    Soap Dispensing Dishwand
What has happened to your dishwand?? I have used one for years and the last two I have bought have both malfunctioned. The little blue cap on the wand will not stay on and all the soap leaks out.

Please change this because I don't want to do without it.

    Thank you

    Wonderful Magical Dishwand
    I give this 5 ***** (stars). Works
great on the messiest pots and pans. Clean up a breeze!!!
The dishwand holds dishsoap and releases what you need. So easy to use too! I found cleaning up my
pots much quicker using the dishwand-compared to traditional sponges. Love this product!

    soap dispensing dishwand
I have been using these for a few years now. It's nice to be able to buy the replacement sponges in almost any store. The handle is shaped just right for comfort when using for a long time or when having to scrub a little hard. I'm pleased that this product hasn't changed.

    Disappointing!
I love the idea and concept behind this product but after using it, I was disappointed in it because it would leak my dish washing soap into my sink caddy or on the kitchen counter. Scotch Brite has had so many wonderful and useful household products in the past but this just wasn't one of them.

I like the dishwand but was hoping to be able to use it for more of my glasses and bottles. It does work on everything else and is very convenient not to have to reach for the soap when washing

Wow - I love my dishwand!
I hate doing dishes. I mean, I *really* don't like it. I would avoid it, letting dishes sit on the counter. I don't have a dishwasher, I *am* the dishwasher. And as the oldest girl in a family of six, I got a lot of practice at it growing up. Too much.

So, here's the thing: I ? my dishwand. It has made the dishwashing so much easier! The design lets it get into narrower spaces, and the scrubber is right there on the end. I load it with my favorite dish soap and off I go. While I can't claim it made me *want* to do the dishes, it sure made the experience a whole lot better.

And now *my* daughter is a convert. I recruited her to help me and she loves the dishwand, too!

    Better than the dishwasher
I watched my mother-in-law use your wands for years and couldn't figure out why she swore by them. I either did my dishes by hand or used our dishwasher. Well she has been gone for several years and while cleaning out her home I took her dishwand. Ever since then I've been a faithful user. They are so easy to use and the only thing I have had to replace is the head. I rarely use my new dishwasher and prefer doing all dishes by hand with dishwand in hand.

The soap dispensing dishwand is a magical stick for your dishes. It holds your dishwashing soap and dispenses it as it cleans your dishes. It is extremely easy to hold and use. I use it everytime i do dishes and have stocked up on this product! I cant do my dishes with out my soap dispensing dish wand.

    What a great 2-in-1
I am teaching my daughter to cleean dishes and with this easy 2-in-1 tool she loves the lesson. Never too much never too little of soap and great scrubbing results. I am happy since I know it is easy for her (and me :) even to clean cups since the handle goes easly into them.

    A big disappointment
I bought a dishwand and several refills during a really good sale at the grocery store. However, this wand turned out to be very disappointing. The rubber piece you press on top no longer stays in the wand, and all the dish liquid in the wand spills all over my sink.

This wand is a great idea in theory, but unfortunately, it didn't work out too well.

    Dishwand....and more
I love the dishwand because we constantly have dirty dishes being put in the sink and it helps me to keep up on them without having to fill a dishpan every time there's more put in! It's also handy to go around the sink and give it a quickie cleaning after doing the dishes. I use another to keep up on "dirty" jobs such as floor spot cleaning and the sides of the plastic garbage can. The scrubbie removes the stains and again, I'm saving on dish washing liquid. I love that it gets the soap right to the place I need it without a lot of waste and anything that makes kitchen cleaning easier, is a winner in my book! Thanks for such a versatile product!!

    Why compare?
I always tease that the dishwasher is broken, because I am the dishwasher in our house. I don't think I would use one even if I had it. I will only use Scotch-brite brand dishwands and scrubbers, because they are by far the most durable and reliable product like it. For tough baked on foods and soft enough for baby spoons. The soap dispenser never clogs up like other brands and the scrubbing pad is tough and easy to clean off. Great family product!

Great for use on light jobs!
This was my first time using this product and it seems to do a great job on dishes and pots that just need a little scrubbing. The only thing I wish it would do is fit in my son's bottles if it did that it would be the best scrubber I've ever used.

This device works well. However, the inconsistency of the scruber staying on the dishwand is a problem. Sometimes the scrubber will last about a month, before tearing away, other times only a week.

    Soap Dispensing Dishwand
I've often looked at these dishwands in the store and finally decided to give it a try. I really like this product. You just pour your detergent in the handle. It's easy to use and it keeps your hands out of the dish water. I found it to be very effective in cleaning my dishes as well as pots and pans

I love the soap dispensing dishwand. It makes cleaning dishes and pots a breeze especially with the scrub surface. They last a very long time and refills are inexpensive. It beats using a sponge that gets nasty and smells after a while.

    Soap Dispensing Dish Wand
I use the Soap Dispensing Dish Wand everytime I wash dishes. I really like the soap dispenser because it helps cut down on the amount of dish soap we use. Everytime my children washed the dishes they always used too much.
With the Soap Dispensing Dish Wand, they do not waste soap. It makes it easier for them to do the dishes and they don't complain as much. This makes dish washing time more fun in our household.
I definately recommend this product especially if you have children who do dishes.
It also helps encourage husbands to wash their plates before putting them in the dishwasher, too.

    Button falls off!!
I have been purchasing this wand for many years, and the last two wands I purchased are terrible! BOTH buttons (blue button AND the new white button) fall out, which results in the entire wand full of dish soap to spill out. Terrible design and a waste of dish soap. I am terribly dissapointed and not sure if I should purchase a new wand to go with the repacement sponges I also purchased, or just go with another brand.

