We have used several APC products through the years. I like this one as it takes less space than others and works great. I will be buying more.

I've used APC back up power supplies in the past. Gotten away from it for awhile, mostly due to laziness. But then we had 3 power failures in one afternoon, so I realized it was time to get another back up supply. APC has always been great so I bought a BE600M1. No problems installing. Everything seemed straight forward. Now, however, after it being in for a couple of days, I do have a concern with it going into sleep mode in relatively short time. And this morning was a real issue as it went into sleep mode and when I tried to get it out, it immediately returned to sleep mode........within 5 seconds. \
it's a great product and I like the piece of mind that it gives me. But I'm now thinking of uninstalling the software and disconnecting the usb cable. As long as it continues to give power when the power goes out,it'll do it';s job. I just need enough time to walk into the room and turn the computer off manually. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The software is too complicated and not user friendly.

I'm using this unit to protect my DVR and receiver because a even a momentary interruption in the power will cause the receiver to reboot which I find a real pain. I purchased this unit because I had an old APC unit in the same place but it finally gave up. I don't know how old the old unit was but I would guess about 20 years old. I've always used APC products when I could get them. I have a different APC backup on my computer. I've never had a problem with APC products and don't expect to with this one.

Purchase for mobile workstation: laptop, two monitors, support items and BE600M1 does not have the power to last for a few seconds if main power is disconnected before BE600M1 is turned off. Very disappointed.

This UPS is great for the common business workstation. No frills, just reliable protection.

We deploy these for our standard desktop installation. The USB port on these are a plus for my clients!

The BE600M1 is a great UPS for a desktop or workstation. I like the compact size and the handy USB charging port.

My smaller customer's are very please with these and have never had any issues. I would recommend to other customers.

These are always reliable for doing set-ups for residential customers. Haven't had one fail at all. Overall a great product!

I received this APC backUPS a few weeks ago and had my computer plugged into it. A storm hit just last week and we lost power for a whole week! I plugged my phone into the UPS as well as my computer and I was able to get news updates from our governor about shelters and when it was safe to go outside. I've already bought another for my wife's computer in the den! I highly recommend this to anyone who is under threat of losing power!

Solid battery backup with USB support for software shutdown. I have replaced over 200 battery backups with these units and have not been disappointed.

I have been using this as a backup power unit on a media cart I use for machine programming and development. I move this around a lot and having both the surge protection and UPS available when connecting to different equipment, some which do not have a power supply available. I can gain extended time when necessary and know my laptop is protected.

Nice combination of surge protection and battery backup. Like the small footprint for the total solution also.
