I couldn't do without Scotch Mailing Tape
I have to mail packages frequently, so I use a lot of tape. Scotch brand is heavy-duty, does not "shred" like some tapes, and works in all temperatures! It also fits in a handy red "holder" with tearing "teeth" on the end, so you can roll the tape out, cut it on the teeth, and use it quickly. It you're trying to hold a very full box together, you need that tape in a hurry! I buy these refills, which usually come in a pack of two, and I've found ths particular tape works better than any other tape I've used. Since it's clear, you can also put a piece over your mailing label to make it waterproof just like the seams of your box! I couldn't do without it.

I brought a 2 pack Mailing and Storage tape. roll 1 had normal adhesion but roll 2 had low adhesion to the point that I had to double tape over every strip of tape that I use. That roll will not stick to any clean new box. I think there was something wrong with that roll.

Scotch Mailing and Storage Tape
I am in the business of sales and blogging. I am constantly sending out packages. I love to use Scotch mailing and storage tape for all of my packages. Out of all of the complaints that a costumer can give, I have never had a problem with packaging. Thanks Scotch!

Scotch (R) mailing and Storage Tape
This tape is overall the best tape I have ever used to mail packages. It can be used in any type of weather without having to worry about it coming loose from extreme cold or heat. It is very durable.You can easily find it in the stores.
It is also handy when boxing up items for storage. It keeps the seal a long time. I sometimes sell over the internet,this tape is very reliable.

I will only buy Scotch Brand
This tape is the best on the market. The cheaper brands tear off too easily. I ship a lot of items and I know when I use the Scotch packaging tape my items will arrive still in the box where they belong.

Sticky Through All Seasons
I used this Scotch tape to close up some cardboard boxes to put in storage in the attic space. Through 90 degree days and minus 10 degree days, the tape held. Even cat hair and miscellaneous dust-bunnies didn't compromise the sticky to my boxes.

Scotch Brand Packaging Tape
Besides it's use as great, clear package and mailing label sealer, I can't tell you how many uses we have found for this product in the preschool ministry of my church - we use it to reinforce and repair books, seal and reinforce library spine labels and seal and repair tears in vinyl floor cloths, The quality is always consistent, tough, and clear.

I used the Packing Tape when sending a Birthday Present and Christmas Present, I am happy with this product because I know that my packages will get there in one piece. The tape was easy to apply and cut off.

Over the years your tape never tangles up in the dispenser.Now, I'm senior citizen and somewhat slow, I still have no problems with your dispenser and tape.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate good packing tape because I've been using quite a bit of it over the last year and a half. My oldest brother is serving in Afghanistan and between my 4 other siblings and his wife and 4 kids, we are shipping packages right and left. I'm glad to say Every one has gotten there safe and sound, no damage (even electronics), no spoliage (alright, one cookie was broken, haha) and no moisture or signs of weather of any kind. I'll never use another brand. Thank you Scotch!!

Our son has been deployed to Iraq twice and we sent packages of cookies to him and his fellow troops almost weekly. We used your mailing and storage tape and were always confident there would be no porblems with it coming unstuck nor ends getting caught and pulling the tape off. We are pretty sure he will be going to Afghanistan and we plan on using your tape and other mialing supplies if he does. Thanks for a wonderful product.

Packaging & mailing tapes
I always rely on Scotchbrand products they never let me down. I used to have to retape everything when i would talke a package to the post office until I finally got smart and used Scotch packaging tape. Here's another tip too....I use Scotch packaging tape to preserve my cards i need to keep, such as my social security card, etc. This works great by just covering them on both sides and there you have it!

Sealing Boxes Made Easy...
Recently I started packing boxes, getting ready to move. I grabbed up some storage tape that my Mother-in Law had at the house. From the first use, I knew that this tape was wonderful! The handy dispenser made taping boxes so easy. I just pressed the tape down to the box and pulled on the dispenser until I had plenty enough tape to do the job and I did all this with one hand! I was very impressed with this product.

I've tried to use bargain brand packaging tape, but ended up using more tape just to keep the box together. What is worse, is that my boxes fell apart when I tried to move them around in our storage unit after a few months. That was no bargain after all. Scotch Brand Long Lasting Moving and Storage Packaging tape is strong and sticks to the box well, creating a seal that gives me confidence that my items will stay just the way I want them. Even with extreme Texas heat, my Scotch Brand sealed boxes remained sealed and intact. Moving is hard work. I appreciate that Scotch Brand doesn't make the job even harder on me. It does the job it was designed to do, and I am very happy with this product!

