A good decaf with no strange aftertaste. Mild. Pleasant. I prefer a stronger flavor but I would be very happy to get this in a restaurant as an after dinner coffee. Good to have on hand for guests,

This coffee was surprisingly wonderful. I could even drink it black, although i do prefer creamer and a pinch of sugar.It was smooth with just enough punch to get your attention. If your looking for a great coffee that is not too bold this is the one for you.

Let me just say, I love coffee it's the only beverage I drink, approximitly 30 cups or more a day, for real not kidding. Although I do still drink reg coffee, which is also newmans own brand, its only two or three cups a day. I have tryed many decaf brands and they just don't cut it. It's newmans own for me. Nobody I know could believe I was drinking decaf. I'm very fussy about coffee, I will not even drink the flavored one's because that's not coffee to me. If it wasn't for newman's I still wouldn't be drinking decaf. It's a perfect blend. And best of all it's organic you can't get any better then that. you have to try it and you will see what i'm saying.

Better than the caffeinated Newman's Own
I wish this is what the caffeinated version of the Newman's Own tasted like. I love drinking the decaf because it tastes SO good!

So-So after drinking Newman's Xtra Bold
I expected the Decaf to have the same bold rich flavor that the regular coffee had... That is not the case. Although the decaf has a nice flavor, it is very thin and watery. It is a big let down from the Newman's regular coffee.

Perfect!! Ready for 2nd cup
I find many of the medium blends are very strong. I love strong coffee but some of these are a little too strong for me and leave an after taste I'd prefer not to have. Newman's Special Decaf has a perfect blend and leaves no strong after taste. Gonna go make my second cup now.

Everything I like about Newman's Own regular coffee is here, BUT they need to add the extra 20% and make it Extra Bold. If they would do that, they'd have me for life. As it is, I have to go with the Green Mountain Dark Magic Extra Bold Decaf.

This is just plain bad coffee for me. Others love it, I'm definitely not one of them. I tried this 4 times before I finally gave up and decided I just plain don't like it. There is some odd flavor in this bean that arrives and leaves with a bad taste. My mother-in-law agrees. There are so many better decaf options. However, my grandmother loves it. Just not my cup of coffee I guess.

First of all, you cannot taste caffeine so this Decafe blend is as good as any other blend coffee. Been drinking it for years now. GREAT !!!

Excellent, Smooth and Flavorful
I had tried all types of decaf coffees but found them all to be either too bold or too weak. All left my stomach churning with pain, too acidy. Once I tried Newman's Own Organic Decaf, I am a firm believer that this is the only coffee for anyone with caffeine sensitivity that doesn't want to miss out on a morning cup of joe. Simply the best.

Wonderful, Smooth, Anytime
Everyone has a coffee that suits them perfectly. This Newman Decaf is certainly mine. There is no bitterness so it needs no sweetening. It's very smooth so it needs less cream. I have even found it makes a delicious iced coffee. I just add little Silk. Try it! You'll be drinking coffee all day too.

Finally - a great K-cup decaf!
My long search is finally over for a non-flavored decaf K-cup that tastes like real coffee. I drink coffee black, and Newman's Own is terrific. It doesn't have that fake, instant coffee taste - it is flavorful and smooth: no burnt or bitter taste. If you are partial to "bold" blends, this might not be for you, but for the rest of us, it's perfect.

Paul Newman's Medium Roast Decaf great!
Would like to have a little more coffee added to the K-cup for a slightly stronger medium taste. The water starts to weaken the current K-cup about half way through,is that possible? Or- can you make a heavier, roasted decaf?

I always disliked decaf coffee and refused to drink it until I tried Newmans own. I love the flavor and I can't tell at all that it's decal (other than the fact I'm not up all night). Now if I want a cup of coffee at 8p.m. I can.

This is the only decaf coffee I purchase
I can only imbibe in decaf drinks since caffeine is a migraine trigger for me. I've tried many brands and flavors of decaf and this one is the BEST. I dislike a chemical-like aftertaste in decaf brews. Newman's Own has no aftertaste and is not bitter, it tastes like regular coffee. I also like the fact it is organic. It is truly a medium roast--I'm not fond of the very strong, dark roasts. If you want BOLD, this not the coffee for you. But it isn't weak either. Very smooth with cream added. I even drink this black with a bit of sugar and find it is smooth with good coffee flavor and no acidity.