    Scotch-brite Soap Dispensing Wand
I recently bought a scotch-brite soap dispensing dishwand for my husband. He LOVES it! We were using a smaller hand held scrubber that was round and it had certainly seen better days. I found our other scrubber to be difficult to use as your hand was so close the scrub surface that it was often difficult to get the needed leverage on a tough food stain. The design of the scrubber on the Soap Dispensing Dish wand is great! There is a narrower side for getting into tight corners and a broader side for scrubbing larger areas. The long handle not only provides ample soap storage, but it allows you to get the sometimes needed elbow grease into removing food from dishes. The scrubber was reasonably priced at my local store and the best part is that it accepts refill scrubber heads so I won't have to replace the entire unit when my hubby wears it thin.

    its like a magic wand!
I despise touching a sponge when cleaning so the soap dispensing dishwand is an excellent tool. Its comfortable handle allows me to clean with force without touching an actual sponge. The only issue I have with it is it dispenses the soap rather slowly. I feel the only way to improve it would be for the soap to come out of the dispensing hole easier. Otherwise it is durable and lasts many washes!

    so-so dishwand
We have bought 3+ dish wands because we think it is a great idea. However, the button has fallen out each time, within 2 weeks of use. I also have not figured out how to store the dish wand. If I store it sponge side up the soap leaks out the button, sponge side down the soap leaks out the sponge, and laid down it seems to leak out the sponge as well. I like the idea, but I am frustrated with the soap all over our sink!!!

Agree with other reviews: Fair, at best
The push-button dispenser idea is poor. The rubber push button doesn't stay attached...and never actually does anything when it is.

The viscosity of your dish soap may be thick or thin, but it doesn't matter: It'll leak out if not carefully balanced on its back.

Halfway through washing, the dispenser will be full of half dish soap and half dish water.

What good's a replaceable brush head if you can't find a replacements? The green/yellow pad/sponge refills are around, but good luck finding the bristle brush head like I bought.

Last but least, the knob and button are now an ugly blue, easily the worst non-coordinating color 3M could have come up with.

    The rubber buttons are horrible
The sponge/scrubber works great on cleaning dishes, but the little rubber button/stopper just falls right out of its hole, spilling dish soap down the sink and on the counter.

I was just doing dishes a few minutes ago and the rubber button fell out of the wand and went right down into the garbage disposal. So now, I get to go fish it out somehow so it doesn't get stuck in there.

The worst part of this design is that the button is completely unnecessary since the soap will saturate the sponge via capillary action on its own. The button essentially does nothing.

I won't buy this product ever again unless they redesign it without the button.

Why did they add the button?
I loved my old dish wand! It worked great, was convenient, and saved on detergent so when I saw the new one with the button to dispense soap I bought two of them right away. Big mistake. The buttons don't seem to work at all and after a few months they fell out. Now I have to squirt soap on the sponge everytime I want to use it. I threw out my old one and have been looking for another one without the button, but no luck. Guys, please TAKE THE BUTTON OFF!!!

    Love it!!!
The dishwand helps get the dishes done so quickly and easily! I use the dishwand every day for virtually all of my dishes. I like that you can interchange the sponge heads on the wand for a rougher or softer sponge depending on the type of dishes you are washing. It's also nice that the handle is reusable and does not need to be thrown away or replaced when you buy new heads for it.

    Soap Dispensing Wand
I have to tell you I love the idea of this product. I loved the idea so much that I went out and bought one. When I got it home, I was so disappointed. When I got it home, I filled it up with dish soap and did my dishes. A couple of hours later when I went back into the kitchen to get something to drink, there was dish soap all over my sink and my counter. The thing leaked all over the place. I figured it was because of the way it was sitting. After putting it in several different position, I realised that there was 3 placed it was leaking from. 1.) where the soap is dispensed from 2.) from the pressure bulb and 3.) from where you put the soap into. I was so disappointed. I've even went to the store because I figured mine might just have been defective and I asked someone there if they had something similar that didn't leak and they said they didn't. They also said theirs did the same thing. 2 thumbs way down. :(

    No leaks, long life Wand
The Scotchbrite Soap dispensing dishwand is at the top of my list for diswashing tools.

I have several other brands of dishwands and Scotchbrite is the only one I have found that doesn't leak while you are using it.

I also like the idea of being able interchange scrubbers and still use the same wand.

Also, the replacement pads and or scrubbers have a pretty long life.

With Scotchbrite Soap Dispensing Dishwand my dishes are always sparkling clean !!

    soap dispensing wand
Back to the design team. I've purchased 3 so far and have not found one that does not leak out the soap, creating a mess. If the wand lays flat it leaks through the sponge, if it stands up as in a jar it leaks around the "pump" I've even had the "pump" come off while washing quart jars and fill with dish water. There has got to be a better design, otherwise a great concept.

    Non-dispensing is better
I bought a dispensing and a non-dispensing wand. I prefer the non-dispensing wand because the dispensing one is too wasteful. I add as much soap to the sponge as I need directly onto the sponge.

I also bought one wand with the green heavy duty scouring sponge and one with the blue no-scratch sponge. The green heavy duty wand is the best for scrubbing pans. The blue no-scratch refill is my favorite because I don't have to worry about the scratching. The blue refill is really hard to find. I order them online when I can find them. I wonder if they will stop making it.

