Great cup of coffee. If you enjoy a good flavored cup of coffee or enjoy a medium/light cup of coffee and want to try something different, this is it. I couldn't wait to try this based on the reviews, and I was not disappointed!

I drink a lot of flavored coffee, but this one I could not even take a second sip. aIt was horrible and I discarded it. I am giving away the remaining k-cups from my sample-pack. I don't sweeten my coffee, so I am not sure if that makes a difference, but I am quite surprised that other reviewers rated it so highly. I found the flavor to be odd, bitter, and unpleasant.

This is our favorite of all the K-Cups. My husband only likes to drink flavored coffees, so I am always looking for new flavors, but we keep coming back to this one. For many years, we bought our coffee (for brewing) at a locally owned coffee shop, and this was our favorite, but they went out of business about 5 years ago and for a while we couldn't get Southern Pecan. We would like to see this and others in decaf. The only decaf flavors available are Hazelnut and French Vanilla.

This is my very favorite coffee!
I love the flavor of this coffee. I can drink it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is my all time favorite and I never get tired of it. And I like mine with some Half and Half.

This is a very nice flavored coffee. It does not give you a funny bite or after taste. Its a little light ( Im a bold coffee drinker) but this is a very good coffee.

"Southern" in the name = Must be good!
This coffee flavor is the reason I bought a Keurig brewer! I tried it at work and fell in love. Flavored coffees are my favorite types, and this beats all others. The only con is that it is a very weak coffee, which is easy to fix by simply brewing a smaller cup size. Highly recommend if you enjoy good flavored coffees!

I am not sure why I couldn't drink it but, it was awful to me. I am a big fan of flovored coffee and I couldn't drink this one, and I bought a whole box because the reviews were so good. It was bitter and had a chemical flavor...?

Doesn't even taste like pecans...
This tastes exactly like green mountains hazelnut. No real pecan flavor that I could discern. Pretty weak as well.

My husband and I DO NOT agree on any coffee flavors. However, we have finally found one that we agree on. It has the perfect blend of being the perfect roast with just a hint of nutty flavor. Nothing overbearing and nothing too frilly and sweet for him.

My Very Favorite Coffee!!
I first tried this flavor years ago at an office where I worked. This coffee was the main reason I bought a Keurig machine. I enjoy everything about this coffee. The aroma and flavor are wonderful and remind me of pancakes and maple syrup. Heavenly!!

This flavor reminds me of mold. I love some of the other Green Mountain Coffre but this flavor is terrible. Sample it before commiting to a full box.

Okay, I decided to try something new that might match up to our all time favorite New Mexico Pinion coffee. Absolutely didn't meet my expectations. This has a great smell but is too sweet for our taste and leaves a strange after taste. I'm so disappointed that I'm stuck with such a big box (no return policy...). I will be giving it away and taking no more chances ordering something new from this website (I know it is suggested to try sampler packs, but I couldn't find this type in an available pack). Overall, don't order if you don't like sweet/overly flavored coffees.

I love Pecans. I initially tried a sample packet and will now add this one to my regular order. I had to Pro this one out. I plan on drinking it all day long during Super Bowl XLV.

IF YOU LIKE YOUR COFFEE VERY STRONG DON'T GET THIS ONE AND THEN COMPLAIN IT IS TOO WEAK. I liked the name so I tried it and am glad I did. I like the not too strong taste of this coffee and absolutely love the smell as it is brewing. I get absolutely no bitter aftertaste. This is the blend I go to most of the time. Whenever I order more coffee there is at least 1 box and prob. 2 of this one in the order. If it is out at this site, I go to a website where it is in stock, I love it that much.

I thought this was another one that had that strong artifical taste...I know these are artifical flavors but I don't like to be reminded of it!!!I am learning that sample packs are wonderful and reviews are all personal preferances!!!

Southern Pecan is the best flavor yet...keep it coming...I drink only this flavor now...love the flavor and the smell is what keeps me coming back for more...please, don't ever discontinue this flavor there is nothing to compare it to...

