Recommended by my dermatologist for my skin. I have irritating bumps on my arms & legs. I have been using Dove Sensitive skin for 4 years & my skin loves me for the switch. Wouldn't exclude it from my daily routine.

I have very sensitive skin and Dove is the only soap i can use. I actually liked the original version better than this. This wasn't bad it just didn't make my skin feel as great and fresh as the original did. But for those with sensitive skin it can't hurt.

Living in a dry area, my skin becomes dry easily. I am also sensitive to fragrances and perfumes as well as any off scents. I have been happily using the product for years but when I purchased it recently I noticed right away that something had changed. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to use this soap as I cannot stand the scent it now has. I already looked for alternatives in the local health food stores and found a new unscented product that is more affordable than most of the options but still more expensive than Dove.

New scent smells like Crayons...alas
This has been my go to soap for 15 + years. I bought and returned 6 boxes of the Soap from 3 stores. I thought it had gone "Off". Alas, the New scent is so Offensive that I am searching for a New Brand. Please bring back the old scent so I can return!

For some time now, the soap does not lather like before. The last half of the soap is weak. We now get only 4 oz. instead of 4 1/4 oz. for the same price. I would pay more if it was like it was a few years ago. I understand inflation, but you have cheapened the soap. I end up throwing a third of the bar away.

I bought this version of Dove for my sister-in-law over a year ago. She has really sensitive scent and breaks out when using scented soaps. She loved this! "It's wonderful!" she squealed. I have it in my Dove rotation even though it's unscented. It works great!

I struggled for years trying different soaps finally I tried dove and its the BEST. My skin is flawless and I recently started using it on my face and it didn't disappoint! The scent is clean and soft too.

Good for sensitive skin, but wish it was a better moisturizing soap
I have been a user of Dove soap for years because it does not cause me to have an allergic reaction (skin rashes, burning sensation, skin irritations) unlike soaps made by other companies I have tried. My only dissatisfaction is my skin does feel dry after using Dove. So recently I strayed and tried a competitor's moisturizing soap that contains just three ingredients: saponified olive oil, water, and sodium chloride, which I found to be a better moisturizing soap than Dove, but the olive oil soap caused me to develop a full body rash. So I am back to using reliable Dove for sensitive skin. I just follow it immediately with a body lotion.

I have extreme sensitive skin. This is the only product that works. It leaves me feeling clean but doesn't dry my skin. I don't use anything but dove sensitive skin beauty bar. I use this on my body and its by far my favorite part of a bath or shower.

Bring back the original formula!
Dove bath soap bars (For Sensitive Skin) was always my favorite bath soap and I've used it for many years. Then in 2012-13 you apparently changed the formula. Now instead of being basically un-scented...there is a strange burnt smell aroma after I shower. A search of the Internet & your 'product reviews section' suggest that the formula was somehow changed. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA !!!

The formula has changed and not for the better!
My family and I have used Dove Sensitive Skin for decades at the advice of our dermatologist. I have very sensitive skin and one of my children has eczema. But lately all of us had noticed that the lathering capabilities of the soap had lessened and the bar feels a bit different as you lather too. Went online and others are reporting the same AND in some cases finding the new formula irritating! Change back Dove! Until you do I am in search of a soap that mimics your old formula.

Keeps skin soft and mosturized

Best Sensitive Beauty Bar Soap Ever!!!!!!
About 2 years ago I was recommend by my gynecologist to use this soap and that this soap is the best to use for woman alone with using it for your private area, and I have to say she was correct and I have been using it ever since and need to say I don't use nothing or anything else, I even use the body wash as well. I would recommend this to ALL women and I have recommended to my friends, family and church members, the only down side about this great product is that it's not sold everywhere which it need to be. But needless to say is that you won't be disappointment, I haven't been.

I love Dove sensitive skin bar soap
Dove is my number one choice when purchasing bar soap and the only soap that I will wear. I love your product I just recently switched from dove white to Dove sensitive skin and I love it even more.

I'm have super sensitive skin. Almost anything irritates it. This is the only soap I can use that has no effect on my skin. It's also great on my face as a cleanser too! I would highly recommend this soap to anyone who has sensitive skin!