I have tried many hand dishwashing sponges, but I always have one of these on hand. I like that it narrows at the end to fit into glasses and other narrow containers.

    frustrated
I wish I had read the reviews before I replaced my wand when it leaked the first time!

With my new wand, I was very careful about not putting the wand in hot water, etc. It still leaked. The button seems to soften as time passes. (I checked it when I first bought my new one, and it was firmly attached.)

I love the concept but hate the waste of dish detergent!

    Button Design Flaw
I bought the Dishwand after I moved into my new apartment November 1st. It was an impulse-buy I could have done without. But I figured as long as I was getting it, I'd better buy refills, too. So I did.

Filled it with dish soap and washed off my pots and pans as I unpacked them. Worked great.

Left the dishwand in the sink and walked my dog. When I came back, I found that most of the soap had run out of the Dishwand and down the drain. I had just filled it and that wand-full of soap would have lasted me 2 weeks easily.

So, yeah, the little white button had fallen off. Looking at it now, I can't see how it was ever affixed to the wand in the first place. I try to use it still, but slimy soap water gets all over my hand... Slimy-wet-hand is the condition I sought to avoid when I purchased the Scotch-Brite Soap Dispensing Dishwand and Refill 2-pack. It seems in this "fairytale" that I've kissed another frog.

From the picture on this site, it looks like there's a big blue button now...now, three weeks later. I hope that's a redesigned heavy duty rubber cemented blue button, because I'm sitting on a useless pack of refills otherwise.

    Poor Design
I had one of your older dish wands and loved it. When it finally broke from overuse (the threads of the cap at the end wore through the cap). I bought a new one.

I'm ready to throw this wand out and buy one of your competitors' products. The new wand has a soft plastic button or plug halfway down the shaft. This plug is not anchored in and falls out unless I wash dishes with my thumb over it. Soap leaks from the plug.

Overall, this is very poorly designed.

Can not find other heads for the Dishwand.
I recently bought the Dishwand, and it seems to be working fine.

I have seen on the company website, that the company makes a sponge head for it, and a brush head for it.

I so far have been unsucessful in finding these products in the stores, or on-line.

I would really like these two tools.

Any information on where I can get the products, would be a blessing to have.

I discovered the dishwand, at a home I work in. I used it there, and liked it.

    Dishwand
I guess that in general terms this is a good product, with one big exception. The little button on top of the wand started leaking the first week, and soon would just fall out on its own. We have gone through a lot more dishwashing liquid than we should because it leaked out since we don't have a good place to put the wand where it won't get tipped over. We like the other Scotchbrite products but really didn't think this one was worth the money.

    Good but not the knob
I think the dishwand is great. But that little knob serves NO purpose for me whatsoever. It leaks after awhile. It will fall out for no reason. That is the only product downfall of this, in my opinion.

I have used dishwands for years and usually buy Scotch-Brite. I love the assortment of replacement heads. I use the sponge for dishes, the non-scratch heavy duty sponge for cleaning my stainless steel sink and the brush refill for scrubbing vegetables. I toss the regular dish sponge head in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize. Now, the reason for my average ratingId...the new wand with the blue button starts leaking after a few weeks. I have to dry out the wand and super glue around the seal. This is very disappointing to me. The original wand worked great and never leaked. Also, some wands leak around the cap. I have to use plumber's tape to seal it up.

    What happened?
We used this product for a long time. We purchased a new one and it was leaking from around the button... then the button would not stay on. I bought a new one thinking the previous one was a unique problem. As soon as I filled it and stared to use it ... the button just fell off. There is nothing holding it in.
At this point I will not purchase another one until your company solves the problem and I KNOW it will work like the older one we had for several years.

    Sad about it
The overall design is good. It fits well in your hand and easy to hold. It doesn't scratch dishes or pans and cleans well in corners as well as glasses. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter because do to the rubber button on the handle not fitting properly, all the soap leaks out. I thought that the first purchase may have been a fluke or defective, but realized after the second one that it is an engineering flaw. I also purchased additional heads for the dishwand, which are no longer useful. Total waste of money!

    Dishwand Wonder
I purchased the dishwand and have been pleasantly surprised at the ease and the great cleaning capability. I usually get a rash when washing dishes as my hands cant take detergents. Which is why I was looking for this style of product. I am happy to say that it works so well at both cleaning every style of dish you can have while also keeping my hands free of detergent. Bravo!

    Soap Dispensing Dishwand
I've used the scotch brite dishwand for many years with 100% satisfaction. The new model with the blue button is not Scothes best effort. The theory is solid but the manufacturing is VERY poor. I spend more money a month on wasted dish detergent that could be used for other household uses. The wand leaks, the button pops out; frankly the new design STINKS. Bring back the basic design with no button.

Definitely one of the best products on the market, and definitely the best product of its kind. Very high quality.

Worst product I have ever purchased
I can't even begin to remember how many of these I have purchased over the past several years and still have not got one that doesn't leak the soap either from the screw cap, the button or through the sponge head itself. I just kept thinking that it was my bad luck getting the ones that had a leak, but I'm now convinced that they must ALL LEAK. It is the poorest design I have ever seen. Never again will I pay a dime for one.

    Scotch-Brite dishwand saves my sanity!!!
I absolutely LOVE the Scotch-Brite dishwand! I've been using it now for several years and it makes dishwashing a breeze. The spongeheads also last forever and will take quite the beating before they're laid to rest. :) I live in an older home and I don't have a dishwasher. The Scotch-Brite dishwand keeps me from losing my mind when I have a huge stack of dishes to do when company leaves. My mom also told me recently that my father (who usually avoided doing the dishes) started spontaneously doing the dishes without being asked after she bought the dishwand. It really save the day when I'm washing dishes.

