Scotch(R) Mailing and Storage Tape
I have used Scotch mailing and storage tape on every package I mail. I have never had a package come open during handling, they stay secure until opened.

I couldn't do without Scotch Mailing Tape
I have to mail packages frequently, so I use a lot of tape. Scotch brand is heavy-duty, does not "shred" like some tapes, and works in all temperatures! It also fits in a handy red "holder" with tearing "teeth" on the end, so you can roll the tape out, cut it on the teeth, and use it quickly. It you're trying to hold a very full box together, you need that tape in a hurry! I buy these refills, which usually come in a pack of two, and I've found ths particular tape works better than any other tape I've used. Since it's clear, you can also put a piece over your mailing label to make it waterproof just like the seams of your box! I couldn't do without it.

Scotch Mailing and Storage Tape
I am in the business of sales and blogging. I am constantly sending out packages. I love to use Scotch mailing and storage tape for all of my packages. Out of all of the complaints that a costumer can give, I have never had a problem with packaging. Thanks Scotch!

Scotch (R) mailing and Storage Tape
This tape is overall the best tape I have ever used to mail packages. It can be used in any type of weather without having to worry about it coming loose from extreme cold or heat. It is very durable.You can easily find it in the stores.
It is also handy when boxing up items for storage. It keeps the seal a long time. I sometimes sell over the internet,this tape is very reliable.

I SEND SEVERAL PACKAGES TO MY GRANDCHILDREN IN ANOTHER STATE AND ALWAYS TAPE THE BOXES REALLY WELL. THIS TAPE IS GREAT FOR HOLDING TOGETHER THOSE NOT SO GOOD BOXES

I will only buy Scotch Brand
This tape is the best on the market. The cheaper brands tear off too easily. I ship a lot of items and I know when I use the Scotch packaging tape my items will arrive still in the box where they belong.

Sticky Through All Seasons
I used this Scotch tape to close up some cardboard boxes to put in storage in the attic space. Through 90 degree days and minus 10 degree days, the tape held. Even cat hair and miscellaneous dust-bunnies didn't compromise the sticky to my boxes.

Scotch Brand Packaging Tape
Besides it's use as great, clear package and mailing label sealer, I can't tell you how many uses we have found for this product in the preschool ministry of my church - we use it to reinforce and repair books, seal and reinforce library spine labels and seal and repair tears in vinyl floor cloths, The quality is always consistent, tough, and clear.

I can't say enough good things about Scotch brand Mailing and Storage Tape. I moved from Alaska to Wisconsin and not only did every box make it from Alaska to my first stop of Wyoming into a storage unit. It also made it from Wyoming to Wisconsin intact! I love this stuff! We use all the time at home for everyday use as well. It sticks to what its suppose to and comes off easily when a 7 year old puts tape on furniture. I would recommend anyone who is moving, mailing, or storing something to use this tape!

Over the years your tape never tangles up in the dispenser.Now, I'm senior citizen and somewhat slow, I still have no problems with your dispenser and tape.

I'm always buying the Scotch mailing and storage tape. I use it all the time. It's great for "building" small forts with boxes and it holds great. I use it to preserve cut outs that my daughter plays with. It seals them clear and alot cheaper than lamination. Great holding tape!

After I knocked off my left side car mirror in August 2010, I taped it back on with the package tape. It held in sun, rain and wind until today when I was able to afford a new mirror. Great Stuff !!!

I bought this product in a plastic holder for packing boxes for mailing. Since I am partially disabled this product is very helpful and easy to use. I can use one hand to hold the box together and the other hand to apply the tape. It is easy to use and adheres very well. Thank you, Scotch, for another fantastic product.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate good packing tape because I've been using quite a bit of it over the last year and a half. My oldest brother is serving in Afghanistan and between my 4 other siblings and his wife and 4 kids, we are shipping packages right and left. I'm glad to say Every one has gotten there safe and sound, no damage (even electronics), no spoliage (alright, one cookie was broken, haha) and no moisture or signs of weather of any kind. I'll never use another brand. Thank you Scotch!!

Our son has been deployed to Iraq twice and we sent packages of cookies to him and his fellow troops almost weekly. We used your mailing and storage tape and were always confident there would be no porblems with it coming unstuck nor ends getting caught and pulling the tape off. We are pretty sure he will be going to Afghanistan and we plan on using your tape and other mialing supplies if he does. Thanks for a wonderful product.

I have been such a big fan and love the your products, we have been using the packaging tape for such a long time now, we ship alot of packages to our daughter and her family for special occasions and holidays, the durability is a plus and the ease of placing the tape on the packages are a plus, once we seal the boxes I feel rest assured that they are sealed tight and won't come undone during the travel accross many states.
I would recommend this product to anyone who ships any items in the mail.