Unscented is WONDERFUL!!!
I've used this soap for years, it's just wonderful to not be assaulted by all those strong perfumes and artificial fragrances . . . and I wish you would bring back the fragrance-free hypoallergenic antiperspirant too.
There's a growing community of people out there who just can't handle all that perfume, cater to us Dove!!!

Excellent for Sensitive Skin
I have very sensitive skin and Dove Unscented is the only soap I can use in the shower with no rashes, breakouts, or itch. I have been happily using it for seven years and will continue to do so forever.

I had tried EVERYTHING...
and was using something more "expensive" thinking that I had found the answer. My face, which finds itself in its early 50s, suddenly went from oily to dry and flaky, almost overnight. It was sensitive and even when I washed with the "gentlest" of cleansers, it would feel tight and dry. I read an article in a magazine where a dermatologist in her 40s uses this very soap on her face. She can certainly afford more than I can, and yet chooses this soap. So, I gave it a whirl and WOW. I'm covered for the rest of my life, it's a pleasure to use and no dry, flakies anymore! Thank you Dove!!!

the ONLY soap that keepsy skin flawless
I have tried every acne treatment, overy the counter and prescription, and this is the only thing that keeps my face completly spot free. I love the sensitive body wash too. Amazing product! Wish I had found this out before now.

I use the bars for facial cleansing only and find they seem to harden(dry out) in like the older formula. Do not like that you have made bars smaller for women's brands and mens brands are the old full size bars.

Great TRULY UNSCENTED bar
This is one of the few truly fragrance free bars out there. The "odd smell" some are complaining about is simply the smell of the ingredients of the bar. It is not offensive, and does not stay on your skin after you rinse the soap off. Other unscented products use masking fragrances to cover up this odor, but Dove, focusing on the needs of sensitive skin people, has wisely chosen not to go this path! Thanks Dove!

The peau soap is not unscented
I like Dove unscented soap but Dove unscented peau soap is not unscented.
Unscented means NO SCENT. The peau scent STINKS.
Now I will have to find anther soap that is totally unscented.

I cannot stop smooching my boyfriend lol. And every time I tell him he's so kissable he alway answers "it's Dove" and let me tell you he will only use your sensitive skin bar. NOTHING else. I think some of it is genetics but he insists it is your product. Thanks for making him so kissable.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
I have used Dove Unsented Bars for Sensitive Skin for years because it is the one soap that doesn't have a scent and doesn't make me itch. Looks like those days are over. The new EIGHT PACK I purchased last week has a terrible scent! I will not be able to use any of it. I even had my boyfriend change to this soap at his house! Why was it changed? Please notify me if there is any way I can get a refund. I am so sad about the change. :(

What does it matter

I've heard that rubbing a bar of soap on your legs when they cramp will alleviate the cramps. So I grabbed a bar of Dove to try that theory out. It did not help, but I figured that was a long shot. I put up the soap and when I went to wash my hands I rubbed my face and caught a wife of my hand - AWFUL!!! The smell that the Dove bar left behind on my hand was that of dried vomit! It made me gag to the point where I thought I might actually puke. Even after I washed my hands with fragrant hand soap, the nasty Dove smell remained. So I Googled if it was actually soap, because I figured a real cleaning agent shouldn't smell like that, eapecially one you use on your body. From my brief Googling, it seems that the Dove Beauty Bar is not really soap at all. In fact, your website even says it's not soap.
So since it's not a soap, what is it REALLY doing to my body when I rub it all over my skin?
Or am I wrong? Is it a soap?
10/10 would NEVER buy again.

Residue free and no itching. Great for sensitive skin. Fresh woodsy scent. Lathers great and cleans well. I love this soap and also the Dove White Original bar, which is so fabulous on my face. My two favorite soaps and they're all I need!

Sensitive skin bar has recently been improved
I bought a new 6-pack of Dove Sensitive Skin bars and noticed the ingredients listed on the wrapper had changed slightly. Maltol (the flavor-enhancer that had actually been used as a fragrance in this soap bar) is no longer listed. The Sensitive Skin soap bar is now really scent-free. Absolutely no fragrance at all. It's terrific. And glycerine has now been added as one of the ingredients. It's probably just a touch of glycerine but it seems to help. My skin has never felt better.