I have purchased 3 of the Scotch Brite Dishwashing wands and all 3 leak terribly around the seal at the end of the wand and also around the bulb in the middle. I have wasted a lot of dish washing soap due to this happening. I love the concept, it works great, but the defect makes it hard to really want to use it.1 star

Cleans Great ....But Has A Flaw
I have been using these wands for years. With the last 2 units, I have a problem with the white push button on the face falling out. If I don't catch it in time, it's down in the garbage disposal bouncing around. Other times, I have noticed that the plug has fallen out and spills soap all over the sink or counter. I think whatever re-design has been done needs to be fixed. A snugger fit on the plastic tolerances should do it.

    Sooo Close to Perfect!
I absolutely l-o-v-e this product save one problem I'm having. The pros certainly outweigh that one con. When I wash with the wand, I can keep my hands out of the "yuck" and also use super hot water without burning my hands. It dispenses just the right amount of soap and I truly believe it to be close to the perfect product. The only problem I'm having is some leaking of soap from the bottom of the wand when not using. I plan on calling Customer Service and asking them for help. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong or putting it in the wrong position. No matter what, I'm sticking with the Dishwand!

I've always been a bid fan of dish cleaning wands. I've been using them for over 10 years. I really like the scrubbing surface and the variety of them available for this wand. It's also comfortable to hold The only complaint I have is that it's hard to get into corners with the sponge design.

    LOOKS LIKE NEW
I love the Scotch-brite dish wand very much. I have been married 43 year's and my stainless cooking pot's & pan's look just like the day I got them. It's so easy with the yellow & green sponge or the dishwand for getting baked on food or caked on grime/grease that has cooked on the bottom. We have used our Scotch-brite sponge's on many thing's around our home. We can not live without having them in our kitchen or bathroom or the Gargage or my husband's workshop.

    Inferior product
I have used your soap dispensing wands for years, both at home and in my office, and recently began experiencing an issue that I'd never seen before. You have apparently made a change to the "rubber button" on the handle, which has resulted in an inferior product. I am on the verge of never using this product again, as this "button" now seems to shrink after a few weeks of use. The button shrinks and then falls out, going down the drain sometimes, or into the garbage disposal. And once the button falls out, the soap often drains out, too. Kind of pointless to buy replacement heads, when the button on the handle wears out so quickly. Why did you make the change? I am tired of fishing this little piece of rubber out of my garbage disposal, and tired of soap draining out.

    Agree with anonymous
Agree exactly with anonymous' review of 4/28/11. Very disappointed with product due to the little "rubber button" always falling out of the handle. I have lost quite a bit of dishwashing soap repeatedly because of this. I don't believe it is necessary.

I do however, like the shape of the scrubber, as it does fit into small spaces.

Please "get rid of the button" so I can continue to use this product.

    Once a great cleaning tool
Three or four years ago I bought my first scrubbing want and I loved it. I used it till a little over 4 months ago when it gave out and broke. OffI went to buy a new one. The style has changed on the button and sadly within 2 days the button fell out. I wondered if it was the wand and someone at the store messed with it so I went out and purchased another one. Same problem only instead of a few days it took a few weeks. Now I am 4 months later and bought 5. Still not good. I am saddened as this is the only thing I had found to safe my hands from the problems I have with dishwashing and the soap involved.

I love this product and use it everyday. It is super easy to use and helps out a lot when you are doing the dishes. The soap dispensing dish wand makes it very easy to clean your dishes in a fast and timely manner. Unlike a regular dish cloth, the dish wand doesn't get infested with mildew. This is a great product that everyone should use!

    Could be excellent
I have been purchasing this product for the past several years. I normally buy the replacement sponges however, at times I replace the entire tool. The last one I purchased had to be thrown out because the cap, that you use to pump the soap, loosened and would repeatedly fall out, spilling soap everywhere. I replaced it about a month ago, and the new one is already doing the same thing. I can put the cap back on, but it is so loose that it is only a matter of time until it has fallen out, usually into the water. Hopefully this is something you can fix in the future to make this product great!

I had one of these years ago and loved it! It lasted a long time. I purchased a new one last week expecting the same performance, but the rubber dispensing button falls out every time I use it (it's not even supposed to come off!) The fill cap also leaks. These are not made as well as they used to be and it makes me sad.

Redesign the New, or Bring Back the Old...
Over the years, I have been quite satisfied with the good quality of 3M products. However...
After almost two years of using the “Scotch-Brite Dishwand”, the screw cap on mine broke and I went out to buy a new one The only ones I could find had the blue soap-dispensing button.

When I got home, I opened and filled it about Вѕ full with liquid dish-washing soap, and within two days, all of the liquid soap had leaked out, and within one week, the Soap-dispensing button continuously fell off. In addition, the button appears to shrink after awhile, also causing it to fall out. I any case, the button quite often ends up in the disposal making the wand useless, and the consumer is out not only the cost of the wand, but the cost of the liquid dish-washing soap lost due to its leakage.

I only hope they bring back the original, (without the button), or redesign the new one properly.

Fast & easy but not the best for scrubbing
My husband swears by this product, and I must admit it has grown on me too. I do not consider myself to be a gadget person and believe that simple does it. However, when I'm on the run, with only five minutes to do the dishes, the wand has been a saver. On the other hand, when I have time, I go for the good old sponge. I am able to apply more pressure on hard-to-remove stains and catch those tough coffee stains that buildup on our favorite mugs during the work week.

