I only buy dark roast coffee, but since I like Crispy CrГЁme donuts I thought I would try the coffee. I was so surprised that I loved this light roast. Delicious, smooth and robust.

Love, love, love this coffee!
I don't like bitter, acidic, smokey coffee. This coffee is exactly the opposite of these characteristics in flavor and body. It is smooth and has a lovely rich coffee flavor. I often get headaches from coffee, but this one doesn't do that, plus it gives me just enough caffeine to help get me going in the morning. I will definitely be getting more of this coffee in the future!

I must have gotten a bad batch
I almost ordered two boxes based on the rave reviews, I am sure glad I did not. I thought it was horribly bitter. I will stick with emerils or donut shop.

This purchase was a waste of money. Absolutely no flavor when brewing a medium cup. Watery when brewed on small cup. I will use the grounds to fertilize my flowers.

Decided to try this because the few times I have eaten Krispy CrГЁme Donuts they were very good. Cannot say the same for the coffee. Way too weak and flavorless unlike the donuts

Excellent Light Roast Coffee
I love Krispy Kreme Smooth--I'll never use any other in my Keurig if this is available. Please note that I am a fan of light roast coffees and do not like darker roasts. If you are a fan of medium/dark/strong coffee, this is NOT the coffee for you, but if you like smooth, light roasts without a bitter flavor, this is perfection.

I'm always having a hard time finding this in the brick and mortar stores but no more! Didn't know it was on the list here till now! Great thing about this coffee is that it tastes just like the in-store cup! Not common for brick and mortar brands! Love it!

4 1/2 stars...are you kidding me!
I bought this product mainly because of the name and it had at least 4 1/2 stars. Made my first cup this morning and it disappointed me. Very little taste, no aroma, not good at all. No one should have to drink this "coffee" :(

I was really excited about the Krispy Kreme brand, but was very disappointed once I tried it. Drinking it black is about the only way to get the full taste and even then it still tastes watered down. No nice aroma to get you going in the morning either; better off actually going to a Krispy Kreme. Seeing the rest of the high star reviews makes me think I got a bad batch, but I can't see how all 18 in a pack could be bad.

I used to drink Caribou then switched to Donut House and now I'm thinking of adding KK to the lineup. It's light roasted but still very good. I gave my brother a few samples to try and he's a Dunkin Donuts fanatic. He actually said he really liked KK and thought about switching.

This is a good coffee for guests who are lightweights. It's never bitter, never too strong, yet does not come a cross as weak. I would suggest always keeping some of this on hand.

Since purchasing my Keurig several years ago, I have been looking for a good light coffee. I tried every brand but nothing was mild or mellow enough for me. Well, finally, Krispy Kreme did it!! I love it so much and am so happy I can enjoy coffee again without having to brew it! Thanks Krispy Kreme!!!

This Krispy Kreme smooth is very smooth, creamy and smells so good. Being a creamer fanatic, I did add a little plain creamer to this. It makes me feel like I would love to be in the middle of a Krispy Kreme shop surrounded by donuts while sipping this delicious tasting and smelling coffee. As you can see I am happy to have purchased this coffee. It is the Goldilock's pick of coffees because it is just right. There is no bitterness and no burn in my tummy. It could only be greater if there was a donut in my other hand. I found a favorite in this one.

This coffee is soo good, i feel the need to review it which is something i rarely ever do for anything! lol I buy a lot of different coffees, and this one is a new favorite im actually on here to order more! I could drink this all day everyday. \
I add a little vanilla torani surup, sugar and a splash of half & half = perfection!

One of my favorite coffee's
I recently purchased these KCups on the reviews alone and I am happy that I did! This has to be one of my new favorite coffee's. It says that it is a light roast but I would easily say that it is medium. Great flavor. I will definitely buy these again!!!

I had a Keurig a while back and had donated it to a friend that had a house fire. Recently, for my bridal shower I received a new one as a gift. I don't know why I didn't try this coffee sooner but it's definitely my #1 now! The taste is amazing and it's a good morning coffee

Is KK Classic the same as KK Smooth?
Long time KK Smooth drinker (light roast). I think KK Smooth was renamed to Classic and I received an email saying it was the same coffee and same great taste. But Classic is a medium roast so isn't it a stronger coffee?

I decided to try the new Classic Blend not knowing Krispey Kreme was going to do away with the Smooth blend. It is not the same and the taste is bland and bitter. Pay attention Keurig and bring back the Smooth blend or this coffee lover wil be leaving.

Why aren't they telling us the truth!?!? The smooth was my all-time favorite...it is gone despite what they are saying. I now will look for a different coffee....what a shame! Just please tell us the truth — And bring back the SMOOTH!!!

This coffee is NOT the same!
I tried Krispy Kreme Smooth coffee a couple of years ago and loved it. I have purchased it in large quantities ever since. The last time I ordered the Smooth but they sent the Classic medium. The Classic medium is stronger and slightly bitter. Now I have to find a different brand. I can never understand why companies insist on “improving” a good thing but actually make it worse. The company states it’s the same blend, just a different name. But if you have someone make a cup of each, it’s easy to distinguish betrween the two, even blindfolded.

Another (for the worse) branding change
As others have stated, the new Classic blend tastes completely different than the original Smooth blend. It smells completely different when brewing as well. Timothy’s Donut Shop blend used to be my favorite, but when that was discontinued, I switched to Krispy Smooth. I’m a Light roast fan and I’ve tried other Light roasts, but none compare. Very disappointed.

Not the Same - Bring Back the Original Smooth!
So KK Smooth coffee - light roast recently changed to KK Classic coffee - medium roast. It is not the same. Even the name indicates it is different. I do not care for the new classic. Not as smooth and more bitter. Please bring back the original smooth!

I am happy I tried this Krispy Kreme blend. It is a nice medium blend on the lighter side of medium but not wishy washy. It is not bitter like so many others and tastes great, made in my older Keurig. (*I could not use a brand new highest end Keurig machine after several cleanings since all coffee tasted bitter in it to me...I am a "super taster".)

So disappointed in the change!
I really miss Smooth coffee...the coffee that was sold before the rebranding into Classic coffee. It just isn't the same. Please bring back Smooth coffee and the original formula. I am now on a new quest to find other brands that are better than the Classic recipe. \

We used to recommend Smooth coffee to our friends and family. We are no longer able to recommend Krispy Kreme for anything.

Everything about this coffee is soothing. The aroma, the taste. There is no bitterness. I’ve side by side tested this with the Smooth light blend, and I’m telling you, it tastes exactly the same! Love this blend, it’s just as perfect as Classic as it was when called Smooth. Offers total contentment in the aroma and satisfaction in flavor to my taste buds.

I think there must be a bad batch of these or something. I've ordered these before, but now they just cause my Keurig to jam. I've done needle maintenance 3 times and took my machine apart and cleaned it and every time I use these they jam my machine. I have dozens of other K-Cups that work fine, so it is not my machine. I would avoid these K-Cups.