I've always had acne on my face, but recently my face has gone CRAZY with painful cystic acne. I used a product recently that gave me a sort of allergic reaction that caused me to get these tiny bumps ALL OVER my face. Someone recommended to me to use a simple dove bar to calm my skin down, which I was surprised at; I thought dove was just for your body! But I bought it and started using it with my basic benzyl peroxide spot treatment. Immediately I was impressed at the feel of the bar on my skin. It felt nourishing and cleaning at the same time! I didn't feel the need to use my regular moisturizer or toner, so I ditched them! Soon, the tiny bumps on my face disappeared, and a week later, my regular zits faded away and my cystic acne was MUCH better. I think if I keep using it, it'll clear my skin completely. I've always heard that "less is more" but never believed it! If you have been in search for something that is simple and effective, I would definitely recommend this to you!

Very smooth and gentle to my skin. It does feel like I rub on misturizer. It has a really light and fresh smell and I use it quite often, most of the time when I feel like my skin is dry and needs some pampering

I don’t know why, but I trust bar soap better that liquid wash. Dove is the only brand that doesn’t leave a dry feeling on the skin. It feels so nice and smooth. Highly recommend!

I have used this product for over ten years! I have ezczema and very dry skin in the winter, and my daughter has extremely sensitive skin and has since she was a baby! This cleans, lathers well, and leaves a fresh feel every single time!

I have a combination (normal to oily) skin so it didn't suit me well. But it is great for dry skin because it moisturizes the skin very well. It is great to use in winters when your skin is dry and tends to be flakey.

Dove has become one of our go to favorites as adults and also for our children. The smells are the light, and crisp, but refreshing. I typically hold out for a good coupon is the multi pack is expensive in my opinion. Overall a good product that I will continue to buy!

This soap was okay. Honestly it just got the job done but it was spectacular though. I probably wouldn't purchase it again because it does have any smell and plus it was kind of overly priced. I recommend if you like non scented soaps. I would like it if you guys created a sensitive skin soap that actually smelt good.

Dove products are always a guaranty to be non allergic so it's safe for grown ups and children, it doesn't dry out the skin and doesn't make it more greasy and it's very decent in price, not expensive at all and l'd recommend it to everybody !

I love this beauty bar. This is also one of my faves. The pros are that it is great for any skin type and you can use it on any part of your body, even for those parts that you have to kind of be careful with when you use products with a smell. But this product is not like that it works beautifully and i would recommend this to anyone.

It smells delicious and makes my skin really good. When i finished to use this soap i felt clean and fresh. This soap doesn´t dry my face. I’ve been using this on my face too other soaps burn my skin and breaks it out, my face been looking good since this soap?.

I love these bars because they last me a very long time and a little product goes a long way. I have had issues with itchy/irritated skin after showering, and since I’ve started using this product it has gotten so much better.

I use this bar on my granddaughter mostly who has sensitive skin & this product works very well for her. She lost most of her small intestine at a very early age, so she spends a lot of time in the bathroom. This product does not irritate the sensitive areas due to the need for frequent bathing. I use it on our faces as well for a good clean.

I have extremely sensitive skin and I recently found out Dove made bar soap for sensitive skin. Dove Beauty bar soap has been the only bar soap I've ever used and I will continue to purchase the Sensitive Skin Dove bar soap. It leaves my body moisturized and so soft. 100% recommended! My boyfriend uses this and likes it. He has sensitive/easily dried skin. So, we both have to take our time, trying to find products that will not dry out his skin.

I use this product because I have sensitive skin and I heard that bar soap is less harsh than liquid soap. It does the job and I really enjoy the smell of it. I found the pricing very affordable so this is my go-to daily cleanser. I would recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin

I’m trying very had to move away from harsh chemicals products and I started using bar soap instead of body gels . This soap is gentle and effective. I find the soap to be long lasting and I would definitely recommend.