Get rid of that blue button
I have purchased 3 wands during the year and each one starts to leak after using it for awhile. I like the shape of the sponge and had no problems when that blue button wasn't on it. It serves no purpose, I don't think I ever used it.

I love Scotch products! And I loved this dishwashing wand . . . for a while! This is the second one I have bought that has problems. The little blue bulb on the handle comes off, letting my dishwashing liquid drain out! When this occurred with the first one, I thought it was a fluke and went ahead and bought another. Wish I hadn't! Has anyone else had this problem?

    surprisingly disappointed
I have used this type of product for years and love them. I went back to 3M/Scotch Brite and found the product had been improved to include a tapered sponge head and a button on the handle to facilitate the flow of soap to the sponge.

I quickly found the button made no noticible dfference in performance or amont of soap on the sponge. In fact the rubber button began falling out of the handle after about the third time using it and now just sits on side of the counter. Note -- this means you can not store soap in the handle!.

The tapered sponge head had a hard time getting to the cevices at the bottom of some mugs, bowls, glassess, etc. and the tapering of the handle placed further limitations on some of the bottles/glasses/vases the sponge tip could enter simple because of the bend in the handle.

I continue to buy these because I can't find anything else! They tend to leak soap after you replace the sponge, and the latest one, the sponge is loose, as well as leaking. I AM looking for some other kind.

Great wand to use. Easy to grip, better than a dish rag or sponge. Nice handle that holds dish soap and dispenses just the right amount you need. Scrubber is non-scratch which is great!

    Excellent kitchen tool
The sponge head with the soap dispensing directly into it makes it so you use less soap and it makes scrubbing pots and pans so much easier. The tough stuck on food on dishes come off a lot easier with this tool no matter what kind of dish it is. LOVE IT

    Dishwand has Fantastic Lifespan
The Scott Brite dishwands are by far the sturdiest brand I have found. We've been using the same wand for at least 4 years and are able to go for a while before replacing the sponges. We don't have problems with it leaking, either. It seems like other brands seem to come and go at the nearby stores as well, so it's nice to know that the larger chain grocery stores and discount stores will carry the refills.

    Very nice
This is all i use to clean my dishes. You don't have to worry about refilling your sponge every 5 seconds. you just fill it with dishwashing liquid and you're good. the only down side the little pusher button sometimes comes off and when the sponge gets worn in the soap starts to leak.

    Diswands that leak
We have had a terrible time with our dishwands leaking ALL the soap out of the dispenser in less than a day or if filled in the evening it is empty by morning. We have tried placing it in many positions to no avail. I love the dishwand when it works as it does a good cleanup, just want to know what/how to keep it from leaking. HELP!!

    Better than a dishrag!
I like the dishwand better than a dishrag. However, the possibility of the sponge growing bacteria concerns me. Also, it is hard to get into the nooks and crannies of some of my pans. Overall, it does a great job of cleaning most of my dishes!

    Dishwand
Like the concept of the dish wand and try to use it all the time. But the small rubber diaphragm on the handle often leaks dish washing liquid. 5 stars if they correct this design flaw, otherwise have to go with a one star ratingId. When it leaks you use a handle full of dish soap in one use. Not optimal.

    Everyone Needs a Magic Wand!
I used to do my dishes with just a washcloth and the occasional pad but the washcloth would get nasty and the pad would rust and I was getting frustrated!!!! I found this wonderful little magic dish washing wand and haven't gone back! I love that it can scrape the hard stuff off of cookie sheets, get in the corner of casserole dishes and the soap dispenser means that I can do a quick sweep of a few dishes and not have to run a sink full of water! I love this product so much that I actually stock up on the replacement pads and bought one to clean my shower, I just pour a cleaning solution into the holder instead of dish soap!!!

Ahhh...I love this handy tool and it has helped me in so many ways. I am often needing to wash a utensil or a pan and this handy scrubber offers the benefit of the Scotch's green scrubbie I grew up with, and the cost saving soap with running water to clean up those little straggling dishes hanging around. I have also found this to be a handy scrubber with soap dispensed to use when I clean my stove. The shape allows for easy access to those irritating corners and cervices. I also like the tight cap at the end of the soap dispenser which does not leak, unlike other brands I have tried. Great tool, I highly recommend it.

I was at my daughters house and saw this wand in her sink. I am the one who thinks new is not always better.
I was wrong. The next time I was at the storeI picked one of these wands up and 2 years later still love it.
I can wash items with hotter water also because I am not dipping my hands in the hot water as much.

Excellent tool for small amounts of dishes
I have used these for many years and find them to be a big time saver when you have just a few dishes. They use quite a bit more soap than what you would normally put in a sink full of water, so I don't recommend using them for a large amount of dishes. They do an excellent job!!

I love my scotch brite dispensing wand! It allows me to quickly clean my dishes without getting my hands all pruny. And because the soap is dispensed onto the sponge for me it saves me on time as well. It's really the easy way to clean your dishes by hand and I wouldn't have it any other way. I've been using this for years and will continue to.

    Dishwand to the rescue
I really enjoy using the Scotch Brite Dish Wand. I have sensitivities to dishsoap and prolonged exposure to water so these really help save my skin while washing. I also like that they self dispense soap and there are a choice of scrubbers for the head. They are easy to use and replacing the scrubber is a snap.

    Thank you Scotch Bright!

