Scotch(R) Shipping Packaging Tape - Sure Smart
I mail a lot of packages and after several disasters, Scotch is the ONLY tape that I buy. The regular shipping is good for most mail. The Heavy Duty is good for very large or very heavy packages. It doesn't wrinkle, it sticks tight, is easy to cut on the cutter and has just the right tension to control the tape. I love Scotch and will never again try a "cheaper" brand!

Does The Job The Best - Is A Money Saver As Well
Scotch is the only brand I purchase for shipping packages. It's the best product that i don't have to double layers of tape on the boxes I send..like a friend of mine does when she mails packages. She's wasting money using so much tape. Scotch Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape saves me money and is a quality product. I'll never switch.

I use thise tape all the time and it's so convenient , unwinding quickly and strong so I can securely use less. I always have plenty on hand for items I must get out! It always looks professional.

It would help if you had a diagram of "sure start". Not easy to start or unwind. It is a terrible design.

As advertised, this tape starts easily. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I can say about it. It sticks very poorly, rendering it almost useless as shipping tape. It also cuts very poorly using a standard shipping tape dispenser, perhaps because it comes off the roll so easily and thus doesn't provide enough tension for the dispenser to work. Ultimately, I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product.

I was actually excited to receive this tape. I immediately brought it to work as we had a few boxes we needed to ship out. \
The tape worked as expected and was so easy to start- when others (store brands) take forever to find the beginning. As we taped up our boxes I know they were taped well you can just tell. I was sent this product to use in exchange for a review. My comments are my own.

Durable, quiet and easy to start tape!
This tape works well for taping boxes for shipping. I like that it's a bit thicker than normal packing tape, on top of that it is very easy to start!\

3M sent this roll to check out- super cool! You don’t have to pick & scrape to start or restart the tape on the cutter- makes a HUGE difference in user friendliness!! Keep it up 3M!!!

This is a great tape for any type of box that needs to be sealed up good. This stuff stays in place even in my hot storage unit!

The perfect shipping tape!
This sure start tape if great! It sticks just like the other kinds of shipping tape, but you know that loud ripping sound when you’re trying to tape up a box quietly in an office setting, only for it to be obnoxiously loud anyway? Well- not with this! It really is much quieter. A+++ 3M :)

Performs better than expected!
I received this product for free as a promotional offer and didn’t expect the shipping tape to have this strong hold. It is really a firm, secure way to tape items that will ensure a variety of things during shipping. Well done 3M!

I received a sample of ScotchВ® Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape and I'm so happy I did .It's so easy to use and handle. No mess just seal and go.I like the nice big hadle,save a lot of time to seal my packages.

Better than the off-brand tapes!
I usually purchase off-brand packing tape to save money, but when I got a chance to use this free sample from 3M - what a difference! It sticks really well and worth paying for.

The 3M Scotch Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape works great. It does what it says it does, secures packages well, and works like it should. My daughter got a hold of my tape before I could so I thought I'd have some trouble getting it to start, but nope, it started perfectly. I am very happy with this product that I received from 3M.

By far, this was the easiest and quietest packing tape I've ever used. Didn't have to search for the beginning of the tape to get the roll started. No annoying schreaching noises either. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

I received this sample to try last week. I was very impressed with how easy it was to use, it comes out neat and isn't difficult to pull out. I felt like it was a very heavy duty tape and holds very well

I've been using 3M-Scotch shipping tape for years. It's great quality, crystal clear, and easy to use. How could it be improved? Surprisingly, it was! The Sure Start lives up to it's name Each time I've used it, I haven't had to fumble with getting it started - something I was just accustomed to. The coolest part though is the quick, smooth pull. My first time using it I pulled as normal, and got a lot of tape. Wow... it releases wonderfully smoothly and quietly. I've mailed several packages with it now & it really makes packaging items simple. Thanks 3M!

quick, easy, stress free.
3M sent me the Scotch Sure Start packing tape to review and I have to say I'm impressed! The dispenser is pretty normal, but the tape itself makes packing and shipping stress free. The tape dispenses pretty easily, still nice and sticky, but doesn't rip length wise, so you're not sitting there scratching at clear shreds of tape trying to find the end (I know I've been there)\
Overall it held up pretty well during the shipping process, which gives it two big thumbs up!