I love this deodorant! It’s so much better and stronger than women’s deodorants. The smell is great and isn’t too manly. So it was not obvious that I was using a men’s product.

I love all of Dove’s products - and their traditional blue bar in the original scent is my favorite - that being said, the sensitive skin bar feels lighter, smoother, and is highly recommended for those of us who suffer from skin conditions, including eczema.

Great product. I use it daily and even shave with it. It doesn’t dry out your skin like most other bar soaps. My husband, who has sensitive skin, is the one who introduced me to it and I love it. If you are sensitive to scents, it barely has one. I definitely recommend it.

The sensitive dove bars are fantastic. It is gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin. I haven’t been able to find any other soap that doesn’t irritate my skin. This is the only soap I use!

Dove is the best bar soap. It helps greatly with my sensitive skin, and keeps away dryness. I have been using for years now. Highly effective, and never dissappoints. Dove is very affordable, and fits my budget. I would strongly recommend dove.

This bar soap is amazing for someone who has sensitive skin. I love that this soap doesn't have a strong scent, doesn't strip your skin, and leaves your skin feeling clean and smooth. used this tonight and my face is so soft and it feels so clean. It feels so moisturized and it was even more gentle than the cleansers I use. I love it so far will update the review in a week for further results.

Been using this for over a year.
I started using this when i was getting tired of the shower gel bottles breaking in my bag. As an over-the-road trucker, I have to carry a shower bag with me on the truck and in/out of truck stop showers. The bar of soap is light and doesn’t spill. But that’s a moot point as the benefits to my skin have been far-reaching. I appreciate the fragrance free. I especially like th fact the bar lathers up and can tackle grease, diesel, as well as all the places a man gets dirty with ease. Even a guy can feel dirty sometimes, and after using this product in the shower; I feel refreshed and clean. Plus it’s great for the skin. Why go to the boutique stores and spend a ton on products by some designer filled with empty promises?

I have been using the Sensitive Unscented bars for decades. The formula has changed slightly over the years, but it always worked best for me. Any time I’ve tried something else my skin either felt dried out or greasy, even with facial washes that promised to be gentle. Now Dove is cruelty free, so that nagging guilt in the back of my mind for using my favorite cleanser is completely gone! Bar cleansers are good for the planet, too. Thank you for a quality product with such good company campaigns. My dermatologist has always approved of Dove.

I love this soap. Leaves me clean and fresh and leaves no residue. I have converted my husband to this soap. Its also for sensitive skin so there is no irritation like other brands with excessive perfumes and no-products.

I have used this brand of bar soap for many years. It makes my skin feel clean without drying out my skin. It lathers good and has a pleasant smell. It does not leave a soap smell on your skin and has kep my skin moisturizer after my shower. Inexpensive and a great product.

This is a great soap to keep around for anyone who has allergies and is prone to break out with scented soap. It doesnt keep a film on your skin and it is very affordable. I recommend it to anyone who cant handle the highly scented soaps

I have very sensitive skin and tend to break out in hives with many soaps, detergents and deodorants. Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar is hypoallergenic and fragrance-free so its extra gentle on skin and doesn't leave me with a rash. It creates and luxurious lather.

i literally dont use any other soap or deodorant. the sensitive skin was the best thing dove invented. dove is a great brand already because of my eczema but when i found out they had a sensitive skin kind i fell in love. my eczema loves this soap. i love that its mild and doesnt have a fragrance.

I am a nurse and mother. I have used this on my newborn babies right up until they start to crawl. Incredibly gentle. We tried once the baby dove stuff- it was good too, but this I felt was better, and “tender” if that makes sense. \
My husband has used it for himself, I have used it on myself... it’s great. That’s just all there is to it.

This is the only bar soap I use now and the only one I trust. My skin is sensitive and this does not cause me to itch. I also feel good about using it on my toddler. It smells clean and good even though it's essentially fragrance free. It goes on so soft that it is hard to use another brand after trying this

Great Bar Soap! My dermatologist recommended Dove for Sensitive Skin many years ago. Only bar soap I will use on my sensitive skin. Thoroughly rinses off without stripping natural oils. Nondrying especially on facial skin. Highly recommend. Great price deal.