    Best for prewashing dishes
I have used this dishwand for years. It is perfect for quick cleanups on stuck on stubborn items, and great for pre-washing or preparing dishes to go in the dishwasher. It helps to not have a bunch of nasty sponges and scrubbers laying all over the sink-this is all I need. Plus, it lasts a long time, I only replace the scrubber head about every 3-4 months--MUCH longer than a dish sponge or scrubber.

    Can't Live Without It!
Love this dishwand! Helps you clean drinking glasses, especially those deep one's. Great for cleaning plates, bowls and silverware too, just about all your dishes. Easy to use, just unscrew the bottom, add some of your favorite dish detergent into it and screw the bottom back on. Sure does help to keep your hands out of the mess.
Replaceable sponges are also very easy to remove and replace and they come in packs of two.
I really can't live without mine and will search all over to find a replacement if I need one.

I like that I don't have to add dishsoap while I'm doing the dishes. It doesn't seem to get as smelly as the regular sponge/scrubber does. It's good for washing glasses so I don't have to risk getting cut if a glass breaks. I have a couple of really nasty scars from that happening. The one thing I don't like though is that if I have a stubborn, stuck on food I have to resort to a regular scrubber with elbow grease.

This wonderful dish soap dispensing wand makes me feel like a princess of the the kitchen sink! I don't mind doing dishes anymore because it makes it easy to get to all areas and surfaces without having to make my hands withstand the tortuous dishwater!Thank-you Scotch-Brite for enabling me to keep my hands "holdable," without having to constantly use the dishwasher.

Keep your dishes washed and your nails neat
Sometimes is very hard to have my nails done, and when I finally do, I want them to last more than a day. With the wand I can keep my hands soft and my nails done.
My aunt is allergic to detergents and by using the wand she has been able to keep her hands healthy, and allergy free.

Nice on your hands and nails.
I am quite the cleaning machine however, if there is one thing I avoid or leave until last, it’s the dishes. Mostly because I have to stick my hand in really gross water and sometimes have to result in using my nails to scrape off the hard bits. My hands dry out from the water and my nails get gunk underneath them. Thinking about it makes me turn green.

Ever since using the Soap Dispensing Dishwand, my woes are over and I’ve been using the Dishwand now for a couple years.

Pros: It is so easy to use and the refills are relatively cheap and easy to install. It also lets out the right amount of dish soap. I’ve cut down on soap usage by at least half and by cutting down, it’s that much better on the environment plus I save money. Unlike some other brand wands, this Dishwand doesn’t leak soap. It scrubs the dishes sparkling clean and gets into those corners and crevices. The little scraper on top of the sponge get those tough baked on bits. The sponges are quite durable for how much I use them - I’ve never had a sponge tear or break on me yet.

Cons: The sponges really grab onto the gunk so you do have to replace the sponges a few times a month or else they can get smelly. I would also recommend standing the wands sponge-up so that it dries faster and doesn’t leave a soap build up on your counter.
But I would say the pros far outweigh the cons.

I no longer have to get my hands dirty and for that, my hands thank the Soap Dispensing Dishwand.

    Love the Soap Dispensing Dishwand!
I have recommended this dishwand to several friends. The fact that I can quickly wash a few dishes without getting my hands wet is awesome!! I have sensitive skin and must use gloves if I must immerse my hands completely. With the wand, often I can quickly wash a few dishes without my hands getting soap on them at all. It truly aids expediting things in the kitchen, while also helping keep my sensitive hands out of the dish detergent. Thank you for making a product I really enjoy!!

No dishes in my sink ever
When using the Scotch Brite soap dispensing dish wand there is never a dirty dish in my sink, ever. Because it is so easy to wash, dry and then put away each item as it is used. I would never be without this product and have used it since I first saw it displayed at the grocery store. Just by filling the tube with the cheapest dish detergent the soap comes out in just the right amount to clean each dish and glass with no waste of the detergent. The scrubby part of the sponge is just right for removing anything stuck on but soft enough to use on good china. I love all the scotch brite products but this is my #1 love!

The dishwand is a great product. I like using it to keep my hands out of the water as much as possible since I suffer from dermatitis. I only wish I could find a package with three or more scrubbers, I use one a week. I live in a rural area and our store carries limited supplies.

    Best Invention Ever!
I recently bought a scotch brite soap dispensing dish wand, to help me keep on top of my dish stacks (I live in a small apartment with no dishwasher). It honestly is my favorite kitchen utensil EVER! I no longer fill my sink with soapy water and scrub, I can just tackle each dish one at a time with the perfect amount of soap. I love it so much that I bought one for my boyfriend and his roommate (His roommate is notorious for never doing his dishes). Surprise! The dishwand makes it so easy to clean up that I never see dishes lying around anymore when I come over. I think these should come standard with every dorm room and first apartment.

    Dishwand is awesome~
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product! I HATE washing dishes, and this makes my life so much easier, and dishwashing much simpler. It is so convenient, and the price is very reasonable for both the dishwand and the refills. The only negative is that occassionally the refill doesn't fit quite right on the wand, and it tends to fall off, frustratingId, but not enough to stop using the product.

These non-scratch dishwands from ScotchBrite are tough enough to remove dried-on foods, yet they do not scratch the surface of your dishes or glasses. They are made to where you can replace the scrubbing pad when it wears out, although that may be awhile, as they seem to last a very long time. Overall, I'd highly recommend them. I can't find any downside to them at all.