I grew up in the military and married into it, as well. As a result, I have moved over 20 times in my life. Each and every brings more boxes and stuff to put in them than the one before. I have tried other brands of packing tape, but none work nearly as well as Scotch. And having a tape dispenser that goes with the tape is one of the best friends you can have when packing. Trying to keep track of tape and scissors and the end the end of the roll of tape is so time consuming and frustratingId. But having an all in one system has made packing so much easier and me so much happier and nicer. I could not face a move without it.

this comes in a dispenser that should be easy to use but it is not; the initial cardboard stop protecting the blade is difficult to remove, the beginning of the tape is difficult to find and then comes off in pieces; all in all an experience not worthy of the Scotch name. The tape itself is thin and floppy so I will switch to the other brand next time.

Great name, horrible tape
I bought an 8 pack of this tape as we prepare for our move. Immediately the tape was noticeably not holding up. Many (if not all) the strips had to be pressed down multiple times. When I went to our storage shed a few days after putting boxes in a majority of the strips had to be pressed down again. The tape is just not sticking. I'm very disappointed.

I recently bought a six roll pack of this tape to use for packing and am so sorry that I did. I figured paying more for a name brand tape would ensure I was getting a quality product -- wrong! The tape is coming unstuck on every box that I have used it on -- I am having to double and triple tape them in hopes that the tape will stick. I had thought it was because I was using some used boxes, but it's not even sticking on brand new boxes. I already purchased an off-brand tape that is working great, so I'm heading out to buy more. Will never buy Scotch moving and storage tape again.

This tape was horrible! Said "long lasting" I taped up some brand new boxes with this stuff and within a few hours the tape just came off the box!! I have to go return it and buy something different because my belongings fell straight through the bottom of the box because this tape didn't hold at all!! Never buying this again.

I received this in the mail just before I needed to package up some used batteries. I resealed some packing boxes, using this new tape, and it did a fantastic job. I was worried because the tape was thinner than other packing tapes I have used, but it seems to be holding up very well and is quite strong!

I received this product free to evaluate. It was pure coincidence I received this at the same time I was helping a friend get ready to move. Since it's winter, I convinced my friend to use this tape and store a few boxes outside to see if it would hold up against the cold like it stated. After a few days in temperatures no higher than 35В°, I was shocked to see that the tape was still holding strong, and not peeling off like normal packing tape. It was a week after I first used the tape when my friend moved into their new place. They said the tape on the boxes left outside held the same as those that were stored inside, and they couldn't tell the difference between the two. I'm glad to see a product actually live up to the claims made by its manufacturers.

I received this as a sample in the mail. I used it to seal up our Christmas tree box which has been taped repeatedly over the years with whatever we have on hand at the time. This is a really strong tape! The dispenser is a must have to keep from going crazy with the tape sticking to itself.

Once solid tape sticks- it’s stuck!
Beginning of roll kept breaking off in pieces but once I was able to get a solid piece to tape box shut it was awesome - it stuck ! Our weather was -30 with wind chills I kept the box out in garage over two nights went out checked it - to my amazement it didn’t break open with it still being negative tempatures . Great stuff.

I was running low on packing tape, so I was happy to receive the tape/dispenser for free to review. I used this type of tape mainly for mailing packages and it works well -- I can't attest to it's longevity in extreme temperatures though. I like the idea of the dispenser and having the cutter as part of it, so I don't have to look for scissors, but as I have small hands, the whole thing felt a bit unwieldy and awkward, especially when I was taping up small boxes.

Works great package made it to Canada!!
I got a sample of scotch long lasting storage packaging tape to try. I use it around the house and a couple of boxes. Then I sent a package to Canada and it held up during shipping by the USPS and by the mail in Canada and it took a week to get there. So it probably went through many hands and machines and it held up perfect!! Much better than other packaging tape that I have tried!!

I received this Scotch Long Lasting Storage Packaging Tape with dispenser right in time to put away Christmas decor. We live in a climate where it gets well over 100 degrees, and with our storage being in the attic, our boxes are exposed to even higher temperatures. When I pull out boxes the following year, the tape has usually unstuck and boxes are wide open. I was excited to try this out instead. The dispenser is easy to use- take tears easily and doesn't make a sticky mess like some dispensers. Unfortunately, until the temperatures soar again, I won't know how well it stays, but I was worried the tape would be too sticky. I opened up a sealed box after a week and the tape was removed easily and without ripping up the box. That's a win for me!