At my work I use packing tape all the time. Our boss tries to save money by buying chain store brands of packing tape. We ave to use three times the amount of tape compared to the Scotch brand tape. The quality can't be beat. The tape sticks the first time and is strong enough to hold through the shipping journey. I have even stated using it at home to seal boxes that are going in my attic. It withholds the constant temperature change throughout the year.

We used the packing tape to secure a box of supplies for a trip to South Dakota.
We shipped the box to our hotel, in advance of our arrival, and the box was 100% intact upon our arrival.
I have used this packing tape many times and never been disappointed.

I just wanted to note that the scotch mailing tape has been my best friend for the longest time! I use it to secure my business flyers and can be reassured that they will not fly away or fall off. I rely on the scotch tape for my home business for shipping as well. I do not buy anything else because scotch has been a life saver for me for years. I have no issue using it even with the arthiritis in my hands, I am able to use it with no problems.

I move ALOT! I always buy scotch packing tape when I have to pack boxes. I always know that the boxes are not going to come apart because it sticks the first time I put it on. I have tried store brands and nothing compares to Scotch packing tape!

My daughter was in the military in Texas and wanted cookies, socks, her snuggie and other 'vital needs'. I had to get packages to her that were intact. This tape is the one I used. Her battalion said the cookies traveled across the country just fine.

I grew up in the military and married into it, as well. As a result, I have moved over 20 times in my life. Each and every brings more boxes and stuff to put in them than the one before. I have tried other brands of packing tape, but none work nearly as well as Scotch. And having a tape dispenser that goes with the tape is one of the best friends you can have when packing. Trying to keep track of tape and scissors and the end the end of the roll of tape is so time consuming and frustratingId. But having an all in one system has made packing so much easier and me so much happier and nicer. I could not face a move without it.

I have never been so displeased with what is claimed to be "long lasting tape". As I packed up my family to move I assumed this product would last the truck ride to our new destination. When I finished packing and taping for the day I had no idea that when I woke up all of the boxes had opened because of such poor quality tape. How is the ratingId for this is so high when just the tape is about a single star ratingId? Never again will I even consider scotch anything

this comes in a dispenser that should be easy to use but it is not; the initial cardboard stop protecting the blade is difficult to remove, the beginning of the tape is difficult to find and then comes off in pieces; all in all an experience not worthy of the Scotch name. The tape itself is thin and floppy so I will switch to the other brand next time.

I purchased a 4 pack for moving. all the boxes that I tapped did not hold. Now I have to re tape all my boxes ( time and money) It is definitely not long lasting as it only held the box closed for a short period of time top and bottom. cannot believe this is the quality I am getting out of such a trusted brand. Very disappointed

I bought 6 rolls of this tape. Packed boxes for moving and taped them next morning all the tape had come off. Thinking it was just this roll i retaped with the second roll. Same thing happened. Really disappointed in the brand.

I am packing for a major move so I have LOTS of boxes. Maybe I'm not using this stuff properly, but so far I think it's TERRIBLE! It doesn't stay down - I tape up a box and it seems nice and secure and then a day later the tape has come loose!! Basically, this products sucks! I am having to re-tape all my boxes!!!!!!!!!!!

I was happy to receive this product through the 3M sampling program. It has exceeded my expectations. The tape adheres very well and cuts in an easy way. It creates a seal that lasts and I look forward to using it for future packing tape needs.

I have always loved scotch tape for my packages. I love that this one is long lasting and will stay on even in severe temperatures. It has a nice dispenser that makes it easier to use. I highly recommend this product. I received this product free from 3M for testing purposes.

I received this item as a free sample but I would have purchased it anyway. This tape and dispenser is so useful for your special care packages and the holiday season. It makes taping quick, neat and easy. It's definitely a product that saves it,e and goes a little way.

My favorite brand of packaging tape
3M - ScotchВ® Long Lasting Storage Packaging Tape with Dispenser is the only packaging tape that I use! When I moved I trusted 3M - ScotchВ® Long Lasting Storage Packaging Tape with Dispenser to keep my belongings inside their respective boxes and I knew that it would hold up to all of the handling from my old place to my new place! I've used this product for as long as I can remember and it's never let me down. The dispenser is an awesome feature, as I won't have to hunt down a pair of scissors whenever I need to cut the tape.

I received this product free from 3M to evaluate. It was a little difficult to get the roll started because the tape kept splitting, but once I got it going it dispensed easily and cut cleanly. Adheres very well to cardboard. I was not able to test it for long-term storage in weather extremes. It would be nice if the tape were a little bit wider for more bonding surface. Otherwise, it works exactly as packing tape should!