Not extra bold as claimed
While the reviewTitl says extra bold, it is not. Weight of the cup (0.31 oz is same as average (non-bold) cups, NOT the larger weight (0.40 oz) as shown on the extra bold non-decaf version of Newmans Own. It tastes weaker, which is of course expected.

I have developed an intolerance to caffeine suddenly, as of 2 months ago. So I just tried this decaf Newman's Special Roast because I sooo miss my coffee! I had my doubts before using it. However, I am incredibly pleased with the coffee, while it was brewing it smelled delish, and with my normal creamer--I can't tell a difference in it and my pre-caffeine allergy country and French roast coffees. I would def. recommend this to anyone who can't have full-fledged caffeinated coffee.

Use the "strong" option on the 2.0
I was a 6-8 cups a day junky then my health forced me to cut down and switch to decaf. This is not a bad coffee but I like more flavor. I bought the box based on the usually reliable Newman brand but this is not a dark roast coffee. It's palatable if use use the "strong" option offered on the 2.0.

I'm not one to endorse a celebrity's brand of anything - especially when they put their name on it. Seems like an ego thing and then it turns out not that great of a product. Well, I am pleased to say that I really enjoy this coffee. It's flavorful but light to enjoy for an after dinner cup. Add a little Irish cream or Frangelico to it and make it a dessert. This is my new favorite decaf. By far better than other brands like Starbucks (bitter), Donut Shop (unpleasant after taste), etc.

This coffee was on sale. I usually buy darker roasts but thought I'd try a lighter roast. Even when brewing on the smallest cup, it is still too light and has very little flavor.

Maybe they sent the wrong samples because I received medium roast coffee. I'm usually pretty tolerant and will drink it even if it's not great, but this was so bad I threw them out after I gave it a second try. First bad experience I've had with Keurig.

I actually love this one! Last year I had a health issue and was told to cut out the caffeine - oh no!! I knew I should so thought I'd try this one and it's great! It doesn't have that decaf taste (weakness). So I say, if I must - this is it! Thanks for this great product!

We have used Newman's Own Organic Decaf--SPECIAL de-caf--but we're puzzled about what is so special about it. On the e-mail we receive to confirm auto ship, this coffee is called Extra Bold, but in reality it is rather bland. There is nothing on the pod label that says Extra Bold, in fact, the label says it is a "medium" roast coffee, so we believe this statement in the e-mails is quite misleading.

Still a dream in decaf form
The decaf version of this doesn't disappoint. The coffee's flavor is still very much intact. Perhaps it is slightly weakened compared to the regular version, but I'm not completely sure of that. At any rate, I have reordered four more boxes. I cannot ever run out of this. Still my number one coffee. Fabulous flavor. Bold, yet smooth. Just like it says. And with a flavor second to none.

Aroma makes my mouth water
We bought this in a decaf variety pack to try with our new K525, & this has been our favorite by far! The aroma is heavenly, & the taste is full, strong (if you set the "dark roast" on your Keurig first) and rich, but not overbearing. Love it black or with a little dark chocolate! You choose.

First tasted this coffee while visiting a relative....I thought it was "regular" coffee. When I hesitated to have a cup later in the day I was told that it was decaf! Bring it on! It's a smooth, full flavored coffee. Not bitter or acidy. I'm not trying any other decaf coffee - I have found the best.

Newman's Own Decaf coffee is very rich and full of flavor! I can't tell it's decaf at all.\
Best decaf I've had.

Treat the start of your day, with Newman’s Special
The flavor is perfect. I prefer Light Roast, because it is less bitter. This medium roast is not bitter and it makes my start of the day a great start!

This coffee is a perfect second cup. Even though it’s a decaf, the flavor and roast is really good.

I've been a customer and fan of the Green Mountain pods for years, but found the Newman's Own product to be equally as tasty.