Holds up on the frigid temperature
Just as the temperature started to drop in our area, I need to store some boxes in our shed. Conveniently, I was offered by 3M to sample their Storage Packing Tape, that is said to be "Long lasting in extreme temperatures." Here is what I found:\
\
This is not the same as packaging tape. To really seal the box, after putting the tape on the box, use the side of the tape or something hard to roll it over the tape to make it adhere to the surface of the box. If you just put it on & run your hand over the tape, it won't be enough to get the tape to stick to cardboard boxes because cardboard boxes usually has some texture & dust. \
If you are sticking this on plastic storage boxes, then you should have no problem.\
\
Did it stay? Yes. After leaving there for 2 weeks, I went back to check on the tape. It was fine, despite the freezing temperature in our area.

I received this product for free from 3M. I am really looking forward to testing its long term abilities in the heat of the attic. As of right now, the tape is holding up well. It has a slightly thicker feel than the standard clear packaging tape. It adheres to cardboard well and stays in place without issue. This product is slated for long term use, and I look forward to seeing how it holds up over time.

The Scotch Long Lasting tape is easy to use on the dispenser and does a great job keeping boxes sealed and closed. I think this tape would be great to use on boxes that are going into storage for a long period of time. But only time will tell how much longer this tape will last over standard packaging tape.

Some of the toughest tape I’ve ever used!
This tape is the real deal, I’m not sure you will find a stronger option on the market. If you have heavy items to pack you will want to use this tape for your boxes.

Secures packages for shipping!
This is a heavier duty tape than others, and is great for taping up packages for shipping, especially since packages are tossed around by shippers and you need to be assured that they will make it to the destination in tact.

Good Tape, Basic Dispenser
3M provided this to me at no cost to review. The tape is strong and adheres well, but the dispenser doesn't hold the tape away from the roll well after use and you have to often peel the tape back off the roll.

Scotch tape is the best for packaging tape. I've used other brands, and they are more cumbersome to use, leave a sticky mess, or aren't strong enough to hold the box together. I will always use scotch, great products!

Hard working tape that stays sealed
I use this tape to seal boxes that I'm putting away in long term attic storage. I live in an area where the winters are brutally cold and damp and summers are deathly hot and humid. Despite these extreme temperatures, this tape stays sealed without any problems keeping the contents safe in the unconditioned attic. I received this product as a sample to try, however, I have previously used it before so I know how it performs. I will continue to use this product for all of my storage needs.

Great Even in Extreme Conditions
This Long Lasting Storage Packing Tape is a great product. It's super sticky and easy to use. To replicate extreme temperature conditions, I left a taped up box out in the hot, sunny, humid weather, as well as one in the freezer to replicate frigid conditions in a storage unit. In both cases, the tape was still soundly sticking to the box -- so it holds up in both cold and hot conditions! My only complaint about the product? It was a little difficult to initially start the tape on the new roll. 3M provided me this complimentary item for my unbiased and honest review.

Taping up packages has never been so easy!
I received this as a free sample from 3M and love it! Taping up packages to mail and other items is so much easier the dispenser. No more having to find where the end of the tape is on the roll and wasting tape as it years off unevenly! You will not be disappointed with this sturdy tape dispenser!

I received this free from 3M. This tape is very strong and doesn't rip or tear like cheap packaging tape. It says long lasting and is being put to the test now on boxes in my garage. With the quality of this tape I believe it will be what it says.

This is a great tape (as you would expect from Scotch). I have been using it at work to tape up boxes to store old files and it has unrolled quickly, fastens in a jif, and has stayed on. Very strong.

I received a free sample of Scotch Storage Packing Tape from 3M to review. I had no problems taping up a box - adhesive was strong and secure. I especially like the tabs that prevent the tape from becoming stuck back on the roll.

The first thing I did when I got this was rush down to the basement and started reinforcing my boxes of “stuff”. We call it stuff, but honestly it’s things that we would feel pain if we were to lose. Things like cherished Christmas ornaments made by our children, China that’s been handed down from parents and yearbooks from high school. I was impressed at how well it gripped, even on those less than pristine boxes and not having to fumble with scissors. I am going to have to go buy another roll to finish my boxes since my one roll free sample just won’t cover all my boxed memories. I think I need one roll just for the forever evergreen (fake lol) Christmas tree that’s been in the family for almost 2 decades.

I received a free sample of ScotchВ® Long Lasting Storage Packaging Tape with Dispenser for my honest review. I'm not thrilled with the dispenser, it's a bit confusing to me. The tape is very nice, sticks well and gets the job done.

This tape seems to be very sturdy! I like the fact that it is meant to be durable in extreme temperatures. We move pretty frequently and the truck/storage area tends to get very got in the summer, so this tape is perfect for securing our boxes! I received the tape as a free sample in exchange for my review.