    Everyone needs one of these!
My husband picked me up a dish wand about 6 months ago after I cut my hand when I was cleaning a glass and it broke. A dish wand is wonderful for cleaning glasses but it is also wonderful for cleaning other dishes also, I don't have a dishwasher but even for those who do some times you only have a snack plate or cup to wash the dish wand is the answer.

    The Scotch-Briteв„ў Soap Dispensing Dishwands
Scotch- Brite Soap Dispensing Dishwands are my new favorite friend in the kitchen. I like the fact that I don't always have to open my favorite dish detergent and pour onto my cleaning tool of choice. You simply pour your dish detergent into the handle area, and when you need the detergent, you just push the button on the wand- very simple. Additionally, I like the way that my dishes come out clean when I use my Dishwand. No having to reclean again and again. I would reccomend that anyone try this product if you want a tool that will make washing your dishes easier.

I hardly ever have to use my dishwasher. I just wash the few dishes I have in soapy water - without having to fill the sink - by using the soap-filled wand and a quick rinse. The dishes drip dry on the small drainboard and are ready to be put away in no time. They never pile up because the wand is always right there. I love it.

The tip of this product will scratch your pots on the inside if you are not very careful.
Because I like the product I have modified myself and It works fine. I have notified the company to suggest a change but who am I to make such a suggestion.
I stopped using years ago after my husband ruined the pot he cooked his oatmeal in. I have started back because I forgot about the problem and decided to fix myself.
Hopefully the company will consider my idea to make a good product great.

    Travels anywhere!
This wand is not just for dish soap, I started putting Soft Scrub into it, and have learned its the best thing for a Hotel. When your traveling with kids, you can clean your own sink, toilet, without waiting for maid service. It doesn't leak, I just put the scrubbing end into a baggy if its wet. I love the refils, and have one in all my bathrooms, kitchen, and even the garage! It is so handy for soap, vinegar, amonia, or the soft scrub, and it never has to touch your hands.
Thankyou for an excellent product!

I love my soap wand. It is so convenient for washing out glasses, and plates that just need a quick soap up and rinse. It is one of my favorite sink items

    Dishwands
I use the soap dispenser dishwand to scour my bathtub ~ I have a very bad back and I can't clean like most people and I can put cleaner in this wand or else I can spray the tub with cleaner and use the wand to scrub and scour it and it works wonderful for me and it is easy on my back ~ I always have one I am using and an extra one on hand in case the one I'm using is used up so to speak ~ this is the best product I have ever used to help me scrub my tub ~ keep on making it.

    Terrific Solution
My hands and nails always take a hit at dishes time. One of my daughters put me on to this wonderful scrubber.
My hands don't take the brunt of the scrubbing of dishes and even pots and pans. This scrubber is fantastic as it loads with the right amount of soap, gets into corners and edges, and cleans up so easily. I LOVE IT!!!

    Great kitchen gadget
I love, love, love your kitchen wands. They last so well, not to mention that they are refillable and you can swap out the sponge head when they start to wear. This is the best, most economical dish washing utensil that I have ever owned. I can even get my significant other to do dishes !

    great dish wand
I use the soap dispensing dish wand and love it. It is so handy for quick cleanups. It is s much easier to just use the dish wand if you only have a couple of pieces to do, no filling sink with water, no dirty dishes sitting in sink, just use dish wand and your done. Always haveone at sink ready for quick cleanup. Love it.

    Soap dispensing dish wand
I love using the dish wands. Makes washing dishes easier. I like the scotch brite one better then some of the other ones on the market. It actually dispenses the right amount of soap and cleans well. The only thing I dont like is that they sometimes break easily and then the scrubby head keep sliding off which is frustratingId. Its also a little more costly then some of the others. Otherwise its a pretty good products.

    handy in the kitchen
Love my dishwand, I keep it full of Dawn dishwashing liquid so that I can cut through the grease on items before I put it in the dishwasher so it doesn't clog up the drains. We have a septic tank so I worry about too much grease causing problems in the drains and tank. This handy little wand is easy to use and very handy. I even keep other refills available for different types of dishes/pots.

I kept getting rough, dry, cracked hands and finally realized it was from doing dishes. I bought this soap wand and immediately my hands cleared up! No more cracked, bleeding skin! Plus it makes doing dishes a quick and easy job.

    Soap Dispensing Wand
I just love these nifty wee dishwashing brushes........ but since they inserted the blue pump button.......they now leak everywhere, wasting product, despite storing in an upright position! The blue button falls off into the wastemaster etc........ I just can't handle the waste of dishwash liquid, & I'm sure you'd be able to remedy this short coming by removing the blue button :)

    used to be gr8
I had the former product for a long time and it was gr8. It used to be an inch longer which provided the proper leverage - also it did not have the release button which totally leaks - no need for this - in the old sponge wand, pressure on the sponge worked perfectly. Everyone that tried product at my house went out and bought one.

So 3M please save money and exclude soap release button and use money to increase the length an inch; i.e. use formal model and sell new one with regular sponge not just scotch brite.

    Thanks

Needs a little modification, additional hardware
I've used these wands for several years now. My most recent purchase was over 2 years ago. I agree with most of the reviews that the button will fall off or soap will leak from it. I used a little superglue to adhere the button in place, and I only fill it half-way with soap. Others have mentioned that soap will leak out of the sponge. This is also true if you lay it on its side. I managed to find a toothbrush holder with a heavy base at Target in which I store this wand upright. The caveat to this is, though, I have to squeeze water out of the sponge or it could tip the cup over. These two little things have fixed the design problems, and I now I have a perfectly working wand.

