations. To get good surge protection, you need to invest in either an uninterrupted power supply unit (for other tan appliances) or a whole house surge protector installed at the main breaker box. The whole house option is probably the best, and really, it doesn't cost any more than a new fridge or other expensive electrical item.

Good product for a good price
I bought it for work - to plug in PC, MacBook and peripherals. Works great; almost a year - no accidents so far. Also, worth mentioning - the cord is just the right length. The price is great. What else do you want?

I purchased several of these for our offices and they are great. The chord length works for every workstation I ran one to. The heavily insulated chord can take a beating and I don't have to worry about it wearing out or breaking. And the narrow outlet design allows this surge protector to be slid behind a door or next to a desk out of the way.

Great Surge Suppressor nice price
We bought 6 of these after Sandy. All of the other ones in our house burned out and one did not protect our stove these were from another company and twice the price for the same amount of joules. So far they are working great. Love the warranty. the 6 foot cord is perfect for anywhere in the house. If it is too long just coil it up. Reaches most other places so it can be hidden will buy again if needed.

Great Product for the Price
The surge protector does what it is meant to do. There is only one "Protected" LED light. I wish that it had a "Grounded" LED light too. There's a transformer plug at the end which is large enough to have a Mac (Magsafe) charger there without it pulling out too often because the surge protector extends for a few more inches after the plug.
I advise that you know what you're looking for in a product because if you have 6 Mac Magsafe 85W adapters, 6 of them won't fit on this one because the plugs are on top of each other instead of left and right of each other. Since, I only really have one Magsafe charger and normal plug ins, I'm set and this is a really good product.
My only problem is that this isn't in pure white. It has an offwhite plastic color. However, that isn't a problem at all. So, overall, you should get it if you get a good price for it.

smart looking piece of equipment.
The surge suppressor appears to be well designed, and executed. It is easy to set-up and use.. the 15 Amp./790 joules rating is sufficient for most small office uses...

Living in a rural small town we have to live with lightning strikes, fallen tree limbs in hilly terrain and not to mention an occasional squirrel shorting out a trans former. I have several units I use on TV, Radios, etc. Over the years the units have paid off in the long run. They have been use for at least 6 years.

The TLP606 is a great surge protector. I use two of them to protect a high end stereo, plasma TV, and a high performance computer. This product was exactly what I wanted and at a good price. I trust the Tripp Lite brand. Many power strips have a cord that is too short. This one has a 6 foot cord which works for me.

This product comes exactly how it is shown in the image. It works perfectly well and it's last outlet is very convenient especially for Macbook users as it fits the charger perfectly well without it hanging on the side. It's surge protector works well and is overall worth the price! I recommend this product to everyone looking for a good, reliable and reasonable extension cord.

I bought this to protect my entertainment systems. I like to watch movies on a rainy day. However, watching a movie on a rainy day brings risks especially when its stormy. Having this surge protector gives me piece of mind that my hardware wont burn out while I'm cozying up to a good horror movie on a dark stormy night

Trustworth!! I bet my job on it.
When I first started my new job one of my responsibilities was to find reliable and capable surge protection for our accounting office printer. I was told that this printer was super expensive and if something happened to it due to a power surge, I wouldn't be around very long. So after some research, I went with the TPL606 and after some very questionable power activity in the accounting office, I'm still employed. I highly recommend this product for both reliability and price.

Glad to have the $20,000 Warranty
My last surge protector (not a Tripp Lite) blew in a lightning storm and very nearly caused a fire. I purchased this surge protector because of Tripp Lite's $20,000 warranty, which gives me peace of mind in knowing that my electronics will be replaced if anything goes wrong. The warranty registration process was very quick and easy, unlike the warranty registration process for many other products in general. Glad I bought from Tripp Lite.

This has been doing what it needs to do ever since I bought it. Not sure what else to say. Has there ever been a power surge? I have no idea. But I have no complaints with this product, so if you need a power strip with surge protection at a good price, this is it.

Should I Hope for a Power Surge?
Since Tripp Lite provides the $20K insurance policy? At the moment, I have a (pricey) alkaline water filter connected to it in the kitchen on a circuit that was having trouble because of a short circuit in the outlet. I recently installed this item with some difficulty because there was not template that I could find. I'm using it intermittently for kitchen appliances with no problems. I guess the real feature is the peace of mind in case something does go wrong.

I am mostly satisfied with this product. I use it mainly to protect my laptop, and it works wonderfully. Rhe cord is super long so i can take my laptop all over my room and still have it plugged into this surge protector. The only issue I have with it is minor: some of the voltage ratings printed on the side of the device are a little higher than what is posted on the website. Still better than most voltage ratings though.

A definite workhorse. No frills, but nice a clean looking. I like that this model comes with differing cord lengths so that you can choose one that works best for you. Nothing bothers me more than having to deal with a lot of extra (stiff and inflexible) cord to the sure protector! While I've [thankfully] never had a claim, Tripp Lite's registration process was quite professional and gives me confidence that they'll back their products.

We bought this surge protector from our phone company years
When it failed to protect our modem and router they reibursed us for hte router and the shipping. But the phone co replaced their modem for free. For 9 years it has protected us.

Way too often Miami lightning storms and surges, coupled with the need to protect tv and stereo, as well as gaining easy access to shut down equipment since they are in a wall unit with really impossible access to the wall outlet makes this purchase a no brainer. This gives me peace of mind when I am not in Miami and gives me the ease of a readily accessable on/off switch for my TV and stereo. The Tripplite warranty is the icing on the cake. Don't think twice, buy a couple.

I did not buy this from a store, our phone company got it for us to protect our computer and DSL internet, which runs through the phone line. I got it as advised from the phone company representative, and I respect his advice!. The other surge protector did not have phone line jacks and this one does.