I received this as a sample in the mail. I used it to seal up our Christmas tree box which has been taped repeatedly over the years with whatever we have on hand at the time. This is a really strong tape! The dispenser is a must have to keep from going crazy with the tape sticking to itself.

The Tape was sent to me to try direct from 3M. At first I thought ok another roll of packing tape. I have made 12 moves in the last 15 yrs and I can say with confidence this is different from most. The tape is easy to get started and I can seal a box with one piece of tape as opposed to 3 or 4 strips with the other brands. It tears off easy and sticks to the boxes with ease. This came at a great time because we had several boxes to put into storage. Have no doubt the tape will hold up while stored away in the garage or the attic. \
The only con was the cutting edge, it got a little clogged up with sticky remnants from the tape. Also watch that edge because it is sharper than other tape dispensers.

This is great tape from a brand I trust. The built in dispenser works just as good as any heavy duty dispenser that weighs a ton. I am loving that it doesn't take up a lot of space and is very light weight to use.

Once solid tape sticks- it’s stuck!
Beginning of roll kept breaking off in pieces but once I was able to get a solid piece to tape box shut it was awesome - it stuck ! Our weather was -30 with wind chills I kept the box out in garage over two nights went out checked it - to my amazement it didn’t break open with it still being negative tempatures . Great stuff.

This product is great for long term storage. I taped up a box, then used a blow dryer on high setting to see how it will hold up to high heat did great.

I was running low on packing tape, so I was happy to receive the tape/dispenser for free to review. I used this type of tape mainly for mailing packages and it works well -- I can't attest to it's longevity in extreme temperatures though. I like the idea of the dispenser and having the cutter as part of it, so I don't have to look for scissors, but as I have small hands, the whole thing felt a bit unwieldy and awkward, especially when I was taping up small boxes.

Works great package made it to Canada!!
I got a sample of scotch long lasting storage packaging tape to try. I use it around the house and a couple of boxes. Then I sent a package to Canada and it held up during shipping by the USPS and by the mail in Canada and it took a week to get there. So it probably went through many hands and machines and it held up perfect!! Much better than other packaging tape that I have tried!!

Holds up on the frigid temperature
Just as the temperature started to drop in our area, I need to store some boxes in our shed. Conveniently, I was offered by 3M to sample their Storage Packing Tape, that is said to be "Long lasting in extreme temperatures." Here is what I found:\
\
This is not the same as packaging tape. To really seal the box, after putting the tape on the box, use the side of the tape or something hard to roll it over the tape to make it adhere to the surface of the box. If you just put it on & run your hand over the tape, it won't be enough to get the tape to stick to cardboard boxes because cardboard boxes usually has some texture & dust. \
If you are sticking this on plastic storage boxes, then you should have no problem.\
\
Did it stay? Yes. After leaving there for 2 weeks, I went back to check on the tape. It was fine, despite the freezing temperature in our area.

I received this product for free from 3M. I am really looking forward to testing its long term abilities in the heat of the attic. As of right now, the tape is holding up well. It has a slightly thicker feel than the standard clear packaging tape. It adheres to cardboard well and stays in place without issue. This product is slated for long term use, and I look forward to seeing how it holds up over time.

3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. This tape feels stickier and thicker than the Scotch Shipping Tape Heavy Duty...which is great for shipping boxes not just storing boxes.

The Scotch Long Lasting tape is easy to use on the dispenser and does a great job keeping boxes sealed and closed. I think this tape would be great to use on boxes that are going into storage for a long period of time. But only time will tell how much longer this tape will last over standard packaging tape.

Some of the toughest tape I’ve ever used!
This tape is the real deal, I’m not sure you will find a stronger option on the market. If you have heavy items to pack you will want to use this tape for your boxes.

Secures packages for shipping!
This is a heavier duty tape than others, and is great for taping up packages for shipping, especially since packages are tossed around by shippers and you need to be assured that they will make it to the destination in tact.

Scotch tape is the best for packaging tape. I've used other brands, and they are more cumbersome to use, leave a sticky mess, or aren't strong enough to hold the box together. I will always use scotch, great products!

Great Even in Extreme Conditions
This Long Lasting Storage Packing Tape is a great product. It's super sticky and easy to use. To replicate extreme temperature conditions, I left a taped up box out in the hot, sunny, humid weather, as well as one in the freezer to replicate frigid conditions in a storage unit. In both cases, the tape was still soundly sticking to the box -- so it holds up in both cold and hot conditions! My only complaint about the product? It was a little difficult to initially start the tape on the new roll. 3M provided me this complimentary item for my unbiased and honest review.

