Chlorine-free for sensitive skin
I had to find toilet paper that doesn't use chlorine because I have extremely sensitive skin. This one works great without causing irritation. It's not as soft as the "mega roll' brands, but it's totally worth the trade off. It's just a bonus that it's recycled!

We buy in bulk and have been long-time purchasers, very happy with this product. Not anymore. This product has gone through a noticeable change, and is now too thin for its intended purpose. If things return to the customary thickness, we'll post again and return as customers. Otherwise, we'll have to find another solution.

I have been using seventh generation for years. I have extremely sensitive skin and issues with every other Toilet paper I have used except this one, that was until the product revamp. The new paper is very thin and extremely rough. I had to stop using it because it caused so much irritation to my most sensitive skin. I am still searching for a replacement.

After 15-years we're changing our TP
The recent change in Seventh Gen TP are hideous. Rougher, thinner, and fewer sheets per roll. Marketing team needs to use product because package claims are out and out false. The same is true with the natural paper towels. Worthless.

We love this brand and the toilet paper has always been our favorite. Until now. The redesign is terrible- much thinner and rougher. Unfortunately we will be switching after all this time.

It really does pain me to give any seventh generation product a bad review because I am a die heart user of almost all their products but I’m in the group of really disappointed customers after the changes they’ve made to the paper. Here’s to hoping it changes back..

Switching brads after several years
The "upgrades" clearly had negative results in the quality, you can see that based on other reviews. Disappointed that I will have to switch products. Please bring back the old manufacturer & I will come back. Thanks!

Good for the Earth, good for me
We switched to 7th Generation to support a better product for the environment. There are a lot of complaints about comfort and other luxury qualities.\
\
Bottom line, this paper works well, it's comfy to use, and it's environmentally responsible. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to help reduce plastic waste or to make a more conscious effort to care for our planet.

I have been a customer of Seventh Generation products for over 10 years due to the environmental consciousness of the company and products. However, I am completely dismayed at the recent change for cases of toilet paper to be provided in PLASTIC WRAP. I am sure this is to reduce costs, but especially in this day and age when plastic waste is so clearly a major environmental problem, I can't believe SG has stooped to single use, non recyclable plastic, that most assuredly will end up in land fills. I will be changing to a no plastic product.

I just recently got my first pack of Seventh Generation toilet tissue from Grove Collective. I am so pleased with the quality of the product. Not only is it soft and strong but I know that I'm not contributing to the deforestation of this planet.

Not much you can say about toilet paper but I am very satisfied. Some recycled paper tends to be very linty and melts when wet but this product is very agreeable from all corners and makes you feel better about helping the environment every step of the way

I picked this up not expecting it to bee good, but boy, was I wrong! This bath tissue is a good price, environmentally friendly, and does not let you down when you need it most...if you catch my drift! ;)

This is a solid bathroom tissue. Gets the job done, while still being gentle. This is the only bathroom tissue I trust for my family. The price is a little up there, but because it is an 100% recycled product, I feel good about purchasing it. Would love an alternative to the plastic outer packaging, though.

ugh these fell apart and it made me mad. They didn't really hold up like regular toilet paper do and they felt a bit like soft leaves at the same time. i wish it could be environmentally friendly while also doing a good job. I found i had to use two to three times as much to get the same job done.

Good enough for me. Haven’t use anything else since I switched. I find nothing wrong with the quality. Probably because there’s always a sacrifice for quality products.

Just like any other toliet paper. Nothing really stood out about this product, and I could most definitely get that point across in much less character Than 85. The minimum character limit is absolutely ridiculous, and works against the purpose of having useful reviews! I good review can be short, sweet and to the point!

I love using seventh generation products and this is one I use regularly. I alternate between the recycled bathroom tissue and the unbleached recycled bathroom tissue. They both work great and they are both much better for the environment.

Love these... Super soft. Makes me feel better to know I'm purchasing this product. I enjoy this brand's products in general. Mostly this toilet paper flushes easy., without a lot of clogging. So it has my vote.

Current 2-ply is terrible
Since these reviews combine old reviews and reviews for 1-ply, I’d like to clarify that this review is for 100% recycled 2-ply bought in Aug. 2019. I have been buying Seventh Generation TP off and on for years (both 1 and 2 ply versions). They have gone off track with this current product. It is one of the worst 2-ply TPs I have ever used (my husband concurs). It is soft enough, but it shreds like crazy. And you have to use more than normal; then hope it doesn’t break through as you are wiping. On top of that, there are only 240 sheets per roll. Those sheets are rolled extremely loosely to give the impression of a full roll but don’t be fooled. Between the need to use more and the small amount per roll, you will be replacing the roll almost twice as often as usual. Will not be buying again!

Love that this toilet paper is recycled because I want to lighten my impact on the planet. It does the job. I just wish it was softer and thicker.