I am happy with this product
We have been packing up a relatives house and storing items in our garage temporarily. Living in a hot climate--temps inside the garage rise quickly. Many tapes I have used lose their stickiness in the heat and start to pull away. I have been impressed with how the Long Lasting Scotch Storage tape has been holding up. It sticks well to boxes and has remained "stuck" or taped since the first packaging. I think and foresee it will continue to hold up even in the heat of our garage. \

I will say my initial impression was that I had a hard time getting the tape off the roll to start the strip. This sometimes happens but the tape was not marked with a line/tab where the stop line was. So far it has stayed near the cutter and has not been a problem. But I did find the initial opening to be annoying. I expect better from Scotch (who has tabs on their Scotch tape typically). However, the actual use of this product has lived up to my expectations and it works well. I recommend this product for boxes you want to remain sealed for an extended period of time or in places of higher temperatures--it works well!

I received this free product from 3M and have purchased this product in the past. I really love using the Scotch Brand of packing tape because of how strong it is and how well it lasts. I've used other brands of tape that are hard to use and fall apart easy, not Scotch Long Lasting Storage Packing Tape, its the BEST!!

I have used many packaging tapes and they all get the end back on the roll & then you have to find it and start the tape again after cutting. This is so nice having the whole holder with a cutter. Works well and so very convenient. Tape adheres well and stays put.

I received this product for free for the purpose of a review. I've only used this on a couple boxes so far this week, but it's holding up really well. It sticks down well and seals the boxes. It seems strong enough and sticky enough to be long lasting

Heavier Duty than Average Packing Tape
Received as a sample to rate/review. Just happens that it's at a time where I'm packing up my parent's travel collectibles for indefinite storage. Tape is clearly thicker mil than most similar products on the market. Only time will tell how long it will hold up in attic storage.

Longer lasting and Great Tape
This 3M long lasting storage packaging tape with dispenser is a great find. The tape dispenser is easy to use and cuts easily through the tape. The tape easily sticks to package and bags and stays put. I even tried putting this tape on a frozen bag of food right out of the freezer, and it stuck to the bag with no problem and stays put, even in the freezer. It does not lose its grip and stays put for as long as I need it to. The tape is strong, rip proof and adheres extremely well to all smooth and not so smooth surfaces that i tried it on. I would highly recommend this tape and its dispenser for all of your packing needs in hot and cold conditions.

Reliably secure over time - better than expected. I love this tape for all kinds of uses including taping electrical cords to the floor (my cat is obsessed with string) and covering the places in the carpet he tears up.

I received a sample of Scotch Storage packaging tape and was extremely pleased with the ease of use & strength of the product. I always keep a roll of Scotch packaging tape at work and home as it never fails to perform. Adding in the "long lasting storage" too a great product up yet another notch!

While I have tried several other types of packing tape, I have found that this brand is much better. My reason for saying that is because most packing tapes you can take off easily as they do not stick well. This brand sticks like it should and I feel secure knowing the tape will not come off during shipment. This is, by far, the better end of the packing tapes. \

I was so excited to receive this Scotch long lasting storage packing tape from 3M because I live in SW Florida with hot weather all the time and we Floridians often store items in our garage. This packing tape will seal packages for years in extreme temperatures from -25 degrees F to 160 degrees F! It is a strong, solvent free adhesive that is UV and sunlight resistant. This tape seals out moisture, dust, and dirt and is very long lasting. Have you ever looked at you boxes and the tape was coming off...I have! The tape is so easy to use because it cuts cleanly and has fall back tabs to ensure the tape doesn’t fall back on the roll which I can’t stand with other brands I have used in the past. It just wastes so much of my time trying to get it off the roll so this is a big benefit to me. I recommend this tape to everyone because it is the best no matter what temperatures you live in.

The gold standard for taping boxes.
We recently underwent a complete kitchen renovation and needed to store items while it was ongoing. We've used Scotch packing tape for previous moves and fortunately received a free sample of the Scotch Long Lasting Storage Tape from 3M. \

The product was very easy to use with the included dispenser and easier to use with a commercial dispenser we've bought previously (we've moved a lot). We were very comfortable using the product that we purchased additional rolls for the remaining boxed. \

highly recommend this tape to securely tape boxes for both long and short term use.

I received a free sample from 3M in exchange for a review. I used this tape for things I was putting away in the attic in September and my Halloween boxes and decor. When I went in my attic to get my Christmas decorations I checked on the tape. It was still clear and stuck on everything that I used it on. Each label I made was still on and showed no signs of discoloring. In the past when I have used cheap brands of tape for my attic, the tape gets brittle and yellow and falls off. So far this tape looks great.