    The Brush It self.
I bought this product because a friend of mine had it. Unfortunately the handle leaks soap all over the place at both ends. So I have gone thru quite a bit of soap. I thought it would be helpful but I am very disappointment.

    Don't waste your money
This is the biggest piece of garbage that you can find out there. Fill it up with soap, wash a few dishes, lay it down, come back in the morning and find soap all over your counter, floors, and in your cupboards because the thing leaks all over the place.

It doesn't save any time, because you ALWAYS have to clean up after it.

Threw it in the garbage where it belongs.

    Soap Leaks Out
The dish soap leaks out immediately after filling. The original one that I bought a year ago worked fine, just the scrubbing pad wore out. I have bought several new Scotch Dishwands and been unhappy with all. I am just poring dish soap down the drain. This problem needs to be fixed.

Former user of the sponge dishwand refill which was gentle on everything. This dark green pad has put scratches on stainless pan finishes and inside of all-clad pans. The sponge refills needs to be re-instated. The entity responsible for discontinuation of sponge refills should be replaced as they have no clue RE: dishwashing.

Great scouring action marred by poor design.
I have bought two of these, and both have the same weakness: poor design resulting in uselessness. I originally bought one and found the ScotchBrite scouring action and the capability to inject more detergent into the foam head was great! However, I soon found the clumsy handle design made things difficult. The handle is angled such that it's very hard to use with small items such as glasses - it simply won't reach in like other types of scouring wands. Also, the push button detergent knob fell out after a couple of months wasting a 'handle-full' of detergent all over the sink! This first one ended its life when my son accidentally dropped it on the floor and the filler knob snapped off indicating real weakness in the handle's plastic!

I was silly enough to give it the benefit of the doubt and purchase a second in the hope the knob would stay in, but, if anything, the second of these was worse than the first as the knob fell out even more quickly. Whilst it's easy to re-insert, it just keeps falling off wasting detergent and creating lots of exasperation! Very disappointed in what would, otherwise, be a great wash-up item!

    Dishwand by Scotch-Brite
I have used this product for years and just recently have noticed that every time I buy a refill sponge it leaks. I buy at least 2 refills each month. I think with a well known company as 3M they would have perfected this by now. I'm very unhappy with this product.

    Older version better
The older version had a rubber "gasket" around the dispensing hole that the new ones do not have; this lets the soap run right through all over the counter. My husband really likes these but we can't keep the soap in the newer ones.

    new design is awful
The new design is awful. The rubber button distintegrates with two weeks of using it, and the plastic wand part no longer has a hole for the soap to go into the sponge, so soap just come out the sides and gets everywhere. I can't even put the wand in the jar I have next to the sink because the soapjust leaks out all over my counter. I have gone through an entire bottle of soap since buying this new kind. In UNDER TWO WEEKS. I'm really disappointed. This worked so well before. Why did they change the design??

I received this from 3M and have used it several times. I don't usually use a dishwand when washing dishes, but this was very good to clean any mess. It also fit in my hand like a glove. I didn't fill it with dish soap but may try try when I have more to wash.

    horrible button leaks
I have always used this product - recently mine started to leak soap all over the place - so I kept changing how I stored it- gave up and bought a new one.  I had this one 4 hours and leaked out of the button - get rid of the button or give us an option to buy one that doesn't have a button! I am done with this product - while it saves me time on washing dishes - not when I have to constantly clean up soap and waste soap!

    Confounding!
I have been using my dish wand for a while now. Although I love the general idea and the way it speeds dishwashing, it wasn't always so. The wand leaked so badly from the fill cap end that I had to create my own foam gasket to fit inside the cap. Now it doesn't leak from the handle, only from the scrubber sponge. I never use the rubber push button so it has never fallen out. Never had a problem with soap not extruding from the hole behind the pad, in fact it flows copiously to the point of leaking even when stored upright in a tall tumbler under the sink. Wish there was another way to store it out of sight without getting soap all over.

    So much leakage, why?
I loved the dishwand, until I bought the latest refill. First, there was so much leakage that I used an 18 fluid ounce bottle in less than 3 weeks, and I live alone! Never happened before. Second, I think the scraper is useless. Last, did the people at Scotch Brite ever explained why that is? If so, did they have a solution?

I hate to love you so much
I've been buying this product for years. Can't live without it but it always has some fatal flaw. The last two I bought have this green rubber button that works very well until it breaks down very fast and then the whole thing becomes useless. Not sure what to do. I'm hating myself for wanting to buy a new one.

Best thing to clean out a mobile wheels made
This is the best and will be a wheel cleaner I have found to clean between the spokes and inside Automobile wheels. Best of all it's an expensive does a great job and you can replace the Scotch-Brite pads it's small enough to get into the nooks and crannies of even the most complex wheels.

New heavy duty wand is terrible
I replaced a worn out dish wand that lasted several years with the new heavy duty one thinking it would be better. It is almost worthless. The big hole in the sponge either let’s too much soap squirt right out or pushing the pump in the does nothing at all. Very disappointed in this new product.

Makes a mess... leaks soap... cannot store the wan
This dishwand is makes a mess! It also wastes allot of liquid soap. 1) The wand leaks soap all over the kitchen from the "pump button." 2) It has inadequate "bend" in the neck to secure or hang the wand on the edge or divide of a sink... therefore soap leaks continuously in the sink or onto counters 3) Does not dispense soap properly / adequately 4) Scrubbing pad also leaks soap most of the time. Waste of money and will not purchase another one! EVER.