I like to drink a coffee that is bold, not bitter and once in awhile a flavored coffee. I have found most flavored coffee is not bold at all and I guess there is a reason for that which I don't understand and that's OK. This coffee had NO flavor...I could have been drinking dark colored water. Awful with absolutely no taste. The worst of all flavored coffee I have tried.

I'm not one that usually likes flavored coffees. But my daughter gave me a couple of these, with her best recommendation, and I was very pleasantly surprised! It was really good! And it didn't hurt a bit when the wife made a yummy pecan pie to eat along with the coffee! Ideal in that setting!

Before ordering this, I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I have to agree with those who said it's a bit watery and flavorless. I love flavored coffees and I drink mine with soy milk and sugar. I can't taste much of anything. It feels very thin in my mouth, watery...and though there is a very faint flavor of "something" it surely does not taste like pecan, nuts of any kind, nor a "butter pecan" like the description says. It's a very light roast and while that normally doesn't phase me at all, this one is just icky. I'm bummed...the name sounds so delicious....but the reality is flat and not worth the purchase. ::shiver::

Pretty Good Light Coffee.
While this coffee blend is sweet tasting and smelling, it is a bit too light. However, for those who enjoy light roasts, it may be the ticket. The aroma is amazing; I just wish it had more of a kick.

I've found my new favorite coffee!
With just a dash of sweetener and a splash of cream, I felt like I was tasting a fresh pecan pie from my grandmother's kitchen. It is definitely my new go-to comfort food!

Finally a good flavored coffee!
I have been disappointed with so many flavored coffees. I was pleased to see this one offered in a sample pack. I could try it without a large package. This is a great coffee. Just the right amount of flavor, coffee not too light. This has become one of my favorites!

Lovely pecan flavor - treasure it!
Great cup of coffee with pleasant aroma, mouth feel, and taste... Headily reminiscent of pecan; would be lovely twinned with a piece of pecan pie at Thanksgiving!!

7.25 or 9.25 for this blend
I brewed this at 9.25 oz. size, this was the first brew on my first Keurig. This probably would've been better at 7.25 oz size as it wasn't quite strong enough. Bottom Line: This was BURSTING with flavor.

I love the Southern Pecan flavor! I like both the bold coffees and the flavored coffees. This was my top favorite flavor until I tried the GM French Toast. I still love and enjoy it and will continue to have always on hand. So good!

I really love this coffee. With a little Vanilla Creamer, it's a treat! It smells amazing when it's brewing and it tastes just as good as it smells, which doesn't always happen with coffee. This is my favorite coffee.

This was one of my favorite coffees for my Keurig, but the last time I bought it (early 2013) something had changed. It used to have a strong buttery, nutty aroma that you could smell before getting close to the brewer. Now I have to stick my nose in the cup to smell it at all. The flavor was likewise more intense (in a good way), but it now just tastes like plain coffee. I am very disappointed in the change.

This was one of my favorite blends. The last 4 boxes had a very faint smell, no pecan taste, and was not good coffee. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I had been drinking the Mocha Coconut all winter and was looking for a change, this is now my new favorite. The smell is amazing, smooth with just enough flavor to not overpower but enhance.

I have tried many of Green Mountain brand coffee blends including the Pumpkin Spice. After trying the Southern Pecan flavor I can immediately say this is going to be one of my favorites, this one is so flavorful and its not at all bitter and has a good aftertaste to it, sort of like an Amaretto type aftertaste. It also has a very pleasing aroma to it.

This is listed as a light roast - and it is. Don't expect anything more than a light roast. For me it's perfect. I can make a 10 or 12oz cup and it's perfect, where I often need to run other roasts through for another 4 oz's. It has a great flavor. It's not an overly strong pecan flavor, yet it's delicious. It's going very fast in my house!

Being a southern guy living in the Pacific Northwest I tend to grasp at things that remind me of home. Not surprisingly I tried Southern Pecan with apprehension... I was pleasantly surprised - in fact after trying 48 different flavors, Southern Pecan remained my number one go to flavor. I've just ordered 4 more 24-pack boxes.