Taping up packages has never been so easy!
I received this as a free sample from 3M and love it! Taping up packages to mail and other items is so much easier the dispenser. No more having to find where the end of the tape is on the roll and wasting tape as it years off unevenly! You will not be disappointed with this sturdy tape dispenser!

I volunteer to evaluate products for 3m and the company recently sent me a free sample of scotch long lasting storage packaging tape. If is okay product. I tried to tape a box and the tape kept on shredding and then was hard to restart. The dispenser needs some kind of hooks to hold the tape from going back on the roll.

I received the product free from 3M and what a great timing it was. I needed a tape that will be able to handle high heat in storage and this tape definitely seems like it will not only handle the heat but last for a long time. No more struggling to cut the tape as the dispenser makes it very easy and quick to cut. I’m happy with what I received.

I received this to trial and overall its a good product. A little thin and at times it rips as you're pulling it off the dispenser but better than a lot of packing tape I've used.

Sticky clear tape and easy to use
Scotch tape that is specific to a need is great. It can also be used for everything else, but this take is specifically made for long term storage items. I have a TON of stuff in my garage and it happens to get humid and nasty in there. I always tape boxes or labels and the labels will fall off due to the moist conditions in the garage. This tape is sticky enough to handle the weather and is pretty easy to use. It is pretty solid tape. Can be used for shipping or whatever you need it for really. I had some pants that ripped on the bottom and actually used this tape to a 'fake" hem for the night when needing it quickly. It stayed all night! Awesome. I did receive this product free from 3M to review.

This is a great tape (as you would expect from Scotch). I have been using it at work to tape up boxes to store old files and it has unrolled quickly, fastens in a jif, and has stayed on. Very strong.

I received a free sample of Scotch Storage Packing Tape from 3M to review. I had no problems taping up a box - adhesive was strong and secure. I especially like the tabs that prevent the tape from becoming stuck back on the roll.

I recently used it to pack up some things for storage (not for a shipment). I can't yet say exactly how it will perform over the years...get back to me in 5-10 years!\

However, I can say with confidence that it is thick tape, it's super-sticky, and remarkably clear (more clear than any other packing tape that I have ever used.\
\
It's also listed as being goo in extreme temperatures. That's very good, because I'll be putting these boxes in storage in a place that regularly gets 100+ degrees in the summer, and occasionally below zero in the winter. I know for a fact that cold temps render other tape worthless, so that feature alone will be very helpful in preserving the seal on the boxes!

The first thing I did when I got this was rush down to the basement and started reinforcing my boxes of “stuff”. We call it stuff, but honestly it’s things that we would feel pain if we were to lose. Things like cherished Christmas ornaments made by our children, China that’s been handed down from parents and yearbooks from high school. I was impressed at how well it gripped, even on those less than pristine boxes and not having to fumble with scissors. I am going to have to go buy another roll to finish my boxes since my one roll free sample just won’t cover all my boxed memories. I think I need one roll just for the forever evergreen (fake lol) Christmas tree that’s been in the family for almost 2 decades.

I received this free product from 3M and have purchased this product in the past. I really love using the Scotch Brand of packing tape because of how strong it is and how well it lasts. I've used other brands of tape that are hard to use and fall apart easy, not Scotch Long Lasting Storage Packing Tape, its the BEST!!

I have used many packaging tapes and they all get the end back on the roll & then you have to find it and start the tape again after cutting. This is so nice having the whole holder with a cutter. Works well and so very convenient. Tape adheres well and stays put.

I received this product for free for the purpose of a review. I've only used this on a couple boxes so far this week, but it's holding up really well. It sticks down well and seals the boxes. It seems strong enough and sticky enough to be long lasting

Seems Just Like Regular Packing Tape
I received this product free from 3M as part of an evaluation. Overall, it seems like the tape is just like normal packing tape, as I didn’t have a chance to try it out in high temperatures. It was very difficult to find the start of the tape and peel it back to get the roll started. They could have added an easy pull tab. Also, the plastic casing around the tape was kind of flimsy and didn’t hold the tape as snug as I liked. Overall, I don’t think I would pay more for this tape unless I was storing boxes for a long time in a hot and humid climate.

I wanted to buy tape that would be sturdy enough to send cross country, I hate when I send something to my family and it’s open or damaged so I needed something more durable. It’s easy to use because of the dispenser. Overall perfect for sending packages or packing things up for storing.

I received a free sample from 3M in exchange for a review. I used this tape for things I was putting away in the attic in September and my Halloween boxes and decor. When I went in my attic to get my Christmas decorations I checked on the tape. It was still clear and stuck on everything that I used it on. Each label I made was still on and showed no signs of discoloring. In the past when I have used cheap brands of tape for my attic, the tape gets brittle and yellow and falls off. So far this tape looks great.