I received this product from 3M to review. I liked how quiet and easy the tape was to unwind. At work, we have different ones that are so loud and hard to unroll, and the whole office can hear when you use it. For that reason this product would be a nice substitute. The stickiness seemed average. I was able to stick and unstick it from cardboard pretty easily. Definitely would not use it for a heavy box or anything heavy duty. Light shipping would be fine. I also had a tough time getting it started (the ends kept splitting apart), but once I got it going it was fine. Overall, pretty average for tape, but the quiet aspect could definitely be beneficial.

Sure Start and Silent, but a Bit Thin
I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and was recently sent the ScotchВ® Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape.\

First, what I like: the refillable plastic dispenser is superb. It's designed with little plastic tabs on either side, underneath the blade, so that after you cut off your preferred length of tape, the end of the tape no longer flops down on the roll, leaving you to have to turn the roll around and around until you find the start. Instead, about and inch of the length of the tape is

Needs a couple adjustments
It says easy start. Well I had a hard time at first getting the tape to lift off the first little part to start the roll. It took me 10 minutes to take my nail around it to catch to lift do that I could put it over the red part to start. Once I did that, it was better. It was easy to hold it and use one hand to seal the box.

I received the product free from 3M. The tape is easy to start and get going around boxes. It is thicker than other tape I have used so it should hold up well during shipping. I like that the dispenser can be refilled. I also like that it is made in the USA. I would buy it again the next time I need more tape.

Good Tape, Dispenser Not Always Needed
The tape itself did the job I need it to do, but I did have to press down on it with my hands to make sure it stuck to my boxes. Excellent clarity for taping on shipping labels. The dispenser is useful for larger boxes, but as I was shipping out smaller packages, it felt a bit unwieldy to use.

Only shipping tape I use!
This is the only shipping tape I use. No other brand matches this. Easy to use, goes on easy and keeps my packages secure.

Taping a large, heavy box? Easy!
I recently had to tape shut a large, heavy box. Scotch Easy Unwind Packaging Tape made it simple. It was easy to find the end of the roll of tape and it unwound smoothly using one hand.\
3M provided a free sample of this product for me to evaluate.

Easy to peel off the roll
I got this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I regularly use tape around the house and office; my major problem is to start the tape, it does take time and I was excited to find out there is a tape that won’t have this problem. So far, I can say the tape is super easy to start, I just love to spend my time in the actual packaging rather than the tape going messy on me. I don’t give this product 5 stars just because I need to verify how good it stays in place over time.

Perfect for mailing packages
I received this tape from 3M but my opinion is my own. I hate wasting tape trying to find the end and getting it not to rip. There was zero problem getting this tape started and it wraps easily. Packages need one strip and they are secure. It was so easy to get back to school packages in the mail for all the kids heading off to college. Will definitely continue to buy this tape.

This product was sent to me for review and I put it to work on a return shipment I needed to make. The tape came right off the roll easily, stuck fast, and was strong enough to handle the books banging around inside the box. Definitely helpful.

Easy to re-start and sticks strongly!
I received a roll of this Scotch Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape free from 3M and was ready to put it to the test. I have used it for a while now, since these pictures were taken upon taping up my first box with it. I am happy to report that it works great. The tape glides smoothly in the dispenser and tears cleanly with ease. The tape adheres well to boxes and the like, but is surprisingly easy to re-start if you drop it and it sticks back to itself completely. Definitely recommend!

This tape is excellent! As a single mom packing boxes is hard when your watching your kids. I wanted to pack at night but the tape roll would wake my daughter without fail. This product is quiet! It’s easy to rip with one hand. Strong as can be. And there’s a very nice amount on the roll.

I received this from #M to test, but I have bought it in the past. It's my go to for packing boxes. it's always the best for packing in that it stays stuck and with the dispenser it's easy to use.

I received this product free to review from 3M. I thoroughly enjoyed this handy product. I have shipped several packages over the past few months and this tape has been one of the easiest to use. It performs as it says, it is easy to unwind and does not get tangled on itself. I've really enjoyed using it and will purchase it once I have run out.

These smaller width rolls of ScotchВ® Sure Start Shipping Packing Tape, 1.88"W x 25 yds., Clear, 6 Rolls, are well priced and much less wasteful than the larger width rolls. I highly recommend them