Being a southern guy living in the Pacific Northwest I tend to grasp at things that remind me of home. Not surprisingly I tried Southern Pecan with apprehension... I was pleasantly surprised - in fact after trying 48 different flavors, Southern Pecan remained my number one go to flavor. I've just ordered 4 more 24-pack boxes.

Tasteless, weak disappointment
This is either a bad roast batch, or why would anyone else drink this? I have never been so disappointed in any coffee purchased on this site. And I've been a customer for years. Don't they try each "batch" they package??? Apparently not with this..........rather drink water.

After traveling in Europe I found no American coffee to compare ..well..till...I do believe... I would rather have a cup of Green Mountain Southern Pecan at home ..than the coffee cafes in Slovenia..did I just say that..oh yes I did..love the favor,, no bitter after taste, blended to enjoy all day and evening..awesome find..

Normally I don't have a favorite coffee but I find myself always grabbing this one for everyday use. The flavor is not overpowering that you can drink it everyday and mix it with any flavored creamer or just plain sugar and cream. But I have found that it tastes the best with the butter pecan creamer.

I would drink this any time, I lik to add caramel to it. I love that nutty flavor. Wish it was decaf since. I am not supposed to have. caffeine due to medical reasons

Yummy & Warm Cozy Feeling
What a treat! This coffee did make me wander back in my mind to my Southern roots! I love the smell of this one--does make me think of pralines and the taste is smooth and not too sweet. I hesitated purchasing this one as I thought it might be bitter but it was totally the opposite. I have enjoyed it on an early Sunday morning before anyone in the house awakes. Makes me think of home-sweet-home...

Southern Pecan is my favorite coffee ever but this just does not have the pecan flavor I was hoping for....in fact it does not have much flavor at all....it is very weak and watery and tastes more sweet than nutty to me...very artificial...wont be buying this one again

If you like hazelnut you will love SOUTHERN PECAN
If you like the nutty flavor of Hazelnut, you must try the Southern Pecan. Its a little bit sweeter, a little bit nuttier, and its aroma is even stronger in a delightful way. Although the Hazelnut coffee is delicious, Southern Pecan has a smoother buttery taste, that I think everyone who tries it fill by a box for those peaceful times.

Don't like flavored coffees, but this is exception
Not an everyday blend, but remarkable when you are in the mood for it. Flavor persists, goes well with roast pork meal as well as breakfast. Woody but sweet taste, brews well, doesn't need as much sugar. Not for everyone, but should give a pleasant enjoyment. (Note: I am a HARD marker. I doubt if more than ten varieties get a full five. Fractions make this maybe 4.3 or 4.4

I don't want to say this coffee is bad, it just was not what I had hoped it would be. I was hoping for more of a nutty flavor but its really watered down coffee with the tiny hint of a nut flavor. Even at the lowest brew size. I will finish off the box but do not think I will purchase again.

I consider it okay/average — mild, no after taste, but not a memorable taste. I think the Maple Pecan is great in comparison and it has a nice distinctive taste. Make this available year round.

this is the worst! No coffee flavor, certainly no pecan flavor, just....YUCK! I've had coffee that I didn't especially like before, but still used it up, this stuff just needs to be thrown out. Judging from the other reviews it must be that there is no quality control. In cases like this I think returns should be allowed.

FYI, this is my favorite flavor. However, I tend to have grounds in cup issues with it. In the last box I purchased, every single pod resulted in massive grounds in my brewer and cup. Southern Pecan coffee walnut disappoint.[will not]
GMC Southern Pecan has been a long time favorite. They recently discontinued the bagged version of coffee which though disheartening, it still comes in K-cups. Other pecan flavored brands cannot compare to the robust sweetness of GMC SP with its eye awaking aroma and flavor. This particular flavor is my absolute favorite and my number 1 go to as a GMC product.

I ordered this and it was on back order. I selected to be notified when it was back in stock. The notification system worked. So glad I have my Souther Pecan coffee.

Really like this one. You really don’t need any creamer in the coffee if you want to go semi black. Adding just a little of creamer really brings the full flavor out.
